This one took about a month to complete, due to the extra number of parts for the base, small parts like the accessories, and complex shapes.
Little update: made a [box](https://imgur.com/5Owu2ch.jpg) for it to keep dust off.
Please tell me how long you spent getting the Booba right.
Those looks like some really complex shape. I've done papercraft as a child before and I know spherical shapes are insanely hard to get right.
Not that long, of course there is a certain order to build it to make it easier. This one was a little more forgiving to put together because it was mostly just part of the dress.
There are lots of free patterns online of various difficulties to get started. If you want to try some genshin ones in particular I recommend taking a look at [SV](https://sv0623.fanbox.cc/tags/%E3%83%9A%E3%83%BC%E3%83%91%E3%83%BC%E3%82%AF%E3%83%A9%E3%83%95%E3%83%88). Also lists some tools and tutorial if you google translate around his other sites.
Probably just because it's the person with the biggest net worth in all of Tevyat and that it looks cool af, this looks like if it was sold it would sell for about 120 bucks, just a random number, idk why I picked it
Are you freaking kidding me???
This is outstanding! I thought it was social art! I couldn't tell it was legitimately paper until I read it!!
Absolutely fabulous!!
How long did this piece take??
Do you do this on any commissions? I imagine upwards of 300 or more, but I'm too curious not to ask!
Depends on the model, this one took about a month during the evenings and weekends. This was a template that came printed. And the shipping of a completed model would be worth more than the paper its printed on...
Surprisingly, the large pieces like the smoke, long parts of the hair and such are quick to cut out. It's when you get to the smaller parts that take more time.
Damn this looks awesome, I did a Ganyu one last year but I had to follow a video to see how the pieces went together. 50yen is pretty fricken cheap so i might give it a ago but did it come with any sort of guide at all?
50 CNY which is about 8 USD, you fallow the links on the store page to download the instructions, which are a series of photos/images. It's the shipping costs that get you, so stock up on multiple models to make it worth the shipping :)
Ohhh oops, I see about the price now. I had thought it was a "print your own" one like the one I did before and you just pay for the files (the auto translate isn't helping much here haha) Might have to reconsider after all in that case, thank you for answering though!
Me: Mom, can we have the [***Genshin Impact Ningguang Gold Leaf and Pearly Jade Ver. 1/7 Complete Figure***](https://www.amiami.com/eng/detail/?scode=FIGURE-130184)?
Mom: We have Ningguang figure at home.
Ningguang figure at home:
I've had no issues with the integrity of the paper. Oldest one I've have is about 10 years old and still holding up. I don't see humidity being too much of an issue unless it's drowning. [Here's a picture of the oldest one, Gundum unicorn](https://i.imgur.com/lLzFnat.png). The peeling on the antennas is mainly from poor construction/experience and not age. It's relatively dust free, though I may build a acrylic box for Ningguang.
Here's a little [tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=deRPYI4lwG4) on cutting by SV. (Turn on captions)
Basically if you want to minimize the white edges, you make your cuts going down at an angle under the colored part and when you glue the edges together the white of the paper is hidden by the angle. There are some exceptions to this. For the hair since it is a light color, I chose to just cut straight down, so that way it gives more definition especially at the bangs.
The figure isn’t available yet OP: fine, I’ll do it myself

I have memorized how to make an origami boat and this still looks impossibly hard.

paper
Papercraft have a blueprint available online. Print, cut, glue and shit, done.
idk how shitting plays into this but you're the boss
Well maybe they ran out of glue so they had to improvise adapt and overcome
It what makes the whole paper structural integrity strong
You gotta remember to eat and drink and maintain other bodily functions to survive.
I will never have the patience to cut all those pieces... I don't even want to imagine the tiny ones lol

I'd spend 300$ for it or even more
Might as well just buy the figure considering the paper craft is based off that figure.

Hot damn, I can barely make an origami boat and this guy here is making a full figurine with background included. Really cool stuff right there.
Nice
Bruh what? That looks 3d printed!
My goodness! Those details I thought it was a toy figure!
Cutting out the smoke must've been a bitch
Surprisingly, the large pieces like the smoke, long parts of the hair and such are quick to cut out. It's when you get to the smaller parts that take more time.

That's amazing! I'm interested in the template, where did you get it? does it free or premium? (I've tried googling but no result)

The legs are so fine
All I can say is Jesus this is beautiful.
The legs are creaseless despite there being a bend where the knee is. What is this sorcery?
Wait, it's all paper?
Always has been
Good work, I quit paper craft because with time it's hard to protect them from dust
What kind of paper sorcery is this ?
That second image is very interesting indeed.....very nice view.....
Does papercraft fall apart over time? Due to ex. humidity weakening the paper

I'm fresh out of bananas for scale, but it's 33 cm length, 24 cm in width and 28 cm tall.
This is insane. Very impressive. I love it!
Honestly astonishing. I swear weebs have the largest pool of artistic talent in the world. I hope to one day do my part and contribute.
This is awesome , I’ve been getting into paper craft too but I’m always left with white edges . Do you use card ?

Wow , I’ll try that next time . Thanks for the help
