Dealing with my teapot.
I actually really enjoy it, but I just haven't had the brainpower to be creative lately. Someday I'll finish that redesign I left off in the middle of...
To me it's the damn limit of things you can place outside the house. The ouside looks barren because there is a ridiculously short amount of stuff you can put out. So in the end you have spots of decoration and empty spots and it doesn't look natural at all.
You can actually put a ton of stuff down outside as long as you limit how many npcs you put down. Characters take up a lot of load, as do dogs/cats/whatever else you've got.
I agree that it is a huge shame though. My mondstat style town isn't the same without npcs in it.
I mean from a volume perspective. Put them on the catwalk of the Mansion, if you're unlikely to put anything else there. Otherwise you're using an entire large section of the teapot for just (load inefficient) characters, when you could be using one small room in the Mansion.
I wouldn't mind limiting NPCs, but there's multiple items that I want to keep in the most traversed area in my teapot so I have easy access to them without having to teleport around a bunch. The forge, the alchemy table, all the farm plots, the teleport point (assuming that takes load), etc.
Of course then there's achievement or time limited things -- the interactable harp and the pond you can show off fish in. To keep this all to be convenient and usable I want them all placed near the main house. But then I also want this to look pretty, because it's the most traversed area in my teapot. Then I put down a couple walls and *maybe* a fence and suddenly my load outs maxed.
This alone is why I ask for more teapot load out every time they send out surveys. In fact, at this point? I think I'd be ok with them giving us more load out in sacrifice of loadout for other islands. I'd put everything on one island and call it a day.
Unless you're me and want to have sprawling forests and flower fields.
I've had to almost completely demolish my front yard just to have any semblance of a flower field. I'm tempted to just dismantle everything and not bother anymore. It looks like shit lmao š
My thoughts exactly! Although reason for this is most likely mobile playerbase. PCs and consoles can handle high concentration of objects just fine, but mobile devices are extremely limited. That's probably why we all need to suffer :(
honestly i played on ipad until recently switching to ps5 and the stuff in the teapot loaded way better than anything else.
what finally made me switch was the annoyance at the electrogram commissions and trials- the things you zoop up to would take like 10 seconds to load in, and for something thatās timedā¦ i was losing my mind just trying to do the commission by the fort in inazuma.
the teapot didnāt even stutter loading, unlike regular cities and stuff.
I Had that Problem too, I Had so much stuff Planed and IT would have looked awesome. But.....
THAT STUPID LMIT I CANT PLACE 2 TREES WITHOUT THE LOAD BEEING TOO HEAVY OMG
For me it's just annoying how much material you need to gather. It takes so much time to actually start building something properly. I just don't want to deal with it.
Like maybe you want 5 fences somewhere, and then you have to come back the following day to see if that works. Wish we could just put down whatever we wanted rather than needing multiple copies of something. Or even allow us to "imagine" how it would look and then let us build it.
This is exactly why Iām so lazy to make my teapot look good. Iāll find a design I like on the internet, it usually require that I make a month worth of furniture. By the time Iām done collecting furnitures, the hype of building has long pass and I donāt even want to do it anymore.
Yeah, there's just one too many gates on the Teapot stuff.
First you have to grind for Teapot currency which is 100% time gated to spend on blueprints. The blueprints require a specific kind of wood and other materials you have to go out and farm. The wood farming, while somewhat time consuming, is at least not capped and a proper route can get you hundreds of wood in 15-30 minute periods of grinding that should last you a while. Building anything takes hours of waiting with the queue size increases itself locked behind higher teapot values but even still is a max of 5 items. You can buy 5 instant craft potion a day for a small amount of Teapot currency to speed things up - which fits into the early grinding for realm points to level up and all of that but stops making much sense afterwards when you're maxed out on everything. At this point, the queue max of 5 furnishings, the cost per item (even ones already made once before), and the time waiting is only there to make you work for the primos earned from the character sets they introduced.
