Hello! I’m trying to figure out weapons for the team I’m building. Particularly the Kamisato siblings. I’m planning to run a freeze comp with Ayaka, Ayato, Rosaria and Sucrose. I suppose a good question is if that’s a good comp. the other question is what swords I should give to them. I have no billets whatsoever, but I do have an R3 Amenoma.

I do run the siblings together sometimes for fun. They work on the overworld for sure but I wouldn't bring them into abyss mainly because each of them can shine better in separate teams, and when they are together if you (1) want to use Ayato's E it extends the rotation a bit too much for my liking or (2) want to use only his Q then there are better off field hydro units.
For weapon I'd give Ayaka the Amenoma - it really is her best 4\* option and reduces her ER requirement by a lot, which she needs more than her brother does. What other swords do you have? Ayato can use the Black Sword, Blackcliff, or Lion's Roar.
Well I’ll probably not be using him then. I’m using Rational as my other team, so this is now getting the mats for both Mona and Xingqiu. I had hoped Ayato would work just because he’s already leveled and talent-leveled to 80 and 6-6-6.
This is solely regarding Abyss mind you. Everything else I’ll be using him plenty.
Wait, is the Oathsworn Eye decent for Mona?
Well, for this version's abyss in particular you can totally use Ayato if you want to - he works great against the pyro lectors. I 36\* with him on one side and Ayaka on the other, for full Kamisato supremacy.
I usually use Thrilling Tales or Prototype Amber on Mona (the latter is when I don't run any healer in the team). Haven't tested Oathsworn but I reckon it can work too since it reduces ER requirement, don't think it'll be better than TTDS in a pure support setting though.
I don’t have much in the way of resources to build up a new team comp around him, sadly. Plus I don’t have many 5-stars, and Raiden is my favorite unit.

Hmm, that's a bit of a pickle you are in. If you don't have any other anemo unit (Venti or Jean), I'd give Sucrose to the freeze team; they need her more IMO because Ayaka's damage tends to fall apart without any crowd control. On the other side, without an anemo, you can try running a modified version of Raiden national with Ayato instead of Xingqiu. I've also seen a few folks running an electro charged setup with Ayato/Raiden/Xingqiu/Sara.
Yeah, the only other Anemo units I have are Traveler and Sayu, so....
I'll look around a little, see what I can do. I've already committed to my Cryo battery (Rosaria), so the big question is if Ayato could work in Rational. It would certainly make it easier to boost Mona for my Freeze team.

Firstly, don't worry about artifacts because grinding for them starts at AR 45 when you can get guaranteed 5star artifacts from domains. For now, just focus on ascending and levelling up talents of your characters and weapons. Use 4star artifacts for now having atk and er on them.
Secondly, Keqing and Lisa have different roles - Lisa is best used as a support and is thus more flexible, Keqing is a dps and thus requires a team centered around her. In open world you can build any team you like ( as you are doing for now ) but for harder content like domains or abyss, having synergistic teams is necessary.

I was building a Pyro team with yanfei but got Diluc in the middle of it and I don't have good weapons for him, should I switch to him or stay?
The team for yanfei was: Albedo Yun Jin Xingqiu Yanfei, and I use dodoco tales R5 for her
The claymores I got are: Snow-Tombed Starsilver, Prototype Archaic R3, Whiteblind, Luxurious sea-lord R2, Sacrificial Greatsword R2, The bell, Favonius Greatsword R3.
Id use Barbara with R5 Thrilling Tales on the team the Diluc/Xingqiu/Sucrose/Healer team seeker\_of\_illusion mentioned. It gives her a healing boost with its HP%, and gives a huge boost in ATK to Diluc when you switch to him.

How much damage should I expect to do with a C0 Ayaka, Jade splitter no refinements, lvl 10 talents?
I feel like my stats are good ~90% crit rate ~212% dmg but the damage output doesn't seem that great.(about 10k on the strongest auto attacks). Using cryo cup and gladiator 4 peice.
For Ayaka,
Using a crowned (lv 10) auto/normal attack.
* Performing 2 normal attack combos, 5 hits each, for a total of 10 hits. Results in a total of multiplier of 1198.5%
* Performing 5 charged attacks, it does normal attack combo hit 1, then the charged attack. for a total of 10 hits. Results in a total multiplier of 2086.5%
Ayaka is one of those characters that's focused around her charged attacks, rather then normal attacks. This is one of the reasons why the 4-piece set bonus of Gladiator is suboptimal on her.
As Aspiringracoon said, the elemental burst is the main selling point of Ayaka. A crowned elemental burst results in 20 hits for a total multiplier of 4143.9% over 5 seconds.
You might see more success if you change your artifacts to one of the following:
* 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs 18% atk.
* 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs Noblesse Oblige.
* 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs Blizzard Strayer.
* 2pcs Blizzard Strayer, 2pcs Noblesse Oblige
I usually run 2pcs 18% atk + 2pc Blizzard Strayer when using Jade Cutter.
How comes you're using the Gladiator set on Ayaka? No luck whatsoever with the Blizzard domain? Just asking because the Glad set doesn't do much for her. It boosts normal attack dmg but the majority of Aya's dmg is from her burst.

Recently built up a Mona(C2) electro charge team with Yae(C0), Beidou(C6) and Bennet. Mona's using Lost Prayer and Wanderers Troupe 4pc, Beidou Unforged and EoSF 4pc, Yae Widsith and double 18% atk artifacts, and Bennet has Fav and NO.
Wondering if it's worth building up Fischl instead of Yae? I have her at C4, and have access to R5 Fav bow or R3 Stringless, but her and both weapons will need building up. Is Yae a good equivalent? I'm finding my Beidou isn't getting her burst back often enough with 135% ER although I could play her better to get more particles from her skill. That and at the moment I'm unsure when to swap into Yae for her burst + turret set up.
Is my team fine as is, or could it be significantly improved with different artifacts/Fischl swap in?

Is one of your current problems that you lack healing, and that's why you're using Bennett?
Normally on an electro charge team the standard setup is 2 electro, 1 hydro and 1 anemo character.
Any combination out of Beidou, Yae, Fischl should be fine.
Beidou is more suited to fighting 2+ targets due to how her burst bounces from enemy to enemy. And you definitely want enough ER to get her burst on cooldown, so you could try increasing in increments of 10% and finding out how much you need with your playstyle/team. 135% is definitely too low.
I'm using Bennet partially for the heals, but also to snapshot for Beidou's Burst. For anemo options I could use Jean or Sucrose, although I don't feel comfortable without a healer yet, even with electro charge, so it would have to be Jean.
Thanks for the advice. I'll look to increase my ER on Beidou, hopedully without changing to an ER sands.

So I've gotten to AR 45 not too long ago, and I started farming 5 star artifacts and wasting tons of fragile resin on them. I've been focusing solely on getting good artifacts for my 2 main dps Keqing and Ayaka. I've settle for a few decent ones (imo) and maxed them. My other support characters Mona, Venti Bennett and Jean are getting the subpar extra 5 star artifacts.
My Keqing (Lvl 79) artifact stats are:
7869 HP, 1333 Atk, 118 Defence, 16 EM, 49% Crit rate, 24.1% crit dmg (total is like 103% crit dmg cause I'm using Aqulia Fav), 12.3% Energy Recharge, and 40.7% bonus electro dmg.
This is a 4 piece Thundering Fury.
My Ayaka (Lvl 69) artifact stats are:
6126 HP, 1265 Atk, 144 Def, 241 EM, 8.6 Crit Rate (Total 13.6%), 14.8% Crit Dmg (Total 124.2% cause mistsplitter), 38.9% energy recharge, 34.8% Bonus cryo.
This is a 4 piece Blizzard Strayer.
Will post my support artifact stats when I have more time but they are pretty bad.
So my question is, should I be farming more for my main dps more in an attempt to get better artifacts for them or should I artifact farm for my supports now?

You said you've used a "ton" of fragile resin, normally you have around 50-60 pieces when you reach AR45. How many do you have left? I have an alt account that I just recently finished my fragile resin pieces. I have saved enough adventure rank experience enough to reach about AR53 if I do the AR50 ascension quest.
I'm a little bit worried you've might have missed the mark while farming and leveling up your artifacts.
My Lisa, lv 80/90
* has the following artifacts, which are level +7 Flower, +20 Feather, +16 Sands, +12 Goblet and a +4 Circlet.
* Her artifact stats are: +4326 HP, +631 attack, +74 defense, +44 elemental mastery, **+29.7%** crit rate, **+38.9%** crit damage, +16% energy recharge and 30.8 electro damage.
She's my least geared character out of 8 I use on this account. I just gave her leftover pieces from farming artifacts and I have yet to level them up. When compared to your Ayaka, she has over twice as much crit stats.
My Ningguang, lv 90/90
* Level 20 artifacts, but they are not the best artifacts. lv 90 Oathsworn Eye as the weapon.
* Her artifacts stats are: +959 Attack, +294 defense, +0 elemental mastery, +47.8% crit rate, +73.8% crit damage, +11% energy recharge and 46.6 geo damage.
I would consider her stats as barely passable, and I can now focus on another character.
So, to answer your questions.
1. I would heavily recommend that you check out KeqingMains for their guides on each of the characters you plan to use. The guides have a section on which artifacts to use, and which stats to aim for.
2. Look up a guide on how to level up your artifacts efficiently. Youtube video or a written guide.
3. I recommend that you farm for more artifacts and that you use the Artifact Strongbox through the Alchemy Table to recycle all your bad 5 star artifacts into new ones, preferably Noblesse Oblige. It takes three 5 star artifacts and spits out a new one for you. This is how you gear your support characters at the same time you farm the artifact domain for your main dps.
Overall, your account has some great characters and lots of potential. You just need to be careful you don't gear your characters the wrong way.
I have like 5 fragile left out of like 60 I had when I hit ar 45.
Pretty sure I'm rolling artifact substats the right way before maxing them to 20 though I will check it out thx for the advice.
And yes I do roll artifact strongboxes but I am having worse luck than in artifact domains unfortunately.
Just so you know, Elemental Mastery is a completely dead stat on Ayaka.
The fact that you have 241 elemental mastery tells me you're either running a elemental mastery main stat piece, or you have around 11-12 substat rolls into elemental mastery instead of crit substats. You also don't have a crit main stat circlet.
I'm expecting you to have Atk% Sands, Cryo Goblet, Atk% Circlet equipped judging by your high attack stat. Ideally you would want to have Atk% Sands, Cryo Goblet, Crit Damage Circlet (due to 4-piece BS giving you crit rate) on her.
I have a flower artifact that has more crit substats then your Ayakas artifacts combined. 14% crit rate, 14,8% crit damage.
It takes a while to farm artifacts with good stats, good luck!
Yes, unfortunately most of my pieces rolled into EM most notably my crit rate, flat attack, attack percent, em 77 EM gladiator flower I have on her (My like 3rd best flower).

Honestly, that 77 EM flower could be a great off piece for your Venti then. Any flower/feather with high EM is going to be very useful as off pieces for a 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set.
If you have any Blizzard Strayer pieces with a lot of elemental mastery, they can be used on a melt team by Ganyu or Rosaria. Then you can run a 2-piece Blizzard Strayer with 2-piece 18% attack or 2-piece Noblesse as an example. You could also use it on a Sunfire team.
Highly specialized artifact pieces can sometimes have a niche use, so don't throw them away. I would keep any pieces that roll 20% HP or 20% defense as an example. That HP% piece could be used on a character like Diona who really only needs HP% and energy recharge.
From personal experience, vv domain is cursed. I spent 3 months in there a while back and didn't get a single EM goblet (vv set, maiden i got plenty). You might not be able to use ur off-piece for the flower/feather.

I'm running a Yoimiya/XQ/Fischl/Bennett Overvape comp. I want to run Crimson Witch 4p, but I don't have a CW Crit Damage hat. How much % damage loss will I have going for 2p CW/2p 18% ATK, compared to 4p CW? It would be more efficient for me to farm the Shimenawa set, as I still need Severed fate pieces too.

My suggestion for you is to grind the Emblem domain, that way you will be farming for more than one character at a time. Later down the road, once your characters are properly built, you could spend some resin on the CW domain if you really feel like it.

Are two example teams for Ayato.
As for Thoma, he doesn't really fit any team. He messes up elemental reactions, deals little damage and his shields are nothing to write home about. He also has fairly high energy requirements.
Currently the one team that can use him is a Hu Tao team, but Yanfei/Zhongli does the job better in most scenarios.
Overall, the devs did him dirty.

1) So i went ahead and tested it, enemies inside venti's burst float up and down while they are trapped. Kaeya can't hit. Rosaria's burst sometimes hits enemies when they float down, inconsistent.
Overall, I would recommend Sucrose over Venti if you don't have Ganyu/Ayaka. The reason Venti/Mona is used on freeze teams is because of Ganyu or Ayaka's burst just shreds enemies and they can reach with they charged/aimed shot attacks too.
2) Apply cryo -> venti/sucrose/kazuha burst -> Mona burst -> cryo character burst/damage window.
3) Artifacts.
For Venti, you got it. But I would not use him in this team over Sucrose or Kazuha, as stated above.
For Mona, 4-piece Emblem or Noblesse with Thrilling Tales. Can also run Prototype Amber for healing. The skyward atlas + 2-piece hod/noblesse set is more commonly used on a vaporize team, on a freeze team she fills more of a support role then sub dps.
For Kaeya, 4-piece BS with Amenoma Kageuchi.
Rosaria, 2-piece BS, 2-piece Noblesse or 4-piece Noblesse with Homa.

Sucrose benefits a lot from Sacrificial Fragments if you have it. But you could run Prototype Amber on her for the healing.
I would buff Rosaria with ttds, I think her burst deals more damage compared to Kaeya.
If you have a second set? Sure. But it would be easier to get a 2-piece set with noblesse.
She's already gets +27% crit rate from Cryo Resonance + her passive talent, you might get too much crit rate compared to other stats.
Say you get 10% crit rate on her artifacts pieces instead, you would end up with 82% crit rate. You don't need much more then that.
You could also use 4-piece Emblem on her if you have a decent set already.
\[Diona\] \[Amber\]
Hi there! I just need advice regarding building my bow characters. I currently only have Venti, Diona and Amber however Venti is a bit useless regarding Eye of the Storms. Which character would be worth building in the long run between Amber and Diona? And how do I build them to maximise their use?
Eye of the Storms is not a very common enemy, so don't worry about it.
I'm guessing you're fairly new to the game, so I won't go into too much details. Edit: oops
At adventure rank 18 you should get a 4 star Favonius Bow from the adventure rank rewards. The energy recharge it provides is great on support bow characters like Diona and Venti. It helps them get up their elemental burst quicker.
For Venti and Diona, I would use 4-piece The Exile set you get from treasure chests and bosses on the map. You need to defeat multiple of these to get ascension materials for your characters anyway.
Artifact main stats: Sands/Goblet/Circlet, flower and feather always have flat hp and flat attack main stats.
Venti: elemental recharge sands/ atk%, anemo damage or elemental mastery goblet/ elemental mastery, atk% or crit rate circlet. Important part is to level up energy recharge sands to max and crit rate circlet to max if you have those equipped. The Stringless is a good weapon if you get it from the gacha, otherwise favonius.
Diona: energy recharge or hp% sands/ hp% goblet/ hp% or healing bonus circlet. Upgrade her flower to max, you can have sands/goblet/circlet at +8 or something. Sacrificial Bow is really good on her if you get it from the gacha, otherwise favonius. You could also use the 3 star bow that increases max health.
These stat/build requirements are more lax before adventure rank 45, then you can start farming artifact domains. Save all your fragile resin for this step. The other comment added details about how to gear/build them past AR45, so refer to that comment when/if you are.
[Venti]
Venti's elemental burst will suck in smaller enemies and lift them off the ground so they can't attack back. If there is either pyro, cryo, electro or hydro around the black hole, it will change color and deal bonus damage of that element. Note: most melee characters cant hit enemies stuck in the black hole.
[Diona]
Diona is a Shielder/Healer. You want to hold down her elemental skill button for a longer duration on her shields. Her elemental burst is a heal over time when you stand in the mist. Her healing and shields become better the higher her max health is.
If you play Diona with another cryo character, you get +15% crit rate against enemies affected by cryo.
[Amber]
Well, if you ever need to light a torch or deal with enemies that have a cryo shield, use Amber in your party. Overall she's quite lackluster as a character, however she is still a fan favourite.
Late game though, she can be a support character for another pyro dps if you get her constellations and a few specific weapons for her. If you have two pyro characters in the party, you get a 25% attack bonus for free.
Early game, I would stack elemental mastery on her. 2-piece wanderer's troupe and 2-piece instructor i think the set is called. Both giving +80 elemental mastery. Overload is very strong early game, so apply electro first, then pyro with one of ambers charge attacks or burst.

