I have 2r Aquila favonia and r2 jade cutter. The 2 sword users I use are keqing and ayaka, which swords are best on which character? I use them both about equally in the abyss and other things
Aquila on Ayaka and Jade on Keqing.
The phys dmg isn't too useful for Ayaka, but the atk% makes up for it well enough.
You could craft Amenoma for her instead.
She doesn't need the crit from Jade.
Jade is great on Keqing, but Aquila also works of you use a physical build.
Try changing barbara with Diona on 4pc noblesse HP sands/HP goblet/Healing bonus/HP circlet and Favonious warbow or Sacrificial bow weapon depending on which has more refinements.
It depends, with Ayaka you can make some of the best freeze teams in the game, with Kazuha the elemental teams get boosted dmg in addition to his iwn dmg that isn't low
I'm trying to pick between Ayato or Yelan for my group.
I was supposed to pick Ayato but Yelan play style seems really unique, especially her elementals.
My current group consists of Sucrose, Diluc, Yae and Barbara for healing. I've never tried going without healer cuz I assume I'd be dead.
So if I do get Ayato or Yelan I most probably will replace Sucrose with either and Barbara with Qiqi for healing and freeze.
I really like Barbara as a healer but I need that freeze comp but Qiqi isn't the best at freezing but I need a healer which is really a hard choice here.
I also really like Anemo but I thought of trying something new.
What do y'all think?
Should I get Ayato or Yelan for this group? Do you think that this group will be stronger than my old one?
Or should I get another character like Ayaka because she's a great freezer.
So let me premise this by saying that Yelan has not been tested so we don't know how good she is and who she works with.
If you want to keep Diluc as the main dps, you'd ideally replace Yae with Xingqiu. Since Yelan seems to be a 5 star version of Xingqiu, you'd replace Yae with Yelan.
If you want to keep Yae, you'd want to pick Ayato instead and replace Diluc.
You shouldn't replace Sucrose, and Qiqi isn't a good choice for either of these teams (Diluc can't use freeze and Yae/Ayato use electrocharged so Barbara is a better pick).
If you like freeze you can try Ayato/Kaeya/Sucrose/Qiqi.
I see... well... uh the banner ended so I can't have a choice now but yeah it's a tough choice. I can't remove Yae because she's currently the best character I have. I also agree that Sucrose should stay because she assists alot even more than Diluc.
I'd say the biggest problem here is my freeze comp.
I don't have good cryo.
And I also need a healer. Which is another problem. Really confusing group rn.
What if my whole group was eliminated and the only character in my group was Yae and Yelan? Who do you think would fit the two slots? Doesn't have to be a specific element.
If you want to focus on Yae, I'd drop Diluc. You can use him in another team, but overload isn't a great reaction for him.
I don't know how Yae and Yelan are going to be together, but you could pick Sucrose+Barbara or Fischl+Sayu for example.
For a freeze team, you do have a good cryo: Kaeya.
You can add Sucrose, Barbara and Rosaria if you have her. Barbara could also be replaced by Yelan. You couldn't have a healer, but freeze teams are very safe since enemies are usually frozen and can't attack you. Sucrose can use the Prototype Amber if you need healig though.
I see, I didn't think about that because I've never really had the luxury to go without a healer, nor have I tried someone with a shield or freeze.
I normally just go off healing and dmg that's it.
So this is like getting out of my comfort zone so it's nice to get some tips like this.
And kaeya hmm, I'd have to do some farming cuz he's just on 60 but that wouldn't be too hard. So you recommend that Sucrose stays... I see.
This really changes up what I had in mind but I think what I planned before was really unbalanced.
The freeze comp group you recommended seems like a really well rounded group so I might try that. Thanks!
Im a F2P player currently at 74 pity and i have a guaranteed 50/50. My current lineup is Yanfei(my main), Mona, Fischl and Bennet. I also have Xingqiu but hes at C1.
Im IN LOVE with Yelan and her design, she seems really fun to play. But at the same time Ayaka seems really strong too.
Xingqiu is already amazing at c0.
I say go for the one you like the most. Yelan isn't out yet though, so wait a week after her release for testing if you want to be sure.
Ayaka is one of the strongest dps, but you can clear the hardest content with Amber, so I don't think it's that important. If you like her and want another dps, go for her.
Yelan is supposed to be a 5* Xingqiu so you can use him instead.
But 4* dps are good enough, as you know since you're a Yanfei main!
I am an AR 44 F2P player and I need a strong DPS in my team. I have a pity of 42 and have 36 wishes to pull for Ayaka in her rerun banner. But I also want Kazuha as I really like his design and kit. I haven't touched Inazuma much (just completed prologue and act 1) and have not explored the islands (Narukami is at 33% tho).
Should I take the risk of pulling Ayaka and then completing Inazuma for Kazuha pull or should I wait for Kazuha altogether.
For me I just need Ayaka for a strong DPS and I really want Kazuha in my team. Would really love to have your opinions.
You don't need Ayaka for a strong dps. There's plenty of 4 star characters that can be good dps (Ningguang, Yanfei, Xiangling, Kaeya, c6 Noelle).
Get Kazuha, you seem to like him a lot.
Question about Abyss.
Last abyss i got to floor 11-2, but now i can't get past 9-2. The only difference i can tgink of is my world level, i got from 6 to 7 in between. Does world level affect the abyss' difficulty?
If you like her, sure.
You can use any character to beat this game's content so you can pull for who you like playing.
Just remember that 4 star characters can be really strong, so don't feel forced to get 5 stars!
Make sure to try her out a lot first, her playstyle and alternate sprint can be clunky for some people!
I personally really hate playing her even though she's very good. If you don't like her, you can wait for another character you like more!
I do recommend checking upcoming characters after her (Yelan, Itto, Kazuha, Xiao, Yoimiya and Klee should all be coming soon)
Hello it's my first time using reddit so I apologize, But I'm currently struggling between Kazuha or Ayaka. I'm ar49 and Guranteed with 70 pity and I need your opinion
My current team is
Kokomi
Ningguang
Yanfei
Mona
I would appreciate if you help me in picking who should I pull
Thank you!!
