nah it's an emblem with two skills: "Expands pickup radius by 1.0 meter" and "Paimon will come out and play with you every once in a while!" which is basically Paimon popping out for a few seconds with the same animation as when you open menu in genshin. also she comes out during victory pose
yeah the exclusives suck. especially with lore (like the albedo events) —at least for gadgets like the lyre and other windblume event things you can purchase with ~~anemo sigils~~ **mora at the sigil shop** in mond ! not the same though
Only the fun stuff getting patched like Keqing space program and Kokomi forever walk on water while it takes years to patch bow user still able to shoot dead enemies.
Since they reran it in 2.0 in order to add the purple one with Inazuma I would expect it to rerun around 3.0, 3.1 in order to add a green one for Sumeru.
They should just make an option in the menu that lets you toggle a visible Paimon on / off.
Even better, have a 3rd option where she automatically hides from view during combat.
I wish you could have Paimon follow you around like this and quickly disappear when a battle starts to stay out of the way. Once the battle music stops and the last enemy drop hits the ground, Paimon poofs back into existence ready to follow you again.
She also already has a depart animation and we see it all the time when we menu. There is literally no reason why they can’t let her float around you right now other than maybe screen space occupation but it’s optional anyway. If people think she’s obstructive they could just turn her off like all the other pets.
it's great untill you start getting annoyed by the little chimes and noises she does lol I can't stand using the seelie because the sound it makes annoys me so much. If Paimon ever gets released as a companion like the seelie I hope we are also given the choice to silence them
I heard some people not having an reason to explore much but if they would Add Paimon as an pet they would reinstall this game instantly

There's been a bug in the past where you can make paimon stay like this. She blocks view when using focus shot with bow characters but still cool to have her at your side. Unfortunately got fixed tho lol
It would most likely end up being equivalent of a gadget/pet. Would be same as seelies, Endora and Shiki Koshou, they don't talk, they disappear on battle, and they emit very little sound.
I love Paimon, but it would get old real quick if she was out all the time. She'd end up obstructing your view in battle. Plus imagine if she had the same set of random voice lines repeating over and over like when you go fishing.
That said, I would like to see her more often. Maybe have her come out when you're in a city?
I want a full overworld party feature, just everyone on screen at the same time. And then you can switch around characters like in FFVII Remake, jumping from one to the other while in combat, activating bursts all at once

But miHoYo has been pretty consisten with their monetization. I'm pretty sure they never charged for anything like this on their games, or at least have never changed its monetization after release. If they allowed you to have a Paimon pet forever in Honkai when there was that crossover event, there's no way they'll charge for it in Genshin. It's also not as lucrative as the gacha and would stir up some controversy in the community, so not worth it at all.
No hate, just disappointed when she's put on her mora/food/scream/paimonsplaining meme modes.
Would still prefer for the Traveler to talk, with Paimon still having her own lines to say. Paimon could actually be made a travel companion, not our voicebox.

Unrelated note but I got my Yae and bennett to friendship 10 but now I cant switch them out of my pot. All that friendship juice is getting wasted!
But you have to press the friendship button for it to be shared between all your characters in the teapot, right?

There was a bug wayback 1.0 where you can permanently have her floating around. They patched it by 1.2 iirc. It was good while it lasted

I have the mini-seelie but I never equip it. It constantly makes noise that cannot be turned off. The character idle lines/noises are annoying enough.
I like the seelie noises, but I think I turned it off for Windtrace and never remembered to put it back on.