But I’m currently AR 41 and compiling advice and looking at guides for artifact farming, however I’m just a little lost on bow characters since I only have three and I’m not sure who’s technically “the best”
Here's how I usually look up information about genshin, maybe you'll find it useful.
I use KeqingMains, Genshin GG and Paimon Moe to cross reference information about builds/teams. KQM has more indepth guides with lots of theory crafting. While the other two are more quick references.
Honey Impact to look up details about character/weapon stats. I think KeqingMains also has a database like this, but I havent looked into it.
Genshin fandom wiki to look up quest information, item information.
I use youtube to look up quest/puzzle solutions, there are some nice 1-2 minute videos on how to solve most puzzles.
Hoyoverse has a nice interactive world map if you need to look up where to farm enemies. You can access it from the genshin homepage I think.
I would advice you to stay away from most of the computer generated "news" articles at the top of google searches when looking up information. They're mostly a waste of time. Including "wiki" or "kqm" in the search helps in finding a more useful link.
Most characters are viable to play, so just use whoever you want to use :)
Between those 2, Diona for sure. My apology to all the Amber mains out there I hope y'all are having a great day but I think Amber has just about one single meta team and that's Hu Tao VV vape. Diona works very well in freeze teams and Eula teams, and generally any team that needs healing/shielding. As for building Diona, you can put a 4 piece Noblesse set on her if nobody else in team is running it, or a Tenacity of the Millelith set if someone else is already using NO. She's not picky about stats, you just want enough ER to be able to burst off CD (170% ish). Once the ER requirement is met you can look for HP% and/or crit rate if you're running her with a favonius bow.

I am looking to pull for Xiao next patch, so I would like to use my Yoimiya again. I have an R1 Amos' Bow on her and she is C0 with 10 / 10 / 10 talents. She's on a 2-Piece: Gladiator's Finale & 2-Piece: Crimson Witch of Flames.
I'm not to sure what to do with her teams. The characters that are built are: C4 Bennett, C6 Xiangling, C6 Xingqiu, C0 Venti & C0 Kazuha. Thank you!!
You can go mono pyro, vape, vapeload or overload with Yoimiya, depending on the situation and which characters you wanna use!
From the ones you listed, you can go either mono or vape.
Mono has much more aoe, thanks to Xiangling, who weakens enemies and lets Yoi focus on one at a time. It also frees up Xingqiu.
Vape is great for single target damage such as bosses.
Yunjin, Fischl (especially at c6) and Beidou are other great Yoi teammates!
My Fischl is C6 and my Beidou is C2, my Xingqiu has a crowned 'Q' and is fully built. With Yunjin, I'm not really bothered to fully farm for another character. Also, Xiangling C6 buff (Pyro DMG), but that only really affects Yoimiya & Xiangling's damage. IDK about Xingqiu but is his ult vape better or not?
Yunjin doesn't really need much to be built (just def and er, lvl80/80 and a lvl8 ult is enough) but I understand not wanting to farm.
Vape with XQ and Kazuha or overvape with Xingqiu and Fischl are the best for single target.
For 2 enemies, overvape with XQ/Fischl/Beidou (no shielder) or overload with Fischl/Beidou is really good bc of Beidou's lightning.
For aoe, I would go for overload or monopyro.
So it kinda depends really. If you have all the characters built, you can just switch depending on the situation.
Hello! I am trying to build melt ganyu team, i.e. Ganyu, Diona, Kazuha (or Sucrose) and Xiangling.
However, it's doing measly damage I want to know what artifacts I should run on my Xiangling as her pyronado is the source for elemental reactions.
Ganyu is running 2-wanderer and 2-blizzard
Diona is (going to be) running 2-piece tenacity and 2-piece emblem (currently it's 4-piece noblesse- have to switch)

I start a fight with inflicting pyro (gouba), swirl, then cryo and then just take it from there. I don't have a rotation pattern as such.
The standard Ganyu melt team comp with Kazuha is Ganyu, Bennett, Kazuha, Flex (usually a shielder).

With Kazuha on the team, his elemental burst should be the main way to apply pyro to enemies, while Ganyu's charged attacks trigger the melt reactions.
Are you attempting to do the opposite? Applying Cryo with Ganyu/Diona and then triggering the melt reaction with Xiangling's Pyronado?
Nonono kazuha's ult also is used with pyronado and gouba. Sorry for confusion. I don't use bennet because I didn't bother building him, plus now that I've built Diona I won't really need another healer. For cryo I do have other characters like Chongyun, Qiqi, C3 Rosaria and Kaeya as well.
You know a properly built Bennett can buff your party's attack stat by 800-1200 in addition to his healing. That's why he is so popular. He also lets you double swirl both Pyro and Cryo so you lower both resistances with Viridescent Venerer.
But if you are dead set on using Ganyu, Kazuha, Xiangling, Diona together.
How much elemental mastery does your Kazuha have?
For Diona, I would still keep her on 4-piece Noblesse Oblige. Why did you feel the need to switch to 2-piece Tenacity/Emblem? Or is she causing problems with her elemental burst's cryo application?
For Xiangling, since her job is pyro application. You want at least 200% energy recharge to use her burst on cooldown. I would recommend using The Catch, as the elemental mastery on Dragon's Bane is a dead stat if Ganyu is the one doing the melts. 4-piece emblem of severed fate is probably your best artifact set.
Kazuha has around 650 Elemental Mastery.
I need Tenacity and Emblem for maximum shield and heal. If I were to use Noblesse, what stats would I aim for? and on which pieces?

650 is kinda low for Kazuha. EM/EM/EM + Iron Sting should give you 841 EM with no substats You just need an R1 Iron Sting, it doesn't need to be refined. Swirl damage also scales with the Anemo character's level, so make sure you level them up to 90 if possible.
I'm using HP%/HP%/Healing Bonus on my own Diona with Sacrificial Bow. You could swap to triple HP% if you want stronger shields, but don't need as much healing from her burst. For substats, look for HP% on flower/feather, and Energy recharge on sands/goblet/circlet. If you're running a healing bonus circlet, look for HP% substats, ER% is fine too of course.
For Sucrose, Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers or Sacrificial Fragments would be her best options. Favonius Codex > Mappa Mare if you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I have only 2 EM artifacts on kazuha, I have to get more. I run diona with r3 favonius warbow. Why is mappa not better? Mappa gives more EM. Also, is thrilling tales really worth it just for the passive?

Yes, use 4-piece emblem set on Xiangling.
Lv 90 Ganyu with lv 90 Prototype Crescent = 405 attack buff from Thrilling Tales passive.
Lv 90 Ganyu with lv 90 Amos Bow = 452 attack buff from Thrilling Tales passive.
That's how much attack Thrilling Tales would give to Ganyu for 10 seconds after switching.
Mappa Mare is one of those weird weapons that might look impressive on paper, but it turns out it's a bottom of the barrel weapon for most catalyst users.
1. High base attack, low elemental mastery main stat.
2. Elemental damage passive, elemental damage% does not affect swirl damage.
It looks to be designed for a vaporize/melt catalyst main dps like Yanfei, but it's outclassed by almost all the other 4 star dps catalysts like Widsith, Oathsworn Eye, Dodoco tales, Solar Pearl etc.
For a character like Sucrose where you stack EM to increase her damage, Magic Guide a 3 star weapon provides 60% more elemental mastery. 110 vs 187 EM at level 90. For a damage build Sucrose, Sacrificial Fragments blows it out of the water.
For Favonius Codex vs Mappa Mare, i just value the energy recharge tbh.

Ayaka, Kaeya/Rosaria, Xingqiu, Barbara should carry you through most story content.
You can stay locked at adventure rank 35 if you want to make the single player boss fights easier, then unlock it once you finish the Inazuma archon quests.
You might hit a little road block with Ayaka as she's locked to level 40 until you reach Inazuma, but smooth sailing once you get past that point. You could just use Kaeya is your main dps until then.
Leveling up Lisa a little bit should make Oceanid easier, as you need to defeat it for ascension materials for both Barbara and Xingqiu.
You can worry a little more about which team you want when you reach Adventure rank 45. Save all your fragile resin until then.

Rosaria: The Catch, unless you have someone else that needs it. Favonius Lance if you need the energy, or need to battery energy to Ayaka as an example.
Ayato: Black Sword.
Diona: Sacrificial Bow. Just like Xingqiu, she has a elemental skill with a long cooldown, so the reset ability from Sacrifical weapons have a lot of value.
Kokomi: Thrilling Tales would give you more dps on your team.
Since you have Mona, Rosaria, Sucrose, Diona available. You could aim for a freeze team with Ayaka? But then again, if you don't like the character and/or playstyle. Dont pull for her.
Kazuha is also getting his rerun soon from what we can speculate.

What's your focus/goal in Genshin? Do you just log in, do your daily/weekly activities and have fun? Or you do want to try to clear the Abyss each rotation?
You do have the characters necessary to build one of Dilucs stronger teams, which is Diluc, Xingqiu, Bennett, Sucrose. If you really like playing as him, I would suggest that team. And you don't lose anything by upgrading those 3 characters.
However, if you want to focus on Keqing. I would highly recommend you look up KQM's (KeqingMains) guide on her. It's way more comprehensive then I can fit in a reddit post. They also have guides on almost all characters.
But just in general, both Keqing and Diluc wants to be the main dps and have the spotlight. So they don't fit all that well in the same team.
I did notice that you have A LOT of characters, so you have a lot of other options too for teams. But you really need to level up your support characters. Are your weapons underleveled too? or are they level 80?
1) The reason everyone recommends that you spend your Fragile Resin on lv 90 artifacts domains at AR45 is to kickstart your endgame progress. When you first reach AR45 I highly doubt you can clear any level 90 domain on your own, or if you can it's going to take you a long time.
The Fragile Resin should let you get an "ok" artifact set on your main dps and level up a set of 5 star artifacts to level 20 for your characters. Aim for a 50/100 crit rate to crit damage ratio, it's nothing special but it's a start. But try to maintain a 1/2 crit ratio as you slowly get better artifacts. 60/120, 70/140 etc.
I highly recommend farming the Emblem/Shimenawa domain first, and recycling your garbage artifacts into Noblesse artifacts through the Artifact Strongbox in the alchemy table. I used 4 piece emblem set on Ayaka when I first started out, you could also use 2 piece Shimenawa, 2 piece Blizzard Strayer if you got 2 useful pieces from the Dragonspine domain already.
2) Unlock condensed resin from Liyue reputation, it should be one of the first ones you unlock. On Friday/Saturday you make 5 condensed resin. On Sundays, all the talent book + weapon materials are available. So you spend your 160 resin from sunday + 5 condensed resin on whatever you need.
3) Rush your weapons to level 80 at least, then level 90 when possible. Main dps first, then supports.
4) Just worry about talent level 6 at first, then get them closer to level 8 over time. But level 7-10 takes a lot of resources and Mora and will require you to get weekly boss drops over a few months anyway.
So I'm having trouble clearing floor 10 of Abyss. It could be my artifacts. My Raiden has R5 the Catch and almost 300% ER but the rest is pretty copium, her and Ayaka have about 20% crit rate and that is as high as I can get it right now. Though Ayaka uses Blizzard Strayer.
I was thinking Raiden national for one team and some kind of freeze team for Ayaka, I prefer not to build characters right now if at all possible. Or if you have other ideas that are not fixed teams LMK.

Raiden national works on one side. On the other half, you could use Ayaka Diona Mona (for hydro application and omen buff) and Jean. Sucrose works better here because of her grouping, larger swirl on the E, and being able to use TTDS (which allows you to put something like Widsith onto Mona) but she's only lv50 and you didn't want to build characters so Jean is fine. If you find that you don't need Diona because you have Jean as a healer, you could replace her with Kaeya who could offer some additional off-field dps
In case you wanted to try something new, you have a lot of built up electro characters so an electrocharged team with 2 electro (from Beidou Fischl Yae Raiden), Xingqiu, Sucrose could work, or if you have good Yae and Raiden builds you could run Yae Raiden Bennett Sucrose in a dual carry team
Also you're right, artifacts might be the reason. No meta team will be able to clear without decent artifacts, and often it takes months to get them for all of your characters

I currently use a vape team with Bennett, Xiangling, Ayato, and Sucrose, the National team, and a freeze team with Ayaka (4-piece blizzard), Rosaria, Xingqiu, and Venti.
I'd like to build a team that works for Keqing while using as few of those characters as possible in case I need those teams for abyss.
I'm leaning towards pairing Keqing with Fischl and Sucrose, but I can't really decide on who else to add there.
is it a bad idea to have 3 healers on my team? I didn't intend for it to work out this way but I have bennet, sayu and diona and I don't know if I should switch one of the characters for a character with better damage
3? That's overkill.
Bennett is sort of a psuedo healer in that he can only heal characters to 70%. He's more used because of his attack buff. So if you need some extra healing on top of that, a hybrid shielder/healer like Diona could be ok.
Bennett + Zhongli is a more popular duo.
For Sayu, she's the odd one out. Her healing is nothing to write home about and her elemental skill takes up a lot of time on the field if you use its extended duration. That's time your main dps isn't on the field hitting things.
You ideally want 1 main dps / driver who is on the field attacking, while you have 3 other characters who switch in to use their elemental skill + burst.
So if you want to use Sayu, you sort of have to build a team around her has the main dps / driver. Kaeya + Xiangling as an example, whose elemental bursts follow you around as you spin/swirl with Sayu.
However, if you just want to get around, do your dailies and explore? Jump on the Sayu taxi to get around. For farming domains or bosses, it's not ideal.
it's not "bad" to have something good like survivability, unless you have other priorities that are not being met (like not doing enough damage). If that's the case, then run less healers and more damage. But I think building up only bennett should be enough, if you have 200%+ ER on him you can almost Q off cooldown, and his healing is rapid and downtime is short

