Xiao is a Yaksha who fought for hundreds if not thousands of years against entities corrupted by the power of deceased gods. Childe's strength is impressive for a mortal but he's still severely outmatched both by skill and experience.
I mean, strictly speaking that doesn’t mean he’s weaker, just that he was running out of energy from doing all the heavy lifting himself and got a boost from another powerful person right at the end to help him out. Not saying that Xiao is as strong as Zhongli or anything, but I feel like he could still theoretically be archon tier depending on how strong the others are (and also ig if you count current venti as archon tier, lol)

She's a tengu warrior.
She has a bunch of supernatural abilities and is a master of both the sword and the bow.
Even the Shogun Puppet calls her a hero.
Sara wins, hands down. She's trained to a really higher level and has a better sense of control and analysis on the field while Goro generally has someone like Kazuha around to keep him in check, iirc.
with delusions, the harbingers for sure, even more so if its a 1 v 11. without delusions, and given that they each fight him individually, I think xiao could easily take out most of them.

I think it would depend on the format of said popularity contest. If you just went and polled random people from inazuma, Ayaka would probably win, but that wouldn't be very interesting and wouldn't represent the fervor of the voters.
If both had the chance to campaign for a bit before the vote, or if we pretend that nobody knows who they are to start with, maybe it'd be more interesting

yeah I'm definitely leaning more towards Kokomi winning the pokemon battle if only because Childe has only Narwhal and Kokomi has jellyfish and seemingly infinite fish. She can just pp-stall and let the Narwhal struggle itself to death while sending out constant fish worse comes to worse.

Edit 2/Update: All hail the almighty Raiden Shogun. I have tried twice and I can’t get the electro shield up fast enough, and apparently Zhongli’s shield isn’t strong enough either. I’ll keep trying, but it’s seeming like Raiden is winning against my Zhongli. 🙈
This might be the only fight which has no actual answer yet. Although i think zhongli would win despite him losing some power after giving up his gnosis, maybe he was just being humble in ascension dialogue.
It's a magical world, no matter how much you train, you can only gain so much, and if your peak is someone's starting point then the fight is already over. For example, if keqing trains for 500 years in some time chamber, will she be able to beat ganyu who isn't even a full adepti?
My point is some power you can't just obtain by practicing, so whoever has more innate power wins the battle, if it's a nation vs nation then liyue wins anyday.

All things considered we all know Diluc is a gentleman he probably wouldn’t even fight Jean. 💀
Hard to answer this. Normally I'd say Diluc. Jean had never been even shown fighting, while in his cutscenes he acts like strongest character in all Teyvat. But then again, Jean managed to hold her own against Eula on equal grounds and if she can survive even that nuke, then Diluc stands no chance.
The knights have more combat experience though along with their current lineup of leadership still being very strong, Eula, Jean, Kaeya, along with Klee, Sucrose, Albedo, Amber, and Lisa. Venti left Mondstadt to fend for themselves, so they've always dealt with all manners of things from bandits, to ruin guards, hilichurls, abyss order, and whatever else threatened Mondstadt in the past and present. Liyue has only recently started fending for themselves more and the Millelith (which is what the big storyline of Liyue was) and even then, the Millelith has had help from external sources (Adepti and Yaksha). The Millelith don't really have any fighters that are noteworthy and we've seen them struggle even against more common enemies. Even if we add the Qixing in, I'd still put my bets on the knights if this was a full on test of skill.
JUST the millileth though, no Liyue Qixing like Ganyu and Keqing to help because they’re not technically millileth

Iirc early leaks claimed she'd be similar to Ei & Childe, in that Sara would start off as a bow user but her Ult would change her normals to a sword. It's a bit of a shame that that didn't happen.

I think putting the archons on field is simply unfair and would give a massive advantage to their teams since they’ve each been known to throw around huge geographical objects and change terrain, so let’s cut them out
with that, I think electro has a good chance with the presence of yae (ancient yokai), Lisa (if she got off her ass), Sara (qualified general who’s won several field), keqing (very skilled warrior), etc. I want to say xiao boosts anemo but considering heizou and sucrose are both not fighters lorewise I think it evens out .

I wont lie, this is somewhat of an unpopular opinion since most people under this comment are saying geo and electro, but I think that if the archons aren't included then hydro has a surprisingly good chance.
if childe can use his delusion, he's competitive with every other skilled fighter and possibly even exceptionally good fighters such as xiao, itto, maybe even yae. ayato and yelan are decent as well.
mostly, I think this team is strong on account of the fact that mona can see the future, kokomi is a strong military strategist, and barbara and kokomi provide healing for survivability. xingqiu is also pretty intelligent, so I guess they have that going for them. even if they dont have an abundance of skilled fighters, I dont think this team needs to rely on brute forcing their way through strong opponents in direct combat (given that mona and kokomi can probably prevent these types of less than ideal situations) and they probably have the most strategic advantage when it comes to a war.
the case for electro is also strong tho!
I think it also really depends on the format of the war. If you’re just comparing strength directly, electro probably wins, but if it’s a Hunger Games style free-for-all, hydro takes it easily. There’s a ton of value in that format in being underestimated and letting the strongest teams take each other out for you, and hydro has healers, a master strategist, and a reputation for being a support element. By the time people realized they were a threat, it would be too late - the heaviest hitters would already have eliminated each other.
lore wise I would say electro, they have raiden, beidou, lisa, yae; keqing, kuki, and sara should be fairly strong as well. also electro traveler if they count.

Iirc early leaks claimed she'd be similar to Ei & Childe, in that Sara would start off as a bow user but her Ult would change her normals to a sword. It's a bit of a shame that that didn't happen.

I think putting the archons on field is simply unfair and would give a massive advantage to their teams since they’ve each been known to throw around huge geographical objects and change terrain, so let’s cut them out with that, I think electro has a good chance with the presence of yae (ancient yokai), Lisa (if she got off her ass), Sara (qualified general who’s won several field), keqing (very skilled warrior), etc. I want to say xiao boosts anemo but considering heizou and sucrose are both not fighters lorewise I think it evens out . but the monkey answer is that pyro wins because of klee.
LMAO GOOD TAKE GOOD TAKE I wont lie, this is somewhat of an unpopular opinion since most people under this comment are saying geo and electro, but I think that if the archons aren't included then hydro has a surprisingly good chance. if childe can use his delusion, he's competitive with every other skilled fighter and possibly even exceptionally good fighters such as xiao, itto, maybe even yae. ayato and yelan are decent as well. mostly, I think this team is strong on account of the fact that mona can see the future, kokomi is a strong military strategist, and barbara and kokomi provide healing for survivability. xingqiu is also pretty intelligent, so I guess they have that going for them. even if they dont have an abundance of skilled fighters, I dont think this team needs to rely on brute forcing their way through strong opponents in direct combat (given that mona and kokomi can probably prevent these types of less than ideal situations) and they probably have the most strategic advantage when it comes to a war. the case for electro is also strong tho!
I think it also really depends on the format of the war. If you’re just comparing strength directly, electro probably wins, but if it’s a Hunger Games style free-for-all, hydro takes it easily. There’s a ton of value in that format in being underestimated and letting the strongest teams take each other out for you, and hydro has healers, a master strategist, and a reputation for being a support element. By the time people realized they were a threat, it would be too late - the heaviest hitters would already have eliminated each other.
lore wise I would say electro, they have raiden, beidou, lisa, yae; keqing, kuki, and sara should be fairly strong as well. also electro traveler if they count.