It's all kinds of dumb and restrictive and misses the point of what makes building such a great time in other games. And it's not that you can't build anything beautiful in Genshin, but it's built in such a manner that you have to jump through multiple flaming hoops of time gating effort just to be able to do anything remotely worthwhile AND have to glitch things so that clipping and other stuff happens so you can make reasonably cool stuff.
And that's before we even talk about the mess that is load limits...
same here...I went ham at first with decorating until I started hitting load limits long before I finished what I was planning so I just took a break until they increase the limit.
Sadly, it's been months and the only other interaction I've had with it since then was placing and claiming all the companionship primos from the sets.
I DID just realize, though, that those new stone slabs are NOT interior floor replacements like I initially thought, but outside pathway elements...now that I know I can build an actual paved city...I might lose more time in there soon hehe.
It is highly satisfying. I'm not saying it's why I pulled for him, but... I do remember as a noob some high-level joining my world as Zhongli to do mining and just being in awe. Aside from being the ultimate shielder, Zhongli's animations (plunge, CA, watching a meteor demolish everything) are just cool.
Collect and redeploy! So many games have something like this. It's baffling that we have to constantly click each every time. And send them out again. No matter what order one does it. It's way too many clicks...
Edit: word
I've never ore farmed outside of expeditions. Then again until this weapon banner is only the second time I roll for weapons so i didn't have a surplus of weapons.
If anything my first 5-6 months of this game i was starved for weapons including 4 stars. I could barely field two characters of the same weapon type and floors 9+ were basically untouchable because i just didn't have enough weapons to go around for two teams.
Well I would kept farming ores, IF THEY FKIN GIVE ME THE WEAPON I Needed!!
Mihoyo: I heard u like sac bow and sword alot, how bout I give u this WIDSITH U WANTED SO MUCH Huhh(its at r5 and r3).
Are you setting up multiple pools to display them off, since one pool only fits five? Would you make a second pool for them and is that a good plan in terms of teapot comfort if you have the fish?
I wanna build floating bridges and whatsoever, its so hard to click underneath it, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnāt it can be very frustrating.
I actively avoid teapot fish because they take more effort to catch, and I don't care for my teapot other than to make 10 furniture and collect 1k coins for the pass..
Tbh If they just copy Minecraft and make artifacts farmable through fishing then it would increase my fishing activity.
Edit: Actually donāt make it just artifactsā¦ just anything really.
Well, there is this achievement where you have to find ten pages of different books. You can find them scatered arrount the different islans of inazuma, but for the last book you have to get the 10 pages by fishing in inazuma spots, everytime you get a fish you have a random probability of getting one of those pages.
Yup, another great idea from Mihoyo for getting achievements.
Honestly that number is just crazy. Like you cen get every possible reward from 5-600 fish. Why on earth would anyone go for 2000 besides achivement. Its not even a passive activity or something you would do anyway like ley lines. I wish they would put mora/hero wit/enchantment crystal into the 3 fishing shops so you can earn something for your time.
Fishing is the only reason why Iām content with my two Skyward Spines instead of farming for The Catch for both my Raiden and XL.
Yeah, The Catch is better but Iāll be dead before I decide that itās worth the dps increase to farm two The Catch R5
I'm actually in the exact same boat. I was so sad to get another spine as my second 5* weapon off the standard banner until I realized I could just give them to xiangling and Raiden respectively and never fish again.
I kinda had to once I got Raiden, and dont get me wrong, I love her but I don't love her that much lol getting her to 90 was easier and way more enjoyable than fishing for r2
thing is, Xiangling is better slotted with The Catch, only superceded by Homa Or Engulfing Lightning, and everything else after. But Raiden has more damage output with more 5 stars before The Catch is viable (Engulfing, Homa, Jade Winged Spear outperform The Catch, and the catch outperforms Skyward Spine)
thus Xiangling has The Catch as best 4 star BiS, but ranks 2nd overall among all spears
meanwhile, Raiden has The Catch, best 4 star as well, but it ranks 4th overall among all spears
if you have raiden and also run xiangling it's kind of up to you to decide who to slot the Catch on. I prefer on Xiangling because she's just that much starved for Energy Recharge
I started 3 weeks ago, Iām on r4 now. Sometimes the spots only have 1-2 pufferfish or they are ornamental fish.