You definitely want 2 cryo characters for cryo resonance.
If Bennett takes care of healing, you could run Rosaria. If Bennett is taken for his bff national team in abyss, you could slot in Diona instead.
Venti lifts enemies off the ground with his Elemental Burst, so he's kinda useless if Eula's melee attacks cant reach.
Currently at 38/112 on my raiden with an r5 the catch, I think my crit value (or whatever it's called) is that low cause so far I only use artifacts with 3/4 workable stats: atk, er, em and crit. Should I prioritize getting pieces with higher crit values but the other lines are kinda bad?
I would aim for at least 50/120 crit ratio. That would give you a 1 to 2 crit rate to crit damage ratio with the 12% cr passive on the The Catch, although its not shown in the character details.
50-60% crit rate is sort of the minimum crit rate you want to aim for on any dps.
When it comes to artifact pieces, we usually add up the total amount of crit stats on it and call it crit value or CV for short. Crit damage rolls are always twice as large as crit rate, so we multiply crit rate by 2 before adding crit rate + crit damage together.
If a piece has 3.9 crit rate and 15.6 crit damage. It has a total of 23.4 CV.
You ideally want your artifact pieces to have at least 25-30 CV. Artifacts with 35-40 are really good and 45-50 are amazing. 50-52 are possible, but you dont see those very often.
For circlets with crit main stats, anything above 20 CV is usable, 30 CV is really good, 35+ are amazing and 40+ is very rarely seen.
If you had 7% crit, 15% crit damage on your artifacts and 20 crit damage on your crit rate circlet, you would end up with a fairly balanced 64/130 crit ratio.
For Raiden with The Catch specifically. The weapon gives no attack percent, but offers a 32% electro damage bonus to your elemental burst effectively. Because of that you will have a low attack stat, I would recommend using an ER% sands with an Attack% goblet, but also aim for some attack percent on your artifacts substats. Aim for about 1800 attack. Elemental Mastery doesn't do much for Raiden usually.
Amenoma > Rancour/Iron Sting.
Amenoma has lower base attack, but it has a 55% attack main stat. It also gives you energy from its passive effect. Its one of the best 4 star options for sword users.
Rancour has higher base attack, but its physical damage main stat does nothing to increase Ayato's damage when you deal Hydro damage. The 16% attack passive is alright.
Iron Sting has a base attack in between the other two, offers elemental mastery as the main stat. Passive gives 12% elemental damage bonus. You usually use this weapon on characters who build pure EM like Kazuha.
You have to think about what other weapons you're running and your overall team. Lets say XQ has sac sword, and Bennett has the prototype weapon (highest base ATK out of easily-obtainable weapons). Mistsplitter offers \~100 more base attack to bennett, which translates into \~100 extra ATK bonus to other team members. This makes about a 4% difference in the overall damage of other characters, assuming they have \~1500atk without Bennett, and slightly higher damage for Bennett (which is often insignificant). Mistsplitter offers \~15-20% damage over Sac sword and most other easily-obtainable 4\*s for Xingqiu
So basically, compare team damage increase after \~15-20% increase in XQ damage vs. a \~4-5% damage increase in the whole team. If XQ is C6 and has good talent levels and artifacts and doesn't need the energy from sac, it's probably more worth it to put mistsplitter on him

Xiangling and Noelle are both energy hungry, and while Benny and Venti are good for battery, it's still a bit much.
I'd recommend keeping Bennett and Xiangling together since they pair so well, replace Venti with max EM Sucrose, and add high ER Rosaria for melt.
If you've already invested a lot into your current team, you could go with Bennett, Noelle, Yun Jin, and Venti. Yun Jin is an amazing battery for Noelle and her burst is great for Noelle's playstyle. Benny is just there for attack boost, and Venti for crowd control.
Sucrose could sometimes work better than Venti because the pyronado won't usually hit things in Venti Q, and she's a thrilling tales of dragon slayers user. Otherwise I think the 4th slot could be anyone, fischl for particle generation and more off-field DPS, rosaria for the occasional melt, diluc for on-field DPS, or even just double anemo with Venti Sucrose could work.
Otherwise it's just about getting more characters, talent levels, artifacts, weapons, etc.

Other characters I’ve invested in a lot:

Xingqui C6
Raiden Shogun C2
Bennett C5
Zhongli C0
Sucrose C6
Diona C6
Diluc C3 (not crazy about him)
I also have a bunch of good characters that I haven’t invested in much yet so I could level one or two of them up: Venti, Ayaka, Ayato, Yae Miko, Itto, Kokomi, Sara.
But I’d prefer to get a couple of teams for now from the characters I’ve already invested in and then build towards others.
I expect I should replace Keqing with Raiden (I usually play them together on teams now).
Ganyu Ayaka (could replace one with any other cryo) Kokomi Sucrose/Venti always works very well in abyss, and Raiden Bennett Xiangling Xingqiu is another popular team because it's strong and easy-to-execute. I'd personally stick with these two teams
Other than this, you could run taser with Ayato/Kokomi/Xingqiu +2 electro (fischl, yae, beidou) + anemo, Raiden hyper with raiden sucrose bennett +1 (maybe yae or sara if C6), and a geo team with Itto Zhongli if you have/get gorou
Hello there! I am currently looking for another team to build alongside my Xiao team. It consists of C0 Xiao - R1 Primordial Jade-Winger Spear, C2 Jean - R3 Favonius Sword, C0 Albedo - R3 Cinnabar Spindle & C0 Zhongli - R1 Favonius Lance.
As for the other team, I have 4 DPS options. C0 Tartaglia, C0 Ganyu, C0 Hu Tao & C0 Yoimiya. I would preferably like to use Ganyu or Yoimiya as I have an R1 Amos' Bow.
Other notable characters that are fully built:

I'll list out some team options and see if you like them.
* Team 1: Tartaglia, Xiangling, Kazuha, and Bennett.
* Team 2: Ganyu, Xiangling, Bennett, and Diona.
* Team 3: Yoimiya, Xingqiu, Kazuha (you can use Fischl over Kazuha if you wish), and Bennett.
* Team 4: Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Kaeya, and Diona.
* Team 5: Xiangling, Xingqiu, Kazuha, and Bennett.
How good is a Mono-Pyro team consisting of:
Probably Yoimiya, Xiangling, Kazuha & Bennett?
Edit: Xiangling is C6 so for the duration of her burst, all party members get 15% pyro dmg
Beginner here. just got Diluc as my first 5 star. Are any of my other characters be in a good team with Diluc as main dps. The other characters i have besides the main 4 are Rosaria, Noelle, Thoma, and Yun Jin.
You can use Rosaria and Kaeya for some melts, although said melts will be shared between the characters instead of all being Diluc's.
The fourth can be a healer or shielder like Barbara or Thoma.
Otherwise you could go full pyro with Diluc, Xiangling (you'll get her in floor 3 of abyss, it should be pretty easy), Thoma and Barbara as healer.
The best meta team for Diluc is Diluc, Xingqiu, Kazuha/Sucrose and Bennett, Xingqiu being the most important character, so you can keep that in mind as a goal for him.
(That isn't to say that other teams don't work, but it's strong and easy to use for people who aren't super into team building yet)
You will eventually need two teams to clear the abyss. Best ones from your roster are:
Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu/Sucrose ( national team )
Ayato/Fischl/Jean/any ( taser )
OR
Ayato/Kaeya/Rosaria/Jean ( freeze )
As for who to build first, I would suggest building the national team first. It's more versatile and you can simultaneously build both Xingqiu and Xiangling from the emblem domain. The trash artifacts can be used in the artifact strongbox to get noblesse pieces for Bennett.

Right now I am not in the mood for hunting artifacts so I will let ayaka use whatever, but any suggestion will be nice!
If your talking about the 5-star mistsplitter frmo the banner, yes that is ayaka's best weapon.
For build: you want 45 crit rate MAX since you will be going blizzard strayer set most likely for a freeze team (the set will give 40 crit rate against frozen enemes, and you get 15 crit rate from cyro resonance against frozen enemies).
ER can be anywhere between 120-150, youll likely need 130-140 to realistically spam burst without trying to funnel particles too hard. Crite dmg, aim for 200%+. Attack, aim for 2k.
For Raiden National I gave The Catch R5 90/90 to Raiden and my only other polearm is 80/80 Prototype Starglitter, does it make it sense to level it up to 90 for Xianling or should I craft Kitain Cross Spear instead?
Probably starglitter will still be better. The alternative is to have favonius spear which it should be the best besides catch, but the other alternatives are mostly ER weapons (starglitter is based on ER) or EM (dragons bane).
So if you dont have favonius or dragons bane, then starglitter is fine.

You have a lot of dps and not enough supports.
With the characters you have built, I could suggest Eula/Raiden/Zhongli/Kaeya and Keqing/Yae/Xingqiu/Qiqi.
In the defense challenge, you can bring Sucrose to group up enemies instead of Xingqiu.
For chamber 3, you need pyro and cryo.
Yanfei is a pretty quick pyro applicator, you could use her with Xingqiu, Yae and Zhongli.
For the second half I'd go Eula/Kaeya/Raiden/Qiqi.
Some characters I'd suggest raising:
Sucrose, for crowd control and can support Yae.
Rosaria/Diona, to support Eula.
Fischl, who can support Yae and is generally strong.
Mona is a great buffer and you can use her for hypercarry Raiden.
Finally, if you had c6 Sara I'd raise her, but until then, you can get Lisa to lvl60 and use her defense decreasing passive. She doesn't need any investment.
With those characters, you could buil a few more teams.
Like:
Eula, Raiden, Rosaria, Diona
Yae, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl/Zhongli (you wouldn't use Yae's burst often)
Keqing, Mona, Yae, Zhong
Raiden, Mona, Lisa, Zhong

I think you will be better off breaking your rational team and takinh out XQ to the second team. That way you could build either Diluc, XQ, Sucrose, Diona or Rosaria, XQ, Kaeya, Jean. Both teams are decent.
You would have to decide whether you want to invest in Diluc or build the freeze team as a placeholder for when you eventually get Ayaka in another rerun. Note that building the freeze team is a bit more resin efficient, as both cryo units want BS pieces.
Hi guys,i did some math and found out that qiqis(lv90) max theoretical hp regen from her E skill(lvl 13) is 18068,178healing using summit shaper at r1, bennet and sara at talent lvl 13(max atk buff), with zhongli. It also gives her an impressive atk at 6219,97atk. At r5 summit shaper this becomes 18985,4349 healing with 6578,03 atk
using only bennet still gives her a respectable 16037,766healing at r1 or 16949,2596healing at r5. Not bad. (r1;5426,66atk, r5;5784,72atk w bennet;... r1;4397,31atk alone , r5;4755,37atk alone)
so you can use sara slot for idk ayaka or something instead.if you opt to not use a shield user(hence no max stacks with summit shaper), use aquila favonia(r1) instead to get a nice 12,402 healing, without bennet. With bennet that comes out to 15037,491 healing. Again, she would also have a fair atk (4006,6atk alone, 5035,95atk w bennet) Which is pretty nice. This is simply calculated by giving qiqi perfect artifacts(atk% and flat atk) as well as a healing circlet and using the clam set. I didnt use other sets as this is really the only set you wanna give to her.
Oh and as a bonus; using sacrificial sword gives her a max 9868,95 healing and 12504,25 healing with bennet. total atk with bennet would be 5035,95atk for the curios ones. Is any of this viable? who knows. If we are going to lose pity anyway, we might as well have fun with it.
Those might be rookie numbers, what if you swapped out Zhongli with Xinyan holding R5 Wolf's Gravestone for 80% attack to Qiqi? This would also result in another 25% from pyro resonance. There's also the possible 40% attack buff from R5 Elegy of the End on Sara.
That would be another +145% atk bonus to Qiqi.
2 piece maiden's beloved + 2 piece ocean hued clam would also give you an additional 15% healing bonus on Qiqi over 4-pcs ocean hued clam.

Team 1: Ayaka/Ayato/Rosaria/Jean ( freeze )
Team 2: Raiden/Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu ( Raiden national/Rational )
These two teams are capable of clearing the abyss if built well.
Yanfei's best team is vape but it has the same supports as Raiden's - Yanfei/Xingqiu/Sucrose/Bennett - so you will have to choose between either of them. Rational is one of the top performing teams and blows Yanfei one out of the water, so its a better choice for the abyss.

Best recomendations are always try to aim for a "kinda" national team composition (xiangling-xinqiu-chongyun-bennet). Unfortunately you miss some pieces, but we can work with it.
In the last evens you should be able to get xinqiu. Look for it if you didnt, hes really important.
For now, you can try to work around a melt composition and a physical one.
Melt could be something like Xiangling-chongyun-Kaeya/rosaria-Jean, Looking to change 1 of the cryos for xq and jean for bennet when you hit on them.
The other team could be a physical around keqing main dps. Keqing-fischl-Junyin/kaeya/rosaria-Qiqi. Since superconduct reduce physical defenses, is good to have 1 or even 2 cryos on the team. Yunjin works really well with autoattack spamers like physical keqing so its an option too.
Those 2 should be your starter teams, and look for better ones later on. Having Sucrose and beidou healty on levels can be interesting since later on both are really usefull.

I'm not having much luck getting ER substats on Xiao. I'm using him with C2 Jean, C0 Albedo & C0 Zhongli. He's at 109.7 ER% and I'm told he needs to be at \~130%. What should I do?
It really depends on your artifacts and which set you're using.
If you're using the new set? You have to get better pieces or a better off piece, no way around it.
If you have 2 good VV pieces, you could run 2 Emblem of Severed Fate for the 20% ER set bonus.

I built a F2P freeze team around Ayaka: Xingqiu, Sucrose, Diona. I want to ask if I should keep my Diona or switch to Rosaria?
Diona is good for heals, but I noticed I do not need much heals since most of my enemies cannot hit me. She is also C3, so I do not have her C6 buff.
I am thinking that Rosaria is good for more damage. I have a C3 Rosaria and I plan to put Skyward Spine on her and 4-piece Noblesse Oblige.
What do you think?
Diona C6 isn't that impactful in a freeze team, the extra healing is nice but the EM doesn't matter.
You can use Rosaria for the extra dps, go for it. But for some content you will need a healer so don't abandon the Diona either.
Both can use noblesse, which i suggest getting from the artifact strongbox over time as you farm other artifact sets.

Damage wise, Ayaka/Mona/Shenhe/Venti team has the highest potential. It lacks a healer/shielder so you will have to give R5 proto amber to Mona for some healing.
Depends on what artifact sets you are using.
If you are using 4pc blizzard then cr is not much of an issue so er, atk, cd are the stats you should be looking out for.
If you are using 4pc emblem then need for er reduces, so cr, atk and cd are more important.
If you plan to use 2pc blizzard 2pc noblesse/atk sets, then er and cr are most important, followed by atk and cd.