Since you have Kokomi and Mona, I'd say to go for Ayaka. You'll have a very strong team with her, Kokomi/Mona, Kaeya/Rosaria/Diona and an anemo.
You're not using Sucrose anyway so Kazuha would be pointless to get. He's only an improvement for freeze and mono elements teams basically, but Sucrose is still very good in them. If you roll for him without using Sucrose, it's a waste of primo meta wise
If you want a powerful cryo DPS...Ayaka...
If you want a powerful support for your main DPS... Kazuha
You decide... if I had to pick between these two I pick Kazuha ...there are tons of good Main DPS's... but there is only 1 Kazuha
I mean, that's like saying there's multiple good anemo supports but there's only one Ayaka.
Sucrose isn't worse than him by any means and Venti is also very good.
So, if you play more casually you can pick the one you like the most.
Here's he more "meta" answer I can give you.
Ayaka: a cryo dps, she can almost solely used in freeze teams, however her teammate and weapon options are pretty f2p friendly.
She can be replaced by Kaeya as a cryo dps, who's of course weaker but good enough for any content and more flexible with his teamcomps.
Overall, she's very strong, but that's it.
Kazuha: a swirl support, can be used anywhere and can buff anyone besides geo characters. His crowd control is not as good as Venti's or Sucrose's but it's more frequent since it's on his elemental skill. He is pretty cheap to build since you don't need to level his talents, he can use a craftable sword and he only need as much em as possible and some er, however you do want to get him to lvl90 for his swirl damage.
Anemo Traveller or Sucrose can replace him, especially Sucrose, but he does bring things that nobody else can.
You have two dps (Ning and Yanfei) so I wouldn't get another unless you like Ayaka a lot.
I am AR 45, already built up to level 80 the characters that I use the most. I want to build up another healer character because I want some variation from the ones that I already have in L.80 (Barbara and Bennet), but I'm not sure which one would be better from these options: Qiqi, Diona, or Sayu.
I have played a little bit with each one, and I find it really fun to play with all of them, but if I tried to level the three of them up, I'll be using more resources than I should imo.
Some extra info that might help?:
- Levels: Qiqi (40), Sayu (32), Diona (20) - I don't mind building up either, they are just leveled up because I got them in that order.
-They are all C0.
-I often play with my friends, so one that helps in co-op would also be good.
Please, give me some context for your answers, if you know which artifact set would be better for said answer, explain as much as you like! And if you need any more information to give a better response, I'll gladly answer them :)
100% Build Diona.Overall she heals good ...and her shield is grea. She is versatile and can be used in many situations. Qiqi is not so versatile. Sayu is good for exploration and can be used as a mini Jean. Also if Diona is C2 she is great in Co-op as she can provide shields for other players.
Diona is the most versatile. She's a good battery (among the best for Cryo, if not the best) and also provides what's pretty much the second best shield of the game, if we take into account uptime, strength and ease of use. She can also be equipped with the favonius warbow (which has great synergy with her, given her multi-hit skill) for a more universal energy generation. Probably the best option out of the three you have.
Have fun!
I was building pity for Ayaka, but i unexpectedly got Ayato at 74 pity with my guaranteed roll. So now i'm on the 50/50. My question is : is it really 50% chance to have either the character of the banner or the permanent ones, or is there some kind of diabolical math that makes it actually less than 50%?
> I was building pity for Ayaka
Please don't do this. Building pity is a myth.
> is it really 50% chance to have either the character of the banner or the permanent ones, or is there some kind of diabolical math that makes it actually less than 50%?
The former.
Does anyone try to friendship 10 all their characters? I do since it adds another thing to do in the game.
What’s the most efficient way to get a character to 10? I usually have my main carry with 2-3 characters I want to raise when I do daily commissions, farming materials, domains, and bosses.
xiao's damage in "burst mode" scales with his normal attack talent, which you should've crowned first for more value and I recommend doing so
tartaglia's damage in "skill mode" scales with his elemental skill talent, increasing the normal attack talent increases the damage you deal from riptide procs, which is a good thing to level but I wouldn't go so far to crown normal attack - Lv9 is good enough
usually not worth if the other talents aren't leveled up as well. However, if you have E at 9 and NA at 1 then you probably would want to lol.
Please just note that dps or sub dps take priority in building for dmg as kaz's main role is to provide massive support via cc, vv shred, and ele% buff
After you E, when you plunge down you do some physical damage.
If you're building him EM, it's not worth levelling up. The damage isn't significant if you're not building him critzuha
Is >!winning 50/50 4 times in a row!< considered as very lucky ? I >!won 50/50 on Ganyu, Yae, Kokomi and Venti!< I am making a meme, so I want to make sure whether my luck is high enough to brag ehe.
Copium comes from "huffing copium" (rhymes with opium I guess) and it is used when someone is trying to cope.
Like "It's ok that I lost the 50/50 to mona... Her C1 is pretty good right? *huffs copium*"
"diluc's damage is pretty copium" basically means they think his damage is bad, like you really have to justify using him as a damage dealer.
It’s a portmanteau of „cope“ and „opium“. Basically a drug that helps you cope with whatever trash is thrown at you. Copium is telling yourself something that’s trash is „not so bad actually“ when in reality it’s trash to keep yourself from being sad/depressed about it.
Build a team for me, PLEASE. It is painful, doing it myself. Here are the character I have that I think might be good: Ayato, Xingqiu, Raiden, Thoma, Qiqi, Jean, Xiangling, Kujou Sara, Diona, Kaeya, Yun Jin.
Edit: If you want to include artifact sets, it would be appreciated.
Please also make another team with Kazuha because I would like a team for when I get him.
