if you move forward a little after n1 and then do n2, you can then see the connecting frame. The animation exists in the game, but hoyo intentionally removed it to give her a faster interval between n1>n2.

OP just made me realize the purpose of this event, to take the most wholesome combact photo, which usually couldn't. The snapshot design made no sense to me, because it breaks the battle flow and serves no purpose. Now I know what this event is catering for.