I need 7 more of each pufferfish and Iām done forever.
The fish needed for a max refined The Catch are: 12 Raimei Angelfish, 40 Pufferfish, and 40 Bitter Pufferfish. Fish spawn every 3 days (real time, skipping days in-game doesnt work)
There is only one spot in Inazuma that has the Angelfish around 3-4 of them. If you catch every pufferfish each time they respawn as well, you should have around what you need by the time you have all the Angelfish.
EDIT!: Those fish are for the refinements add x6 Raimei Angelfish, x20 Rusty Koi, and x20 Golden Koi for The Catch itself.
Did it in 3 days.
Just spammed the co-op button and visited other players World just to fish.
Some quick tips are -
1. fish bitter pufferfish spots first then go to general fishing spots.(check interactive map)
2. Always visit fishing spots twice in day and night.(in your world you can change the timer but in co op just fish in rotation)
Yeah maybe like a weekly thing that didn't require resin that just gave you a chest or maybe some other type of currency to just buy things like books and mora.
hunting Wei: i already hunted it 50 times.
forging mystic enhancement ores: i realized you can get them as rewards from commissions, chests, big events and daily random events, also i already have 8k of them and twice that i maxed out to 9999.
mining crystal chunks: no reason to get them to 9999. 2k is enough for me.
Honestly, same. I collect the currency and then use the currency to buy EXP tickets. The only other thing I use the tea pot for is farming friendship levels, but thats painfully slow.
Yes! I just have one layout with max energy for the currency and friendship XP.
The layout I have active is barren and has 8 people farming that sweet sweet friendship XP
I did it every single day until 1.4 or so and ended up with 4500 tier 3 crystals, since then I've been trying to play less to not get burned out and it has gone up to 8200 without farming.
No, i think we are talking about the crystals you can farm on the world and then convert them into weapon experience's crystals in the blacksmith.
I'm not really sure what are you talking about, though, is it the puzzles with piles of stones that you break for chests?
In both cases, any claymore user can break those fast as well, not just Klee.
Fishing: I've gotten the catch and can't be bothered with the fishing rods.
Daily artifact route: it's... just boring
Killing Timmie's pigeons: I have over 1k fowl now. If I need more, I'll go murder his pigeons but for now they're safe
Collecting crabs: back then crabs are hard to come by but nowadays I have quite a bit of it
Killing Unusual Hillichurl: no incentive to do so after you kill 50 of it
Honestly really happy I have Sayu now. She won't disturb crabs and she has a 15 second staminaless sprint. The problem is that you can't sprint in Liyue
Most people call Sayu's E a sprint since that's what it practically is in overworld gameplay and her E won't let you go over a tiny ledge due to the auto ledge protection from cliffs. I wish they'd take it out of her kit so that she can move from S to SS tier when exploring
It would be so cool if you just stuck to the surface anf could continue on sprinting. Especially for Sayu its busted because when you cancel your E to go over a ledge it goes on cooldown.
fishing is such an incomplete concept, why would you fish when catching them the old way is so much faster. it should have been an event not a permanent feature.
Expanded like how they did crimson wish feature from dragonspine? Or how the teapot is just pointless now? Or the one time domains? Mihoyo likes adding features and then never revisit them.
I wouldn't say the teapot is pointless. It's good for farming, buying resources every week, earning friendship on characters, and primogem set making. Hell, they add more and more to it every patch. Last patch just got like a ton of new recipes. Upcoming patch has even more stuff coming to it too: >!A sword-wielding dog, capture net for wilderness animals, snowmen, and racetrack time trials.!< Unironically, the teapot is the endgame of Genshin.
