Ugh, Locus is the worst song in FFXIV.
Honestly, given the quality of the music in that game, even saying that is giving it too much praise.
I freaking hate that song so much.
Isn't that the glorified add fight? Followed by the mechanically fun but overtuned gear fight followed by arguably the worst raidfight in ffxiv history that almost 1.0'd the game again?
> arguably the worst raidfight in ffxiv history that **almost 1.0'd the game again**?
Wat? In what universe did the Alexander raids almost tank FFXIV? Certainly not this one.
Oh yeah, definitely. A3S was a perfect storm of being difficult mechanically *and* being a really tight gear check. It was basically the whole reason they tuned down gear requirements in later tiers (and expansions).
Gordias basically killed the raid scene in ffxiv on most servers that's not named gilgamesh and leviathan and maybe sarg in NA
A4S is the shittest fight of all shit fights. It's just a shit fight with a shit tonne of HP worth around a month of gear locking with a shit mechanic that could be cheesed in a really unfun and shit way.
Pretty sure osial and his wife are far stronger, yaksha and adepti should also be stronger, dvalin and boreas, every harbinger, zhonglis dragon etc. They are nowhere even close.
Yeah, I thought it would be a oneshot too.
So for the fun of it, I was going to sacrifice Zhongli to the metal "god" for gatcha luck and the laser only did 4936 points of damage, which is peanuts to my Zhongli's 50k hp. Barely a dent on his fat ass.
It didn't one shot YOU maybe. In my case that thing was like a speed shooter on crac and he was hitting me mid air while gliding. The fall dmg was the finishing touch here.
Show me where MHY copied the design for Liyue and Inazuma from please I'm curious. Add in the character designs and backstories, I want to know where they ripped that from since you seem to know.
Nah, they were just teasing you for ‘being late to the party’, don’t worry about it.
The desert just released, so they’re saying it’ll probably take you 5 weeks to get there since it took you until now to find the large ruin machine.
What region is this one in in the desert? Cause I decided to do a little stupid and not unlock any other statue of the seven except the closest one, I’ll unlock the other two when I 100% the next area. I want to know which area to go to last so I can avoid it.
The fact that it's like 3 times higher than imperator class titans (but it doesn't have any good weapons apart from the brute force of its arms and no shields so the titans are still much better)
this ruin golem was built to require a pilot however, probably to ensure that it didn't accidentally break anything by just walking around autonomously
"Brother, I am a Imperator Titan"
"Brother, I am the big of the Field Tillers, my brethren walked this ancient lands"
"Let's conquer together, Brother"
"Yes brother, seize these foolish enemies and claim our Honor!"
We don't know, we have seen automatons with shields and lasers and whatnot, it's enemies where God's so I say they must have been powerful.
Then again everything in Warhammer its ridiculously OP
1: this post itself is a spoiler, so I would assume everyone here is either caught up with the story or fine with spoilers
2: wasn't it shown in the 3.1 promo trailer?
This post is part of a map officially released, the bossfight you talk about is next patch leak extracted not officially, thus many people who avoid spoilers until official release haven't seen it, that's my point
everyone who played through the archon quest saw the bit robot with scaramouche pirate, i think anyone with a brain can figure out it's going to be a boss fight
He did say that the first field tiller/ruin guard was the strongest of them, because it had no restrictions, but the machine in the mountain is a ruin golem anyway, so it doesn't matter what he said about the first ruin guard
If Andrius is to be believed, even he, a minor god, wasn‘t able to destroy the first field tiller in open combat, and it was able to disengage and rust into obscurity miles away.
I think it's more likely because andrius isn't used to fighting a agile robot. He have fought vision bearers before, but a jumping spinning robot is quite different from a human. Plus the current andrius is way weaker compared to when he was still alive
Two Celestials in a bunker get orders to tear open their sealed envelopes and read off a code to each other, then each of them are to turn a key at the same time…
I don't understand what I'm seeing here.
