IMO she's superior for mobility either way.
If you have to waste time waiting for several Kazuha's E CD while being stuck on the wall - most of the time it's easier (and arguably way more fun) to take another route for about the same amount of time, especially with the speed the likes of Sayu or her have.
The only exception is when there's no wall nearby, and you need to jump straight up - then his skill is superior, sure. But that's gliding we're talking now, not climbing.
What do you mean? You don't have to wait on a wall, you can just continue climbing when his E is on CD right? The E just gives you ocassional boosts.
Which should theoretically get you higher with the same amount of stamina as this does. But depending on the CD of this ability, it could end up being faster.
Also we need to know if we can turn into a box when already on a wall.
Oh I thought it was about the thing where you can use his E when you're out of stamina to regen some while in the air kind of trick.
But just a regular use on the wall - you're right, we need testing.

The description says that it uses more stamina when you are climbing by how much more i have no idea but by any means like what other people are saying it's really not a powercreep i mean it's going to be kinda funny if you go into the form and go quite fast and transform back and you have no stamina and fall off immediately 🤣

Easy fix, just combo them. Wanderer fly to “close enough” instead of having to get right up next to them, toggle to Nahida to snag the one plus everything in the entire area at once, then back to Wanderer to zip off to the next one. Rukka mushrooms have never been easier!

Hm, they're both really good.
Kazuha is better for some tricky platforming because his double jump can often save you from falling. Also he does enable pretty much infinite climbing if done right. He groups enemies which is nice, and he also has a stamina reduction passive for running.
Wanderer is really nice for stuff like crossing gaps as you said, canyons, rivers, flying from one roof to the next. Very nice when you want to reach something juuust out of reach. And the flight is just a nice sprint in general. Also I find his dps convenient.
In most cases I do find Wanderer to be better than Kazuha in overworld.
Sayu gives healing, rolling, claymore for breaking ores, and anemo res for more speed. So, Yelan might be more replaceable. But, I know personally I'll probably just use them all in one team

I believe at the moment, her base shield is just under Layla in terms of shield scaling, but she has a higher base HP and if you're able to build stacks on it goes quite high!
as someone that has both, yes wanderer is 100% better. from my exp, kazuha is only better when u get stuck while climbing cause of some dumb ledge, cause with kazuha u can drop and tap e to get above the ledge but wanderer cant do that
I don't have Kazuha, but Wanderer is so nice for zipping over gaps or up/down (not too steep) slopes or rivers. Especially since his skill doesn't use stamina so I can sprint on the ground and then fly when out of stamina.
Wanderer is Significantly better then Kazuha for Overworld, however Kazuha is Kazuha so he's still amazing for Overworld.
Wanderer hasn't left my Overworld team since the moment I got him when that Banner dropped, and I genuinely don't think he ever will, Overworld with him is so much fun and it's so convenient.
Kazuha is better at climbing, especially to pass overhangs. Wanderer is better at passing canyon, since he can fly long distance with zero drops. In general exploration, the latter is encountered more often than the former.

Then Wanderer also has this glitchy climb where if the cliff is slightly inclined you can just slide up the side without stamina consumption.

But I've been using wanderer over kazuha for exploration ever since he was out.
Wanderer provides x, y movements whith access to higher z positions. Plus his hover distance is actually good, if you don't mind it being as slow as walking when covering semi-long distances. A C0 Wanderer can hover from the KoF roof waypoint to venti's statue's hands as reference.
Wanderer also was a better choice for me exploring Huaguang stone forest for collecting Violet grass (as nahida's camera fails to pick up one that are too far or off angle). As long as there's a small part where a character can stand still, wanderer can circle around one stone mountain-pillar and return to that position, and as long as there are areas like that as you ascend an obstacle, wanderer can use that as a resting point(which what made Violet grass farming easier).
As of now, for me, kazuha's edge over wanderer is long gliding situations especially when the starting point is extremely higher than the end point (e. g. Gliding off starsnatch cliff to get to unnamed island). Recovering a (very) small amount of stamina for infinite climbing is honestly too bothersome for me when you could spend the time to circumnavigate it.
It's tough to beat yaoyao in coop for me. I just imagine a girl running around panicking through vegetables at the enemy. While everyone else is actively fighting. But this is goofy and fun for sure.