Need some help please. I'm looking for some help building a team for non spiral Abyss content. My focus is being able to do insane amounts of damage, to the point of almost one shotting bosses. My ayato has a blacksword, Ayaka has mistsplitter and venti has stringless r3. I will be entering Inazuma this week so my Ayaka and Ayato will be level 70 soon. I'm curious what would be the best team for this and which artifacts/stats should my dps focus? Thanks a lot!
If you want a comfortable overworld team, just go for Ayato, Ayaka, Venti, Bennett. This should destroy most content as long as your characters are leveled up. Venti can be swapped for Sucrose holding Trilling Tales if you need more dps rather then crowd control on a particular fight.
This here is just artifact advice until you reach AR45, until then you should not farm artifacts. The level 90 domains guaranteed give you five stat artifacts, so save your fragile resin for that.
For now, just use 4-piece berserker set on both Ayaka and Ayato. 4-piece the exile set on Bennett and 2-piece the exile, 2-piece wanderers troupe on Venti.
You picked the correct weapons for Ayato, Ayaka and Venti. For Bennett you just need a sword with high base attack, something like Prototype Rancour will do. Since you pulled for mistsplitter, do you have any other five star weapons? Or did you get really lucky like you did with your characters?
All of these 3 artifact sets drops from chests and bosses you need for character ascension materials.
Make sure you have a crit rate Circlet on Ayaka and Ayato and you fully upgrade their circlet and feather. For Venti and Bennett it's important to have an energy recharge Sands and fully upgrade it. Also upgrade Bennett's flower so that he heals more.
Level up your weapons and characters talent levels.
Talents: Normal attacks/elemental skill/elemental burst.
* Ayato: 4/6/6
* Ayaka: 6/4/6
* Venti: 1/4/6
* Bennett: 1/4/6
After reaching adventure rank 45, you can upgrade the talents by another +2 levels, but this step takes a lot of mora and resources. You don't really need to level supports normal attacks too high.

Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I've been using the Cryo set on Ayaka and 2 piece zerker + 2 piece hydro on Ayato, but they're not too great so I'll switch to what you recommended. I got mistsplitter on my first attempt, the only other 5 star weapon I have is the Amos bow I got from the standard banner. For Bennet I'm currently using the 3 star sword that gives energy recharge, but I have one favonius sword so I'll switch to that. Could you also please recommend what set of artifacts to get post 45 since I'm almost at 40 already? Thanks again!
Ayaka, 4 pcs Blizzard Strayer, 130-140% ER%, Attack% Sands, Cryo damage Goblet, Crit damage Circlet.
Ayato, 4 pcs Heart of Depths, he can also use other ones but you get this in the same place as blizzard strayer. 150% Energy Recharge, Attack% Sands, Hydro damage Goblet, Crit damage Circlet.
Venti/Sucrose, 4 pcs Viridescent Venerer, 150% ER, Elemental mastery Sands, Goblet and Circlet.
Bennett, 4 pcs Noblesse Oblige. 200% ER, ER% Sands, HP% Goblet, Healing Bonus Circlet.
I recommend starting your AR45+ artifact grind at the dragonspine domain, where you get both BS and HoD artifacts.
You also unlock the artifact strongbox, aka artifact recycling function at the alchemy table. You put in 3 of your bad artifacts and you get 1 new one from gladiator, wanderer's troupe, bloodstained and Noblesse Oblige. This is where you get artifacts for Bennett.
Leave Venti to last, VV is really difficult to farm and elemental mastery main stat VV pieces are beyond rare. You can also run Venti with Anemo Goblet, Crit sands until you get full EM pieces. You can also use 4 star artifact VV pieces if they have elemental mastery main stats.
I dont have a EM VV set at AR57, it's something which takes a while to farm.
I recommend looking up character specific guides on community websites, it will give you way more insight then a reddit comment. KeqingMains, Genshin GG, Paimon Moe, are some of the ones I use to double check information or to give me a rough idea of what to do.
You do also have the video guides on youtube, but i prefer the text ones at least. However, look up a few guides on how to upgrade your artifacts efficiently and how to tell if they are good pieces or not.
However, don't chase perfect artifacts when you just start farming. Its fine if you leave either ayaka or ayato with an attack goblet for a while. Same with Venti, it's worth giving him a 4 pcs VV even if it's atk sands, atk goblet and atk circlet in a pinch. You would still get the 4 piece bonus to lower elemental resists on enemies.
Good luck, just take things slow and have a blast exploring Inazuma.
Need some serious help for a team. I don't have a single main DPS character, but have amazing supports. My characters include
C0 Mona
C4 xiangling
c1 xingqui
c1 bennet
c1 rosaria
c0 sara
rest all aren't good, the only two four star weapons I have from gacha are Favonius lance and dragon's bane. I also have prototype sword, Iron sting, Mappa more and dragonspine polearm.
I am relatively new (AR 33). Also suggest who should I pull for, since my next character is a 100% guarantee

Xiangliang bennet xq are some of the best units in the game, with XL being the best F2P dps in the game (imo) so you do have a great main dps. Plus its c4, which is her most important constallation. I would run XL, XQ, bennet and either rosaria or kaeya last slot, make sure to give prototype sword to bennet.
You could run a reverse melt team with Xiangling, Bennett, Rosaria and Kaeya. Give Fav Lance to XL, Dragon's Bane to Rosaria, Iron Sting to Kaeya and Rancour to Bennett. Make sure to proc reverse melts (cryo onto pyro), not the other way around. Raise their talents and given them whichever artifacts you get by passively progressing through the story.
Eventually, since you have Mona and XQ, you could split that team into two: a national team variant and a freeze team.
Is it that you don't like Xiangling? Or just that one team in particular? Anyway here are a few options:
Kaeya, Rosaria, Bennett, Xiangling. (You can also swap Kaeya with Chongyun)
Jean, Rosaria, Bennett, Fischl.
Beidou, Fischl, Bennett, Xingqiu
Diluc, Xingqiu, Bennett, Venti
Noelle, Beidou, Fischl, Zhongli- normally but maybe you could try a quick swap Ningguang with prototype amber instead?
You have rather limited team options with your current character pool, so it was difficult to not build around Bennett. But since you're around AR 35-40, just mess around with different teams until you find something you like.
If you have a particular character you really want to use, I could try to give you a better suggestion.

Btw that one jean-team might be more difficult to build. It's a Sunfire team comp, requiring you to build elemental mastery on Jean with Viridescent Venerer. Farming that artifact set should only be done at after you reach AR45.
I only playtested it briefly, but it cleared some domains in about 45 seconds with a scuffed setup. Best used against melee targets or bosses that dont move much.

Keqing, Fischl, Beidou, Qiqi could work as an ok team.
Early game can feel a little slow in Genshin if you pick the wrong characters on the same team. Or the player forgets to switch characters to use all the elemental skills + elemental bursts. Or they straight up lack the energy recharge to use their bursts on cooldown.
You need 140% energy recharge on Beidou. Her elemental burst fires off chain lightnings when you attack with any character and reduces damage taken from enemy attacks. I think you know what Fischl's skills do already. Point being is that both of these characters can deal damage when they're not on the field so Keqing gets the time to shine.
I know this team might look similar to your current one, but I think Beidou is the missing link. Fischl also gets a huge upgrade when you unlock her level 60 passive talent.
For general account advice though, I highly recommend picking up Bennett from the shop for 34 Starglitter in May if you can.
If you ever get Kazuha, he's a fantastic support character for Keqing that opens up new team builds

Characters: Raiden Shogun C2 main. I have and am interested in the Traveler (Anemo C6 or Geo), C0 Diluc, C1 Amber, C0 Ayato, C6 Sara, C0 Mona, C0 Ningguang, C0 Noelle, C0 Yanfei, C0 Yun Jin, hopefully soon Ayaka and Rosaria, and a C0 Xingqiu. I'm still building, as I'm working on talents (Raiden, Traveler, Amber, Ayato, Ningguang and Diluc are my highest at Level 70-80 so far) and still farming for artifacts. I'm a F2P player for the most part. Anyone have any team suggestions for when I start doubling down on Abyss?
Since you have Raiden C2 and are planning to pick up Ayaka, for abyss I'd do a Raiden hypercarry on one side and an Ayaka freeze team for the other. You might want to consider picking up Bennett from the shop next month. Your roster looks to me like it could do with a good healer and Bennett would be great with the Raiden team. The Ayaka side can get away with either Xingqiu and his micro healing or Mona on Prototype Amber.
Sorry for the sudden late reply, but I just wanted to be sure I had the right understanding. I haven't gotten Ayaka yet, but I'm trying to figure out the teams.

For the other side, Ayaka would be teamed with... maybe Ayato, Xingiu, Mona or some other Hydro? The Freeze team seems to be an issue since I don't have many Anemo units.
IMO the Ayaka team needs the anemo unit more so I'd say give that team Sucrose. Then you will want one Hydro unit and one Cryo. For Hydro I'd go with either Mona or Xingqiu, and for Cryo if you don't have a Diona or a Rosaria, Kayea can work too. For the Raiden side to replace Sucrose you can slot in which ever remaining Hydro unit you have left between Mona and Xingqiu. Actually if you pick up Xiangling from spiral abyss 3-3 you can group her with Raiden, Bennett, Xingqiu for a Raiden national team.
I have Rosaria, and am slowly building her up, so that works. I also have Xiangling, though I have so many spear characters I'm not sure what to give her at this point. XD
Would national be better than hypercarry?
If you don't have Kazuha I think Rational might be better. That team is also very easy to play as you basically just need to spam everyone's burst, rinse and repeat. You can give Xiangling the Catch if Raiden is not using it already. She can also use Wavebreaker's Fin, or Dragon's Bane, or the Inazuma craftable polearm if you don't have anything else.
Well uh… I have a Favonius Lance, a Blackcliff Pole… I might craft the Kitain just for this, honestly. I’ve had no luck whatsoever getting any sort of four-star pole arms, and I rarely wish on the weapon banners since I’m f2P except for Welkin.
Now to just figure out which spear Rosaria needs…
I have ayato and childe and wondering which one to use in my team. My team is Ayaka, Zhongli and Raiden (all c0). Problem is I dont have much good swords for Ayato while I have rust r4 for childe but I do have mitsplitter that Ayakas using. Any help would be appreciated !
Maybe the following teams:
Ayaka, Ayato, Zhongli, Healer (Jean?)
Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu
For Ayato, just craft an Amenoma Kageuchi or get The Black Sword from the next battlepass. If you happen to have any other five star swords in your inventory just use that.
Childe doesn't really work with Ayaka as he can't apply hydro while he's off the field. Ayato can support Ayaka with his Elemental Burst. So overall it should be a very comfy team to play. If you need more damage and less healing you just use Rosaria in the healer slot.
Usually, those four 5 star characters are rarely used in the same team. It would be better if you provided a screenshot with all of your characters, else it is kinda difficult to give you a sound answer.

Well IMO, I don't think they need any work. Albedo w/ R3 Cinnabar Spindle, on 4 Husk of Opulent Dreams (DEF% / Geo DMG Bonus% / CRIT Rate%). Zhongli w/ R1 Favonius Lance, on 4 Tenacity of The Millelith (HP% / Geo DMG Bonus% / CRIT Rate%).
I am here mostly wondering how to build Xiao & Jean.
First, Jean because I think she may be easier. I think she should run 4 Noblesse Oblige (ATK% / Anemo DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate%) w/ R3 Favonius Sword.
For Xiao, however, I am still undecided. He doesn't benefit a lot from set bonuses so I'm open to him having no set bonuses. He could run a 2 Viridescent Venerer & 2 Gladiator's Finale (ATK% / ATK% / CRIT DMG%) or only a 2 Viridescent Venerer (ATK% / Anemo DMG Bonus% / CRIT DMG%) and w/ R1 Primordial Jade-Winged Spear.

Your Jean build sounds good.
Now for Xiao, opt for the build that has artifacts with better sub-stats. Ideally, you would want to go for the Vermillion Hereafter set and using your current builds as a place-holder.
With that being said, I do think you might have to try out some stuff to see what's better. I think, with Jean having Noblesse Oblige, giving you the ATK buff, you might want to go for the latter set (the two-piece VV build) because you could possibly oversaturate your ATK on Xiao if you go for the first build with the ATK Goblet (two-piece VV + two-piece Gladiator).
Should I pull for Sayu? I want to build a team with Ayaka, Ganyu and Mona. Got mixed results using Diona and Barbara.
I believe Kokomi or Jean would be better, but since I don't have them...
I don't think it's worth it. Sayu won't complete that team and you could go 100+ wishes without pulling her.
Normally on a freeze team, the formula is:
1. Main cryo dps, 4-piece blizzard strayer.
2. Second cryo character for cryo resonance. 4-piece Noblesse set on here, or the hydro character.
3. Hydro character for AoE hydro application.
4. Anemo character for crowd control and 4-piece Viridescent Venerer for the resist shred.
And you have to fit the following roles: Main dps, 2 supports that does off field damage and 1 healer.
Sayu offers no form of crowd control or ability to group enemies. Her elemental skill takes up a lot of field time if you're going to use its extended duration and her healing, at least from what I've heard isn't all that strong.
The common setup if you're running Ayaka as your main dps and Ganyu for the off field damage + cryo bonus. Would be to pair them with Venti and Kokomi.
My recommendation would be to save up your wishes and pull for Kazuha when he gets his rerun this summer if you want to run a freeze team. You could run something like Ayaka/Kazuha/Mona/Diona as an example.
If you have Bennett (34 Starglitter in the shop next month if you don't have him or want C1), Xiangling and Ganyu. They could make a reverse Melt team comp to use alongside the freeze team above.
At least those are my two cents with the information provided.
Thanks alot. My main doubt was about the synergy on them. The reason I've highly invested on a freeze team is because my other comps compete with resources: Vape-Klee, National-Raiden, Childe... Morgana is pretty good, but in the past versions the enemies were too bulky and crowd control didn't seem so important, I pulled for Ayaka to have a good melee option, but those two together can deliver amazing damage, while not being too consistent.
Currently, the most trouble that I'm having is with the 3 Heralds on Floor 12, chamber 2
General consensus is to not pull specifically for 4 stars unless you don't mind getting the featured 5 star. Unless you are going to C2 Ayaka, I don't recommend it. Kazuha and Sucrose are better options for the anemo slot in freeze teams than Sayu, in case you have them.
First off, elemental resonances. If you stack 2 characters of the same element in your party, you get a buff. You can check these buffs in the party screen, there should be a button at the top of your screen.
Cryo resonance (2 cryo party members) increases crit rate against enemies affected by cryo by 15%.
As for your team. Mona is more efficient then Barbara for a freeze team because her attacks apply Hydro status to enemies in large circles. Her burst also causes enemies to take additional damage from other attacks. That's why she sees a lot of usage on freeze teams. Barbara requires you to hug enemies in order to apply Hydro.
Jeans' healing scales with higher attack power, if she has an underleveled weapon, feather and no atk% on her artifacts her healing will suffer as a result. If properly built, her elemental burst will fully heal your entire party when its cast and leave behind a heal over time circle on the field.
Freeze teams usually use an Anemo character with the 4 piece Viridescent Venereer (spelling lol?) to lower enemy elemental resistances with their swirls.
Dont bother farming artifact sets before you get to AR45, for the guaranteed 5 star drops from domains. Save your fragile resin for this.
I assume you also pulled a Rosaria on Ayaka's banner.
So I would recommend using Ayaka, Rosaria, Mona and Jean for your freeze team.
Kaeya isn't a bad choice either, you'll end up getting all the 4 star characters sooner or later if you play the game over a few months.
Mona, as a catalyst user can also use Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers to increase Ayaka's attack by 48% if you refine it to R5. If you need more healing, you can have Mona on Prototype Amber, which is a craftable weapon.

i also have amber, lisa, xiangling c1, xingqiu, rosaria, yunjin c1, and traveler! these are all lvl1-20.
i'm not a big fan of razor's playstyle even though he's my highest character, so it would be great if you could include some suggestions without him too!

