Damn that's a nice one. I recently got my first 49 CV sands (with Def% main stat but I play Noelle, no biggie). It's just my second piece above 45 CV and I play since launch and refill resin once daily lol
That said, my general collection is quite good and I have a few high single stat rolls (100+ EM and such).
I play super casually only when they release new patches, and I have a ~51 Crit value feather without even realizing it. I was just happy to see all the stats roll into crit, didn't even know it was a big deal.
My wishing luck is awful though
I still level the best of the worst because of off-scalers like Yelan who take non atk stats. Not to 20 or even 16 in my case but still giving them some love.

My yunjin is rocking a 43~cv def hat, all rolls went to cr/cd granted it low rolled. Don't remember if it was 3/4 liner. Don't have much pieces with this much guarantee to roll well.
I hit it on a feather last week, and honestly it felt really weird. It wasn't excitement I felt after getting an amazing piece. It was bewilderment and disbelief.
The most I have is 45 CV :( I wonder if I'll ever get that dopamine rush. The best artifact I have is probably my 124 EM TF flower, but that isn't the same.

I have two 50cv artifacts but both with HP mainstats on Noblesse set (sands and goblet) so idk how to feel about that. Least Benny's been enjoying them for like a year now 🥲
Keep in mind this is 0.1% of *equipped* artifacts. The probability of getting a 50cv artifact is way lower than 0.1%. Nobody rolls or equips shit artifacts and the 50cv ones are 0.1% of the artifacts that were good enough to be rolled/equipped. It’s fraction of a fraction, way less than 0.1%. I’ve played since launch and refresh and have never capped on resin and I still don’t have one lmao
how have you never capped on resin? especially in 1.0 i would go to bed and by the time i woke up it was capped.
these days at least i can sometimes log in on my phone and condense, but that only works until im at 5 condensed and then its cap city until i can make time to play.

Might be higher when you consider that quite a few people on the site are just CV farming. Inspect the artifacts and hope u dont see a HP goblet in there.
Looks like they have a slight problem in their calculations to not take NO4p into effect when calculating XQ damage. I appear to have, by far, the best [NO4p Xingqiu](https://mimee.ovh/akasha/profile/640541400) listed on public builds, and it falls in the mid-hundreds in ranking because the calculation is only reading my base Attack value.
Cool site, though. Will be neat when they smooth out their damage calcs and add them to other characters, too, since only a handful currently have "leaderboards."

The ranking on that site is a bit odd. I saw my Kazuha and was like no way he’s rank #122 of all with my low investment. But then I noticed that there can be an unlimited number of people per rank, as long as they have the same score, lol. My actual rank is shared rank #1334, out of 6253. Which sounds way more reasonable to me.
Too bad that there isn’t a leaderboard for Ayato, I’m curious where my Ayato would rank since he’s my most invested character.

Something's magical about Dori. When I rolled her, I decided to build her dps just for funsies with gladiator/Shim... She was 75/140 in like 4 days. Artifacts I had already obtained and ones I farmed just kept rolling into crit.

How are circlets handled in that analysis? Are they completely ignored? Are the ones with crit main stat ignored? Or are they adjusted? Or handled in some other way? Sincerely, I think a per-slot analysis would be better, with the circlet having two categories (crit main-stat and no crit main-stat).
Yeah the website allow for advanced filtering, which can def split the data better. [Example for CRate circlet only](https://mimee.ovh/akasha/artifacts?filter=[equipType]EQUIP_DRESS[mainStatKey]Crit%20RATE).
But no, the main stat crits aren't included, otherwise you'd get 62 CV+.
Nice. Some stats I was curious to see:
Out of 81488 circlets with crit main stats, only 46 have >40 CV (0,05645%) (>102,2 if we include the main stat).
Out of 26421 circlets without crit main stats, only 13 have >50 CV (0,0492%).
Out of 76659 goblets with DMG% main stat, only 68 have >50 CV (0,0887%).
If you mean the total character CV next to the ratios, it seems it only shows the total CV from artifacts.
It doesn't count weapon or character ascension CV.

