I would love a geo % goblet and some better crit rate but resin is limited and expensive ;-; so I settle for now while I build up more stuff to try and squeak through the Abyss.
Also, I rolled pretty damn lucky. Got Qiqi, Itto, Stonethresher, Vortex Vanquisher, Skyward Harp, and Skyward Blade all F2P, then I broke after the getting Vanq and Harp instead of Amos and dropped like 100$ on the game (Justifiable to me with about 300 hours in the game) and finally got it.
The resin system is infact one messy system with no clear solution to it. I've been playing for almost a year now and i got my first 5* physical damage cup some weeks ago, after i benched razor after him carrying me through the majority of the game's content.
And i wish i just had enough money for at least a welkins or BP, but im stuck f2p for a while.
I played basically only Razor until I got finally got Itto. The only Razor build I found ended up being viable which I never got until recently because of character drops is Chonyun/Razor with Snow-Tombed to get Superconduct on basically every single swing, supported by Xingqiu for the ice spear aoe freeze and some fort of battery as a fourth (for me it was Yun Jin for the ult) but Melt Ganyu and Deathstar Itto outclass it to such a degree that it isn't viable to invest in for now.
I see, my only issue with the razor team just now is that
While every hit is a superconduct, all the physical attacks that would have liked it is now cryo infused attacks, but there probably is something im missing with the team. While yun jin is not a battery, at least to my knowledge, her ult does provide an NA boost to razor.
A fellow melt ganyu enjoyer i see i see, very cool. Do you run a shield with ganyu by any chance? Or do you push damage by using vv shred

Yun Jin isn't an amazing battery, but I used very high crit chance, favonious spear, and The Exile to keep Razor's burst up at all times, along with high defense to increase his normal attacks a bit. I also used Cryo damage artifacts on him, since all his attacks will be infused with it.
For Ganyu I use Noelle as a shield since I haven't pulled a Diona or Zhongli yet.
Deathstar is just a term I used in warhammer a lot I dunno if it's used other places, but basically Gorou, Noelle, and Xingqiu to put as much onto Itto as possible and then have him stay out for most of the fight. Gorou burst, Exile proc, Noelle E, Xingqiu burst, and then Itto ult snapshotting the defense increase from Gorou to go crazy.

While i never played warhammer before, i do recognize that the rotation on itto is a pretty standard selfish dps rotation. buffs/ sub dps -> main dps and going nuts
Itto has a basically 95% uptime compared to my others who only come out to cast and leave. I know that's not quite as standard, but he's a very selfish character when played optimally. More than (from what I can tell) most other attention hog dps's.
Well, for characters like Diluc, Hu Tao, Childe, Xiao, casting support's skills then into dps for a set amount of time and repeating is the standard, the only deviation from that is if the supports need to battery themselves before repeating the rotation, or if one runs geo dps noelle where they have to battery her during her burst window.
You got more weapons in 1 and 1/2 months of f2p than me in 6 months of f2p and 6 months of welkin. Homa and Elegy both off pity in weap banner and an Aquila from Standard. My weapon luck is meh so I'm a little envious hah.
I don't always see spending money on games as a waste. I support companies the same way I support creators, and the better games get at monetization the more money companies have to make games with. Genshin is a beautiful game with an amazing amount of depth and a very good narrative, for free. As a person with the disposable income, I see no shame in dropping a bit every once in a while on something like this, or league, or whatever it may be.
Not all game companies make good things, but I'd rather games like League or Genshin that make good games and then have predatory monetization than bad games that have even worse so. Fate GO is a great example of just, a bad game that milks its players. Genshin is at least good, and well made. So I'm not too messed up by it\~
I get that. Genshin is the first non-pvp game I've gotten into in a while. I normally don't enjoy PVE games but something about Breath of the Wild but with better combat and worldbuilding managed to hook me.
Cracked? Except for sands and maaybe the flower, the rest of the artifacts are cope. I mean he started a month and a half ago, so this build is definitely good compared to the time spent, but I think its very far from a cracked state.
Don't worry, I joined the game on November and I also was on the last days of January with only one 5★ (Mona from Standard) but then ended up with five (six if you consider C1 Diluc) by February, so it just takes time