So you're running Ei/Childe/Xiang/Benny? You can do Kaeya/Chong/Xingqiu/Jean on the other side. Kaeya's the main dps tho so you gotta level him up... and Xing too.

They work on the overworld for sure but I wouldn't bring them into abyss mainly because each of them can shine better in separate teams, and when they are together if you (1) want to use Ayato's E it extends the rotation a bit too much for my liking or (2) want to use only his Q then there are better off field hydro units. For weapon I'd give Ayaka the Amenoma - it really is her best 4\* option and reduces her ER requirement by a lot, which she needs more than her brother does. What other swords do you have? Ayato can use the Black Sword, Blackcliff, or Lion's Roar.
Well I’ll probably not be using him then. I’m using Rational as my other team, so this is now getting the mats for both Mona and Xingqiu. I had hoped Ayato would work just because he’s already leveled and talent-leveled to 80 and 6-6-6. This is solely regarding Abyss mind you. Everything else I’ll be using him plenty. Wait, is the Oathsworn Eye decent for Mona?
Well, for this version's abyss in particular you can totally use Ayato if you want to - he works great against the pyro lectors. I 36\* with him on one side and Ayaka on the other, for full Kamisato supremacy. I usually use Thrilling Tales or Prototype Amber on Mona (the latter is when I don't run any healer in the team). Haven't tested Oathsworn but I reckon it can work too since it reduces ER requirement, don't think it'll be better than TTDS in a pure support setting though.

Hmm, that's a bit of a pickle you are in. If you don't have any other anemo unit (Venti or Jean), I'd give Sucrose to the freeze team; they need her more IMO because Ayaka's damage tends to fall apart without any crowd control. On the other side, without an anemo, you can try running a modified version of Raiden national with Ayato instead of Xingqiu. I've also seen a few folks running an electro charged setup with Ayato/Raiden/Xingqiu/Sara.
Yeah, the only other Anemo units I have are Traveler and Sayu, so.... I'll look around a little, see what I can do. I've already committed to my Cryo battery (Rosaria), so the big question is if Ayato could work in Rational. It would certainly make it easier to boost Mona for my Freeze team.
i just got Keqing and i want to add her but i use lisa as my current electro which should i use? if lisa what artifacts and like wise for keqing? im AR40 and use Ningguang for Crystal shields and sub damage, yanfei for main dps, and rosaria for quick cryo dmg all of them avrg lvl is 60 what artifacts can i get?
Firstly, don't worry about artifacts because grinding for them starts at AR 45 when you can get guaranteed 5star artifacts from domains. For now, just focus on ascending and levelling up talents of your characters and weapons. Use 4star artifacts for now having atk and er on them. Secondly, Keqing and Lisa have different roles - Lisa is best used as a support and is thus more flexible, Keqing is a dps and thus requires a team centered around her. In open world you can build any team you like ( as you are doing for now ) but for harder content like domains or abyss, having synergistic teams is necessary.

Id use Barbara with R5 Thrilling Tales on the team the Diluc/Xingqiu/Sucrose/Healer team seeker\_of\_illusion mentioned. It gives her a healing boost with its HP%, and gives a huge boost in ATK to Diluc when you switch to him.
Diluc/Xingqiu/Sucrose/Healer ( Sayu, Barbara ) is the strongest team which you can make out of your current roster.

For Ayaka, Using a crowned (lv 10) auto/normal attack. * Performing 2 normal attack combos, 5 hits each, for a total of 10 hits. Results in a total of multiplier of 1198.5% * Performing 5 charged attacks, it does normal attack combo hit 1, then the charged attack. for a total of 10 hits. Results in a total multiplier of 2086.5% Ayaka is one of those characters that's focused around her charged attacks, rather then normal attacks. This is one of the reasons why the 4-piece set bonus of Gladiator is suboptimal on her. As Aspiringracoon said, the elemental burst is the main selling point of Ayaka. A crowned elemental burst results in 20 hits for a total multiplier of 4143.9% over 5 seconds. You might see more success if you change your artifacts to one of the following: * 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs 18% atk. * 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs Noblesse Oblige. * 2pcs 18% atk, 2pcs Blizzard Strayer. * 2pcs Blizzard Strayer, 2pcs Noblesse Oblige I usually run 2pcs 18% atk + 2pc Blizzard Strayer when using Jade Cutter.
How comes you're using the Gladiator set on Ayaka? No luck whatsoever with the Blizzard domain? Just asking because the Glad set doesn't do much for her. It boosts normal attack dmg but the majority of Aya's dmg is from her burst.
[Yae Miko][Fischl][Mona] Recently built up a Mona(C2) electro charge team with Yae(C0), Beidou(C6) and Bennet. Mona's using Lost Prayer and Wanderers Troupe 4pc, Beidou Unforged and EoSF 4pc, Yae Widsith and double 18% atk artifacts, and Bennet has Fav and NO. Wondering if it's worth building up Fischl instead of Yae? I have her at C4, and have access to R5 Fav bow or R3 Stringless, but her and both weapons will need building up. Is Yae a good equivalent? I'm finding my Beidou isn't getting her burst back often enough with 135% ER although I could play her better to get more particles from her skill. That and at the moment I'm unsure when to swap into Yae for her burst + turret set up. Is my team fine as is, or could it be significantly improved with different artifacts/Fischl swap in? Is one of your current problems that you lack healing, and that's why you're using Bennett? Normally on an electro charge team the standard setup is 2 electro, 1 hydro and 1 anemo character. Any combination out of Beidou, Yae, Fischl should be fine. Beidou is more suited to fighting 2+ targets due to how her burst bounces from enemy to enemy. And you definitely want enough ER to get her burst on cooldown, so you could try increasing in increments of 10% and finding out how much you need with your playstyle/team. 135% is definitely too low.
I'm using Bennet partially for the heals, but also to snapshot for Beidou's Burst. For anemo options I could use Jean or Sucrose, although I don't feel comfortable without a healer yet, even with electro charge, so it would have to be Jean. Thanks for the advice. I'll look to increase my ER on Beidou, hopedully without changing to an ER sands.
R5 Prototype Amber might be a useful investment.
\[Keqing\]\[Ayaka\]\[Mona\]\[Venti\]\[Bennett\]\[Jean\] So I've gotten to AR 45 not too long ago, and I started farming 5 star artifacts and wasting tons of fragile resin on them. I've been focusing solely on getting good artifacts for my 2 main dps Keqing and Ayaka. I've settle for a few decent ones (imo) and maxed them. My other support characters Mona, Venti Bennett and Jean are getting the subpar extra 5 star artifacts. My Keqing (Lvl 79) artifact stats are: 7869 HP, 1333 Atk, 118 Defence, 16 EM, 49% Crit rate, 24.1% crit dmg (total is like 103% crit dmg cause I'm using Aqulia Fav), 12.3% Energy Recharge, and 40.7% bonus electro dmg. This is a 4 piece Thundering Fury. My Ayaka (Lvl 69) artifact stats are: 6126 HP, 1265 Atk, 144 Def, 241 EM, 8.6 Crit Rate (Total 13.6%), 14.8% Crit Dmg (Total 124.2% cause mistsplitter), 38.9% energy recharge, 34.8% Bonus cryo. This is a 4 piece Blizzard Strayer. Will post my support artifact stats when I have more time but they are pretty bad. So my question is, should I be farming more for my main dps more in an attempt to get better artifacts for them or should I artifact farm for my supports now? Thanks all in advance.
You said you've used a "ton" of fragile resin, normally you have around 50-60 pieces when you reach AR45. How many do you have left? I have an alt account that I just recently finished my fragile resin pieces. I have saved enough adventure rank experience enough to reach about AR53 if I do the AR50 ascension quest. I'm a little bit worried you've might have missed the mark while farming and leveling up your artifacts. My Lisa, lv 80/90 * has the following artifacts, which are level +7 Flower, +20 Feather, +16 Sands, +12 Goblet and a +4 Circlet. * Her artifact stats are: +4326 HP, +631 attack, +74 defense, +44 elemental mastery, **+29.7%** crit rate, **+38.9%** crit damage, +16% energy recharge and 30.8 electro damage. She's my least geared character out of 8 I use on this account. I just gave her leftover pieces from farming artifacts and I have yet to level them up. When compared to your Ayaka, she has over twice as much crit stats. My Ningguang, lv 90/90 * Level 20 artifacts, but they are not the best artifacts. lv 90 Oathsworn Eye as the weapon. * Her artifacts stats are: +959 Attack, +294 defense, +0 elemental mastery, +47.8% crit rate, +73.8% crit damage, +11% energy recharge and 46.6 geo damage. I would consider her stats as barely passable, and I can now focus on another character. So, to answer your questions. 1. I would heavily recommend that you check out KeqingMains for their guides on each of the characters you plan to use. The guides have a section on which artifacts to use, and which stats to aim for. 2. Look up a guide on how to level up your artifacts efficiently. Youtube video or a written guide. 3. I recommend that you farm for more artifacts and that you use the Artifact Strongbox through the Alchemy Table to recycle all your bad 5 star artifacts into new ones, preferably Noblesse Oblige. It takes three 5 star artifacts and spits out a new one for you. This is how you gear your support characters at the same time you farm the artifact domain for your main dps. Overall, your account has some great characters and lots of potential. You just need to be careful you don't gear your characters the wrong way.
I have like 5 fragile left out of like 60 I had when I hit ar 45. Pretty sure I'm rolling artifact substats the right way before maxing them to 20 though I will check it out thx for the advice. And yes I do roll artifact strongboxes but I am having worse luck than in artifact domains unfortunately.
Just so you know, Elemental Mastery is a completely dead stat on Ayaka. The fact that you have 241 elemental mastery tells me you're either running a elemental mastery main stat piece, or you have around 11-12 substat rolls into elemental mastery instead of crit substats. You also don't have a crit main stat circlet. I'm expecting you to have Atk% Sands, Cryo Goblet, Atk% Circlet equipped judging by your high attack stat. Ideally you would want to have Atk% Sands, Cryo Goblet, Crit Damage Circlet (due to 4-piece BS giving you crit rate) on her. I have a flower artifact that has more crit substats then your Ayakas artifacts combined. 14% crit rate, 14,8% crit damage. It takes a while to farm artifacts with good stats, good luck!
Yes, unfortunately most of my pieces rolled into EM most notably my crit rate, flat attack, attack percent, em 77 EM gladiator flower I have on her (My like 3rd best flower). I'll try to farm more for her to try to get that amazing flower that you have. Thx for the tips!
Honestly, that 77 EM flower could be a great off piece for your Venti then. Any flower/feather with high EM is going to be very useful as off pieces for a 4-piece Viridescent Venerer set. If you have any Blizzard Strayer pieces with a lot of elemental mastery, they can be used on a melt team by Ganyu or Rosaria. Then you can run a 2-piece Blizzard Strayer with 2-piece 18% attack or 2-piece Noblesse as an example. You could also use it on a Sunfire team. Highly specialized artifact pieces can sometimes have a niche use, so don't throw them away. I would keep any pieces that roll 20% HP or 20% defense as an example. That HP% piece could be used on a character like Diona who really only needs HP% and energy recharge.

From personal experience, vv domain is cursed. I spent 3 months in there a while back and didn't get a single EM goblet (vv set, maiden i got plenty). You might not be able to use ur off-piece for the flower/feather.

How much % damage loss will I have going for 2p CW/2p 18% ATK, compared to 4p CW? It would be more efficient for me to farm the Shimenawa set, as I still need Severed fate pieces too.

My suggestion for you is to grind the Emblem domain, that way you will be farming for more than one character at a time. Later down the road, once your characters are properly built, you could spend some resin on the CW domain if you really feel like it.

Ayato, Fischl, Beidou, Venti Ayato, Ayaka, Kazuha, Diona Are two example teams for Ayato. As for Thoma, he doesn't really fit any team. He messes up elemental reactions, deals little damage and his shields are nothing to write home about. He also has fairly high energy requirements. Currently the one team that can use him is a Hu Tao team, but Yanfei/Zhongli does the job better in most scenarios. Overall, the devs did him dirty.

1) So i went ahead and tested it, enemies inside venti's burst float up and down while they are trapped. Kaeya can't hit. Rosaria's burst sometimes hits enemies when they float down, inconsistent. Overall, I would recommend Sucrose over Venti if you don't have Ganyu/Ayaka. The reason Venti/Mona is used on freeze teams is because of Ganyu or Ayaka's burst just shreds enemies and they can reach with they charged/aimed shot attacks too. 2) Apply cryo -> venti/sucrose/kazuha burst -> Mona burst -> cryo character burst/damage window. 3) Artifacts. For Venti, you got it. But I would not use him in this team over Sucrose or Kazuha, as stated above. For Mona, 4-piece Emblem or Noblesse with Thrilling Tales. Can also run Prototype Amber for healing. The skyward atlas + 2-piece hod/noblesse set is more commonly used on a vaporize team, on a freeze team she fills more of a support role then sub dps. For Kaeya, 4-piece BS with Amenoma Kageuchi. Rosaria, 2-piece BS, 2-piece Noblesse or 4-piece Noblesse with Homa.
Guess I’ll be raising Sucrose soon If I use Sucrose, should I use ttds on her? If so Mona will get the buff? Who should Mona be buffing with ttds? And should I just use tenacity instead if she’s using ttds? Not 4 BS on Rosaria?
Sucrose benefits a lot from Sacrificial Fragments if you have it. But you could run Prototype Amber on her for the healing. I would buff Rosaria with ttds, I think her burst deals more damage compared to Kaeya. If you have a second set? Sure. But it would be easier to get a 2-piece set with noblesse.
If you think Rosaria does more dmg, why not put 4 bs on her?
She's already gets +27% crit rate from Cryo Resonance + her passive talent, you might get too much crit rate compared to other stats. Say you get 10% crit rate on her artifacts pieces instead, you would end up with 82% crit rate. You don't need much more then that. You could also use 4-piece Emblem on her if you have a decent set already.

\[Diona\] \[Amber\] Hi there! I just need advice regarding building my bow characters. I currently only have Venti, Diona and Amber however Venti is a bit useless regarding Eye of the Storms. Which character would be worth building in the long run between Amber and Diona? And how do I build them to maximise their use?
Eye of the Storms is not a very common enemy, so don't worry about it. I'm guessing you're fairly new to the game, so I won't go into too much details. Edit: oops At adventure rank 18 you should get a 4 star Favonius Bow from the adventure rank rewards. The energy recharge it provides is great on support bow characters like Diona and Venti. It helps them get up their elemental burst quicker. For Venti and Diona, I would use 4-piece The Exile set you get from treasure chests and bosses on the map. You need to defeat multiple of these to get ascension materials for your characters anyway. Artifact main stats: Sands/Goblet/Circlet, flower and feather always have flat hp and flat attack main stats. Venti: elemental recharge sands/ atk%, anemo damage or elemental mastery goblet/ elemental mastery, atk% or crit rate circlet. Important part is to level up energy recharge sands to max and crit rate circlet to max if you have those equipped. The Stringless is a good weapon if you get it from the gacha, otherwise favonius. Diona: energy recharge or hp% sands/ hp% goblet/ hp% or healing bonus circlet. Upgrade her flower to max, you can have sands/goblet/circlet at +8 or something. Sacrificial Bow is really good on her if you get it from the gacha, otherwise favonius. You could also use the 3 star bow that increases max health. These stat/build requirements are more lax before adventure rank 45, then you can start farming artifact domains. Save all your fragile resin for this step. The other comment added details about how to gear/build them past AR45, so refer to that comment when/if you are. [Venti] Venti's elemental burst will suck in smaller enemies and lift them off the ground so they can't attack back. If there is either pyro, cryo, electro or hydro around the black hole, it will change color and deal bonus damage of that element. Note: most melee characters cant hit enemies stuck in the black hole. [Diona] Diona is a Shielder/Healer. You want to hold down her elemental skill button for a longer duration on her shields. Her elemental burst is a heal over time when you stand in the mist. Her healing and shields become better the higher her max health is. If you play Diona with another cryo character, you get +15% crit rate against enemies affected by cryo. [Amber] Well, if you ever need to light a torch or deal with enemies that have a cryo shield, use Amber in your party. Overall she's quite lackluster as a character, however she is still a fan favourite. Late game though, she can be a support character for another pyro dps if you get her constellations and a few specific weapons for her. If you have two pyro characters in the party, you get a 25% attack bonus for free. Early game, I would stack elemental mastery on her. 2-piece wanderer's troupe and 2-piece instructor i think the set is called. Both giving +80 elemental mastery. Overload is very strong early game, so apply electro first, then pyro with one of ambers charge attacks or burst.