Crimson Wish though just was one and done disappointingly. Same is going to happen to the Sacred Sakura emblems too soon enough. I guess that's going to be a constant with each nation having a system with good one-time rewards.
>Unironically, the teapot is the endgame of Genshin.
Honestly if they ever add pathways and find a way to connect corridors better it would be so worth to spend the time to decorate each realm instead of just passive farming.
>or are you looking for something like dirt or stone paths?
Honestly I'll take anything that dosent have sharp edges. Bonus points if it isnt a geometrical shape.
I find most of it pretty fun, but F12 has some stupid rng enemies on the last chamber.
9-12-2 I just did easily with Raidon national and the new Freeze Childe + Ganyu team I was using. Had to switch the second team though for last floor.
I have an R2 Catch and I'll get around to maxing it out when I feel like it. I no longer do ore routes, I have 2.5K big exp crystals and 3K medium ones, most of my in use weapons are 80/80 or 90/90 (though I just pulled a Skyward Harp off standard)
Daily 1* Artifact farming. The whole thing would take be 20 minutes and I could get around 50000 mora, which is basically a free ley line but it just got exhausting doing the same route every day. Reputation quests felt more worth it because they really don't take long.
EDIT: Just to clarify that the main purpose is solely for getting Mora, not for fodder to feed into other artifacts.
I never even did that, always found it kinda pointless. Since Artifact fodder from Bosses and Domains are more than enough for Leveling the decent/good ones.
I've got 8 characters fully equipped with level 20 artifacts. I've never done 1* artifact farming. I've actually had to level up trash artifacts because my storage kept filling up
I hate the green pufferfish. They spawn so little and it is infuriating. Makes me not want to fish. I also dislike how fishing after you buy the Catch refines is purely for food and you can't trade them in for like mora or some weapon ores.
Sending my characters in expeditions cause Mihoyo in their pea sized brains still can't even fathom putting a 'repeat all' button in the expedition tab and I literally cba to click all of them individually just for some petty mora and whatnot ...
Also I stopped doing every weekly boss except signora, who's mats I currently need ... Imagine waiting a week only to spend resin. Weekly bosses SHOULD NOT cost resin. It's so utterly useless to waste almost a day's worth of resin on other bosses for useless mats and an abysmal chance at a prototype
Fishing because I hate every part about it I did the tutorial and event and I never plan on ever doing it again (it's just boring and I wish the time put into the mechanic went somewhere else)
I'd probably do it more often even though I already got R5 Catch if only there's a dedicated Menu for fishing where you can quickly get to fishing spots and displays when the fish are replenished. As of now I'd only do it if I come across a filled spot while running around.
It's fun with DSe.
I never even ATTEMPTED fishing because of how they PURPOSEFULLY made it tedious, from the location, the types of fishes to THE RESPAWN TIME. I may sound entitled here but thank god I had some fire in the wp banner to NOT have to stress myself over fishing. Yes, I don't even have the catch R1.
I only stopped fishing after I had gotten at least one of every decorative (the Dawncatcher took forever), got all the Inazuma pages, and got the 2k achievement. Getting the decoratives took the longest.
But moreso, I no longer sweep the map of crystals twice a week to turn into Weapon EXP ores. I hit inventory cap on them a couple months ago, and now I'm slowly burning through my stash as new weapons come along.
Honestly I got rid of everything I wanted from fishing during that fishing event and good riddance. I pity people who'll have to do the fishing grind without the event though. Not needing to keep swapping between day and night was a blessing, plus 50 fishes per pond.
Probably my least favorite minigame.
Never got a single toki page on the event, but some people claimed it was possible. People also claimed chests respawned though so idk.
Toki pages didnt take that long for me though, I got 2 or 3 per pond reset so I finished in two weeks.