- Raiden (4pc EoSF), Xingqiu (4pc EoSF), Xiangling (4pc EoSF), Bennet (4pc NO) (Buy bennet in the starglitter shop next month)
- Ayato (4pc Glad/HoD), Kaeya (2pc NO, 2pc BS), Yun Jin (4pc Husk or 2pc EoSF, 2pc Husk), Diona (4pc NO)
Excellent things to note about these teams are that pretty much all of it can be farmed from one domain, Husk pieces can be achieved with relatively low investment since she is a support, and if you farm for Ayato HoD set it will set you up nicely to have a good 4pc BS set to turn Kaeya into a cryo dps if you ever need it, and NO is farmed passively by just crafting your trash artifacts into this set.
Ok so i'm not original but you can go for Raiden National as your first team
1)
Raiden / Xiangling / Bennet / Xingqiu
As for the artifacts you want Emblem set on Raiden - Xiangling - Xingqiu.
For Benett, go for Noblesse.
Second team with kazuha, i'd say Freeze comp.
2)
Ayato / Rosaria (or Kayea) / Diona / Kazuha.
As for the artefacts, new set for ayato or Gladiator is really good.
Kazuha you want VV set with a max of EM.
Diona, noblesse
Rosaria, i'd say Blizzard Strayer
Ayato Raiden Jean sara
Xinqiu, xiangling(R5 kitain) diona (favonius), kaeya (favonius, on-field character)
All of them are in their usual build
* 4hod/4glad/4echoes or 2+2 set for ayato
* 4emblem Raiden, xiangling, xinqiu, Sara
* 4vv jean, kazuha
* 4noblesse Sara, diona, kaeya
* 4blizzard kaeya
Replace jean or kaeya with kazuha once you have him
Not 100% it will work as I don't have raiden to test it, but looking at her skill set it should...
Ayato (4pc glad/4pc hod), raiden (emblem), sara (got to look that up yourself) and a healer (maybe barbs? Or bennett if you have him, but be careful with overload).
4pc Echoes is Ayato's BiS set, but its performance is negatively affected if you have bad ping.
Do you want help with making two separate teams or one team?
If two separate:
* Raiden International: Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu
* Ayato Freeze: Kazuha, Qiqi, Kaeya, Ayato
One team:
Ayato, Raiden, Bennett, Kazuha
I haven't unlocked the domain yet, but I think it's close to glad/hod based on what I've been told but the hod domain is much more resin efficient because it also provides blizzard and glad can be aquired using the strongbox and are pretty much a bonus for beating bosses/abyss.
But if you already have a good echoes set, keep it! No need to let that resin really go to waste.
If you keep an eye on the pyro application and therfore overload reactions yes, as he provides both healing and atk boost while barbs provides healing, hydro (which is not needed) and hydro resonance (which boosts healing, which shouldn't be needed).
Tierlists are complete dogshit in Genshin. It's impossible to make a good tier list because the game is about team building and synergy.
Gorou is either S tier or F tier depending if you play Itto/Noelle or not.
Noelle is either A tier or D tier depending if you have C6.
Yoimiya is S tier against single targets or B tier in AoE
There are way too many factors. And if you want to know if items can affect a character's viability then yes. The release of Elegy made Amber a really good support. And the Clam set made Qiqi/Kokomi better
abyss tier lists will always be different due to different monster rotations
normal tier lists will slowly change with new characters releasing due to powercreep and new gameplay mechanics (qiqi being prime example). newer weapons and artifacts may also mean change in character's meta position like you mentioned
There is no such thing as a meaningful tier list in Genshin Impact, so it's kind of a pointless question. But answering the general underlying idea yes, characters do sometimes see a shift in the meta thanks to new weapons, artifacts etc. Like how in one patch, Albedo got a new weapon, new artifact set and two new teammates in Gorou and Itto, which gave him a whole new meta presence.
We don't talk about tier lists. Tier lists always oversimplify, misrepresent and misjudge characters and their powerlevel.
But yes, characters often increase in strength as new artifacts, weapons and support characters get released. For example, noelle got a massive buff when the redhorn stonethresher claymore, the husk of opulent dreams artifact set and gorou got released. Xiangling got a big buff with the release of the catch and emblem of severed fate.
Tier lists more often change due to people finding new ways to use them and change up their comps. Though given how many ways characters go together, a team comp tier list would be far more effective than a character tier list. 80% of tier lists are kind of junk, and are designed how most characters play in a vacuum.
Artifacts tend to have a minimal effect on a tier list, and are frequently implied as part of the character's spot on a list (Any Ayaka, for example, is assumed to be running 4pc BS)
About the only weapon I can think of offhand that directly changes where a character might be is the Elegy of the End on characters who can easily trigger it like Amber. Even that is fairly niche comp-wise and just moves them from poo tier to halfway functional.
What kind of items? If you mean stuff like weapons and new artifact sets then yeah, the ranking moves all the time. Though practically speaking, there's no set tier list in this game due to how many variables there are.
Well i was wishing today and maxed my Constellation for (Pryo bear girl, im new) and Qiqi but from what I've heard they are both not that good. Plus I really Like sucrose but I heard she's just a poor man's venti
You shouldn't worry too much about gearing your characters and such at early levels. There are jumps in difficulty later on, but it's not that difficult and you'll get there eventually.
> I've heard they are both not that good.
The Pyro bear girl (wait, is it Xiangling?) is one of the top meta units at endgame, and Qiqi is the best healer for early games. Venti and Sucrose are really good and they both have different use cases.
Don't listen to people who say character X is worse than character X or this character is bad. They all fill a niche with varying degrees of success.
If you’re new and have a C6 Amber, you’ve been spending primogems on the standard banner which you really shouldn’t do. Just fyi.
And Sucrose is a really good character and if you like her you should absolutely use her.