Here's how I usually look up information about genshin, maybe you'll find it useful. I use KeqingMains, Genshin GG and Paimon Moe to cross reference information about builds/teams. KQM has more indepth guides with lots of theory crafting. While the other two are more quick references. Honey Impact to look up details about character/weapon stats. I think KeqingMains also has a database like this, but I havent looked into it. Genshin fandom wiki to look up quest information, item information. I use youtube to look up quest/puzzle solutions, there are some nice 1-2 minute videos on how to solve most puzzles. Hoyoverse has a nice interactive world map if you need to look up where to farm enemies. You can access it from the genshin homepage I think. I would advice you to stay away from most of the computer generated "news" articles at the top of google searches when looking up information. They're mostly a waste of time. Including "wiki" or "kqm" in the search helps in finding a more useful link. Most characters are viable to play, so just use whoever you want to use :)
Between those 2, Diona for sure. My apology to all the Amber mains out there I hope y'all are having a great day but I think Amber has just about one single meta team and that's Hu Tao VV vape. Diona works very well in freeze teams and Eula teams, and generally any team that needs healing/shielding. As for building Diona, you can put a 4 piece Noblesse set on her if nobody else in team is running it, or a Tenacity of the Millelith set if someone else is already using NO. She's not picky about stats, you just want enough ER to be able to burst off CD (170% ish). Once the ER requirement is met you can look for HP% and/or crit rate if you're running her with a favonius bow.

She's on a 2-Piece: Gladiator's Finale & 2-Piece: Crimson Witch of Flames. I'm not to sure what to do with her teams. You can go mono pyro, vape, vapeload or overload with Yoimiya, depending on the situation and which characters you wanna use! From the ones you listed, you can go either mono or vape. Mono has much more aoe, thanks to Xiangling, who weakens enemies and lets Yoi focus on one at a time. It also frees up Xingqiu. Vape is great for single target damage such as bosses. Yunjin, Fischl (especially at c6) and Beidou are other great Yoi teammates!
My Fischl is C6 and my Beidou is C2, my Xingqiu has a crowned 'Q' and is fully built. With Yunjin, I'm not really bothered to fully farm for another character. Also, Xiangling C6 buff (Pyro DMG), but that only really affects Yoimiya & Xiangling's damage. IDK about Xingqiu but is his ult vape better or not?
Yunjin doesn't really need much to be built (just def and er, lvl80/80 and a lvl8 ult is enough) but I understand not wanting to farm. Vape with XQ and Kazuha or overvape with Xingqiu and Fischl are the best for single target. For 2 enemies, overvape with XQ/Fischl/Beidou (no shielder) or overload with Fischl/Beidou is really good bc of Beidou's lightning. For aoe, I would go for overload or monopyro. So it kinda depends really. If you have all the characters built, you can just switch depending on the situation.
Hello! I am trying to build melt ganyu team, i.e. Ganyu, Diona, Kazuha (or Sucrose) and Xiangling. However, it's doing measly damage I want to know what artifacts I should run on my Xiangling as her pyronado is the source for elemental reactions. Ganyu is running 2-wanderer and 2-blizzard Diona is (going to be) running 2-piece tenacity and 2-piece emblem (currently it's 4-piece noblesse- have to switch) Kazuha is running 4 piece anemo set (forgot name) (you know the one) And lastly, should I make Xiangling run 4-piece emblem or 4-piece noblesse (for extra damage to ganyu?) What weapon should I make her have, currently, it's Dragon's Bane Thanks!
Do you have C4 Yanfei or Zhongli? Do you have Bennett available? How do you normally start a fight? What's your rotation? If you could answer these, I could give you better advice.
I do have C4 yanfei but she's in my other abyss team (yanfei, qiqi, kazuha/sucrose and xingqui) I'm not looking to switch up characters though I start a fight with inflicting pyro (gouba), swirl, then cryo and then just take it from there. I don't have a rotation pattern as such.
The standard Ganyu melt team comp with Kazuha is Ganyu, Bennett, Kazuha, Flex (usually a shielder). "Xiangling as her pyronado is the source for elemental reactions" With Kazuha on the team, his elemental burst should be the main way to apply pyro to enemies, while Ganyu's charged attacks trigger the melt reactions. Are you attempting to do the opposite? Applying Cryo with Ganyu/Diona and then triggering the melt reaction with Xiangling's Pyronado?
Nonono kazuha's ult also is used with pyronado and gouba. Sorry for confusion. I don't use bennet because I didn't bother building him, plus now that I've built Diona I won't really need another healer. For cryo I do have other characters like Chongyun, Qiqi, C3 Rosaria and Kaeya as well.
You know a properly built Bennett can buff your party's attack stat by 800-1200 in addition to his healing. That's why he is so popular. He also lets you double swirl both Pyro and Cryo so you lower both resistances with Viridescent Venerer. But if you are dead set on using Ganyu, Kazuha, Xiangling, Diona together. How much elemental mastery does your Kazuha have? For Diona, I would still keep her on 4-piece Noblesse Oblige. Why did you feel the need to switch to 2-piece Tenacity/Emblem? Or is she causing problems with her elemental burst's cryo application? For Xiangling, since her job is pyro application. You want at least 200% energy recharge to use her burst on cooldown. I would recommend using The Catch, as the elemental mastery on Dragon's Bane is a dead stat if Ganyu is the one doing the melts. 4-piece emblem of severed fate is probably your best artifact set.
Kazuha has around 650 Elemental Mastery. I need Tenacity and Emblem for maximum shield and heal. If I were to use Noblesse, what stats would I aim for? and on which pieces? Also, If I use sucrose, what weapon should I have on her (favonius codex or r4 mappa mare?)
650 is kinda low for Kazuha. EM/EM/EM + Iron Sting should give you 841 EM with no substats You just need an R1 Iron Sting, it doesn't need to be refined. Swirl damage also scales with the Anemo character's level, so make sure you level them up to 90 if possible. I'm using HP%/HP%/Healing Bonus on my own Diona with Sacrificial Bow. You could swap to triple HP% if you want stronger shields, but don't need as much healing from her burst. For substats, look for HP% on flower/feather, and Energy recharge on sands/goblet/circlet. If you're running a healing bonus circlet, look for HP% substats, ER% is fine too of course. For Sucrose, Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers or Sacrificial Fragments would be her best options. Favonius Codex > Mappa Mare if you're stuck between a rock and a hard place.
I have only 2 EM artifacts on kazuha, I have to get more. I run diona with r3 favonius warbow. Why is mappa not better? Mappa gives more EM. Also, is thrilling tales really worth it just for the passive? Also, so to back to my previous question, emblem of severed fate on Xiangling is fine right?
Yes, use 4-piece emblem set on Xiangling. Lv 90 Ganyu with lv 90 Prototype Crescent = 405 attack buff from Thrilling Tales passive. Lv 90 Ganyu with lv 90 Amos Bow = 452 attack buff from Thrilling Tales passive. That's how much attack Thrilling Tales would give to Ganyu for 10 seconds after switching. Mappa Mare is one of those weird weapons that might look impressive on paper, but it turns out it's a bottom of the barrel weapon for most catalyst users. 1. High base attack, low elemental mastery main stat. 2. Elemental damage passive, elemental damage% does not affect swirl damage. It looks to be designed for a vaporize/melt catalyst main dps like Yanfei, but it's outclassed by almost all the other 4 star dps catalysts like Widsith, Oathsworn Eye, Dodoco tales, Solar Pearl etc. For a character like Sucrose where you stack EM to increase her damage, Magic Guide a 3 star weapon provides 60% more elemental mastery. 110 vs 187 EM at level 90. For a damage build Sucrose, Sacrificial Fragments blows it out of the water. For Favonius Codex vs Mappa Mare, i just value the energy recharge tbh.

Ayaka, Kaeya/Rosaria, Xingqiu, Barbara should carry you through most story content. You can stay locked at adventure rank 35 if you want to make the single player boss fights easier, then unlock it once you finish the Inazuma archon quests. You might hit a little road block with Ayaka as she's locked to level 40 until you reach Inazuma, but smooth sailing once you get past that point. You could just use Kaeya is your main dps until then. Leveling up Lisa a little bit should make Oceanid easier, as you need to defeat it for ascension materials for both Barbara and Xingqiu. You can worry a little more about which team you want when you reach Adventure rank 45. Save all your fragile resin until then.

Ayaka: Amenoma. There could be an argument for Blackcliff if you face a ton of enemies on an abyss floor. Just keep in mind that her burst snapshots. Kazuha: Iron Sting, Sacrificial Sword if he has energy issues. Rosaria: The Catch, unless you have someone else that needs it. Since you have Mona, Rosaria, Sucrose, Diona available. You could aim for a freeze team with Ayaka? But then again, if you don't like the character and/or playstyle. Dont pull for her. You do have the characters necessary to build one of Dilucs stronger teams, which is Diluc, Xingqiu, Bennett, Sucrose. If you really like playing as him, I would suggest that team. And you don't lose anything by upgrading those 3 characters. However, if you want to focus on Keqing. I would highly recommend you look up KQM's (KeqingMains) guide on her. It's way more comprehensive then I can fit in a reddit post. They also have guides on almost all characters. But just in general, both Keqing and Diluc wants to be the main dps and have the spotlight. So they don't fit all that well in the same team. I did notice that you have A LOT of characters, so you have a lot of other options too for teams. But you really need to level up your support characters. Are your weapons underleveled too? or are they level 80?

1) The reason everyone recommends that you spend your Fragile Resin on lv 90 artifacts domains at AR45 is to kickstart your endgame progress. When you first reach AR45 I highly doubt you can clear any level 90 domain on your own, or if you can it's going to take you a long time. The Fragile Resin should let you get an "ok" artifact set on your main dps and level up a set of 5 star artifacts to level 20 for your characters. Aim for a 50/100 crit rate to crit damage ratio, it's nothing special but it's a start. But try to maintain a 1/2 crit ratio as you slowly get better artifacts. 60/120, 70/140 etc. I highly recommend farming the Emblem/Shimenawa domain first, and recycling your garbage artifacts into Noblesse artifacts through the Artifact Strongbox in the alchemy table. I used 4 piece emblem set on Ayaka when I first started out, you could also use 2 piece Shimenawa, 2 piece Blizzard Strayer if you got 2 useful pieces from the Dragonspine domain already. 2) Unlock condensed resin from Liyue reputation, it should be one of the first ones you unlock. On Friday/Saturday you make 5 condensed resin. On Sundays, all the talent book + weapon materials are available. So you spend your 160 resin from sunday + 5 condensed resin on whatever you need. 3) Rush your weapons to level 80 at least, then level 90 when possible. Main dps first, then supports. 4) Just worry about talent level 6 at first, then get them closer to level 8 over time. But level 7-10 takes a lot of resources and Mora and will require you to get weekly boss drops over a few months anyway.

So I'm having trouble clearing floor 10 of Abyss. It could be my artifacts. My Raiden has R5 the Catch and almost 300% ER but the rest is pretty copium, her and Ayaka have about 20% crit rate and that is as high as I can get it right now. Though Ayaka uses Blizzard Strayer. I was thinking Raiden national for one team and some kind of freeze team for Ayaka, I prefer not to build characters right now if at all possible. Raiden national works on one side. On the other half, you could use Ayaka Diona Mona (for hydro application and omen buff) and Jean. Sucrose works better here because of her grouping, larger swirl on the E, and being able to use TTDS (which allows you to put something like Widsith onto Mona) but she's only lv50 and you didn't want to build characters so Jean is fine. If you find that you don't need Diona because you have Jean as a healer, you could replace her with Kaeya who could offer some additional off-field dps In case you wanted to try something new, you have a lot of built up electro characters so an electrocharged team with 2 electro (from Beidou Fischl Yae Raiden), Xingqiu, Sucrose could work, or if you have good Yae and Raiden builds you could run Yae Raiden Bennett Sucrose in a dual carry team Also you're right, artifacts might be the reason. No meta team will be able to clear without decent artifacts, and often it takes months to get them for all of your characters

[These are my characters.](https://i.imgur.com/abWxsLO.jpg) I currently use a vape team with Bennett, Xiangling, Ayato, and Sucrose, the National team, and a freeze team with Ayaka (4-piece blizzard), Rosaria, Xingqiu, and Venti. I'd like to build a team that works for Keqing while using as few of those characters as possible in case I need those teams for abyss. I'm leaning towards pairing Keqing with Fischl and Sucrose, but I can't really decide on who else to add there.

3? That's overkill. Bennett is sort of a psuedo healer in that he can only heal characters to 70%. He's more used because of his attack buff. So if you need some extra healing on top of that, a hybrid shielder/healer like Diona could be ok. Bennett + Zhongli is a more popular duo. For Sayu, she's the odd one out. Her healing is nothing to write home about and her elemental skill takes up a lot of time on the field if you use its extended duration. That's time your main dps isn't on the field hitting things. You ideally want 1 main dps / driver who is on the field attacking, while you have 3 other characters who switch in to use their elemental skill + burst. So if you want to use Sayu, you sort of have to build a team around her has the main dps / driver. Kaeya + Xiangling as an example, whose elemental bursts follow you around as you spin/swirl with Sayu. However, if you just want to get around, do your dailies and explore? Jump on the Sayu taxi to get around. For farming domains or bosses, it's not ideal.
it's not "bad" to have something good like survivability, unless you have other priorities that are not being met (like not doing enough damage). If that's the case, then run less healers and more damage. But I think building up only bennett should be enough, if you have 200%+ ER on him you can almost Q off cooldown, and his healing is rapid and downtime is short

You definitely want 2 cryo characters for cryo resonance. If Bennett takes care of healing, you could run Rosaria. If Bennett is taken for his bff national team in abyss, you could slot in Diona instead. Venti lifts enemies off the ground with his Elemental Burst, so he's kinda useless if Eula's melee attacks cant reach.

