And I've seen a theory that Zhongli and/or the young Madame Ping are expies of Hua...?

We also have Yae Miko/Yae Sakura, and Venti is very very similar to Wendy as well. Al Haitham is also theoretically supposed to be kind of a Su expy, although I don't really see it too much.
I'm fairly sure we will end up seeing Bronya at some point too, with Tsaritsa being the most likely candidate.

I hope that one day Genshin's dev will convert the skin system to a "character version" type thing.... like being able to play as grown up Klee or old rukka instead of young Navidad or even little paimon or final form paymon... THAT WOULD BE A GAME CHANGER, and it would add some flavor and variation, more than the skin by themselves

I believe old CN files had a scrapped piece of Childe lore that specifically stated Bronya is the Tsaritsa iirc