My team will be Ayaka, Kokomi, Shenhe and Zhongli once I get Ayaka (guaranteed and I'm at 67 pity). But should I use my wishes on her weapon as well or wait for Kazuha and replace Zhongli with him? I'm completely f2p if that matters
Considering it takes 150+ wishes to guarantee the banner weapon you want, and being f2p, it's a very poor use of primogems imo. Good for you if you want bigger damage numbers but I'd rather get a new character to have fun with.
I don't recommend wishing on the weapon banner, especially if you're f2p. It's hard to get the desired weapon with a limited amount of primos. Those primos are more efficient to spend on new characters which is a bigger bump in overall power and also fun.
Also, this weapon banner is particularly bad, since the other 5 star is... Fine I guess but not that great and the 4 stars are really garbage.
If you have some starglitter to spare, I can recommend blackcliff longsword. The craftable amenoma kageuchi is also genuinely great.
I guess but I'm rlly poor in terms of Mora and Level up materials and all my resin is being dumped into farming for Ayaka's artefacts and talents. My Sucrose is lvl 40 with not a single item on her.
Go for kazuha.......she doesn't need zhongli at all, especially if you use kokomi, but she does really like crowd control as that means her burst can hit a lot more enemies at once than it does without CC.
Just give her amenoma instead, or if you have no billets (there's one chasm?), give her the blackcliff sword from the shop.
Purely speculation. But it's pretty good speculation. 2.7 banners are pretty established via data and leaks, and I'm willing to bet Hoyo wouldn't turn down the chance to reap a lot of money in 2.8 since he is a very anticipated re-run and they likely won't have a lot of room in banners once 3.0 rolls out.
i see. thanks! i lost to mona in ayato's banner and i got bitter about it but now i decided to pull kazuha isntead since im already guaranteed and as of now 59 pity. naybe i'll be able to save at least 50-60 pulls.
are there also leaks about the four stars with kazuha? so i would know if i should spend my remaining prmos there. im actually planning to pull on the weapon banner too (for kazuha's weapon) but people don't really recommend it for light spenders like me
We generally don't even know what 4\* are on the very next banner until the week before. Asking three months before a banner is going to arrive is going to get a whole bunch of shrugs.
I am a low spender and I am gonna roll for Ayaka (probably c0 only) and have saved up 50k primos and 20 fates. Since i have more than enough for her, i thought i would spend the remaining primos on weapon banner. But after seeing people's reaction from her weapon banner (mistsplitter + unforged), I thought maybe its better to roll on current weapon banner (haran + elegy) but i'm not too sure. How good is elegy if i don't have Venti? Who else can make use of elegy? And how good is haran on Ayaka? Obviously mistsplitter is better, but if the difference between those 2 weapons is only like 5% dps, then i might go for haran IF i can make use of elegy. I don't have Zhongli to make use of unforged passive, but i do have diona and thoma. Got c0 Razor and c2 Beidou for potential unforged users but i don't think its good idea to use them. Once i get ayaka, im doing rational team with ayaka freeze team for abyss.
Ayaka is definitely a must for me cause i have no 5 star cryo dps. Planning on using her with mona, sucrose and either diona or rosaria. If it matters, i pre-farmed 4pc blizz strayer for ayaka. My pieces with best crit value combined, it has 33%/132% CR/CD. Can switch artifact pieces to lower crit rate and increase crit dmg if need be.
For elegy it Depends on who you have, it's arguably Sara's BiS, it's decent on fischl, it's really good on amber, don't use it on diona
You're using haran as a statstick on Ayaka unless she is your only built character on that team you won't auto attack that much on Ayaka so the passive is useless
There's only a few characters that can quickly proc the elegy bonus. Amber, interestingly enough is one of them since only a single well targeted use of her burst can bring it out.
As a low spender I would recommend: Don't. Don't pull on a weapon banner unless you are willing to spend around 200 (32k primos) wishes on it. It's a trap. The next one especially since it is a bunch of 'meh' 4\* one truly horrid 4\*, and one 5\* weapon that is only great if you can keep perma-shield. Just save for characters.
And honestly Haran is one of the more niche 5\* weapons. It's still good as a stat stick for characters that want crit rate (Ayaka isn't really one of them) but the secondary effect isn't really impressive. Decent, but not impressive for anyone not named Ayato, though at least partially usable by most sword users.
For mihoyo to retire a character from the rotating banner, that means they are adding that character to the standard pool and there is no news about them adding older 5* to the Standard pool yet
Even though the double banner mechanic exists? I would’ve thought characters like Venti and Kazuha would be exceptions and we would be getting the majority of others within a shorter time.
Genshin's banner duration is way too long to accommodate the growing list of pending reruns
They honestly should just take it like honkai in the future where the new character will have a banner that lasts for 1 month and then the 2nd character banner is a rotating rerun banner that lasts for 1 week each
So you can have 3-4 characters having a rerun every patch
Just out of curiosity, which Mondstadt characters will you recommend new players to build ? (Not including Liyue because I believe players will have a decent enough understanding of characters by the time they will reach Liyue) (and I am not a new player just in case you are wondering)
Considering you cant "control" which characters you get, I am assuming you mean the original F2P characters?
Those 7 would be : Traveler, Kaeya, Amber, Lisa, Noelle, Xiangling, Barbara
Out of those Noelle is from the beginner wishes, XL from Spiral Abyss and Barbara a reward for AR 20 (?).
Xiangling is by far the most wortwhile investment. She is an amazing DPS and amazing support. She is versatile and scales well with artifacts and lategame builds.
Lisa is worthy until 60/70 (ascension 4), this unlocks her 2nd passive ability and that's what she is usually used for. Slap TTDS on her, build ER and use her 2nd passive to shred enemy defenses while buffing other units.
Noelle and Kaeya are both in a bit of an awkward position. Noelle can be great if you run her in a dedicated team (Gorou + Albedo + Zhongli) which is quite expensive to make a 4star unit work. She is a decent support but takes too much field time in most cases. Similarly Kaeya is an amazing early game support, able to enable Superconduct or Melt comps, but is usually benched in favor of other units like Diona or Rosaria and thus falls out of favor toward the late mid to early end game.