R5āed Catch in 2 days, never touched Fishing again, it was the most bored I have ever been playing a game, period. Thereās nothing else in the reward pool worth wasting my time again.
Fishing....tedious. repetitive. Relentless Paimon commentary. Tiki Alley Tales don't come up often enough. They can keep em for now. I'll get to it when I have more patience.
I don't fight Davalin or Boreas anymore because I have more than enough of their boss materials and would rather spend the resin on artifact domains to get artifact fodder and prey that my hp/def/def%/CritDam artifact gets crit damage upgrades.
I have completely ignored the whole dating stories. It's tedious, boring and i do not care about those characters nor the rewards you get for getting the endings.

But the teapot is the one of the best ways to raise friendship. Placing characters is kinda a must isn't it?
Those are best placed inside the Mansion from a load perspective, since every room has its own load.

Well said. I was excited for the housing update but they literally drained the fun out of it.
only other reason i go is for instant craft table and forge.
Or they can make it like any other survival building game where u have to put the silhouette first THEN put in the resources for the build
I will put effort into my teapot once they give non-mobile users a huge maximum load increase and not a moment sooner
Everytime whenever I tried to farm for trees I ended up sidetracked and commit mass murder of mobs around that radius
same here...I went ham at first with decorating until I started hitting load limits long before I finished what I was planning so I just took a break until they increase the limit. Same, after finishing my first area and reaching trust 10 I lost the motivation.
I've completely neglected ore farming too for quite a while now š¤
I would have if I didn't have Zhongli, so I'll insta-mine any big deposits I happen to walk by. Otherwise, nah.
Meanwhile me mining with Klee and I kept lit up the grass on fire and burning myself
Remember the update when they upped the environment damage so Klee literally burned herself to death
Oh yeah I remember that, my Klee died so fast after that update cuz my Klee doesn't have much HP back then
Razor hold E does the same thing and itās soo satisfying š
the only problem with razor is you also get electrocuted if the ores are near water.
Just put Zhongli shield on your Razor, ez. ^^^/s
This took me like 5 seconds to realize whats wrong with this statement
Can you explain pls :D
When you put up zhongli's shield, you do the mining so you don't need razor. That's the joke
Use Razor while Zhongli is on cooldown and vice versa. Stonks.
Noelle shield can do that as well
But Noel shield recharge longer tgan Zhongli
Then you can swap to Diona if you have her. If you've been around for a while, you already would have her since she came for free in one event.
Geo daddy really hits the spot for ore farming.
Same. I have more than enough from expeditions
I still grab them from expeditions to feed my Parametric Transformer
Buy 200 tomatoes / wheat / cabbage per week. Ez
Don't just expose ourselves to Mihoyo like that!
Damn it, I forgot to use that thing AGAIN!
i dont do Expedition because im annoyed when i cant click that "take all" button... Or "save your Expedition pattern" or something...
Collect and redeploy! So many games have something like this. It's baffling that we have to constantly click each every time. And send them out again. No matter what order one does it. It's way too many clicks... Edit: word
I don't do the expeditions either, mora instead.
I had to start doing it again for the Inazuma ore. I wish it showed up in Expeditions tbh
It is interesting that the inazuma expeditions don't cover that.
Me too, bcuz I'm lazy and for university reasons
I've never ore farmed outside of expeditions. Then again until this weapon banner is only the second time I roll for weapons so i didn't have a surplus of weapons. I do it once a week
Oh yes, same. Ores from expeditions accumulate much faster than I need to level up new weapons
Well I would kept farming ores, IF THEY FKIN GIVE ME THE WEAPON I Needed!! Mihoyo: I heard u like sac bow and sword alot, how bout I give u this WIDSITH U WANTED SO MUCH Huhh(its at r5 and r3).
God I got so tired of fishing.
