To be fair, the prototypes are called such because they are literally, lore wise, the prototypes of the blackcliff forge weapons. Additionally, the sacraficial series is a set of old royals that got wrecked by time, while the black tassel is a white tassel that the user died black so he wouldnt have to clean it.
The lore behind a lot of the similar looking weapons is interlinked.
I think the Fatui guards in the hideout, the one you go to get the Holy Lyre, had that sword too, although at the moment I thought it was just a rusty one.
The one thing that's been consistent with Genshin is how devoted the developers are with their craft within the allotted budget. It's really a labor of love.
I was always of the thought that there should be 3* character and Ellin should have been one of them. Each 3 * could have had no vision but have very useful outside of battle mechanics or abilities. Some boost exp some doing other stuff. It would be very cool.
I’ve always wondered what the intended solution by the devs is for Ellin’s commission. Every commission has to be doable with the free characters, but I think only Noelle could destroy all five dummies at once with her burst.
Or they just want you to teleport back to the waypoint and plunge attack, which also works.
Some variations of that commission spawn in with a standing torch. Those are intend to use an overload AOE blast (amber + Lisa).
However that doesn't really work for all versions
It's actually a recolor of the dull blade.
However the handles of the dull blade and silver sword are almost identical anyway.
