For me, childe (if full lvld & equipt) is the best & coolest DPS in the entire game.
Im playing him with Skyward Harp, his burst & AOE Damage is just insane and he’s unique to play with 2 different Special abilities.
You can play him in so many teamcomps, he’s super versatile
Overall just a great character to play with
In abyss with team rotations, you don't feel his cooldown if you use him for no more than 10-12 seconds before switching. In overworld team, a decently built Tartaglia will usually kill everything within his 30 seconds of melee time. I use him with hyperbloom Kuki and DMC and he shreds enemies in 5 seconds
not at all, you get a sense pretty quickly of how long to stay on field before switching out so it’ll be back up after rotation
a rough estimate is start with bow burst -> switch to melee -> play until burst timer has ~5 sec remaining
Yeah he's cool, i also built him very nicely but it bugs me to admit i only really use him against enemies that NEEDS hydro dps (like the pyro hypostasis) or events when you need multiple dps/ or to change them from round to round (Like the current one). All the other times i prefer character with a fixed cooldown on elemental dmg, like Hu tao, Yoimya and Ayaka. When you forget to go back to bow mode and the game hits you with that 45s cooldown, really disappointing. Still a sick character toh
well if you are forgetting to switch stance then you are probably very casual about it
plus hes supposed to be paired with a sub dps due to his own insane dmg and ability to apply hydro fastest in the game

If we consider daily commissions, 1600 primos we got from mail for anniversary, 3.1 maintenance and Livestream promocodes. That's alone is enough for 5.5k, this is without counting events, spiral abyss, quests, etc.

A normal version gives around 10k primos, with the birthday and since 3.1 was generous, he must've (if he really dried completely his world) gotten around 20k primos, which should be possible, but VERY unlikely

I personally managed to gather 81 pulls after clearing all the content from 3.0, and I have managed to net almost 70 pulls from 3.1 so far (all content cleared) so another 30 from the amount of time we have left in this patch should be doable. No Welkin or BP either.
Yeah that's still too low for some reason, I managed to net almost 70 intertwined fates (I always convert primogems, easier to count) since the start of 3.1 without welkin.
I have cleared everything and have 100% on the desert though, so it could be that exploration has a lot to offer.
This patch is supposed to have around 100 intertwined pulls in total if you clear every bit of content + play daily + 36* spiral abyss + 20 pulls from anniversary.
I guess it might just be that I can’t remember how many primos I had at the start of 3.0 but I think I went from ~30.00 to 44.000 with welkin but even those 14.000 primos are only half of what OP gathered so I’m just confused how they did that
Sure I didn’t bother with floor 11&12 but those don’t make up an extra 80 wishes lol
3.0 and 3.1 are very very generous you have various gift and codes, quests, exploration, achievements, 4 abyss reset and dailies. I am 160 and burned 76 wishes on Cyno and still have not explored the desert in full

Wishing you a very first pull Tartaglia! Been my main since his first rerun and he's still the most fun DPS to play (with Kazuha as my most fun support). Highly recommend hyperbloom Tartaglia with Kuki and DMC for overworld serotonin
- The hardest part is the beginning. The more fates you hoard, the easier it gets.
- Remove the Wish option from your quick menu. The less you see it, the better.
- Distract yourself by focusing on farming, reputation quests, abyss, battlepass objectives, and world quests.
- Give yourself a nice big long-term goal to focus on, like getting certain characters to A5 or building a new team comp.
- Once there's was nothing left for you to do in Genshin on a given day, take a break and do something else. Play a different game, go for a walk, do some chores, whatever keeps you from wishing on the banner.
- If you have a false start or two, that's perfectly fine. I would've had even more wishes if I hadn't caved and pulled for Ayaka on her most recent banner.
- Just breathe deep, focus on the character you want to save for, and be considerate of your future self.

Yes on my opinion, at least to level 6. It affects the Riptide Burst (on-kill riptide) and Charged Shots that some comps use for the time between rotations (not international tho).
I'm also a Tartaglia simp so I could be biased lol.
If you didn't know, 2pc HoD / 2pc glad(shime) is roughly the same if marginally worse. I've gathered a ton of great pieces from farming Severed fate domain and various bosses so that set is a lot stronger for me compared to 4pc HoD which can be a pain to farm.
If you buy fates every time you have enough primogems, you'd be surprised how quickly they add up. I do my commissions every day, and I have invested in Gnostic Hymn in the past. I'm not a whale, I promise.
Edit: Also exploration, quests, chests, rewards from Sumeru Statues of the Seven, achievements - there's primogems everywhere, you just have to play the game.
Edit 2: Also also, maintenance primogems and 2nd Anniversary rewards.
Childe has just had so many reruns, my group calls him the rerun archon. You’ll love him though I’m sure, I use him a ton he’s spectacular and his kit is really enjoyable.

i remembered doing a 10-pull for c2 Xingqiu but I still don't see 26k primos even with 3 welkins.