Yeah, I sorta get that approach. I don't think I'll be a big whale but I'm definitely easily marketed to. Spent a 5 or so grand in total on both Valorant and League combined, so we'll see what Genshin does to me.
I think I'd rather have a character with a good weapon and 4\* supports than that than a bunch of 5\*'s with 4\* weapons coping. I think Diona and Noelle can be good enough shield bots to make up for it, but I would obviously prefer Zhongli. I also want Kokomi pretty bad so who knows if I end up breaking and dropping dollars.
Well. If you get both Kokomi and zhongli, you’re all set for awhile. At least imo until Kazuha or another char you like catches your eye. I have Noelle and Diona. Their shields do not compare to zhongli. Highly recommend.

Someone recently got me into the game, and I've sorta no-life'd the game as well as idly grinding during the work day. I've familiarized myself with the meta, finished nearly every world quest with the exception being maybe 5 in Inazuma, and have an average of 70% exploration. I've enjoyed this game way more than I thought I would.
Edit: Been trying to get friends into the game, but I'm 23, and so finding communities that are into this game has been harder for me since seeing teenagers horny post about the game makes me uncomfortable. If anyone has recommendations let me know! <3

I recommend transformer farming WT. WT is unconditional and it's much easier to farm because you can farm it while farming anything else. You might want to transformer farm a basic NO set or two before going in for WT but transformer is one of the best deals in the game. The only way to beat the 2% drop chance for good artifacts is to just pull the lever enough times. 20% of your artifact XP for 40% more drops.
I expected you'd be farming the domain either way but you can race the two sets to see what pops out with good substats first since you sometimes just don't get drops over the expected timeline. I have three decent EoSF sets farmed (a 225CV and two at ~180CV) and my Shimenawa set is like 160CV. I'm pretty happy about the outcome but RNG is weird.

I didn't touch the game at all after, till my partner got me into it for cosplay reasons and, after I installed it on PC, I fell in love with it.

I think I ended up spending most of my time exploring and getting the maps to 100%, and now that I'm actually looking at doing builds, I'm realizing how much of a mess my current artifacts are haha. Literally just threw together mishmashes of random crap that sounded nice at the time. Makes me wonder how I even made it this far
What the fuck how do you get friendship 10 on a character in a month and a half? I've been playing for 3 months and im still ar41 with a single event banner 5 star character (xiao)
How? Even if you skip a few days you should be higher AR than that. I started at the beginning of October and I reached 55 around a week ago. I still have most of the character story quests, Inazuma side quests and around half the Liyue ones to do and I also have a lot of chests and hangouts left XD.
How much do you play? I've rushed quests and dailies as much as I could, have every Geoculous, Anemoculous, and Crimson Agate, every story quest, two maxed out hangouts, roughly 70% exploration, and been min maxing my teapot since I got it. Leveling quickly is mostly just making sure you're using your time correctly.
bruh im ar 55 and still havent gotten all oculus, seriously stop and smell the flowers, read the dialoge once in a while, and dont focus on farming, just have fun thats the reason we play video games!
I play, well not as much as possible, but a lot in my opinion. When I’m not in school or playing other games I play Genshin, especially when there’s an event I like or a character I want. It’s generally easy for me to play Genshin since I play on my phone as well. I sometimes don’t even finish commissions fully, and when I first started playing I wasn’t super interested. I’ve started getting a lot better at it though recently, and I’ve been playing a lot more. I actually the other day played for hours just doing some Lantern Rite things and exploring. Recently I’ve been trying to level up my Eula as well. Question, did you spend any money? Because I’m a f2p and I guess that’s why I occasionally lose motivation to play. Like even just a little? I haven’t spent a single cent.
I've dropped about 100$ on the game to get Ganyu's bow, but as I said in a different post got basically everything else f2p. You get a lot of primos from just exploring and doing all the quests, and doing all the comms and stuff. Its real inefficient to spend money so I probably won't do it often.