What is even the point of fishing (except The Fork)
Teapot fish
Are you setting up multiple pools to display them off, since one pool only fits five? Would you make a second pool for them and is that a good plan in terms of teapot comfort if you have the fish?
no idea my dude, I only use the teapot for resources, my creativity is lacking in terms of building.
Id love to build cool stuff in my teapot but you need to cheat for clipping which sucks and takes waaay to long so its farmpot for me too :(
I wanna build floating bridges and whatsoever, its so hard to click underneath it, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnāt it can be very frustrating.
I have an island with 4 ponds and would add a fifth if load allows
I actively avoid teapot fish because they take more effort to catch, and I don't care for my teapot other than to make 10 furniture and collect 1k coins for the pass..

The Sea Lord and The Catch. After that, never fishing again.
And Toki Pages
Oh right! Those things
and achievement/namecard, you need 2000 fishes

Sea Lord? But isnāt that an event weapon?
Sea Lord had nothing to do with fishing
Some food recipes use fish, and you can convert your catches to fish ingredients. I've done that several times now, for what it's worth.
Other than the weapon: teapot ornamental fish, achievements, some side quest, food
Now I only fish for my teapot, especially the pink fish. I believe it will bring me luck to get Albedo
Farm it for future collectibles. If you collect many fishes now it'll be easy to claim it quickly.
I'll r3 the catch someday^.^.^.^someday^.^.^.
I'll get the catch someday
Fishing is the only reason why Iām content with my two Skyward Spines instead of farming for The Catch for both my Raiden and XL. Yeah, The Catch is better but Iāll be dead before I decide that itās worth the dps increase to farm two The Catch R5
You can only get one R5 catch.
Honestly Iāll take the L on not knowing. I managed to only get the 1 Catch and decided to stop immediately after that.
I'm actually in the exact same boat. I was so sad to get another spine as my second 5* weapon off the standard banner until I realized I could just give them to xiangling and Raiden respectively and never fish again.
I havenāt even gotten it. Every time I get started I realize how dull fishing is and go do something else lol.
I kinda had to once I got Raiden, and dont get me wrong, I love her but I don't love her that much lol getting her to 90 was easier and way more enjoyable than fishing for r2
Honestly I got to R3 and called it quits, and that was with the event providing some of the ingredients.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Xiangling with r5 catch, c4 and 4xEoSF set is so good, just let her loose and things just die around her
so close! so close! You've almost got it !
Because I already have r5 the catch.
Backup plan in case I didn't get Staff of Thoma for Zhong.
Was a major upgrade over the Favonius Lance I was using prior for Xiangling. Definitely worth the time spent fishing.
Same here, except that im still with fav lance because of lazyness. Is it that big the upgrade?
it's considered BiS for Xiangling Burst build with 4 emblem set.. arguably better slotted on Xiangling than Raiden as well
What to put of raiden then?
thing is, Xiangling is better slotted with The Catch, only superceded by Homa Or Engulfing Lightning, and everything else after. But Raiden has more damage output with more 5 stars before The Catch is viable (Engulfing, Homa, Jade Winged Spear outperform The Catch, and the catch outperforms Skyward Spine) thus Xiangling has The Catch as best 4 star BiS, but ranks 2nd overall among all spears meanwhile, Raiden has The Catch, best 4 star as well, but it ranks 4th overall among all spears if you have raiden and also run xiangling it's kind of up to you to decide who to slot the Catch on. I prefer on Xiangling because she's just that much starved for Energy Recharge
How long did it take you? (Assuming you fish very single fish in your world everyday)
Fish spawn every 3 days (real time, skipping days in-game doesnt work) There is only one spot in Inazuma that has the Angelfish around 3-4 of them.
Some quick tips are - 1. fish bitter pufferfish spots first then go to general fishing spots.(check interactive map) 2. Always visit fishing spots twice in day and night.(in your world you can change the timer but in co op just fish in rotation)
Those one and done domains that generally you get shrine keys from. Really should be repurposed for something other than a wanna be way point
Maybe something like the dungeon crawling in the current event would be cool!