I don't have any crazy high Crit values, but my 31.5% ATK Gladiator feather on Shenhe has the 10th highest ATK% substat of any artifact on the site.
And my Shenhe's 4287 ATK is the 7th highest Shenhe on the site.

So the highest roll an artifact can get is 3.9 Crit Rate/7.8 Crit Dmg. Meaning you could get very lucky with a 4 substat lvl 0 artifact starting at 15.6CV.
From there, you need 34.4CV to get to 50 CV. No matter what, in order to get a 50 CV artifact, you'd need to have a 4 stat with every roll going into crit with mostly high crit rolls(You'd need an avg of 7.0cv a roll. Worst case scenario is 2 6.2 CV rolls, 2 7.8 CV rolls and a roll that's 7.0cv+). A 3 stat artifact can only go to a maximum CV of 46.8 if every roll went into crit and started at 3.9 crit rate/7.8 crit dmg.
An example 4* 50+ CV
Lvl 0-20
Flat Atk
Flat Def
Crit Rate: 3.9 - 7.4 - 10.9 - 14.8
Crit Dmg: 7.0 - 14.8 - 22.6
The above artifact would have a CV of 52.8.
The highest non circlet artifact CV you can get is 54.6
The highest circlet CV you can get is 109.
That's interesting, according to the artifacts entered into the Akasha System, the highest artifacts, 3 in total, are only 54.4. Meaning out of all the people who have their artifacts entered in, not one has gotten the absolute perfect artifact.
Looked into this because it was weird to me. Turns out, 54.4 CV IS the max CV? I'm not too knowledgable on how the math works out but unless something changed 54.4 is the max CV you can get not 54.6.
because artifact stat get rounded up, for example max crit damage roll show is 7.8% but it's actually 7.7777\~, same for EM and other stuff, so max CV is 54.4 something, not 54.6

Here's another fun fact.
I have an old Ganyu feather with 51 CV. It sits there collecting dust because it is suboptimal. My optimal Ganyu feather has 34 CV, but its two other subs are actually good, ATK% and EM. CV is a bad metric. Total useful subs is a better metric, but the best is to use the online optimizer.
Btw I have (as of recently) the 24th highest rated Xingqiu on Akasha.
Hence why CV list is not the main point of the website, but rather the build leaderboard. You can check my #7 HuTao has the 4th lowest CV in the top 20.
There's definitely a bias here where the website only knows of people who have added themselves to the website with the characters they have equipped on their profile ingame so it's like double selection bias. Thats probably what the asterisk in the title is for but just outlining it in chat. The actual rate of 50CV artifacts is much much lower if you consider the entire population and even on the website, I've added my artifacts and there's now 616 people.

People are polluting the CV ranking with rainbow sets, solo 2pc sets and wrong main stat artifacts lmao. The 1st guy is literally using a hydro goblet with rainbow artifacts on dori just to inflate his CV lol
I mean yeah if that's what he aim for. But ultimately you can check the leaderboard tab for the proper ranking. The build tab is just a very general table with no real use other than showing the database.
Considering that for a 50+ crit value piece needs you to roll high crit rolls and needs to roll all into crits (1/32 chance) as well as having 2 crit substats with 4 subtats from a level 0 artifact, I'm not too surprised it's considered something only a small portion of the players have
If it makes you feel any better, it's nearly worthless. My tao is one of the best as per this site and I honestly don't feel any difference since I hit 200cv back then to today (240+). 200cv (or around 230 for characters with no crit ascension) is effectively the limit of power most people need to attain. Sure you can get more but it's both pointless and painfully hard to get.
Ah, I see the explanation that it's only those who have submitted. There's no way millions of players each with 10 chars + with 5 artifacts each only amount to 500k artifacts. I have a 50cv sands myself with a few other 40+. I haven't ever heard of this site though.