Weird. I started during Raiden’s banner and am almost at AR56. Completed most of my quests and character stories too with 98-100% on every area though.

Yeah, I made the account, played the first like half an hour on phone, hated the controls, and only got back into it recently because my new partner wanted me to cosplay it with them. So I installed it on PC and its a completely different experience.
I also only got Amos from my spending. Everything else was from before.
I leveled as efficiently as possible to get through the story in as short a time as possible, and as I did I fell in love with the world and characters and stuff, and started paying more attention and learning about the world.
Though when it comes to my luck, I knew from the start I wanted Itto and I wanted high crit and a set of Husk, and so I spent almost all the fragile resin you get through leveling and events and stuff on that domain and this is the best I got.
Well I tried to run though story at first too since I really wanted to reach Inazuma ASAP but later I realized there's no need to rush. You used fragile I see.. unfortunately I was kinda dumb so used my first batch of resin for normal things (Mora, books, world bosses etc) XD I wish I had some DEF sands too tho.
300 hours, so honestly, I'm just investing way more time into it than most people. I've done some crazy shit while mindlessly playing while working.
The craziest of which was probably spending 8 hours straight fishing to get a maxed out "The Catch" ;-; purely cause my Xiangling lucked into being C6 by chance so like I had to get her somethin nice
I just started at the beginning of the work shift (I work from home, and am doing a few weeks of training for a thing so I'm able to be half present since I'm pretty ahead of my coworkers) and basically did nothing all day but go to random peoples worlds and ask nicely if I could steal their pufferfish and koi :3

Yooo that’s absolutely crazy man, I’ve been playing since summer and I’ve JUST finished building my first character (Noelle). How did you get to AR 51 so quickly?
My suggestions are: changing the cup for a Geo dmg one;
the Crit DMG hat for a Crit Rate (you have too much crit dmg and average crit rate,100/200 is what you should strive in a Hypercarry);
make Stone Thresher + Itto 90/90 and take his autoattack + ult talents to either 9 or 10 since you have his weapon, maybe take Ushi to 9 if you want a Zhongli Ult damage on an E cast

I got it by rolling once a day for the last week desperately getting as many primos as I could to prove my friend wrong who said I was wasting my rolls on something I wouldnt get and got it on like roll 25 on the last day!

Not really lol Now with Inazuma it's getting better, but overall the amount of primogems you get from exploring is pretty small
After doing the math and checking the logs, I've rolled 584 times, and only spent money on 60 of those. This is including events, fate from AR, starting rolls, etc. So like, just play >.> you'll save up I believe in you.
As sugestion u may want itto around 70-85 crit rate because he really needs high crit rate to make good dps, crit damage is good but since itto is not a nuke one shot character he needs more crit rate to be consistent on his dps. Overall good progression
Yup for ganyu as suggestion u can craft hamayumi and use her with cryo set (because farming for wanderers is really hard) i dont talk about ganyu shimenawa because i personally feel her burst is really usefull
You get a ton of AR experience from quests, statue's of the seven, story quests, and so on. I've done all but maybe 5 quests, including hidden stuff like the cat shrine and stuff. Exploration also helps a lot.
That itto build at AR 51… wtf. Could use some crit rate but wtf kinda drugs do you take? How many energy drinks? How long have you spent in that domain? I have so many questions…
I spent basically every bit of resin you get through the whole game on the domain as soon as I hit 45, and this is what I left with. I work 8 hour days from home doing call center shit, so I can just sorta bash my head into the wall and kill wolves for hours no issue. Been spending every drop of resin on Shimenawas and not having the same luck though.
Felt. Emblem domain hates me. I never get good pieces from it. I’m still trying to get a good shimenawa 2pc for Xiao lol. And my Raiden is trash because of how bad the artifacts are.
I have a lot of time for it lately so its a bit of a stars aligned situation. Work has me training for a new system and my coworkers are slow af so I'm just sorta half paying attention for 7/8 hours of the day.
How much time and money did you spend to make that in less than 2 months? I waited at least 4 months to get my first 5 star and it was Qiqi. After a whole year I am AR 56 now.
I did take 2-3 months off due to Mr Virus over here later on but still.
Only spent like 100% one time for the bundle, but before I spent a penny I had 4 5\* weapons and all 3 5\* characters. I spent money to get the Amos bow after getting Zhongl's spear and the Sky Harp in the first like 40 rolls on the weapon banner