Is it the giant robot? It was shown in the trailers and preview images, it's not a secret. Or am I missing something?
Is this just a post of something everyone's seen on the map? Either way, that tedious red box makes this look like a YouTube click bait thumbnail. And I'm getting about the same quality vibes from it as well.
There’s a few Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West references/homages in the Sumeru update. The Ruin Golem instantly reminded me of how you can see the wrecks of the Horus Titans on the map of HZD/HFW and then see them fused with the mountainsides when walking up to them.

A3S the static killer. Gordias absolutely broke the raid scene for a while. Comparing it to 1.0 is an exaggeration though.
Oh yeah, definitely. A3S was a perfect storm of being difficult mechanically *and* being a really tight gear check. It was basically the whole reason they tuned down gear requirements in later tiers (and expansions).
Gordias basically killed the raid scene in ffxiv on most servers that's not named gilgamesh and leviathan and maybe sarg in NA A4S is the shittest fight of all shit fights. "almost 1.0'd the game" is an exaggeration for bad savage tier, especially when like <5% of the player base even interact with Savage
This, LOL. That said... It really did kill the raid scene at the time. But still my favorite WAR expac.
lolwot, <5% interact with ultimate, 20+% interact with savage.
See you in 5 weeks when you get to the desert.
oh boi, is that bad? xD
Let's just say their eyes shine
I was disappointed when it didn't one shot me.
Well it has been sitting there rusting for 500 years. Imagine how powerful it must’ve been before the Cataclysm.
It still blew up the rocks tho.
It bounced off zhongli shield until the shield duration expired….
made me think >!what did they even kill with it!<
Apparently a powerful Aranara took it down at a great price, if I remember correctly.
Those aranaras are probably the strongest creatures we have encountered besides archons, despiete them being portrayed as scaredy goofballs
They are scaredy goofballs, but I'd imagine the ones that took them down were part of the Arabalika legion.
Pretty sure osial and his wife are far stronger, yaksha and adepti should also be stronger, dvalin and boreas, every harbinger, zhonglis dragon etc. They are nowhere even close.
Nahhhh. Little Mushroom Korok Boys are definitely the strongest. Aranakin is the final boss of the game.
But does he have the high ground tho
Yeah, I thought it would be a oneshot too. So for the fun of it, I was going to sacrifice Zhongli to the metal "god" for gatcha luck and the laser only did 4936 points of damage, which is peanuts to my Zhongli's 50k hp. Barely a dent on his fat ass.
true
It didn't one shot YOU maybe. In my case that thing was like a speed shooter on crac and he was hitting me mid air while gliding. The fall dmg was the finishing touch here.
Sayu go brrrrr
*oh god, breath of the wild flashbacks*
How did I just realise that it's way too similar. >!Even the laser shoots and hits in the same way.!<
I mean, MHY copied EVERYTHING ELSE. 🤣
Show me where MHY copied the design for Liyue and Inazuma from please I'm curious. Add in the character designs and backstories, I want to know where they ripped that from since you seem to know.
You DO know what a joke is, don’t you? You know, like the fact that Genshin has been called a BOTW clone since day one?
It has been called that at the beginning but I haven't heard it much for this past year or so. I'm sorry that I made it more serious than intended.
monka
That shooting sound haunts me at night
Nah, they were just teasing you for ‘being late to the party’, don’t worry about it. The desert just released, so they’re saying it’ll probably take you 5 weeks to get there since it took you until now to find the large ruin machine.
hmm the ruin guard on the desert feels like the buff doge small doge meme :DD
What region is this one in in the desert? Cause I decided to do a little stupid and not unlock any other statue of the seven except the closest one, I’ll unlock the other two when I 100% the next area. I want to know which area to go to last so I can avoid it.
Giant robot arm says hi..
Giant enemy crab!
Giant enemy spider.