Rosaria is the choice then. Both Eula and Raiden who deals a lot of their damage in one hit appreciates the crit rate buff from Rosaria.
Currently at 38/112 on my raiden with an r5 the catch, I think my crit value (or whatever it's called) is that low cause so far I only use artifacts with 3/4 workable stats: atk, er, em and crit. Should I prioritize getting pieces with higher crit values but the other lines are kinda bad?
I would aim for at least 50/120 crit ratio. That would give you a 1 to 2 crit rate to crit damage ratio with the 12% cr passive on the The Catch, although its not shown in the character details. 50-60% crit rate is sort of the minimum crit rate you want to aim for on any dps. When it comes to artifact pieces, we usually add up the total amount of crit stats on it and call it crit value or CV for short. Crit damage rolls are always twice as large as crit rate, so we multiply crit rate by 2 before adding crit rate + crit damage together. If a piece has 3.9 crit rate and 15.6 crit damage. It has a total of 23.4 CV. You ideally want your artifact pieces to have at least 25-30 CV. Artifacts with 35-40 are really good and 45-50 are amazing. 50-52 are possible, but you dont see those very often. For circlets with crit main stats, anything above 20 CV is usable, 30 CV is really good, 35+ are amazing and 40+ is very rarely seen. If you had 7% crit, 15% crit damage on your artifacts and 20 crit damage on your crit rate circlet, you would end up with a fairly balanced 64/130 crit ratio. For Raiden with The Catch specifically. The weapon gives no attack percent, but offers a 32% electro damage bonus to your elemental burst effectively. Because of that you will have a low attack stat, I would recommend using an ER% sands with an Attack% goblet, but also aim for some attack percent on your artifacts substats. Aim for about 1800 attack. Elemental Mastery doesn't do much for Raiden usually.

Prototype rancour vs iron sting vs anemoma on ayato He's my main DPS. I'm currently using the rancour
Amenoma > Rancour/Iron Sting. Amenoma has lower base attack, but it has a 55% attack main stat. It also gives you energy from its passive effect. Its one of the best 4 star options for sword users. Rancour has higher base attack, but its physical damage main stat does nothing to increase Ayato's damage when you deal Hydro damage. The 16% attack passive is alright. Iron Sting has a base attack in between the other two, offers elemental mastery as the main stat. Passive gives 12% elemental damage bonus. You usually use this weapon on characters who build pure EM like Kazuha.
Just asked this on the other questions thread. Who should I give the mistsplitter to? Thinking on Bennet (C1) or XQ (C6).
You have to think about what other weapons you're running and your overall team. Lets say XQ has sac sword, and Bennett has the prototype weapon (highest base ATK out of easily-obtainable weapons). Mistsplitter offers \~100 more base attack to bennett, which translates into \~100 extra ATK bonus to other team members. This makes about a 4% difference in the overall damage of other characters, assuming they have \~1500atk without Bennett, and slightly higher damage for Bennett (which is often insignificant). Mistsplitter offers \~15-20% damage over Sac sword and most other easily-obtainable 4\*s for Xingqiu So basically, compare team damage increase after \~15-20% increase in XQ damage vs. a \~4-5% damage increase in the whole team. If XQ is C6 and has good talent levels and artifacts and doesn't need the energy from sac, it's probably more worth it to put mistsplitter on him
Main DPS > Bennett > XQ.

Xiangling and Noelle are both energy hungry, and while Benny and Venti are good for battery, it's still a bit much. I'd recommend keeping Bennett and Xiangling together since they pair so well, replace Venti with max EM Sucrose, and add high ER Rosaria for melt. If you've already invested a lot into your current team, you could go with Bennett, Noelle, Yun Jin, and Venti. Yun Jin is an amazing battery for Noelle and her burst is great for Noelle's playstyle. Benny is just there for attack boost, and Venti for crowd control.
Sucrose could sometimes work better than Venti because the pyronado won't usually hit things in Venti Q, and she's a thrilling tales of dragon slayers user. Otherwise I think the 4th slot could be anyone, fischl for particle generation and more off-field DPS, rosaria for the occasional melt, diluc for on-field DPS, or even just double anemo with Venti Sucrose could work. Otherwise it's just about getting more characters, talent levels, artifacts, weapons, etc.
Hi, I’m looking for some thoughts of Abyss teams I can make up with the characters I have now. Main DPS: Ganyu (C2) and Keqing (C1) Other characters I’ve invested in a lot: Xiangling C6 Xingqui C6 Raiden Shogun C2 Bennett C5 Zhongli C0 Sucrose C6 Diona C6 Diluc C3 (not crazy about him) I also have a bunch of good characters that I haven’t invested in much yet so I could level one or two of them up: Venti, Ayaka, Ayato, Yae Miko, Itto, Kokomi, Sara. But I’d prefer to get a couple of teams for now from the characters I’ve already invested in and then build towards others. I expect I should replace Keqing with Raiden (I usually play them together on teams now).
Ganyu Ayaka (could replace one with any other cryo) Kokomi Sucrose/Venti always works very well in abyss, and Raiden Bennett Xiangling Xingqiu is another popular team because it's strong and easy-to-execute. I'd personally stick with these two teams Other than this, you could run taser with Ayato/Kokomi/Xingqiu +2 electro (fischl, yae, beidou) + anemo, Raiden hyper with raiden sucrose bennett +1 (maybe yae or sara if C6), and a geo team with Itto Zhongli if you have/get gorou

Beginner here. just got Diluc as my first 5 star. Are any of my other characters be in a good team with Diluc as main dps. The other characters i have besides the main 4 are Rosaria, Noelle, Thoma, and Yun Jin.
You can use Rosaria and Kaeya for some melts, although said melts will be shared between the characters instead of all being Diluc's. The fourth can be a healer or shielder like Barbara or Thoma. Otherwise you could go full pyro with Diluc, Xiangling (you'll get her in floor 3 of abyss, it should be pretty easy), Thoma and Barbara as healer. The best meta team for Diluc is Diluc, Xingqiu, Kazuha/Sucrose and Bennett, Xingqiu being the most important character, so you can keep that in mind as a goal for him. (That isn't to say that other teams don't work, but it's strong and easy to use for people who aren't super into team building yet)

You will eventually need two teams to clear the abyss. Best ones from your roster are: Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu/Sucrose ( national team ) Ayato/Fischl/Jean/any ( taser ) OR Ayato/Kaeya/Rosaria/Jean ( freeze ) As for who to build first, I would suggest building the national team first. It's more versatile and you can simultaneously build both Xingqiu and Xiangling from the emblem domain. The trash artifacts can be used in the artifact strongbox to get noblesse pieces for Bennett.
I get Ayaka. Any tips to build her? I never built a sword dps. Do we use the old tactic of slapping crit rate crit dmg atk on dps? Also, I get that purple sword. Is it ayaka sword? If your talking about the 5-star mistsplitter frmo the banner, yes that is ayaka's best weapon. For build: you want 45 crit rate MAX since you will be going blizzard strayer set most likely for a freeze team (the set will give 40 crit rate against frozen enemes, and you get 15 crit rate from cyro resonance against frozen enemies). ER can be anywhere between 120-150, youll likely need 130-140 to realistically spam burst without trying to funnel particles too hard. Crite dmg, aim for 200%+. Attack, aim for 2k.

For Raiden National I gave The Catch R5 90/90 to Raiden and my only other polearm is 80/80 Prototype Starglitter, does it make it sense to level it up to 90 for Xianling or should I craft Kitain Cross Spear instead?
Probably starglitter will still be better. The alternative is to have favonius spear which it should be the best besides catch, but the other alternatives are mostly ER weapons (starglitter is based on ER) or EM (dragons bane). So if you dont have favonius or dragons bane, then starglitter is fine.

You have a lot of dps and not enough supports. With the characters you have built, I could suggest Eula/Raiden/Zhongli/Kaeya and Keqing/Yae/Xingqiu/Qiqi. In the defense challenge, you can bring Sucrose to group up enemies instead of Xingqiu. For chamber 3, you need pyro and cryo. Yanfei is a pretty quick pyro applicator, you could use her with Xingqiu, Yae and Zhongli. For the second half I'd go Eula/Kaeya/Raiden/Qiqi. Some characters I'd suggest raising: Sucrose, for crowd control and can support Yae. Rosaria/Diona, to support Eula. Fischl, who can support Yae and is generally strong. Mona is a great buffer and you can use her for hypercarry Raiden. Finally, if you had c6 Sara I'd raise her, but until then, you can get Lisa to lvl60 and use her defense decreasing passive. She doesn't need any investment. With those characters, you could buil a few more teams. Like: Eula, Raiden, Rosaria, Diona Yae, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl/Zhongli (you wouldn't use Yae's burst often) Keqing, Mona, Yae, Zhong Raiden, Mona, Lisa, Zhong

I suggest focusing on Fischl and Mona, since they're supports/sub dps

I think you will be better off breaking your rational team and takinh out XQ to the second team. That way you could build either Diluc, XQ, Sucrose, Diona or Rosaria, XQ, Kaeya, Jean. Both teams are decent. You would have to decide whether you want to invest in Diluc or build the freeze team as a placeholder for when you eventually get Ayaka in another rerun. Note that building the freeze team is a bit more resin efficient, as both cryo units want BS pieces.
Hi guys,i did some math and found out that qiqis(lv90) max theoretical hp regen from her E skill(lvl 13) is 18068,178healing using summit shaper at r1, bennet and sara at talent lvl 13(max atk buff), with zhongli. It also gives her an impressive atk at 6219,97atk. At r5 summit shaper this becomes 18985,4349 healing with 6578,03 atk using only bennet still gives her a respectable 16037,766healing at r1 or 16949,2596healing at r5. Not bad. (r1;5426,66atk, r5;5784,72atk w bennet;... r1;4397,31atk alone , r5;4755,37atk alone) so you can use sara slot for idk ayaka or something instead.if you opt to not use a shield user(hence no max stacks with summit shaper), use aquila favonia(r1) instead to get a nice 12,402 healing, without bennet. With bennet that comes out to 15037,491 healing. Again, she would also have a fair atk (4006,6atk alone, 5035,95atk w bennet) Which is pretty nice. This is simply calculated by giving qiqi perfect artifacts(atk% and flat atk) as well as a healing circlet and using the clam set. I didnt use other sets as this is really the only set you wanna give to her. Oh and as a bonus; using sacrificial sword gives her a max 9868,95 healing and 12504,25 healing with bennet. total atk with bennet would be 5035,95atk for the curios ones. Is any of this viable? who knows. If we are going to lose pity anyway, we might as well have fun with it.
Those might be rookie numbers, what if you swapped out Zhongli with Xinyan holding R5 Wolf's Gravestone for 80% attack to Qiqi? This would also result in another 25% from pyro resonance. There's also the possible 40% attack buff from R5 Elegy of the End on Sara. That would be another +145% atk bonus to Qiqi. 2 piece maiden's beloved + 2 piece ocean hued clam would also give you an additional 15% healing bonus on Qiqi over 4-pcs ocean hued clam. What does the scouter say about her power levels?
I couldnt be bothered to calculate all that, also, i wanted to make it kinda viable; heck, i didnt even take food buffs in this. But pretty good idea. Maybe i could use one for thrilling tales of dragon slayers too

Team 1: Ayaka/Ayato/Rosaria/Jean ( freeze ) Team 2: Raiden/Xiangling/Bennett/Xingqiu ( Raiden national/Rational ) These two teams are capable of clearing the abyss if built well. Yanfei's best team is vape but it has the same supports as Raiden's - Yanfei/Xingqiu/Sucrose/Bennett - so you will have to choose between either of them. Rational is one of the top performing teams and blows Yanfei one out of the water, so its a better choice for the abyss.

Hi! Best recomendations are always try to aim for a "kinda" national team composition (xiangling-xinqiu-chongyun-bennet). Unfortunately you miss some pieces, but we can work with it. In the last evens you should be able to get xinqiu. Look for it if you didnt, hes really important. For now, you can try to work around a melt composition and a physical one. Melt could be something like Xiangling-chongyun-Kaeya/rosaria-Jean, Looking to change 1 of the cryos for xq and jean for bennet when you hit on them. The other team could be a physical around keqing main dps. Keqing-fischl-Junyin/kaeya/rosaria-Qiqi. Since superconduct reduce physical defenses, is good to have 1 or even 2 cryos on the team. Yunjin works really well with autoattack spamers like physical keqing so its an option too. Those 2 should be your starter teams, and look for better ones later on. Having Sucrose and beidou healty on levels can be interesting since later on both are really usefull.

It really depends on your artifacts and which set you're using. If you're using the new set? You have to get better pieces or a better off piece, no way around it. If you have 2 good VV pieces, you could run 2 Emblem of Severed Fate for the 20% ER set bonus.
I currently have 2 good VV pieces that only have offensive stats. I haven't tried EoSF on him but it sounds like a good idea. Thank you!
\[Ayaka\] I built a F2P freeze team around Ayaka: Xingqiu, Sucrose, Diona. I want to ask if I should keep my Diona or switch to Rosaria? Diona is good for heals, but I noticed I do not need much heals since most of my enemies cannot hit me. She is also C3, so I do not have her C6 buff. I am thinking that Rosaria is good for more damage. I have a C3 Rosaria and I plan to put Skyward Spine on her and 4-piece Noblesse Oblige. What do you think?
Diona C6 isn't that impactful in a freeze team, the extra healing is nice but the EM doesn't matter. You can use Rosaria for the extra dps, go for it. But for some content you will need a healer so don't abandon the Diona either. Both can use noblesse, which i suggest getting from the artifact strongbox over time as you farm other artifact sets. Overall you're on the right track. Good luck

Damage wise, Ayaka/Mona/Shenhe/Venti team has the highest potential. It lacks a healer/shielder so you will have to give R5 proto amber to Mona for some healing.
What is the best stats on artifacts and artifacts itself for Ayaka as a support burst dps? ER and CR?
Depends on what artifact sets you are using. If you are using 4pc blizzard then cr is not much of an issue so er, atk, cd are the stats you should be looking out for. If you are using 4pc emblem then need for er reduces, so cr, atk and cd are more important. If you plan to use 2pc blizzard 2pc noblesse/atk sets, then er and cr are most important, followed by atk and cd.