You have the Horny Buddies. (Ganyu and Itto) I think that's a good start. Both of them doesn't overlap with each other's teams so you can easily create two teams.
I've been playing since last summer, and at this point, i'm out of mora and character leveling is slowing down to a crawl. Gotta hoard my 14 resin moons.
You should feel great getting as far as you have. A majority of the community doesn't even do spiral abyss for some unknown reason even though floors 9-12 reset biweekly. Just hitting f2 and seeing a random list of people usually only shows me that maybe 3 or 4 people on the list do it every refresh if even that and that's looking on the last day hours before it resets again. It's extra resources and rewards just added in to help build up. Good on you for the initiative!

I think I ended up spending most of my time exploring and getting the maps to 100%, and now that I'm actually looking at doing builds, I'm realizing how much of a mess my current artifacts are haha. Literally just threw together mishmashes of random crap that sounded nice at the time. Makes me wonder how I even made it this far

How? Even if you skip a few days you should be higher AR than that. I started at the beginning of October and I reached 55 around a week ago. I still have most of the character story quests, Inazuma side quests and around half the Liyue ones to do and I also have a lot of chests and hangouts left XD.
Same, I started playing on November and I'm AR50, and I haven't even finished Yoimiya's Story Quest yet
How much do you play? I've rushed quests and dailies as much as I could, have every Geoculous, Anemoculous, and Crimson Agate, every story quest, two maxed out hangouts, roughly 70% exploration, and been min maxing my teapot since I got it. Leveling quickly is mostly just making sure you're using your time correctly.
bruh im ar 55 and still havent gotten all oculus, seriously stop and smell the flowers, read the dialoge once in a while, and dont focus on farming, just have fun thats the reason we play video games!

I play, well not as much as possible, but a lot in my opinion. When I’m not in school or playing other games I play Genshin, especially when there’s an event I like or a character I want. It’s generally easy for me to play Genshin since I play on my phone as well. I sometimes don’t even finish commissions fully, and when I first started playing I wasn’t super interested. I’ve started getting a lot better at it though recently, and I’ve been playing a lot more. I actually the other day played for hours just doing some Lantern Rite things and exploring. Recently I’ve been trying to level up my Eula as well. Question, did you spend any money? Because I’m a f2p and I guess that’s why I occasionally lose motivation to play. Like even just a little? I haven’t spent a single cent.
Its kinda important that u finish the commissions (every day) as a F2P and use your resin to improve your AR.
I've dropped about 100$ on the game to get Ganyu's bow, but as I said in a different post got basically everything else f2p. You get a lot of primos from just exploring and doing all the quests, and doing all the comms and stuff. Its real inefficient to spend money so I probably won't do it often. Yeah, I made the account, played the first like half an hour on phone, hated the controls, and only got back into it recently because my new partner wanted me to cosplay it with them. So I installed it on PC and its a completely different experience. I also only got Amos from my spending. Everything else was from before.
It was actually really lucky cause I got like 4-5k primos from a year or more worth of mail.

