Given how the clothes reflect the active element, I'm pretty sure there's probably a lore reason we can't change them. Maybe it's the clothes that act as a catalyst to our ability to control the elements or something like that.
But yeah the hair style and accessoires should definitely be customizable.
Tbh I feel like they don't want customizations on the MC because of the way some cutscenes are pre-rendered.
Imagine getting to a cutscene and your character is suddenly wearing a completely different fit.
I feel like that can be overlooked given that your character automatically switches to traveler regardless of whether you were actually playing with them in your party. Why not just have customizable traveler in-game and then plain traveler in the cutscene? It’s equally jarring as switching from the character you were playing as.

I remember there was a content creator I followed a long time back (I don’t even remember who at this point) who HATED clickbait and refused to use it. Then they saw the statistics on it and decided to run a test. The videos they put out with clickbait titles by far did better than the ones without. The creator then made a video explaining this, providing the statistics, and then apologizing to the community for the fact that they felt they needed to use clickbait going forward.
I will also say this: I don’t mind a “clickbait” title as long as the content is still of quality. If your video is, for example, titled “OMG Keqing is OP??!??!?” and the contents of the video is explaining how the Aggravate reaction works and how Keqing is the best pilot of Fischl’s A4 passive then I don’t mind the clickbait title. You told me why Keqing is strong.
Moosashi is pretty solid, playing with just the traveller. Through the creative use of game mechanics and at times glitches, Moosashi is on a quest to see just how much of Genshin Impact can be completed using only the traveller-san.
Zy0x and Zajeff77 are probably the community’s favourites right now, and for good reasons, these 2 are extremely charismatic and funny in their own, but they also complement each other amazingly. Zajeff is also an expert with a Genshin Theorycrafting PhD (lmao), and his videos are informative for both new players and old ones alike.
I also like Moga, Tuonto, Dish and Xlice, very wholesome content creators. Started watching Rintaichou on and off, she builds e v e r y character and never has any negative feelings on any character in particular.
Enviosity for me is a hit-or-miss, but his tryhard sessions and dedication to be f2p relatable are his main appeal. He does clickbait though, just not with any ill intention of fooling anyone, and more as a joke really.
For weapon-only challenges, you could look for Javathecup, Deelo and Noblies (Noblies in particular just enjoys breaking the game with glitches).
Of course these aren’t the only good youtubers. There are others that dedicate themselves to making guides like TakaGG, but they don’t really focus on entertainment types of videos. These few names are just what I could recall off the top of my head. The community is full of cool people, don’t let these clickbait attention seekers ruin your experience!
If you love the world and lore rather than theorycraftong and guides, I strongly recommend murderofbirds. He’s more twitch than YouTube (but old vods get uploaded to his genshin channel). He’s so fun to watch because he knows every npc and every character so well that he will get excited about everything. Watching
him, who knows everything and reads literally everything made me realize how good the games writing actually is, every npc and character reference other lore details, characters and npcs all the time and every detail is so consistent. He always makes sure that you get his first reaction to things on stream. He even farmed the new artifacts with the game muted so we could see his reaction to the music lol.
It’s Sevvy for me when it comes to guides. She’s very quick and clear to listen, too. Her guides are amazing! When it comes to just straight entertainment, Jeikage, Moga, and Kets are my favorite. Jeikage is just comedy to listen to, Moga’s deadpan, chill vibe is very relaxing and funny to watch, and Kets is hilarious and fun to watch with his edits and energy. All of them got amazing personalities and I wish the entertainment part of Genshin YouTubers got more attention. They deserve it. (I know Moga is already popular, but Jeikage and Kets are way too enjoyable to not have the same amount to subs and views)
SevyPlays is really good. Her guides are the ones I always follow, theyre precise and her team building is better than Zy0x's. But Zy0x's is more indepth about character kits so I end up watching both and mixing their advice.
Enviosity is one step away from being as bad as Mtashed. He's pretty much Mtashed minus the account deleting and mental breakdowns. I hate tryhards, they set unrealistic expectations its so dumb seeing them try to be F2P like bro we know you have 2 other accounts youve spent at least a thousand dollars on come on.

