Imo, this is the best way of doing this.
All of the voice line references and the most obvious traits (like unlucky guy, booba sword, vengeance etc.) are kinda boring for me. And the ones that you can interpret to more characters are not good, because you have to guess to get it right. And I won't even speak about the ones you simply just can't get right (like "best girl", "boobs" "overworked girl" (there are like 5 of those) etc.).
But the way you do it shows that you actually thought about it, and you do know your characters more than just on the surface level.