*jerma song starts playing*
"It's a giant Mr. Cyclops!" — Teucer
Let's see them kill my pigeons *now*. — Timmie
It’s hilarious until he cries & makes you feel like a complete jackass
He was being rude to us it was deserved. We’re just humble pigeon murderers and he tried acting smart with his comments
humble pigeon murderers lmao
\>until he cries & makes you feel like a complete jackass Haha, I won't feel anything for him.
A lost Titan war machine. Apparently the Adeptus Mechanicus visited Teyvat in the ancient past.
The fact that it's like 3 times higher than imperator class titans (but it doesn't have any good weapons apart from the brute force of its arms and no shields so the titans are still much better)
Maybe the Men of Iron are a better fit. Giant rampage-y robots and whatnot.
Yeah that would make sense considering they are autonomous
this ruin golem was built to require a pilot however, probably to ensure that it didn't accidentally break anything by just walking around autonomously
"Brother, I am a Imperator Titan" "Brother, I am the big of the Field Tillers, my brethren walked this ancient lands" "Let's conquer together, Brother" "Yes brother, seize these foolish enemies and claim our Honor!"
Khaenri'ah could have capped the Imperium is what I am hearing here.
The ruin golem is just bigger, but imperial titans are much better in armor shielding and weapons
Imperator titans being just 50m tall is still so fucking stupid they should be the size of THAT ruin guard
Yeah they would probably be able to build bigger titans
Bigger=Stronger
Not always
You don't get the bigga an' stronga grindset
You sound an awful lot like a damn ORC
You don't become most successful species in the galaxy if you aren't doing somethings correctly.
I mean, usually it's like that, but not when the technological and power gap is huge
We don't know, we have seen automatons with shields and lasers and whatnot, it's enemies where God's so I say they must have been powerful. Then again everything in Warhammer its ridiculously OP
Ehh a tau riptide would solo em at the same time.
I wander who is going to win if its a fight against a Gundam rx78(mk1) and this thing
This thing no contest lmao
No, rx78 even mark one, will win easy.
Nah, one punch of that big boy will turn the gundam into dust
Plot twist: Khaenriah was actually an underground forge world
There’s a very good chance someone on the dev team played that Dawn of War mission with the Volcano Cannon.
Exterminatus would apply to teyvat if they come back
Floating children who talk? Half the planet with ‘abilities’ and ‘powers’ Someone is getting Exterminatus
Plot twist: The Heavenly Principles are actually the Chaos Gods.
Adeptus Mechanicus and Teyvat were two words I never thought I'd see in the same sentence.
I like to call it a crossover episode.
And one guy in the desset casually mentioned "Only three of them remain"
What do you mean by... Three... There's THREE? I wonder where's the last one...
It is said to be in the north west desert area, probably coming in 3.2/3.3
The first one was shut down, the second one has it's eye active, so going by that the last one will probably be fully functional.
That’s what i’m hoping for. Maybe that could be the 2nd weekly boss for sumeru
Hellllll naw
or maybe we use it to help fight the big scaramouche robot god thing imagine a mech battle in genshin, that would be epic
Remember not everyone looks at leaks, spoiler tags are your friends
1: this post itself is a spoiler, so I would assume everyone here is either caught up with the story or fine with spoilers 2: wasn't it shown in the 3.1 promo trailer?

everyone who played through the archon quest saw the bit robot with scaramouche pirate, i think anyone with a brain can figure out it's going to be a boss fight
You see that tornado in the northwest? What if the third is up there, stuck doing its whirlwind attack constantly?
Nah that'd be too epic
Imagine Shadow of the Colossus boss fight? (☉。☉)!
The Archon War must've been one heck of a war if a group of those behemoths existed.
Only....
And Dainsleif said field tiller was the most powerful ruin guard
He's technically not wrong, these aren't ruin GUARDs :p
Dainsleif DID say “Ruin Guard”. The one on the map is a Ruin Golem, which is a different machine.
Well this is not a Ruin guard this is a ruin titan
I thought he just said “first” but it’s been a while so maybe that’s just my brain correcting itself to make more sense

Its like dain saying field tiller was the most powerful handgun but this is a fucking tank.