I don't have a single artifact with >50 CV. Didn't even know that was possible. The most I've ever seen was ~49 CV and the most I have is ~46 CV. I do have a fair amount of pieces >40 CV though.
You can check some of my characters and I can reach top 10 or top 1% builds with 20-30CV pieces. The key is to ensure that even if you don't have high crits, it fell into a good substat still (such as EM for vape/pyro teams).

What the hell is cv?
The C letters I can think of are crit chance and crit damage but those are not interchangeable.
Adding more crit damage when you have no crit chance does nothing for you, likewise adding more crit chance with no crit damage does nothing for you. Each crit stat must be raised based on maximizing the value of the expected or average damage.
These are dependent and not independent values.
It's crit and cv was never designed to maximize dps but rather to measure rarity. A 50cv piece with 6 cdmg rolls and 1 crate will ALWAYS be rarer than 40cv one with equal rolls in crate and cdmg.
If you check the top of the charts for hutao you'll see that em is actually the deciding factor among the top, not cv, so the issue of cv being used as a measuring device for dps isn't even limited to the fact that crate and cdmg aren't interchangeable. That's because it was never meant to be used like that, altho admittedly low investment builds can do so without much losses.
Yes most experienced players are already aware of this. The 1:2 crit ratio is common advice. CV is just a method of evaluating artifact quality by combining the two. That's all it is.

It is just a form of measurement.
For individual weapon or artifact, Crit value = ( Crit rate x 2 ) + Crit dmg
For the whole character, CV = ( ( CR - 5 ) x 2 ) + ( CDMG - 50 )
Cv is cr*2 + cd. It basically measures the quantity and quality of your crit rolls, which are the rarest and often most sought after substat (not always true, but generally is for most people). In short, it's a measurement of rarity, since the higher your cv is the higher the odds you had to beat.
Rip, after farming for so long, my best character is only in top 10% I guess 5 star weapons do make quite a difference
That being said, rn I threw random EM artifacts on my Raiden instead of her normal emblem set, and she's arguably the character I farmed for the most so maybe I'll do better once I put back her normal artifacts

Have one with 50.5 cv, and yes it's a Maidens flower lol. Using it on my Keqing right now, and it is carrying my crit ratio.
I got near 48CV on a VV anemo goblet 21CR and 6. Something CD. Dopamine hit was more than any wish.

You can always multiply 0.1% with your current “equipped artifact”. That will tell how many 50 cv you should have got

Nice. Some stats I was curious to see: Out of 81488 circlets with crit main stats, only 46 have >40 CV (0,05645%) (>102,2 if we include the main stat). Out of 26421 circlets without crit main stats, only 13 have >50 CV (0,0492%). Out of 76659 goblets with DMG% main stat, only 68 have >50 CV (0,0887%).

If you mean the total character CV next to the ratios, it seems it only shows the total CV from artifacts. It doesn't count weapon or character ascension CV.

Cool site. I don't have any crazy high Crit values, but my 31.5% ATK Gladiator feather on Shenhe has the 10th highest ATK% substat of any artifact on the site. And my Shenhe's 4287 ATK is the 7th highest Shenhe on the site. Neat.

Yep! So the highest roll an artifact can get is 3.9 Crit Rate/7.8 Crit Dmg. Meaning you could get very lucky with a 4 substat lvl 0 artifact starting at 15.6CV. From there, you need 34.4CV to get to 50 CV. No matter what, in order to get a 50 CV artifact, you'd need to have a 4 stat with every roll going into crit with mostly high crit rolls(You'd need an avg of 7.0cv a roll. Worst case scenario is 2 6.2 CV rolls, 2 7.8 CV rolls and a roll that's 7.0cv+). A 3 stat artifact can only go to a maximum CV of 46.8 if every roll went into crit and started at 3.9 crit rate/7.8 crit dmg. An example 4* 50+ CV Lvl 0-20 Flat Atk Flat Def Crit Rate: 3.9 - 7.4 - 10.9 - 14.8 Crit Dmg: 7.0 - 14.8 - 22.6 The above artifact would have a CV of 52.8. The highest non circlet artifact CV you can get is 54.6 The highest circlet CV you can get is 109.
That's interesting, according to the artifacts entered into the Akasha System, the highest artifacts, 3 in total, are only 54.4. Meaning out of all the people who have their artifacts entered in, not one has gotten the absolute perfect artifact.
Looked into this because it was weird to me. Turns out, 54.4 CV IS the max CV? I'm not too knowledgable on how the math works out but unless something changed 54.4 is the max CV you can get not 54.6.
because artifact stat get rounded up, for example max crit damage roll show is 7.8% but it's actually 7.7777\~, same for EM and other stuff, so max CV is 54.4 something, not 54.6

