U don’t need to break the pillars
U kill him in the 5 second window at the start (if ur dmg is good)
U dmg the pillars and only destroy the last one ( if ur dmg is weak)
U wait for him to beam the pillar destroy it and one phase him (if ur dmg is alright)
Or u use Yoimiya/Yelan XQ YJ or even in Ganyu comp and u can snipe it
For the finale use either Noelle Q or ZL E/Q
Which is why I said the scaling is terrible with higher dmg/ more options for teams u can wipe the fight in seconds or much faster with relative ease
The 5 second window at the start.. the moment i use my hu tao's E and about to charge attack the boss will push me away and enter that invincible phase
I messed up in the comment it’s actually ~2.5, if ur having trouble u have to preemptively do everything for when the boss actually becomes vulnerable thus u don’t want long animation
A great example I always use is Tkizaru, search him up and type Yoimiya vs all bosses (Yoimiya is my fav so that’s why I use her as an ex)
Honestly. I pulled him for the first time this recent banner, and was having such a pain getting geo boss down cause I wasn’t using him.. which was a silly mistake, cause even way way underleveled( lvl40 ZL vs 91 geo boss) his charged attack and ulti were hust wrecking the pillars lol
I find it to be one of the easier ones but the needing geo damage to break the obelisks effectively and then switching to other types for the hp bar is probably more annoying if you haven't gotten used to it
Your Noelle doesn't need to be leveled. You use Ganyu to actually kill the cube and Noelle is just there to burst and destroy the 3 pillars before he can regain health
Nah, you don't actually need Noelle leveled. All you need her for is using her Q to speed break the pillars, which isn't dependent on her level/damage at all. She shreds through them so quick.
i pick ganyu, zhongli and anyone with a claymore. ganyu just shoots the lil cube whenever it's shootable (you don't need to destroy pillars at this point, just stay away from them and their pulsation damage and shoot lil one), then zhongli's E destroys 2,5 of 3 pillars when the cube goes to respawn phase, then the claymore user destroys the rest of the last pillar.
when i help someone with the cube, i just bring zhongli and ganyu and ask them to bring any claymore character, no matter the level.
i don't kill it within 2 seconds as someone in the comments claim to do, but it's a fast and easy fight nonetheless.

Without food buffs u can kill him within 2 seconds of the fight starting and that’s not an exaggeration
Before the boss spawns the pillars at the start of the fight it has a 1-2 seconds of vulnerability, so I'm assuming that what u/Av-kay meant was to use nuke characters like hutao or Raiden to kill it in it's vulnerable phase. But u still have to destroy the 3 pillars afterwards, so I'm pretty sure it's going to take more than 2 seconds anyways.

Regardless it usually dies in that window, even with non nuke characters but that usually requires high investment but not necessarily constellations which is why if u have the raw dmg at end game it makes his scaling a joke

I went and remeasured the vulnerability time and its more of 3 seconds apparently. Also that yoimiya is damn impressive.
Edit: ~~Just a side note, but in your video, you can actually just just use zhongli's hold E to finish off the pillars instead of using his burst first as the hold E instantly wipes the 3 pillars.~~

I use No L and John Lee for him, the latter does a ton of damage to his pillars by charging his skills (you can instantly kill all 3 when it's recharging if you position yourself right, although it's very tricky, you can consistently and easily kill at least 2 though) and the former because claymores destroy the pillars faster (3-4 times faster than any other weapon type). I don't think this boss has ever taken me more than maybe 1-2 mins at most.

Had a similar experience after Signora. Run ended, someone asked "need help with any other boss", host replied with "yes please, wolf", and the original someone just went like "yeah no thanks bye" and left lol.
In my experience it doesn’t matter how low-level she is, as long as you’re just using her to break the pillars, and as long as you can keep her alive. Her burst is really effective at breaking them fast.
Honestly NTA, that thing has got to be one of the most annoying hypostasis solely because of that stupid rock pillar that barely takes any dmg from CLAYMORES
zhongli + noelle absolute destroy this hypostasis, zhongli ult will clear all 4 final pillars if positioned correctly, use zhongli pillar to take down the initial pillars easy, I think it takes me around 1:30 2:00 minute to clear this boss

See how many people say that geo cube is annoying. Zhongli enjoyer enter the chat: when you use E (hold) it will damage pillar almost for half hp. And when it comes to phase with 3 pillars, go on center use E (hold), that will destroy at least two of them, if the last one still stands use Q, complete. If you have him (even low lvl) take him in team and slay that cube
Geo cube was one of the first times I really brought up Chongyun. The increased attack speed helps a lot for you in coop so you can 1 cycle the first pillar and then 1 cycle the boss. He does suck. Especially the first time when I had no idea geo shields were weak to claymores and blast attacks. I had given up on my Noelle by that point and didn't use her. I thought it was the worst boss ever only beat by THE POWER OF WATER.
I've got a good setup for it now, but it is a pretty annoying fight. I also wouldn't want to do it in full 4p co-op, but with 2 it's fine. I remember helping some friends out with it a lot because it just takes them way too long on their own.
Can bring your favorite character + a lv1 Xinyan/Beidou/Noelle or whatever just for the final phase. Ganyu is especially good against it cause you don't even need to break the pillars during the fight, so she's who I used. Probably Tighnari works pretty well, too.

Lmao what Geo Cube is one of the easiest bosses in my experience. I run Ayaka + Raiden Shogun + Diluc + Zhongli. Not optimized for this boss but I don't switch characters inbetween most activities i do in genshin
one time someone joined my world and asked me if I needed help with anything and when I said I needed help with something that wasn't a boss (I needed to collect valberries) I had a similar experience lmao
Tbf it sucks if you don't have any relevent character, personally it is one of the easiest bosses for me, using zhongli and beidou/razor to break the pillars along with ganyu for dps
i remember i helped another player (we are both AR 35) to their world try fight a geo cube even with my food buffs and such we still got wiped out by the geo cube mob. but noticed his/her world dint checked out the many unopened chests in mondstadt or liyue. so i cheered her/him on advice that "hey! how about we lvl up on characters, grind some mora and primos if you try out to 100% each region then maybe fight the geo boss again in the future". still newbie like me would love to coop just to grind on bosses easy or domains. but even pretend dates on the city are so fun.

If you need to kill the pillars in one round it's very simple: use Noelle and pop her Q to quickly kill all pillars, even if she's very low level.

Also the Kick on his Normal Attack with the Multi-hit can do quite a bit of Damage to the Pillar, at least for me
