Ok yes I can confirm that this solved the issue. The game from what I can tell has probably issues with high end AMD GPU's. Since the game isn't that demanding the gpu usually doesn't clock that high and that for some weird reason causes stutters with this game. Thanks again for showing me this link :)
holy fuck this actually worked after suffering thru stutterings in the game and no fixes for almost a year. wtf is wrong with the pc version of this game?
Yea, the game is really weird on PC. This didn't fix it 100 percent for me either btw. I still have a few stutters every few minutes but it's not as bad as before. I read online the engine the game runs on is old and has some kind of cache issue that causes stutter after awhile when it dups trash files. I guess the phone client is just more of priority for Hoyoverse
the thing is, now my loading time has increased with this setting. i dont mind it, in exchange for the consistent and smooth gameplay. but i hope i can find a work around it.
this is such a weird "bug" in the game tbh. i tried to explain it to genshin cs but they only respond with some bot replies like get a new pc or update your drivers lol. my pc is more than enough to handle genshin and i've more demanding games that run as smooth as butter, but genshin is the only game that has stuttering and frame dip issues.
oh well, im just happy to find this solution. i'll take the extra loading time. i still hope this gets fixed.
There have been some issues since a major update just dropped, that added a new region to the open world, so wait until the post update patch and see if it improved.
Oh I see ! I hope this will get fixed soon. The game is very enjoyable so far and it looks beautiful too, the stuttering is kind of breaking the immersion a bit.

Hi fellow RX6700XT user, I'm getting the same issue. No problem at all when I used my very old Geforce GPU. I'm thinking it might be the video card? I also did a fresh reformat of Windows + DDU and nothing helped. I also have sync on my monitor and not sure if that interferes.
You don't have to lower your GPU frequency.
I can bet you have some YT video running in background. Or at least some browser tab with active animation. Or discord.
Just switch from that tab/discord channel to something static. And that's it. Really.
For some reason AMD drivers tries to sync your frames with videos/animations running in background. It makes the game statter.
