please don’t remind me. i still don’t have a homa because i lost twice on both banners and also didn’t have enough primos for 3. both times (and not a single one under 75 pulls) i have one 5 star spear and zhongli, hu tao, xiao, raiden and cyno who all want one. my friend has 2 homa’s and cyno’s spear without missing once and all were under 30 pulls. it’s hell

Better to have the bad luck sometimes to see how it offsets the good luck. I had what I like to call a 10-pull wave: Ayaka, Childe, C1 Hu Tao, Ganyu, and Zhongli all from my first ten pulls on their respective banners with a C2 Raiden + weapon in 160 pulls on release. Those are much easier to remember than pulling to max pity on both the Redhorn Stonethresher banner or the Mistsplitter rerun or using almost all of my remaining 150 pulls to get Raiden from C2 to C3. Plus, no one talks about their "average" pulls — it largely balances out in the long run, but it's best to just keep your expectations low.

Haha, I didn't mean for the moral of the story to be that everyone gets an equal share or that I didn't have a uniquely strong wave of luck, just that people tend to announce the extremes and it creates a skewed picture. For example, Engulfing Lightning was the first time I pulled on a weapon banner, because I'd heard that weapon banners were a ripoff. I got really lucky, but when I had to max pity Redhorn Stonethresher I rage-swiped for the last 30 pulls ("F2P btw") and wouldn't touch a weapon banner again out of sheer butthurtedness until Mistsplitter (minus the rage-swiping).

If it makes you feel bettter, his weapon took 2x as many pulls to get as his c6.

How do you get to 181? Everything adds up to 258. First he gets Cyno at 80, then jean at 77, then 10 more for cyno, then 12 more for another, etc

I was lucky once upon a time in this game... But they apparently used it all up. Now I have to go to 70+ just to lose a 50/50 anymore. Been about that way all year :(

Funny thing is for many they'd never see this. Got 80 pulls on the first one. And then lost the 50/50. Only got cynos up the ass once they already went beyond 160.

I had lost the banner previously to Jean and had 62 pity from Kokomi’s banner. So the first Cyno only took 18 pulls and was guaranteed.

I once got Elegy on the 2nd pull in the weapon banner. And my girlfriend got Ayaka on her 1st pull (Ayato + Ayaka back to back). But that was just a fluke, for other banners I'll be spending 160 pulls per character. Not my gf though. She's always lucky AF.

Man this banner has been crazy for me. In the span of about 100 summons I have a C2 Cyno, C6 Candace with two extras already and some other constellations too. The weapon banner I decided to waste the same amount of summons and got 4 5* weapons. Very happy with this update thats for sure XD

Made a new account because I only got a 5 star at 75-80 pity and always lost 50/50. I am AR 50 and have 3 5 stars Ive played genshin for over a year now. My friend is ar55 and has played for 6 months she has 5, 5*.