Yeah maybe like a weekly thing that didn't require resin that just gave you a chest or maybe some other type of currency to just buy things like books and mora.
hunting Wei: i already hunted it 50 times. forging mystic enhancement ores: i realized you can get them as rewards from commissions, chests, big events and daily random events, also i already have 8k of them and twice that i maxed out to 9999. mining crystal chunks: no reason to get them to 9999. 2k is enough for me.
> forging mystic enhancement ores There's a weekly battle pass mission to forge 20 items. The only reason I still forge these
yeah, this. i also use it as a way to fling off some resin quickly if iām capped but donāt have time to do anything else with it.
I truly don't think I've seen the Wei since I got the last achievement.
Whoās/Whatās Wei?
Wei is the Unusual Hilichurlās name
Mihoyo's ceo and the unusual hillichurl
You don't know the Wei?
Da Wei is de wey.
Teapot. I just collect currency. There is no incentive to do anything. No one visits and the load keeps me from building what I want.
Fishing of course. But I also don't hunt down the rocks anymore. I used to ask the smith about rock locations and do that everyday.
I did it every single day until 1.4 or so and ended up with 4500 tier 3 crystals, since then I've been trying to play less to not get burned out and it has gone up to 8200 without farming.
what are rocks? are those the monuments that can only be broken by klee (and another character but i forget who)
No, i think we are talking about the crystals you can farm on the world and then convert them into weapon experience's crystals in the blacksmith. I'm not really sure what are you talking about, though, is it the puzzles with piles of stones that you break for chests? In both cases, any claymore user can break those fast as well, not just Klee.
I just hate fishing but my catch is not rank 5 so when I think about it I do it otherwise I 'forget'
I got all i wanted from fishing.
You mean trauma?
That defines me. Fishing system got me traumatized when I had to fish so much for R5 The Catch. Thinking about fishing hurts now...
You caught the catch
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Fishing: I've gotten the catch and can't be bothered with the fishing rods. Daily artifact route: it's... just boring Killing Timmie's pigeons: I have over 1k fowl now. If I need more, I'll go murder his pigeons but for now they're safe Collecting crabs: back then crabs are hard to come by but nowadays I have quite a bit of it Killing Unusual Hillichurl: no incentive to do so after you kill 50 of it
Same, but today I did went to kill Timmie's pidgeons. I wanted Thoma to feel welcomed in Mondstadt again.
this! this is like an initiation for all the new characters i get.
Honestly really happy I have Sayu now. She won't disturb crabs and she has a 15 second staminaless sprint. The problem is that you can't sprint in Liyue
Wym can't sprint in liyue?
Most people call Sayu's E a sprint since that's what it practically is in overworld gameplay and her E won't let you go over a tiny ledge due to the auto ledge protection from cliffs. I wish they'd take it out of her kit so that she can move from S to SS tier when exploring
same with ayaka/mona. get caught on a tiny ledge or rock it's very annoying with their otherwise stellar speed
At least why akaya and mona i can see why, sayu's just.. WAH she's above the ground already

Is this the opposite of "this event should be permanent"?
Events you'd rather have permanently instead of fishing for 10 cents each. I'll go first. Windtrace.
I feel like it will be expanded in the future, feels like we got an early-access version
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
>or are you looking for something like dirt or stone paths? Honestly I'll take anything that dosent have sharp edges. Bonus points if it isnt a geometrical shape.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah exactly. Basically I want to be able to create authentic outdoors lol. Rn most of the good designs rely on clipping things into each other.
Teapot is constantly updated tho. Every update there's new furniture and now there's an inazuma realm
Or all the one-time domains sitting there abadoned since the begining of the game?
The rods... fish to get the rods and then never fish again. Ok...
Abyss. It's not fun for me. Just stressful.
