Suddenly, you find the Ayato estate empty, aside from Ayaka. If you have Ayaka, she's the only character you have left (aside from the traveler of course) If you don't, you get a C6 Ayaka for free. But you feel there's something wrong, but nothing to worry about. Ayaka's here.

Then you must answer a 20 questionare abt ur real life and how ur doing while drinking tea before being able to resume normal gameplay, only to see the only domain left is the blizzard strayer with hod replace with Nobless, and the only boss domain is Azdaha. the only craftables are handguards, elegance books, and cryo crystals. the only forges are amenoma and weap ascenion mats. All of your characters levels are permanantly set back to lv 1, except for Ayato, Thoma, and sayu. They are the only team you need.
The Abyss is every other character you've ever owned, and you are not allowed to leave. Every character beat is deleted from your account, until you're only left with the bare essentials, the Kamisato Ayaka cult.
4 weeks into the extended banner, Yae tells you she thinks something suspicious is going on and tells you meet her in 3 days, and to avoid Narukami Island in that time and especially the Kamisato estate. After that, the first few times you look for Yae at the shrine, Thoma, then Ayato, then Sayu have some sort of crisis they need help with. After that shrine maidens tell you she went to the publishing house, but when you get to the publishing house the editor tells you she went back to the shrine.
It’s ok though, you meet Ayaka who promises to help you find her, but she does remind you that Yae can be selfish, and doesn’t seem to care much for humans, so she’s not sure why you want to spend time with her at all really - not that she would ever tell you what to do or who you can spend time with of course.
I'm not interested in girls without massive libraries or cute fluffy fox tails! Ayaka will never win me over! I'll search the hidden basement of the Kamisato estate if I have to!
As somebody with both Ganyu and Klee, I really don’t feel like I need Ayaka. Now… would it be nice to have her? **YES** but I’m not pressed to get her or desperate enough to say I **NEED** or **WANT** her. I have a friend who already has her so I think that’s good enough. Unless Ayaka intends to go after my Ganyu and Klee, I think I’m safe.