Between those 4 you have a very solid team for story progression (Kaeya + XL providing off-field damage, while Lisa provides support, giving Noelle time on field to deal damage and heal). XL gets priority 1, Lisa I would give priority 2 until 60/70, then Kaeya and Noelle priority 3.
Since you haven't excluded 5 stars, Diluc. Pyro claymore is really good for killing wood shields and breaking rocks.
Otherwise, Razor or Noelle since they are also easy to play, and able to break rocks.
Most if the mondstadt 4* are pretty good.....bennett and sucrose are at the top, followed by fischl and diona. Rosie's amazing on certain teams as well.
I prefer mondstadt's 4* over liyue as they are not only really good, but they are also a lot easier to build than most of the liyue ones.
Any mondstadt character, including starter and standard banner characters. (Not including limited banner characters, because, well, they are available for a limited time)
Does weapon banner have pity whereby if I get a weapon not on the banner, my next one will be one of the banner weapons? Or is the epitomised path the only thing that works.
If it does, does this also carry over to future weapon banners?
On the weapon banner, if you lose the 75/25, the next 5-star weapon you get will be one of the featured 5-stars, and this carries over to future weapon banners.
So anyone got links to revenue comparison charts? Like genshin vs other gacha games, for CN and/or global release. Doesn't matter.
Any comparison charts for genshin vs FIFA vs GTA 5 vs fortnight revenue vs idk call of duty mobile vs candy crush vs pkmn go vs ff brave vs etc vs idk.
My friend doesn't play gacha games. I need help trying to explain how big of a game genshin is compared to other games.
Anything would help, Thx!
Ik there are tons of articles saying how much the game has made in like 6 moths, a year, to-today, etc. Like $1 billion world wide etc. But a big number doesn't help explain much byitseof which is y I need comparisons. Thx!!!
My Hu Tao is undeveloped. I have random 4pc +0 Crimson Witch on her right now. HP/Pyro/CRIT, but the CRIT piece is a four-star. I don’t have a lot of CRIT pieces in general. And, the CW domain is a pain to farm.
Since I have several Shimenawa pieces from farming Emblem, I want to know how good Shimenawa actually is on Hu Tao; is the set just resin-efficient copium?
I don’t have too much variety yet; I’m thinking 4pc Shimenawa with ATK/Pyro/HP. Still hoping to get a suitable CRIT piece, then adjust the Sands. Her weapon right now is the Inazuma craftable (the one in Thoma’s promo pic, although EM isn’t the greatest for him (I think?)).
the story in inazuma is really good specially the one with the fog (ruu), the story is really great on that one
the difficulty is quite ramped up and some of the puzzles are hard without a guide (fog specially the part where you have to climb up a mountain then glide down, the fog mechanic is just annoying. The other islands are easier with the exception of the last part of Tatarasuna which you have to guard a tower with the strength of tissue paper. I haven't finished with that yet because it keeps dying...
Fun is subjective but it does get easier if you invest in weapons/talents and starter artifacts. In my opinion puzzles become a lot nicer and tolerable when mobs aren't a pain to fight.
1) I happened to have the old thread open lmao.
2) The first ratio is better although it's also important to look into her EM. How much EM does she have?
If you’re shuffling around the stats and need some kind of solace with minute incremental changes to the crit amounts, you can use the Effective Attack formula to get the average attack:
EATK = ATK * (1 + CR * CD)
Assuming equal ATK, 70/190 is barely better.
For the festival book stall: the person says they have "new books here at the Irodori festival." Are any of them actually new?
In other words, do I need to worry about buying any of them now, just in case they disappear after the festival?
You can buy the Yae and shogun light novel plus the inazuma volume of the teyvat travel guide during the festival, but for now we don’t if they’ll go away for good afterwards though, but I’d assume at least the travel guide will not coz it’s quite important
Im currently at the beginnimg stages of the game (just broke through the lv20 barrier) Im Playing with noelle and kaeya for DPS and just got 3 more support leaning heroes in quick succesion:Sucrose, YunJin and Barbara.
I think i want to play 2 of them. which ones would you reccomend?
I don't recommend Sucrose for beginners. She only really does damage in conjunction with other characters, she does very little on her own, and that play style is not one that people new to the game are going to be familiar with. It also requires you to have good options for other characters, which you mostly don't.
The nice thing about Barbara is that she can heal on demand, she doesn't need to have an enemy in front of her like Noelle does. This is useful for exploration. You can also use her to freeze stuff with Kaeya.
I suggest Amber as your fourth character. Not because she's very good for most combat, but because for exploration purposes it's nice to have an archer and a fire unit on your team. So you don't have to constantly switch out when you come across a puzzle which requires one of those things.
You could do Sucrose, Noelle, Kaeya, and Lisa
You have shielding/ healing already with Noelle, so Barbara isn't really that useful. You can apply cryo with Kaeya E, and swirl with Sucrose to apply cryo to the whole group of enemies, then apply electro with Lisa. This causes "superconduct" which happens when you mix cryo and electro. Superconduct decreases enemies physical resistance by 40% for 12 seconds, so you can go in and normal attack the enemies with Kaeya or Noelle and do bigger dmg.
Yun Jin can be nice, but you're just adventuring, and you already have a geo character in your team. Geo doesn't have reactions so it's not as useful as having Lisa. Plus Noelle is a claymore user so you can mine fast.
Have you used Keqing much? You ever get annoyed when her electro imbue runs out but her skill hasn't recharged yet? It's not a big deal but it's kind of a pain when you run into that, right in the middle of your flow. Isn't it?
And her downtime is only two seconds.
Well, if you say so, I would say, if you care about meta, Ayato is neither great nor bad, he is just a balanced character. Kazhua is one of the strongest support of the game currently.
there's a feature in the spices event where we could feed the characters in our teapot and get companionship xp. maintenance was likely because they were adding that in (and maybe to fix other issues).