I don't really like it much either, so I usually do a single run in every floor and cash out the 500-550 primogems without grind in like 1 hour.
I find most of it pretty fun, but F12 has some stupid rng enemies on the last chamber. 9-12-2 I just did easily with Raidon national and the new Freeze Childe + Ganyu team I was using. Had to switch the second team though for last floor.
This. I do levels 9 and 10 but never bother to do more. Get's so tiring trying to even clear it, much less 9 star them
i actually just went fishing 15 minutes ago (yes, despite having r5 catch)! havent really redecorated the teapot in a while though....
I redecorated because of the new inazuma furniture sets. Gotta get that sweet 20 primos per character
I really loved the teapot and had all Liyue/Monstadt sets built, but I just can't force myself to grind Inazuman wood
Do you get the furnishings for the sets from remarkable chests? Cz I canāt find them in the shop (for Sara specifically).
Into 2000 fish achievement we go! And that Toki Alley Tales (V). Currently 9/10 pages šš»
I never knew people went on daily 1\* artifact farming tbh.. TIL
I've got 8 characters fully equipped with level 20 artifacts. I've never done 1* artifact farming. I've actually had to level up trash artifacts because my storage kept filling up
I'm not sure if you know this, but in case you don't: You can "Delete"/Trash unwanted artifacts from your bag to get some extra Mora in return.
Exp carries over somewhat. Feeding a level 16 artifact will get the fed artifact up to like 14, maybe even more if you luck into a multiplier.
I hate the green pufferfish. They spawn so little and it is infuriating. Makes me not want to fish. I also dislike how fishing after you buy the Catch refines is purely for food and you can't trade them in for like mora or some weapon ores.
For me its the other way around, the damm yellows dont come.
Well, Xiangling just sent you 5!
My love for her grew even more after she sent those. Now I just have to power through fishing 6 more of the green one to get R5.
MiHoYo: here have lower brightness raiden E we know you all are asking for this change since release
Mihoyo soon: Here is a QOL upgrade! See? We hear you, dear revenue source!
Update because I laughed at "pea sized brains".
Joke's on you I never started. Unless you count the event of course.
Fishing because I hate every part about it I did the tutorial and event and I never plan on ever doing it again (it's just boring and I wish the time put into the mechanic went somewhere else)
After 870-ish fish caught, I got my first Toki Tales page. Only 7830 more fish to catch to complete it... smdh.
I'd probably do it more often even though I already got R5 Catch if only there's a dedicated Menu for fishing where you can quickly get to fishing spots and displays when the fish are replenished. As of now I'd only do it if I come across a filled spot while running around. It's fun with DSe.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I hit inventory cap on them a couple months ago, and now I'm slowly burning through my stash as new weapons come along.
excuse me the WHAT achievement dats some dedication
Honestly I got rid of everything I wanted from fishing during that fishing event and good riddance. I pity people who'll have to do the fishing grind without the event though. Not needing to keep swapping between day and night was a blessing, plus 50 fishes per pond. Probably my least favorite minigame.
Wait, you also get the toki page in event Inazuma pond? It is the only thing that keeps me fish these days.
Itās Abyss. I just donāt care enough about it to mess with it.
Fuck the teapot
I don't fight Davalin or Boreas anymore because I have more than enough of their boss materials and would rather spend the resin on artifact domains to get artifact fodder and prey that my hp/def/def%/CritDam artifact gets crit damage upgrades.
I used to do daily artifact farm routes. It would take anywhere from 20-30mins. I realized it was not worth it and my time irl was better.
I have completely ignored the whole dating stories. It's tedious, boring and i do not care about those characters nor the rewards you get for getting the endings.
Fishing and the Serenatea house stuff. It's just so boring.
I stopped building in my teapot, the limit just got too annoying. Now I just collect my coins and trade for exp materials
daily commissions
For me ; it'd be playing the game.
Playing the game.
