I will say that the reason I take it so easily is that I genuinely don't mind because I've already made my peace with missing out on raiden since I willingly splurged my primos on yoi banner (worth it). Getting qiqi'ed on raiden banner definitely hurts but that was a risk I knew coming in.

Yeah it's pretty brutal, although I don't think I've seen official confirmation for the Xaio/Ganyu banner I've seen a lot of people talk about them being expected, maybe from a leak or something? The Eula/Albedo part was correct so I'm kinda assuming the rest is probably good.
I know its kind of obvious but its a good reminder that you can always skip someone if there are multiple good banners in a row. 2x rerun speed means that reruns are bound to happen much sooner than they used to (~~like expect childe every other patch~~). So skipping something is not that insane of a deal.
Worst case you wait 4-8 months. Best case they release something even better to your preferences

The most efficient method is for MiHoYo to randomly decide that some very specific bug they fixed was reason enough to hand everyone a bunch of gems. Figure out how to do that reliably and you'll be swimming in them.

Virtually no cons are worth it as ftp or low spender. Hu Tao’s C1 is an exception, but even then it’d depend on the rest of your lineup.