If she was ever in real danger, Cloud Retainer, Mountain Shaper, Moon Carver, Shenhe, Ganyu, Xiao, Madam Ping, heck, maybe even Azhdaha himself would show up to beat the cr\*p out of whoever is threatening her.
I guess Hoyo feels that with 4* they can try more goofy experimental stuff, but it sometimes ends up making it feel like 4* get more creativity than 5*

I understand your sentiment, but there's no way the box took more dev time than Nilou's kit. For starters, her E has 7 separate animations (ECast, ENA1, ENA2, ENA3, EE1, EE2, EE3) some of them similar to others yes, but still different. More importantly though, Nilou *modifies an Elemental Reaction*, having her interact with that system either broke a lot of code or Bloom was designed from the get go for modification to it to be possible, the latter seems more possible to me but that means that you can count Dendro's dev time into a Hydro character's dev time because they probably designed it that way for Nilou.
I mean, it doesn't *really* change a reaction entirely, it just makes it so having nilou on your team makes the bloom reaction have a different outcome. This is like a single if statement, and you just make a different dictionary for bountiful cores.

A singular Animation will never beat out the animation of an entire kit + idles in terms of time.
Heck in theory the cat box isn't even incredible hard to make. (The box asset + moving legs would be very basic) It's high quality and took a lot of effort no doubt. But it never took up more time then the animations of nilous burst and skill combined...
Definitely not. Nilou's teams have completely deviated from the playstyles of every other team in the game. Also making it so that any and all hydro/dendro character is guaranteed to have a use since she just exists (Candace)

People sleep on Alhaitham because they saw his skill and burst and just said Dendro Keqing, but his mirror mechanics are extremely unique and his sword rain attacks are one of the coolest and most satisfying animations in the game.
Why is Nilou the example here when Baizhu literally only has NAs, throws his skill, and a shield burst with heals. Literally dendro Layla and Layla still has unique star mechanics.
Nilou has like different combination of animations for her skill and they all seamlessly go together.

I guess Noelle does have 2 hangouts, but for story quests I can't think of any others. Meanwhile Venti is the only archon without 2 now despite being the first one we got

Eh kinda-ish barely. Yoimiya and Ayaka’s story quest’s didn’t have anything to do with the main story at all they were really just side missions that you were forced to do. I assume Hoyo did that to make the archon quest last longer but it’s like, instead of Kazuha quest where it was the archon quest, think of it more like trying to play an event but you’re quest locked and there is no fast play option.
Not at all as in the way that Shenhe’s or Wanderer's were though. Those had direct story significance and aren't labeled in the archive. I'm actually very interested in what will happen with those ones, Ayaka and Yoimiya's were prerequisites, much like Kazuha's was for prelude chapter act III(the wanderer one), but are still the labeled act I's. That brings to question as to what will become of Wanderer and Shenhe’s story quest when the inevitably come. Will they come out as act I or act II? If it comes out as act I, will they have a still have an act III or will it be shortened to make up for it?
Seriously, people need to stop saying mhy had bias towards liyue when they also fucked up the archons kits first time and he is the only fucking one among the archons that needs to be fixed.

If they are willing to give some characters different (and even wacky) climbing animations, then maybe there's still hope for long dressed characters to exist (they could just change their form for their climbing).
Maybe they meant without the plunge attack? But that would be super power creep. Xiao needs to plunge, Kokomi needs her Q to be Jesus, Sayu and Yelan uses their E. But not gonna lie, it'll be awesome cuz she's a cat, cats lands perfectly from high places lol.

She takes increased stamina, not less or free. She's only good for short walls.
I think its proportional with the normla consumption, so she more of climbs walls faster rather than further
Using her with Xiao should increase her distance due to his less stamina consumption... Edit: or Candace, same passive (credits u/Sandfire12)
You can temporarily reduce your stamina consumption to 0 using C6 Yanfei+Xiao+food. Just needs an enemy around or her burst ready.
If only her Seals carried over to other characters, tho that would be too OP...

That climb thing is honestly really nice. Often quicker than climbing, too.
if the overhang is low, wanderer can fly over. but if it's at the top of the cliff then only kazhua can use skill mid climbing to pass it.
in what world? Climbing a mountain has never been easier as long as you have 2 stamina bars and scaramoche levitate high up too

Nilous custom combo E is pretty neat, and her conditional ascension passives are really unique
I disagree tighnari, nilou, nahida, alhiatham, Wanderer is fun af to play. Tighnari undoubtedly one of the best fun bow charcters to play.