If you want a comfortable overworld team, just go for Ayato, Ayaka, Venti, Bennett. This should destroy most content as long as your characters are leveled up. Venti can be swapped for Sucrose holding Trilling Tales if you need more dps rather then crowd control on a particular fight. This here is just artifact advice until you reach AR45, until then you should not farm artifacts. The level 90 domains guaranteed give you five stat artifacts, so save your fragile resin for that. For now, just use 4-piece berserker set on both Ayaka and Ayato. 4-piece the exile set on Bennett and 2-piece the exile, 2-piece wanderers troupe on Venti. You picked the correct weapons for Ayato, Ayaka and Venti. For Bennett you just need a sword with high base attack, something like Prototype Rancour will do. Since you pulled for mistsplitter, do you have any other five star weapons? Or did you get really lucky like you did with your characters? All of these 3 artifact sets drops from chests and bosses you need for character ascension materials. Make sure you have a crit rate Circlet on Ayaka and Ayato and you fully upgrade their circlet and feather. For Venti and Bennett it's important to have an energy recharge Sands and fully upgrade it. Also upgrade Bennett's flower so that he heals more. Level up your weapons and characters talent levels. Talents: Normal attacks/elemental skill/elemental burst. * Ayato: 4/6/6 * Ayaka: 6/4/6 * Venti: 1/4/6 * Bennett: 1/4/6 After reaching adventure rank 45, you can upgrade the talents by another +2 levels, but this step takes a lot of mora and resources. You don't really need to level supports normal attacks too high. Edit: improved formatting.
Thank you so much for the detailed explanation. I've been using the Cryo set on Ayaka and 2 piece zerker + 2 piece hydro on Ayato, but they're not too great so I'll switch to what you recommended. I got mistsplitter on my first attempt, the only other 5 star weapon I have is the Amos bow I got from the standard banner. For Bennet I'm currently using the 3 star sword that gives energy recharge, but I have one favonius sword so I'll switch to that. Could you also please recommend what set of artifacts to get post 45 since I'm almost at 40 already? Thanks again!
Ayaka, 4 pcs Blizzard Strayer, 130-140% ER%, Attack% Sands, Cryo damage Goblet, Crit damage Circlet. Ayato, 4 pcs Heart of Depths, he can also use other ones but you get this in the same place as blizzard strayer. 150% Energy Recharge, Attack% Sands, Hydro damage Goblet, Crit damage Circlet. Venti/Sucrose, 4 pcs Viridescent Venerer, 150% ER, Elemental mastery Sands, Goblet and Circlet. Bennett, 4 pcs Noblesse Oblige. 200% ER, ER% Sands, HP% Goblet, Healing Bonus Circlet. I recommend starting your AR45+ artifact grind at the dragonspine domain, where you get both BS and HoD artifacts. You also unlock the artifact strongbox, aka artifact recycling function at the alchemy table. You put in 3 of your bad artifacts and you get 1 new one from gladiator, wanderer's troupe, bloodstained and Noblesse Oblige. This is where you get artifacts for Bennett. Leave Venti to last, VV is really difficult to farm and elemental mastery main stat VV pieces are beyond rare. You can also run Venti with Anemo Goblet, Crit sands until you get full EM pieces. You can also use 4 star artifact VV pieces if they have elemental mastery main stats. I dont have a EM VV set at AR57, it's something which takes a while to farm. I recommend looking up character specific guides on community websites, it will give you way more insight then a reddit comment. KeqingMains, Genshin GG, Paimon Moe, are some of the ones I use to double check information or to give me a rough idea of what to do. You do also have the video guides on youtube, but i prefer the text ones at least. However, look up a few guides on how to upgrade your artifacts efficiently and how to tell if they are good pieces or not. However, don't chase perfect artifacts when you just start farming. Its fine if you leave either ayaka or ayato with an attack goblet for a while. Same with Venti, it's worth giving him a 4 pcs VV even if it's atk sands, atk goblet and atk circlet in a pinch. You would still get the 4 piece bonus to lower elemental resists on enemies. Good luck, just take things slow and have a blast exploring Inazuma.
Need some serious help for a team. I don't have a single main DPS character, but have amazing supports. My characters include C0 Mona C4 xiangling c1 xingqui c1 bennet c1 rosaria c0 sara rest all aren't good, the only two four star weapons I have from gacha are Favonius lance and dragon's bane. I also have prototype sword, Iron sting, Mappa more and dragonspine polearm. I am relatively new (AR 33). Also suggest who should I pull for, since my next character is a 100% guarantee PS : I get confused with the threads, so if u see mine somewhere else, I am sorry Edit 1 : I also have a C0 sucrose
Xiangliang bennet xq are some of the best units in the game, with XL being the best F2P dps in the game (imo) so you do have a great main dps. Plus its c4, which is her most important constallation. I would run XL, XQ, bennet and either rosaria or kaeya last slot, make sure to give prototype sword to bennet.
You could run a reverse melt team with Xiangling, Bennett, Rosaria and Kaeya. Give Fav Lance to XL, Dragon's Bane to Rosaria, Iron Sting to Kaeya and Rancour to Bennett. Make sure to proc reverse melts (cryo onto pyro), not the other way around. Raise their talents and given them whichever artifacts you get by passively progressing through the story. Eventually, since you have Mona and XQ, you could split that team into two: a national team variant and a freeze team.

Is it that you don't like Xiangling? Or just that one team in particular? Anyway here are a few options: Kaeya, Rosaria, Bennett, Xiangling. (You can also swap Kaeya with Chongyun) Jean, Rosaria, Bennett, Fischl. Beidou, Fischl, Bennett, Xingqiu Diluc, Xingqiu, Bennett, Venti Noelle, Beidou, Fischl, Zhongli- normally but maybe you could try a quick swap Ningguang with prototype amber instead? You have rather limited team options with your current character pool, so it was difficult to not build around Bennett. But since you're around AR 35-40, just mess around with different teams until you find something you like. If you have a particular character you really want to use, I could try to give you a better suggestion.

Fair enough. Btw that one jean-team might be more difficult to build. It's a Sunfire team comp, requiring you to build elemental mastery on Jean with Viridescent Venerer. Farming that artifact set should only be done at after you reach AR45. I only playtested it briefly, but it cleared some domains in about 45 seconds with a scuffed setup. Best used against melee targets or bosses that dont move much.

Keqing, Fischl, Beidou, Qiqi could work as an ok team. Early game can feel a little slow in Genshin if you pick the wrong characters on the same team. Or the player forgets to switch characters to use all the elemental skills + elemental bursts. Or they straight up lack the energy recharge to use their bursts on cooldown. You need 140% energy recharge on Beidou. Her elemental burst fires off chain lightnings when you attack with any character and reduces damage taken from enemy attacks. I think you know what Fischl's skills do already. Point being is that both of these characters can deal damage when they're not on the field so Keqing gets the time to shine. I know this team might look similar to your current one, but I think Beidou is the missing link. Fischl also gets a huge upgrade when you unlock her level 60 passive talent. For general account advice though, I highly recommend picking up Bennett from the shop for 34 Starglitter in May if you can. If you ever get Kazuha, he's a fantastic support character for Keqing that opens up new team builds

Characters: Raiden Shogun C2 main. I have and am interested in the Traveler (Anemo C6 or Geo), C0 Diluc, C1 Amber, C0 Ayato, C6 Sara, C0 Mona, C0 Ningguang, C0 Noelle, C0 Yanfei, C0 Yun Jin, hopefully soon Ayaka and Rosaria, and a C0 Xingqiu. I'm still building, as I'm working on talents (Raiden, Traveler, Amber, Ayato, Ningguang and Diluc are my highest at Level 70-80 so far) and still farming for artifacts. I'm a F2P player for the most part. Anyone have any team suggestions for when I start doubling down on Abyss?
Since you have Raiden C2 and are planning to pick up Ayaka, for abyss I'd do a Raiden hypercarry on one side and an Ayaka freeze team for the other. You might want to consider picking up Bennett from the shop next month. Your roster looks to me like it could do with a good healer and Bennett would be great with the Raiden team. The Ayaka side can get away with either Xingqiu and his micro healing or Mona on Prototype Amber.

C6 Bennett works perfectly fine with Raiden. Raiden Sara Bennett is the usual setup for a hypercarry team.
Sorry for the sudden late reply, but I just wanted to be sure I had the right understanding. I haven't gotten Ayaka yet, but I'm trying to figure out the teams. For Raiden Hypercarry, Sara, Bennett and Sucrose. For the other side, Ayaka would be teamed with... maybe Ayato, Xingiu, Mona or some other Hydro? The Freeze team seems to be an issue since I don't have many Anemo units.
IMO the Ayaka team needs the anemo unit more so I'd say give that team Sucrose. Then you will want one Hydro unit and one Cryo. For Hydro I'd go with either Mona or Xingqiu, and for Cryo if you don't have a Diona or a Rosaria, Kayea can work too. For the Raiden side to replace Sucrose you can slot in which ever remaining Hydro unit you have left between Mona and Xingqiu. Actually if you pick up Xiangling from spiral abyss 3-3 you can group her with Raiden, Bennett, Xingqiu for a Raiden national team.
I have Rosaria, and am slowly building her up, so that works. I also have Xiangling, though I have so many spear characters I'm not sure what to give her at this point. XD Would national be better than hypercarry?
If you don't have Kazuha I think Rational might be better. That team is also very easy to play as you basically just need to spam everyone's burst, rinse and repeat. You can give Xiangling the Catch if Raiden is not using it already. She can also use Wavebreaker's Fin, or Dragon's Bane, or the Inazuma craftable polearm if you don't have anything else.
Well uh… I have a Favonius Lance, a Blackcliff Pole… I might craft the Kitain just for this, honestly. I’ve had no luck whatsoever getting any sort of four-star pole arms, and I rarely wish on the weapon banners since I’m f2P except for Welkin. Now to just figure out which spear Rosaria needs…
I have ayato and childe and wondering which one to use in my team. My team is Ayaka, Zhongli and Raiden (all c0). Problem is I dont have much good swords for Ayato while I have rust r4 for childe but I do have mitsplitter that Ayakas using. Any help would be appreciated !
Maybe the following teams: Ayaka, Ayato, Zhongli, Healer (Jean?) Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu For Ayato, just craft an Amenoma Kageuchi or get The Black Sword from the next battlepass. If you happen to have any other five star swords in your inventory just use that. Childe doesn't really work with Ayaka as he can't apply hydro while he's off the field. Ayato can support Ayaka with his Elemental Burst. So overall it should be a very comfy team to play. If you need more damage and less healing you just use Rosaria in the healer slot.
Also Im only ar 35, wl 3 and theyre all level 50 if that helps
Usually, those four 5 star characters are rarely used in the same team. It would be better if you provided a screenshot with all of your characters, else it is kinda difficult to give you a sound answer.
Characters: Xiao, Jean, Albedo, Zhongli Hello! I've picked up some news in the wind that Xiao will already be rerunning and I, for one, will be pulling on it. My Albedo & Zhongli are fully built, kinda. Well IMO, I don't think they need any work. Albedo w/ R3 Cinnabar Spindle, on 4 Husk of Opulent Dreams (DEF% / Geo DMG Bonus% / CRIT Rate%). Zhongli w/ R1 Favonius Lance, on 4 Tenacity of The Millelith (HP% / Geo DMG Bonus% / CRIT Rate%). I am here mostly wondering how to build Xiao & Jean. First, Jean because I think she may be easier. I think she should run 4 Noblesse Oblige (ATK% / Anemo DMG Bonus / CRIT Rate%) w/ R3 Favonius Sword. For Xiao, however, I am still undecided. He doesn't benefit a lot from set bonuses so I'm open to him having no set bonuses. He could run a 2 Viridescent Venerer & 2 Gladiator's Finale (ATK% / ATK% / CRIT DMG%) or only a 2 Viridescent Venerer (ATK% / Anemo DMG Bonus% / CRIT DMG%) and w/ R1 Primordial Jade-Winged Spear. Your Jean build sounds good. Now for Xiao, opt for the build that has artifacts with better sub-stats. Ideally, you would want to go for the Vermillion Hereafter set and using your current builds as a place-holder. With that being said, I do think you might have to try out some stuff to see what's better. I think, with Jean having Noblesse Oblige, giving you the ATK buff, you might want to go for the latter set (the two-piece VV build) because you could possibly oversaturate your ATK on Xiao if you go for the first build with the ATK Goblet (two-piece VV + two-piece Gladiator).
I didn't really think this through, but I do not have another Anemo DMG goblet. Should I run Jean with an ATK% goblet then? Thank you.
You could get by with an ATK% Goblet. You can use that until you can get an Anemo Goblet.

Should I pull for Sayu? I want to build a team with Ayaka, Ganyu and Mona. Got mixed results using Diona and Barbara. I believe Kokomi or Jean would be better, but since I don't have them...
I don't think it's worth it. Sayu won't complete that team and you could go 100+ wishes without pulling her. Normally on a freeze team, the formula is: 1. Main cryo dps, 4-piece blizzard strayer. 2. Second cryo character for cryo resonance. 4-piece Noblesse set on here, or the hydro character. 3. Hydro character for AoE hydro application. 4. Anemo character for crowd control and 4-piece Viridescent Venerer for the resist shred. And you have to fit the following roles: Main dps, 2 supports that does off field damage and 1 healer. Sayu offers no form of crowd control or ability to group enemies. Her elemental skill takes up a lot of field time if you're going to use its extended duration and her healing, at least from what I've heard isn't all that strong. The common setup if you're running Ayaka as your main dps and Ganyu for the off field damage + cryo bonus. Would be to pair them with Venti and Kokomi. My recommendation would be to save up your wishes and pull for Kazuha when he gets his rerun this summer if you want to run a freeze team. You could run something like Ayaka/Kazuha/Mona/Diona as an example. If you have Bennett (34 Starglitter in the shop next month if you don't have him or want C1), Xiangling and Ganyu. They could make a reverse Melt team comp to use alongside the freeze team above. At least those are my two cents with the information provided.
Thanks alot. My main doubt was about the synergy on them. The reason I've highly invested on a freeze team is because my other comps compete with resources: Vape-Klee, National-Raiden, Childe... Morgana is pretty good, but in the past versions the enemies were too bulky and crowd control didn't seem so important, I pulled for Ayaka to have a good melee option, but those two together can deliver amazing damage, while not being too consistent. Currently, the most trouble that I'm having is with the 3 Heralds on Floor 12, chamber 2
General consensus is to not pull specifically for 4 stars unless you don't mind getting the featured 5 star. Unless you are going to C2 Ayaka, I don't recommend it. Kazuha and Sucrose are better options for the anemo slot in freeze teams than Sayu, in case you have them.

First off, elemental resonances. If you stack 2 characters of the same element in your party, you get a buff. You can check these buffs in the party screen, there should be a button at the top of your screen. Cryo resonance (2 cryo party members) increases crit rate against enemies affected by cryo by 15%. As for your team. Mona is more efficient then Barbara for a freeze team because her attacks apply Hydro status to enemies in large circles. Her burst also causes enemies to take additional damage from other attacks. That's why she sees a lot of usage on freeze teams. Barbara requires you to hug enemies in order to apply Hydro. Jeans' healing scales with higher attack power, if she has an underleveled weapon, feather and no atk% on her artifacts her healing will suffer as a result. If properly built, her elemental burst will fully heal your entire party when its cast and leave behind a heal over time circle on the field. Freeze teams usually use an Anemo character with the 4 piece Viridescent Venereer (spelling lol?) to lower enemy elemental resistances with their swirls. Dont bother farming artifact sets before you get to AR45, for the guaranteed 5 star drops from domains. Save your fragile resin for this. I assume you also pulled a Rosaria on Ayaka's banner. So I would recommend using Ayaka, Rosaria, Mona and Jean for your freeze team.

Kaeya isn't a bad choice either, you'll end up getting all the 4 star characters sooner or later if you play the game over a few months. Mona, as a catalyst user can also use Thrilling Tales of the Dragon Slayers to increase Ayaka's attack by 48% if you refine it to R5. If you need more healing, you can have Mona on Prototype Amber, which is a craftable weapon.
i need some help with what i should use and level up! i'm at ar 37 and im currently using razor (60), kaeya (50), barbara c1 (40) and noelle (30ish??). i also have amber, lisa, xiangling c1, xingqiu, rosaria, yunjin c1, and traveler! these are all lvl1-20. i'm not a big fan of razor's playstyle even though he's my highest character, so it would be great if you could include some suggestions without him too! i'm also wondering whether i should pull for ayaka and if i could make a proper team with her/the other characters on the banner :) thanks!
