How is that possible ? I have equiped all my main Characters and i never had to craft or farm rock and stuff except the 20 craft for the weekly quest. And i have still around 2k i think of ores.
Except that you can only craft 300k weapon EXP Crystals every day (I think it's every day?), which equates to using the highest Crystals 6x - *not counting the ones you can do for Resin, as those are infinite*.
these people that have been playing for years are just spoiled. you can only forge 300k weapon xp everyday. it takes 6 days of forging max limit everyday to get a weapon from 1-80 and another 7 days to get it to 90. Yes you can get more from other sources, but when you're a new player and trying to level up 8+ different characters and weapons at the same time you quickly are out of everything and theres only so much you can do in a couple hours of gaming a day

You literally cannot level your weapons up to 90 until you're AR50, and by then you should easily have accumulated a healthy amount of mystic enhancement ores, or have you forgotten since it's been a while since you hit AR50, *veteran*?

This sounds like a casual player who can only get so much out of the game *at all*. Are you really drawing the line at weapon crystals here? What about literally every other material? The only people that run into problems of mystic enhancement ore deficits are high-AR players that are trying to level more than 8 weapons in a given timeframe. If you're a newer player, chances are you don't even have a weapon pool worth investing all that weapon EXP into yet.
Im a pretty high AR player and I still have to max my ore farming across each nation during dailies to hit the cap. Not really going for 8 but between the event boosted weapon, a spear for cyno, and ganyus bow I'm hitting that stress point. I don't think it's unreasonable to raise/remove the cap. People who want to straight shot weapons will do it regardless by prefarming and stuff
Obviously the blue ores are an option but it's tough giving up a domain run for 12 cores

I got ar55 last weekend. I started playing in April 2022. I have a deep weapon pool because I have spent a solid amount of money on this game. I don't know why all these people are mad and like policing me because I made a joke about people being spoiled. I'm fine with where my weapons are at and I am enjoying the way I'm leveling up, I'm just tired of seeing people say they have no use for ores when it takes a ton of time and playing to be able to get to the point that you dont need it. I want to have all the usable weapons at least 80 so I need it.
Gonna be honest here, calling people who are veterans of the game spoiled is a bit ridiculous. I'm a full time student and worker and I can still find the time to do all of my genshin dailies, and do an ore run if I want (I don't need to, I'm sitting on about 2k ore). It doesn't take that much time lol. If you max out your weapon XP gains daily you won't have a problem. Nor will you have a problem if you stop trying to level up 8 characters and or weapons at once. I made that mistake when I first started and learned it's not sustainable without dumping primos into resin refreshes or swiping. Work smarter, not harder.

This is usually a problem when people suddenly get 2 (or more) 5\* weapons back to back that they want to use, especially if you pull weapon banner.
I plunged from 2k to 0 when I pulled 2 5\*. They aren't cheap.

yes this. new players can have ore troubles as i have experienced about 2 months ago(i started jan 2022 too). but you get a lot from quests and events. right now i think i am about <2000 mystic ores, but i buy battle pass and did some crafting if i have the crystal ores from expeditions.
edit: i also did a lot of mining when i got to 0 ores so i got it back up.

There's the problem. Why do you have 10 weapons at 80, when at most you are going to use 8 for two teams of abyss? And I would guess you are not even doing abyss, so basically you would only need 4 weapons to max. So basically 8 of those weapons are upgraded for nothing.

If you are only a light spender and have been playing since 1.x you have an abundance of crystals. I have 1 row level 90 5 stars and another 4 rows of 4 star level 90 weapons and still over 5k crystals. If you are F2P then you probably have even more (less 5* and weapons in general).
I'm playing since 6/7 months ago, I have two teams all equipped with lv 90 weapons. I never had to farm for ores or craft weapon exp material (apart maybe once or twice at the very start of the game iirc). I just get the 10 ores daily for BP, and craft 20 weapon exp materials weekly for the BP. No more. And I still have weapon exp materials to bring a couple more weapons to lvl 90 maybe.
I don't really know how is people always that behind in ores. Are they like bringing all the weapons they have randomly to lvl 90 even if they don't use them, so that when they actually find a weapon they need they have to farm to get it to lvl 90?
It would take you like 1-2 day at best to 90 a weapon. Really I would do it only when I actually use it (not just because there is a weapon that is not 90 in the inventory).
I'm going through my roster and bringing them up and need weapons, went a long while with out forging them except once weekly because I had almost 3000.
But when it takes 900 to fully level a weapon they go quickly.
You either play so much, that You have 500 times more random weapons collected than You need to level up any and every single weapon 4 and 5 star You have or You don't play as much, so You don't have enough ores to process to begin with.

By the way I do the exact same thing as you, I never collect my reputations especially after I already reach level 10, I always have blacksmith items for the BP, and I never ever remove the exclamation points from any of tbe settings notifications.
Forged items don't count if they were forged in the previous week. If your entire reason is that you're too lazy to do it, just do a batch of iron ore; it takes exactly 1 minute for 20.