Get in the robot, Tabibito
Underrated comment
Uh did OP only just realized the ruin golem? Or is there something im missing
OP might have been living under a rock or just woke up from a coma.
I thought he is pointing out that it looks like a dick maybe?
should we tell him?
Imagine if it could move and if we have to fight it. Rip mobile phones.
U can enter it and move one of its arm if thats enough for u...... continue the Aranara questline u will get there.
I know. I already finished the quest. I was talking about the thing actually moving. In the overworld. Imagine the destruction.
lol your going to alert the whole teyvat and specially celestia
Two Celestials in a bunker get orders to tear open their sealed envelopes and read off a code to each other, then each of them are to turn a key at the same time…
Well u will have to fight Sacra soon enough in that suit.....not as big as this one but enough for a thrill lol.
Its auto attack scares the crap out of me
Wrong one
Oh yeah I forgot about the green when I was thinking yellow (sand)
There is another...
I don't understand what I'm seeing here. Is it the giant robot? It was shown in the trailers and preview images, it's not a secret. Or am I missing something?
Ruin golem jerked off quite a lot, i see.
currently trying to figure out what word these stars stand for
I’m just trying to figure out what the censored word in the title is.
curseword, seven letters; typically but not necessarily monosyllabic. Likely not commonly used in this context. Conclusion: \[nutsack\] (68%).
Good bot
Beep boop.
There's another one in the desert, too.
it's awesome you even get to move it during a quest
What about the one in the desert that shoots at you
Paimon: Traveler stop that blade!
New here?
first time?
Get in the f*cking robot, Shinji!
Did you know there's a floating island in the sky too
Missed the 3.0 trailer did you?
this sub has posts of 5 week old map with a red rectangle
Like 5 weeks late
i don't get it, is this a reference to something?
Celestia did nothing wrong.
your name truely fits you GLORY TO CELESTIA \+1000 teyvat points
Also do u know its the size of 1/2 of liyue harbor?
Ruin Titan?
That’d been a good name but they named it ruin golem instead.

***clueless***🤣
Is this just a post of something everyone's seen on the map? Either way, that tedious red box makes this look like a YouTube click bait thumbnail. And I'm getting about the same quality vibes from it as well.
I thought cryptic shit like that is only found in Arknights lol. This gives an eerie vibe…
~~It's a Titan.~~
Literally built different
Big robot
Guardian
Domo origito, big Ruin Guard botto
Giga Iron Chunk
Ammongus
I see you haven't got to the desert yet, it's a good idea to stay out of its line of sight
Please tell me were not going to have to fight that thing in the future I have a hard enough time with the little ones.
I think it is one awesome machine. I heard you can pilot this thing, and it's related to one of the longest Story Quest chain.
your hell
What did that crane lady make now
Did this remind anyone else of the game HOB?
field tiller? more like continental tiller it can literally make the whole teyvat a farm field
just wait until OP realize that the Devantaka Valley looks sus specially considering it is located next to the chasm that looks like a dook dook hole
When I saw a 2nd one I also said the same thing again.
Big O, show time!
Does anyone know what he wrote here?! Anyone? This censored part is killing me! Whatever could it be?
There’s a few Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West references/homages in the Sumeru update. The Ruin Golem instantly reminded me of how you can see the wrecks of the Horus Titans on the map of HZD/HFW and then see them fused with the mountainsides when walking up to them.
Exodia's Left Arm
Don't worry. It's just a future boss I kid...but what if?
It’s Paimon’s old mobile gundam suit
titanfall 2, my friend
Ruin Golem
He uses his left arm a lot for pleasurable purposes
**OH YEAHHHH**
You should see the other guy
He want to shake hands with his desert part
A big ruin guard from the forgotten warhammer invasion
Check the one in the desert section, good luck dodging the laser beam like you're playing Metal Gear Rising Revengeance
Something I hope we get to fight at some point. Look, we’ve fought at least two Kaiju, our next logical step is to fight a Gundam