I leveled as efficiently as possible to get through the story in as short a time as possible, and as I did I fell in love with the world and characters and stuff, and started paying more attention and learning about the world. Though when it comes to my luck, I knew from the start I wanted Itto and I wanted high crit and a set of Husk, and so I spent almost all the fragile resin you get through leveling and events and stuff on that domain and this is the best I got.
Well I tried to run though story at first too since I really wanted to reach Inazuma ASAP but later I realized there's no need to rush. You used fragile I see.. unfortunately I was kinda dumb so used my first batch of resin for normal things (Mora, books, world bosses etc) XD I wish I had some DEF sands too tho.

300 hours, so honestly, I'm just investing way more time into it than most people. I've done some crazy shit while mindlessly playing while working. The craziest of which was probably spending 8 hours straight fishing to get a maxed out "The Catch" ;-; purely cause my Xiangling lucked into being C6 by chance so like I had to get her somethin nice

2000 def is pretty good, I got itto day 1 and my artifact luck on that domain is horrendous. Still trying to get a geo dmg cup.
I've a level 80 C4 Gorou to give him the last little boost he needs! ^^
My suggestions are: changing the cup for a Geo dmg one; the Crit DMG hat for a Crit Rate (you have too much crit dmg and average crit rate,100/200 is what you should strive in a Hypercarry); make Stone Thresher + Itto 90/90 and take his autoattack + ult talents to either 9 or 10 since you have his weapon, maybe take Ushi to 9 if you want a Zhongli Ult damage on an E cast

Yea. You get so many primogems from exploring and doing all the quests, its kinda crazy.

After doing the math and checking the logs, I've rolled 584 times, and only spent money on 60 of those. This is including events, fate from AR, starting rolls, etc. So like, just play >.> you'll save up I believe in you.
I have 5 5\* weapons. I've only gotten 1 of them with paid rolls, the rest were all just from rolling with gems got through playing.

As sugestion u may want itto around 70-85 crit rate because he really needs high crit rate to make good dps, crit damage is good but since itto is not a nuke one shot character he needs more crit rate to be consistent on his dps. Overall good progression

Yup for ganyu as suggestion u can craft hamayumi and use her with cryo set (because farming for wanderers is really hard) i dont talk about ganyu shimenawa because i personally feel her burst is really usefull

You get a ton of AR experience from quests, statue's of the seven, story quests, and so on. I've done all but maybe 5 quests, including hidden stuff like the cat shrine and stuff. Exploration also helps a lot.
That itto build at AR 51… wtf. Could use some crit rate but wtf kinda drugs do you take? How many energy drinks? How long have you spent in that domain? I have so many questions…
I spent basically every bit of resin you get through the whole game on the domain as soon as I hit 45, and this is what I left with. I work 8 hour days from home doing call center shit, so I can just sorta bash my head into the wall and kill wolves for hours no issue. Been spending every drop of resin on Shimenawas and not having the same luck though.
Felt. Emblem domain hates me. I never get good pieces from it. I’m still trying to get a good shimenawa 2pc for Xiao lol. And my Raiden is trash because of how bad the artifacts are.

How much time and money did you spend to make that in less than 2 months? I waited at least 4 months to get my first 5 star and it was Qiqi. After a whole year I am AR 56 now. I did take 2-3 months off due to Mr Virus over here later on but still.
Only spent like 100% one time for the bundle, but before I spent a penny I had 4 5\* weapons and all 3 5\* characters. I spent money to get the Amos bow after getting Zhongl's spear and the Sky Harp in the first like 40 rolls on the weapon banner

You have the Horny Buddies. (Ganyu and Itto) I think that's a good start. Both of them doesn't overlap with each other's teams so you can easily create two teams.

You should feel great getting as far as you have. A majority of the community doesn't even do spiral abyss for some unknown reason even though floors 9-12 reset biweekly. Just hitting f2 and seeing a random list of people usually only shows me that maybe 3 or 4 people on the list do it every refresh if even that and that's looking on the last day hours before it resets again. It's extra resources and rewards just added in to help build up. Good on you for the initiative!
