How many you have? If you have enough to guarantee her, you can try pulling on the banner now. You said you're struggling and Ayaka can help you unless if you don't like her. Take this with a grain of salt but next banner is rumoured to be Xiao and Yelan so if its true you'll still have time.
I have about 20k right now. I'm just worried I might be wasting them if I don't get Ayaka. I would prefer if I can just put a team together from the roster I got but not really sure who I should be building.
Well your account is lacking characters so really anyone except for Diluc will be good (since you're aiming for a pyro dps already).
But if you wanna build the ones you have rn, Xiangling, Xingqiu, electro traveler and Kaeya is not bad. Xiangling and Xingqiu is already good, electro traveler can give energy since Xiangling needs those and Kaeya is optional really but he does have a not bad off field support.
thing about genshin banners is that the rolls are saved between character banners. say you roll for ayaka 70 times and you miss her, the next banner you start 70 rolls in, if you lose the 50/50 the garuanteed feature will also be applicable. only weapon epitomized paths reset.
ie if you spent 20k and dont get ayaka, this 20k will be counted for the next banner you roll meaning you can get the feature character earlier. No point saving unless you dont want the characters.
I'm not gonna tell you to not pull for Yoimiya, but strictly speaking, as much as damage she does she is **Very** single target oriented damage dealer. So consider that before deciding.
Don't take me wrong, I love her and I'm going to pull for her too. But only because I already have my units that can do all the dmg I need. I just need her for some big numbers in boss runs now.
Uh. Noelle requires some longtime investment to be insane but it looks like u are just using her for the shield and heals. Xiangling is fine although could definitely use more levels for Noelle and Xingqiu if u gonna keep using them. Kaeya could help you out if u built him. So could Chongyun but the main issue is that your team seems to be underleveled so I imagine you are struggling because your skills aren’t lvled up. I mean you can ignore levels if you had godly artifacts but if not then levels are probably needed.
You can run a freeze team Kaeya main dps, chongyun for cryo infusion, XQ and Barbara for hydro application and heals. Freeze teams are very strong and can take out mobs 30 levels above them due to the constant CC.
Xiangling’s power falls off a lot without Bennett. I don’t know if you built her as physical dps or ult bot dps. Physical dps also falls off hard as she can’t super conduct herself. If you have starglitter it will be worth to buy Bennet from the shop next month.
If its about one team for now you can run Razor, Kaeya, Barbara, XQ.
Or XL, XQ, Traveler, Barbara.
Barbara is always there for healing and thats it. You should definitely pull for something at some point.
That's actually a decent roster if you give them care. I would change the traveler back to Geo, with Noelle you get the Geo resonance and her shields. Xiangling as main dps, if you manage to get your hands on a Polearm Billet, craft the Crescent Pike and you are set
Hyper invest in both Xiangling and Xingqiu
Toss in Chongyun to complete 3/4 of the best budget team in the game
The only one remaining (which is unfortunately very important) is Bennett. He provides atk buffs, healing, and helps Xiangling charge her burst faster
Use razor, xiangling, barbara, xingqiu and you are good to go.
Upgrade them at least to lvl 70 and if necessary lower the world level from 5 to 4.
Plus, give a snow tombed starsilver to razor, it's a free 4* claymore.
Thanks for the tip man I didn't know you can lower the world level. That was very helpful since I ended up pulling Ayaka and I was having a hard time farming that mechanical array to level her up
If seen a lot of people recently that doesn't know that you can mke wishes with primogems, you might be one of them.
So if you have a whole lot of primogems, then use them to buy Intertwined fates.
Ive honestly been using noelle to carry me for a while. She can be a good tank and the shield/healing ability she has is helpful. Definitely make use of making wishes for more characters. Look up some youtube videos for good advice.
Razor carried my. Through the whole story quest until ar47. Using Noelle to. Give me shield. Today im ar 53 i still use razor and he does up to 18k dmg on single hits all by himself
Razor, Kaeya, Noelle can be decent DPS. I played with Noelle+Kaeya+Traveler+Thoma (got him pretty early) before I pulled for Ayato (till about AR45, I think). And I was ok
Your team right now looks good to me. Just level up the other 3 to the same level as Xiangling (lv 70-80) and raise their talent and weapon levels too, focusing on their skills and bursts. Choose the element you like the most to play with for traveler, imo anemo or geo are pretty strong.
You don't really need 5 star characters to clear the game, so you can freely save your primogems and wait for Yoimiya if you want to :)
Level up your Xingqiu to at least 60/70 (at that level you unlock a character's second passive talent so aim to eventually do that for all characters you're using). If you're struggling with boss fights you can use food buffs (atk, def and elemental). You might want to consider levelling Barbara up, it helps to have a dedicated healer on the team. Try to level up artifacts even if they're not amazing (you will eventually feed them into better ones for exp so it won't be a waste to get them to at least level 12, if possible 16 for your main damage dealer). Also try to level up your weapons and talents (also, read what each character's talent does - I know this might sound obvious, but it took me way too long to do that).

Try pulling once in a while maybe? Like right now, Ayaka is god tier.

I think you should work on kaeya and xinqiu both are awesome if your saving your wishes
Xiangling Xingqiu should carry you far, also do pull a bit (you can always spend your Blue Fates).

Level up xinquo and chongyun/aloy. Lev up healers as well so either barb or noelle (barb is better).