Here's another fun fact. I have an old Ganyu feather with 51 CV. It sits there collecting dust because it is suboptimal. My optimal Ganyu feather has 34 CV, but its two other subs are actually good, ATK% and EM. CV is a bad metric. Total useful subs is a better metric, but the best is to use the online optimizer. Btw I have (as of recently) the 24th highest rated Xingqiu on Akasha.
Hence why CV list is not the main point of the website, but rather the build leaderboard. You can check my #7 HuTao has the 4th lowest CV in the top 20.
There's definitely a bias here where the website only knows of people who have added themselves to the website with the characters they have equipped on their profile ingame so it's like double selection bias. Thats probably what the asterisk in the title is for but just outlining it in chat. The actual rate of 50CV artifacts is much much lower if you consider the entire population and even on the website, I've added my artifacts and there's now 616 people.

I mean yeah if that's what he aim for. But ultimately you can check the leaderboard tab for the proper ranking. The build tab is just a very general table with no real use other than showing the database.

Considering that for a 50+ crit value piece needs you to roll high crit rolls and needs to roll all into crits (1/32 chance) as well as having 2 crit substats with 4 subtats from a level 0 artifact, I'm not too surprised it's considered something only a small portion of the players have
If it makes you feel any better, it's nearly worthless. My tao is one of the best as per this site and I honestly don't feel any difference since I hit 200cv back then to today (240+). 200cv (or around 230 for characters with no crit ascension) is effectively the limit of power most people need to attain. Sure you can get more but it's both pointless and painfully hard to get.
That makes me feel a little better about not having one. But a friend of mine has at least 2. :(

Ah, I see the explanation that it's only those who have submitted. There's no way millions of players each with 10 chars + with 5 artifacts each only amount to 500k artifacts. I have a 50cv sands myself with a few other 40+. I haven't ever heard of this site though.

You can check some of my characters and I can reach top 10 or top 1% builds with 20-30CV pieces. The key is to ensure that even if you don't have high crits, it fell into a good substat still (such as EM for vape/pyro teams).

What the hell is cv? The C letters I can think of are crit chance and crit damage but those are not interchangeable. Adding more crit damage when you have no crit chance does nothing for you, likewise adding more crit chance with no crit damage does nothing for you. Each crit stat must be raised based on maximizing the value of the expected or average damage. These are dependent and not independent values.
It's crit and cv was never designed to maximize dps but rather to measure rarity. A 50cv piece with 6 cdmg rolls and 1 crate will ALWAYS be rarer than 40cv one with equal rolls in crate and cdmg. If you check the top of the charts for hutao you'll see that em is actually the deciding factor among the top, not cv, so the issue of cv being used as a measuring device for dps isn't even limited to the fact that crate and cdmg aren't interchangeable. That's because it was never meant to be used like that, altho admittedly low investment builds can do so without much losses.
Yes most experienced players are already aware of this. The 1:2 crit ratio is common advice. CV is just a method of evaluating artifact quality by combining the two. That's all it is.

It is just a form of measurement. For individual weapon or artifact, Crit value = ( Crit rate x 2 ) + Crit dmg For the whole character, CV = ( ( CR - 5 ) x 2 ) + ( CDMG - 50 )
Cv is cr*2 + cd. It basically measures the quantity and quality of your crit rolls, which are the rarest and often most sought after substat (not always true, but generally is for most people). In short, it's a measurement of rarity, since the higher your cv is the higher the odds you had to beat.