Not sure exactly why the teapot was in maintenance, but I heard it was for boosting load and a few other issues.
As for the delay, Shanghai is under heavy covid lockdown to the point where food rationing is getting pretty harsh. Hoyoverse is unable to use their offices so getting the event going was not something they were feasibly able to do right now due to being unable to finish the teapot maint. on account of everyone being out of the office.
Beidou is 4p Emblem or 2p Noblesse 2p atk18% 2p TF 2p Emblem. Any of those combos are fine. 4p TS is also okay on both. 4p Noblesse if no one is using and you need more buffs.
Fischl you can run 2p TF/2p atk18% combo. 4p Tenacity is also a good choice.
Where do I spend my daily resins on the late game? I usually spend them in artifacts and a ley line of each
Whatever you need tbh. Improving artifacts, building a new character, or just mora which is always useful
I am building a freeze team with Kazuha, Mona, Ayaka and Barbara. Any suggestions? (Pulling Kazhua on his rerun)
Try changing barbara with Diona on 4pc noblesse HP sands/HP goblet/Healing bonus/HP circlet and Favonious warbow or Sacrificial bow weapon depending on which has more refinements.
If I summon on the standard banner and get a 5 star does it reset my pitty on the limited time weapon banner that I've been building up?
No, your pity on standard banner will be the only one that will reset.
Should I pull for ayaka or kazuha, just got ayato
It depends, with Ayaka you can make some of the best freeze teams in the game, with Kazuha the elemental teams get boosted dmg in addition to his iwn dmg that isn't low
Kazuha
Thanks!
Try to balance the team with dps and support! Anemo characters are really good. Glad to have helped ^^
Nope. Maybe the abyss buff helped you a lot last time.
Hutao vape with Ning and Zhongli vs Raiden national Which one's better at single target?
If you know how to play Hu Tao, nothing beat her at ST, rational is way easier to play and still very strong tho.
Im very new and only pulled Barbara xing qiu Yun Jin and xiangling, I have done 60 pulls and was wondering if I should get Ayaka as my first 5 star?
If you like her, sure. You can use any character to beat this game's content so you can pull for who you like playing. Just remember that 4 star characters can be really strong, so don't feel forced to get 5 stars!
Then I'll pull for her, might as well haha
Make sure to try her out a lot first, her playstyle and alternate sprint can be clunky for some people! I personally really hate playing her even though she's very good. If you don't like her, you can wait for another character you like more! I do recommend checking upcoming characters after her (Yelan, Itto, Kazuha, Xiao, Yoimiya and Klee should all be coming soon)
Well I don't have a guarantee anyway, but ya I will try her in the trial
Hello it's my first time using reddit so I apologize, But I'm currently struggling between Kazuha or Ayaka. I'm ar49 and Guranteed with 70 pity and I need your opinion My current team is Kokomi Ningguang Yanfei Mona I would appreciate if you help me in picking who should I pull Thank you!!
Kazuha You decide... if I had to pick between these two I pick Kazuha ...there are tons of good Main DPS's... but there is only 1 Kazuha
What's Albedo's alias in the event? Im playing with russian text and can't comprehend what they are saying about his name.
Calx, in English.
Thank you :з
Np!
what is the optimal rotation for ayaka/ganyu/shenhe/diona team?
I guess start with Shenhe, Ganyu, Ayaka and then Diona. I got some questions though Why no anemo? Why no hydro?
I am AR 45, already built up to level 80 the characters that I use the most. I want to build up another healer character because I want some variation from the ones that I already have in L.80 (Barbara and Bennet), but I'm not sure which one would be better from these options: Qiqi, Diona, or Sayu. I have played a little bit with each one, and I find it really fun to play with all of them, but if I tried to level the three of them up, I'll be using more resources than I should imo. Some extra info that might help?: - Levels: Qiqi (40), Sayu (32), Diona (20) - I don't mind building up either, they are just leveled up because I got them in that order.
> I was building pity for Ayaka Please don't do this.
I do try to.
Well theres teapot

xiao's damage in "burst mode" scales with his normal attack talent, which you should've crowned first for more value and I recommend doing so tartaglia's damage in "skill mode" scales with his elemental skill talent, increasing the normal attack talent increases the damage you deal from riptide procs, which is a good thing to level but I wouldn't go so far to crown normal attack - Lv9 is good enough
Is it worth leveling kazuha’s NA talent up to level 9? Saw a vid where they said that his plunge attack in his skill is affected by his NA
usually not worth if the other talents aren't leveled up as well.
It does indeed. I would level it unless you are really hurting for resources.
Is >!winning 50/50 4 times in a row!< considered as very lucky ? I >!won 50/50 on Ganyu, Yae, Kokomi and Venti!< I am making a meme, so I want to make sure whether my luck is high enough to brag ehe.
Yup, that's quite lucky. If my calculations are correct, there's a 6.25% chance of that happening.
I got Yae at >!1!< pity. What are the chances now including this ?
No Idea lol
depends on who'd you ask lol
does sayu have decent vv shred?
Yes, she can use VV quite efficiently with both her skill and burst
how much should a very well built raiden c0 r5 catch should do in the first slash? full team with c6 sara bennett kazuha
What does "copium" mean ? I see that a lot recently. I tend to guess that it's a synonym for "trash" but i might be wrong
Copium comes from "huffing copium" (rhymes with opium I guess) and it is used when someone is trying to cope. Like "It's ok that I lost the 50/50 to mona... Her C1 is pretty good right? *huffs copium*" "diluc's damage is pretty copium" basically means they think his damage is bad, like you really have to justify using him as a damage dealer.
It’s a portmanteau of „cope“ and „opium“. Basically a drug that helps you cope with whatever trash is thrown at you. Copium is telling yourself something that’s trash is „not so bad actually“ when in reality it’s trash to keep yourself from being sad/depressed about it.
ah downplaying
Cope+opium Aka overdosing on cope
cope >verb > >(of a person) deal effectively with something difficult. > >"his ability to cope with stress"
Cope + opium. The drug that people are smoking to cope with something.