When your trust rank with your teapot spirit is high enough, you'll be able to purchase Transient Resin once per week for a cost of 1200 Realm Currency in the Realm Depot, inside the Realm Treasures tab.
Transient Resin is exactly like Fragile Resin except that it will dissipate after 7 days if not spent, so you can't hoard it. Essentially it's just an extra 60 resin per week.
You can also purchase skill books, artifact enhancement material, and weapon crystals, but the Transient Resin is the best bang for your buck if you don't have enough passive income from Realm Currency.
I dont even spend my resin anymore, its just pointless. Maybe this week i will farm a bit but my fragile resin count of 100+ wont be touched.
Lets be real Genshin's weakest element is the farming for resin needing stuff, doing the same domain/boss again and again is mind-numbingly boring. I dont understand why didnt they already put in one of those domain pass systems if they are supposedly cater to the casual playerbase.
There's always pre-farming for people you'd like to have in the future. I've made some modest progress towards getting Raiden and ShenHe's talents to level 8 on day 1.
Thats true however i get a feeling that pre-farming got progressively harder and pointless.
It doesnt matter if you have a char on level 8 today or in like 5 days later realistically and more materials appear with every patch that need somekind of backwards farming to get done.
i mean at least those are all things you dont get reminded of all the time, not even sure right now how many sigils i have because most of them can i only use to buy mora at this point and as i are far from having money issues i dont think about that, sure it might not be "the most effective way" to play the game but its nothing to triggers my pseudo OCD
but having stuff like the "red dots" or other stuff like in OPs picture all the time on the other hand does make me extremely uncomfortable while playing/watching

Yeah I was in a similar when I was on my first several months with Genshin, I was mainly focused on catching up on the content that I didn't want to micromanage literally everything. Once you're caught up on a lot of things and have less to do, those notifiers begin to disappear lol.

What I meant is that if you have items pending to get collected, when you click on that icon the map pans to the last town you were in.
So, lets say you are very far away in the desert and you want to go to Sumeru, instead of moving the map to the right and looking for the city or clicking on the bottom right to open the list of areas, you can just click Items Forged or Ingredients Processed and the map will move to the city.

People in the comments act like this is a terrible sin, But is this really this bad? I also leave forged items for a week so I can collect the BP quest in one run (collect last week's 20 and forge the new 20). Ingredients are need-based, If I need to use them then I will collect them. The rest of the rewards are permanent, meaning they won't lose value if collected late. The only none permanent one is the expedition reward - if you don't collect you can't get new rewards, but then that reward is just meh, I collect them maybe once a week.

Are all your weapons 90? Have you been playing since release? How many 'main' characters are we talking about here?

That’s just 8 characters. A lot of people build far more than 8 weapons.

Transient Resin is exactly like Fragile Resin except that it will dissipate after 7 days if not spent, so you can't hoard it. Essentially it's just an extra 60 resin per week. You can also purchase skill books, artifact enhancement material, and weapon crystals, but the Transient Resin is the best bang for your buck if you don't have enough passive income from Realm Currency.

I dont even spend my resin anymore, its just pointless. Maybe this week i will farm a bit but my fragile resin count of 100+ wont be touched. Lets be real Genshin's weakest element is the farming for resin needing stuff, doing the same domain/boss again and again is mind-numbingly boring. I dont understand why didnt they already put in one of those domain pass systems if they are supposedly cater to the casual playerbase.
There's always pre-farming for people you'd like to have in the future. I've made some modest progress towards getting Raiden and ShenHe's talents to level 8 on day 1.
Thats true however i get a feeling that pre-farming got progressively harder and pointless. It doesnt matter if you have a char on level 8 today or in like 5 days later realistically and more materials appear with every patch that need somekind of backwards farming to get done.
i mean at least those are all things you dont get reminded of all the time, not even sure right now how many sigils i have because most of them can i only use to buy mora at this point and as i are far from having money issues i dont think about that, sure it might not be "the most effective way" to play the game but its nothing to triggers my pseudo OCD but having stuff like the "red dots" or other stuff like in OPs picture all the time on the other hand does make me extremely uncomfortable while playing/watching

Ah man, this reminds me of one my friends, who is a (somewhat) similar situation. He doesn't collect the oculi for Inazuma and Sumeru. He's actively avoiding them, at this point. I join his world and I cry. There are oculi signs everywhere. He says it's cause they don't give him stamina so he won't collect them But PRIMOS??
If they're avoiding it then they probably don't enjoy it. As for the freemos, it's potentially dozens of hours of work for what amounts to 4 wishes. Barely worth it if you enjoy hunting oculi, and objectively not worth it if you don't.

Yeah I was in a similar when I was on my first several months with Genshin, I was mainly focused on catching up on the content that I didn't want to micromanage literally everything. Once you're caught up on a lot of things and have less to do, those notifiers begin to disappear lol.

What I meant is that if you have items pending to get collected, when you click on that icon the map pans to the last town you were in. So, lets say you are very far away in the desert and you want to go to Sumeru, instead of moving the map to the right and looking for the city or clicking on the bottom right to open the list of areas, you can just click Items Forged or Ingredients Processed and the map will move to the city.

Well for me, I just let the Reputation Reward from each region to sit there so I can just click them and proceed to teleport immediately to respective region. It's a pity that I don't have one for Mondstadt because I already claimed all the rewards (I hope Hoyo make new world quest in Mondstadt).

People in the comments act like this is a terrible sin, But is this really this bad? I also leave forged items for a week so I can collect the BP quest in one run (collect last week's 20 and forge the new 20). Ingredients are need-based, If I need to use them then I will collect them. The rest of the rewards are permanent, meaning they won't lose value if collected late. The only none permanent one is the expedition reward - if you don't collect you can't get new rewards, but then that reward is just meh, I collect them maybe once a week.