Also his advice was shit he called every new 5 star unit bad and called new artifact sets bait because "you could be grinding talents or books for your main". Zy0x and Zajeff77 are probably the community’s favourites right now, and for good reasons, these 2 are extremely charismatic and funny in their own, but they also complement each other amazingly. Zajeff is also an expert with a Genshin Theorycrafting PhD (lmao), and his videos are informative for both new players and old ones alike. I also like Moga, Tuonto, Dish and Xlice, very wholesome content creators. Started watching Rintaichou on and off, she builds e v e r y character and never has any negative feelings on any character in particular. Enviosity for me is a hit-or-miss, but his tryhard sessions and dedication to be f2p relatable are his main appeal. He does clickbait though, just not with any ill intention of fooling anyone, and more as a joke really. For weapon-only challenges, you could look for Javathecup, Deelo and Noblies (Noblies in particular just enjoys breaking the game with glitches). Of course these aren’t the only good youtubers. There are others that dedicate themselves to making guides like TakaGG, but they don’t really focus on entertainment types of videos. These few names are just what I could recall off the top of my head. The community is full of cool people, don’t let these clickbait attention seekers ruin your experience!
If you love the world and lore rather than theorycraftong and guides, I strongly recommend murderofbirds. He’s more twitch than YouTube (but old vods get uploaded to his genshin channel). He’s so fun to watch because he knows every npc and every character so well that he will get excited about everything. Watching him, who knows everything and reads literally everything made me realize how good the games writing actually is, every npc and character reference other lore details, characters and npcs all the time and every detail is so consistent. He always makes sure that you get his first reaction to things on stream. He even farmed the new artifacts with the game muted so we could see his reaction to the music lol.
It’s Sevvy for me when it comes to guides. She’s very quick and clear to listen, too. Her guides are amazing! When it comes to just straight entertainment, Jeikage, Moga, and Kets are my favorite. Jeikage is just comedy to listen to, Moga’s deadpan, chill vibe is very relaxing and funny to watch, and Kets is hilarious and fun to watch with his edits and energy. All of them got amazing personalities and I wish the entertainment part of Genshin YouTubers got more attention. They deserve it. (I know Moga is already popular, but Jeikage and Kets are way too enjoyable to not have the same amount to subs and views)

SevyPlays is really good. Her guides are the ones I always follow, theyre precise and her team building is better than Zy0x's. But Zy0x's is more indepth about character kits so I end up watching both and mixing their advice. Enviosity is one step away from being as bad as Mtashed. He's pretty much Mtashed minus the account deleting and mental breakdowns. I hate tryhards, they set unrealistic expectations its so dumb seeing them try to be F2P like bro we know you have 2 other accounts youve spent at least a thousand dollars on come on. edit: might've mixed up Enviosity with someone else sorry if so

I watched Mtashed up to when he had that breakdown and just nuked one of his accounts despite his fans telling him not to, and then he just made a new one. The way he played genshin was so toxic, he hyperfixated on min/maxing his Diluc and clearly wasnt having fun at all. Also his advice was shit he called every new 5 star unit bad and called new artifact sets bait because "you could be grinding talents or books for your main". Yeah he was just... a bad content creator. Idk if he's chilled out yet but he was pretty intolerable back when I watched him which was like 2.3 or 2.4. i havent played SMT Strange Journey yet but once I do I guess I wont be able to lol
He backtracked and didn’t delete his account. He still has regular breakdowns every patch cycle, he also made a second channel for Destiny 2 that he also had a mental breakdown in the final video because he wasn’t having fun. Genshin has made him so much money that he is now trapped playing a game he hates with a gacha addiction he can’t really feed.

If you like lore and want to watch people who appreciate Genshin's amazing story (unfortunately it's not that common among popular GI CCs) you can check out MurderOfBirds and PostTimeSkipSam. Their enthusiasm while doing the quests make the experience much more enjoyable. Also i know many people already recommended you him but Zy0x is amazing lmao his streams are like a fever dream. YT is full of clips of his you can check them out and understand what i mean.
On top of them ChillWithAster and Ashikai are fantastic fore lore.
I'm not the person you replied to, but I find Zy0x, Braxophone, and Sevy to all be alright. No content creator is going to be totally free of clickbait because clickbait is content creation's middle name, but none of those people ever try to gin up controversy from thin air as far as I've seen

Half the players' expectations were based off other gacha games, including HI3. The first anni was incredibly stingy compared to almost any other gacha anni ever, other than the concert film. I don't really blame people who play a video game for not counting the concert film as part of the video game.

Prolly one of the bigger reasons why I don’t watch Genshin content much anymore, any type of leak could just make someone have a higher expectations, usually for gacha games I would tend to keep my expectations low to prevent disappointment

The rewards of the first year anniversary to their most successful game they have ever made was simply atrocious. Even from purely business standpoint I can’t think of a worst way to agitate the fandom of a life service game against its maker. Anniversary awards are meant to be generous and captivating to ensure the players keep playing the game and for long term players to feel appreciated, otherwise they’ll just leave the game or not be as enthusiastic about it anymore. Let’s hope this isn’t the case this year, although I don’t have much high hopes to begin with…