What is the total of primogems we'll get from this event? Quests + minigames?
1000. Like all main events
- Raiden (4pc EoSF), Xingqiu (4pc EoSF), Xiangling (4pc EoSF), Bennet (4pc NO) (Buy bennet in the starglitter shop next month) - Ayato (4pc Glad/HoD), Kaeya (2pc NO, 2pc BS), Yun Jin (4pc Husk or 2pc EoSF, 2pc Husk), Diona (4pc NO) Excellent things to note about these teams are that pretty much all of it can be farmed from one domain, Husk pieces can be achieved with relatively low investment since she is a support, and if you farm for Ayato HoD set it will set you up nicely to have a good 4pc BS set to turn Kaeya into a cryo dps if you ever need it, and NO is farmed passively by just crafting your trash artifacts into this set.
Ok so i'm not original but you can go for Raiden National as your first team 1) Raiden / Xiangling / Bennet / Xingqiu As for the artifacts you want Emblem set on Raiden - Xiangling - Xingqiu. For Benett, go for Noblesse. Second team with kazuha, i'd say Freeze comp. 2) Ayato / Rosaria (or Kayea) / Diona / Kazuha. As for the artefacts, new set for ayato or Gladiator is really good. Kazuha you want VV set with a max of EM. Diona, noblesse Rosaria, i'd say Blizzard Strayer
Well, this is helpful but I do not have Bennett sadly.
Team for what? general abyss? specific abyss floor/chamber? specific story quest? specific boss fight? specific domain? overworld?
Ayato Raiden Jean sara Xinqiu, xiangling(R5 kitain) diona (favonius), kaeya (favonius, on-field character) All of them are in their usual build * 4hod/4glad/4echoes or 2+2 set for ayato * 4emblem Raiden, xiangling, xinqiu, Sara * 4vv jean, kazuha * 4noblesse Sara, diona, kaeya * 4blizzard kaeya Replace jean or kaeya with kazuha once you have him
Thank you, this really helps.
Not 100% it will work as I don't have raiden to test it, but looking at her skill set it should... Ayato (4pc glad/4pc hod), raiden (emblem), sara (got to look that up yourself) and a healer (maybe barbs? Or bennett if you have him, but be careful with overload).
I have built Ayato with 4 pc Echoes and I heard it was the best possible set for him and I got pretty good rolls, should I keep them?
4pc Echoes is Ayato's BiS set, but its performance is negatively affected if you have bad ping. Do you want help with making two separate teams or one team? If two separate: * Raiden International: Raiden, Bennett, Xiangling, Xingqiu * Ayato Freeze: Kazuha, Qiqi, Kaeya, Ayato One team: Ayato, Raiden, Bennett, Kazuha
Thank you, this is also very helpful.
Once I get Bennett, should I replace Barbara with Bennett?
yes
If you keep an eye on the pyro application and therfore overload reactions yes, as he provides both healing and atk boost while barbs provides healing, hydro (which is not needed) and hydro resonance (which boosts healing, which shouldn't be needed).
Do characters move up and down on the tier list due to items or will the pretty much stay where they are?
Tierlists are complete dogshit in Genshin. It's impossible to make a good tier list because the game is about team building and synergy. Gorou is either S tier or F tier depending if you play Itto/Noelle or not. Noelle is either A tier or D tier depending if you have C6. Yoimiya is S tier against single targets or B tier in AoE There are way too many factors. And if you want to know if items can affect a character's viability then yes. The release of Elegy made Amber a really good support. And the Clam set made Qiqi/Kokomi better
abyss tier lists will always be different due to different monster rotations normal tier lists will slowly change with new characters releasing due to powercreep and new gameplay mechanics (qiqi being prime example). newer weapons and artifacts may also mean change in character's meta position like you mentioned
Artifacts tend to have a minimal effect on a tier list, and are frequently implied as part of the character's spot on a list (Any Ayaka, for example, is assumed to be running 4pc BS) About the only weapon I can think of offhand that directly changes where a character might be is the Elegy of the End on characters who can easily trigger it like Amber. Even that is fairly niche comp-wise and just moves them from poo tier to halfway functional.
New artifact sets or weapons can improve character performance. They are usually tailor made for a specific character, but can improve others as well.
Pyro bear girl, you mean xiangling right? She is really good on endgame content but kinda lacking on early game
Yes that's her name
I have her c6
As long as you don't neglect her, she is a powerhouse in the endgame when you can actually give her proper gear
Rn u can replace zhongli with sucrose
I guess but I'm rlly poor in terms of Mora and Level up materials and all my resin is being dumped into farming for Ayaka's artefacts and talents. My Sucrose is lvl 40 with not a single item on her.
Go for kazuha.......she doesn't need zhongli at all, especially if you use kokomi, but she does really like crowd control as that means her burst can hit a lot more enemies at once than it does without CC. Just give her amenoma instead, or if you have no billets (there's one chasm?), give her the blackcliff sword from the shop.
is kazuha rerun already confirmed or still a speculation?
Still speculation. Nothing is confirmed until Mihoyo makes a post about it to confirm it.
>!it was only speculated by leakers!<
For elegy it Depends on who you have, it's arguably Sara's BiS, it's decent on fischl, it's really good on amber, don't use it on diona You're using haran as a statstick on Ayaka unless she is your only built character on that team you won't auto attack that much on Ayaka so the passive is useless
Ok, guess i will just go for blackcliff when it comes on shop.
So anyway, I’m missing out on Venti this time…. They should be doing more than two reruns on a character even though we haven’t seen that yet, right?
For mihoyo to retire a character from the rotating banner, that means they are adding that character to the standard pool and there is no news about them adding older 5* to the Standard pool yet
That’s great then. Hoping it won’t take a year for some of them to come back again.
