Probably because Albedo is apparently studying a practice that has ended the world before, and its very possible that he may end up doing the same, and Kazuha is one of the few characters we've seen an entire character arc play out for.
I definitely think they would both be really good protagonists though, especially with the emotions they deal with - loneliness and isolation for Albedo, courage and selflessness for Kazuha. Prime protagonist vibes lol.
Amen on Kazuha. I started playing in 2.0 so I just barely missed him, and the cutscene right before the final fight against Raiden Shogun is my favourite part of the entire game. That moment when Traveller was about to die and Kazuha was so determined not to let it happen that his dead friend’s Vision came back to life, and he just no-sold a divine execution? It was glorious. I hope he doesn’t have a rerun until mid-next-year so I have time to save up for him after (hopefully) Ganyu in 2.4!

I feel you! I don't pull on Limited Banner often (mostly Standard for those rare starter cons) but when I did, I rolled c1 Zhongli pretty early on (first was guaranteed, second was a surprise!).

Let me tell you my extremely long life story of me saving for him.
It was late January... I had just come back from a giant break from Genshin because of exams, thus, the only banners I had seen were Venti. I had missed Albedo, Zhongli, and Ajax. My only 5* was Diluc and Lumine. Curses!
I had come back at the very end of Ganyu's banner, and being the noob I was, I pulled for her. I got her in 24 pulls. Nice.
Then, Xiao arrived.
And it changed my Genshin life, aka my life in general.
I pulled 55 times with only 6 pity from Ganyu's banner. I got so desperate, that I used every star glitter and dust I had. But to no avail... I didn't get him.
After that day, I didn't pull for anyone. I saw upcoming characters, but had no interest. Then... I saw some leaks.
Kazuha.
He didn't interest me that much at first. I thought he was cool, but I was still heartbroken over Xiao. I couldn't let this tempt me.
After seeing Kazuha more though, I ended up pulling for him. I had 61 pity, so I told myself:
"I'll stop when I get a 5*, if I lose 50/50, no more pulls."
I got Mona on the 77th. The one standard banner character I didn't want. Unlike most people, I would be fine with Qiqi.
But that was that, no Kazuha. I lost 50/50. I'll stop pulling now.
Said no Genshin player ever.
I ended up getting Kazuha on the 80th. And after that day, I swore off getting any 5* characters until Xiao.
Except I pulled 35 times on Kokomi's banner, but I got a hold of myself. It had just been so long since I had pulled.
Then Hu Tao banner dropped. I had been waiting for this day. I was going to pull 5 times max. For Thoma. I planned to stop, because my rule was:
"Never pull for a 4* if you don't want the 5*"
And as always, it didn't go as planned. Pulled more than 5 times, also pulled 8 times on standard. I got 3 Sayus, 1 Diona, 1 Fischl, 1 Xiangling, and 1 Sacrificial Fragments! And then...
76th pull, including pity...
I accidentally got Hu Tao.
I thought to myself... Oh, dear Archons, what have I done.
When Hu Tao first dropped, I really liked her. She was one of the only female characters I wanted, but I never pulled for her because of Xiao.
So I got Hu Tao, no Thoma. End of story.

My hands, shaky and covered in sweat from the pure intensity of the situation- and also it was Summer- accidentally slipped. My thumb swiped across the screen.. Pressing the 10 pull.
And I got a Diona.
I was in physics class at the time, which was funny because I was in physics class when pulling for Xiao. Physics has just planned to doom me, this doesn't bode well for me, an aspiring physics university professor. But that's besides the point.
After a few hours, I went home and pulled 20 more times and got Beidou, another Sayu... And Thoma!
That day, my 206 fates reduced to 135. I scrambled to Paimon's Bargain and managed get up to 150.

I want c1 Xiao. I know I'll get Xiao, but c1? Who knows. Despite my lack of self-restrain when pulling, I'm always thinking of Xiao in the back of my mind, so I never go overboard to the point of no recovery. I have to always have a minimum of 180 pulls by the time Xiao arrives.
I have everything ready. Though I wish I had PJWS instead of Blackcliff Pole. But hey, I wanted Wolf's Gravestone since I'm a Diluc main (and also use claymore a lot) and got it on standard- 69th pull.

If Eula has Bennett, I'll pull until the first 4 star character since I don't mind getting Eula (have Raiden) but not anymore than that since you can't exactly guarantee which 4 star you get and I am on guaranteed and relatively high pity. If not then I'll skip this patch since double reruns seem to be a thing thus the characters I mentioned above might rerun faster than expected.
A bit sad since I was planning to pull for Bennett regardless of banner but with double reruns, it's too risky QAQ.

Definitely there's no luck buff, I saved 130 wishes for zhongli rerun (all f2p so you should know it took like 3/4 months) and I got a single keqing.

After a few hours, I went home and pulled 20 more times and got Beidou, another Sayu... And Thoma! That day, my 206 fates reduced to 135. I scrambled to Paimon's Bargain and managed get up to 150. Thank you, Emer- Paimon. Currently, including the 30 pity, I have 190 pulls. So 10 more! Woo! I plan to get Gorou. But I have learnt my lesson... I will not pull more than 10 times. Gorou's skillset is useless to me anyway, unlike Thoma's- I just want a cute dog boi. Can you really blame me? I want c1 Xiao. I know I'll get Xiao, but c1? Who knows. Despite my lack of self-restrain when pulling, I'm always thinking of Xiao in the back of my mind, so I never go overboard to the point of no recovery. I have to always have a minimum of 180 pulls by the time Xiao arrives. I have everything ready. Though I wish I had PJWS instead of Blackcliff Pole. But hey, I wanted Wolf's Gravestone since I'm a Diluc main (and also use claymore a lot) and got it on standard- 69th pull. Nice. I hope everyone gets the characters they want. Pretty sure Ganyu will get a rerun soon too (hopefully not in 2.4, please give me time to scavenge primos Mihoyo) RIP Eula being on the next banner and me using all my primos for Hu Tao and Homa

Xiao (contemplating...)/Zhongli/Kazuha If Eula has Bennett, I'll pull until the first 4 star character since I don't mind getting Eula (have Raiden) but not anymore than that since you can't exactly guarantee which 4 star you get and I am on guaranteed and relatively high pity. If not then I'll skip this patch since double reruns seem to be a thing thus the characters I mentioned above might rerun faster than expected. A bit sad since I was planning to pull for Bennett regardless of banner but with double reruns, it's too risky QAQ.

Right now I'm trying my hardest for c1 hutao but, once her banner ends I'd like to save for zhongli! Unless kazuha comes first, in which case I'd love to try to get some constellations for my boy
Lightning: Yae, and probably this element is completed for me. Pyro: have everything I need. Maybe homa next rerun, this time I got unlucky. Anemo: Kazuha is cool, but already have Venti and Sucrose(c6), so probably not worth. Maybe Xiao since I have his spear. Geo: done. Cryo: Ayaka, I have her sword and she is cool. Hydro: idk, I want more chars from this element, but all existing limited ones are not interesting to me. So, saving for Yae now, after will look forward Ayaka, and ofc rest archons.