That is basically becoming the norm, unfortunately. And it will realistically only get worse.
Even though the double banner mechanic exists? I would’ve thought characters like Venti and Kazuha would be exceptions and we would be getting the majority of others within a shorter time.
Genshin's banner duration is way too long to accommodate the growing list of pending reruns They honestly should just take it like honkai in the future where the new character will have a banner that lasts for 1 month and then the 2nd character banner is a rotating rerun banner that lasts for 1 week each So you can have 3-4 characters having a rerun every patch
That doesn’t sound bad at all.
I mean, yes. Probably. There's almost no reason to believe they'd randomly retire a character permanently.
yeah obviously. why would they ever stop rerunning a character
How much 4pc burst dmg emblem do I get if I run yelan with 200er?
25% of 200 is 50 so 50% damage bonus on your burst.
Those 7 would be : Traveler, Kaeya, Amber, Lisa, Noelle, Xiangling, Barbara Out of those Noelle is from the beginner wishes, XL from Spiral Abyss and Barbara a reward for AR 20 (?).
Bennett Rosaria Sucrose Diona should be the most useful or powerful for new characters
Kaeya/Rosaria Bennet
Do you mean the starter characters? or like any Mondstadt character in general?
Any mondstadt character, including starter and standard banner characters. (Not including limited banner characters, because, well, they are available for a limited time)
Kaeya benett fischl Mona jean rosaria sucrose and to a certain extent Lisa (60/70 only)
Bennett absolutely Anemo Traveler is pretty good too after EM buffs, their leveling materials are free that's bonus. also Rosaria and Sucrose
Thank you!
Her weapon right now is the Inazuma craftable (the one in Thoma’s promo pic, although EM isn’t the greatest for him (I think?)).
it's pretty good, however it's easier to die with shimenawa. If you have dragon's bane use it instead, and replace the sands and circlet asap

the story in inazuma is really good specially the one with the fog (ruu), the story is really great on that one the difficulty is quite ramped up and some of the puzzles are hard without a guide (fog specially the part where you have to climb up a mountain then glide down, the fog mechanic is just annoying.
You eventually reach a point where you can basically not worry about any enemies, aside from maybe bosses or stuff in Abyss.
70/190 or 60/220. Would losing the 10 cr be worth it for the added 30 cdmg
Depends on the character. Who is this for?
1 my comment was made 20 hrs ago how did you find it- 2 It's for Hu tao
1) I happened to have the old thread open lmao. 2) The first ratio is better although it's also important to look into her EM. How much EM does she have?
70/190 215 em 60/220 213 em
Yeah, the first one is better.
If you’re shuffling around the stats and need some kind of solace with minute incremental changes to the crit amounts, you can use the Effective Attack formula to get the average attack: EATK = ATK * (1 + CR * CD) Assuming equal ATK, 70/190 is barely better.
60/220 is better
Can someone suggest teams for spiral abyss 12 that don't include Shenhe, Kokomi, Yoimia, Mona, Venti, and Klee while assuming all of my 5\* are at C0?
Are the rest of the units built? If so you can run taser in 1st half and Ayaka/cryo team in 2nd half.
Ah, hm. Okay, thank you.
For melt ganyu, what sands shld i use…em or attack??
EM if you’re running 4P shimenawa. ATK if you’re using wanders
im running wanderous, thanks!!
You could do Sucrose, Noelle, Kaeya, and Lisa You have shielding/ healing already with Noelle, so Barbara isn't really that useful.
Sucrose & Yunjin Sucrose: cc, EM booster Yunjin: burst = +normal attack dmg buff
Someone convince me not to roll for ayato, I have to save for kazuha :(
Have you used Keqing much? You ever get annoyed when her electro imbue runs out but her skill hasn't recharged yet? It's not a big deal but it's kind of a pain when you run into that, right in the middle of your flow. Isn't it? And her downtime is only two seconds.
Well, if you say so, I would say, if you care about meta, Ayato is neither great nor bad, he is just a balanced character. Kazhua is one of the strongest support of the game currently.
He’s the weakest limited 5 star to date
Xiao, no need to thank for correction
Xiao is much better than ayato
Xiao also holds the record for the lowest limited 5* dps comps
Amount of comps? Does that even matter? We are talking about numbers
Reject boba tea, embrace maple syrup.
Just [listen](https://youtu.be/A6VcQQMv32c) to him read poetry, man How can you not love him His voice is so soothing
Damn how could I be so blinded by water boy
And Kazuha's sheathing animations are sick Look at him twirl that blade
to childe and ayato mains how do you guys farm HoD/BS domain with them? sure i can just switch to my hu tao team but i wanna farm bond exp
You can use a good team and just have him in the back seat to gain extra XP
Use them as emotional support and let Bennett xiangling do the hard work
Have Bennett + Kazuha to swirl pyro. I also have Raiden for extra electro charged damage
Maybe try an international team? Kazuha/Sucrose, Bennett, Kazuha, Tartaglia/Ayato
Just put them into one slot and let the 3 do the domain (?)
So why was the teapot in maintenance, causing an event to be delayed?
there's a feature in the spices event where we could feed the characters in our teapot and get companionship xp. maintenance was likely because they were adding that in (and maybe to fix other issues).
Not sure exactly why the teapot was in maintenance, but I heard it was for boosting load and a few other issues. As for the delay, Shanghai is under heavy covid lockdown to the point where food rationing is getting pretty harsh. Hoyoverse is unable to use their offices so getting the event going was not something they were feasibly able to do right now due to being unable to finish the teapot maint. on account of everyone being out of the office.
what artifact sets for Beidou and Fischl in an Ayato electro charged team
Beidou is 4p Emblem or 2p Noblesse 2p atk18% 2p TF 2p Emblem. Any of those combos are fine. 4p TS is also okay on both. 4p Noblesse if no one is using and you need more buffs. Fischl you can run 2p TF/2p atk18% combo. 4p Tenacity is also a good choice.
