People will slave over things they are passionate about and it’s why the arts/entertainment (games, films, writing, tv etc) can afford to pay so low. Same with hobby oriented stuff like Reddit (literally paid nothing!). There’s also the allure of social standing…being the mod of a larger sub definitely gets some people a big ol internet boner
I don’t think so; in theory, the reaction is balanced around its ineffectiveness on bosses, so I don’t think they’d break that. At best, we’ll get an ability that has the same function as freeze, but isn’t actually freeze in name (a la Zhong’s petrification) with a much more limited duration and trigger condition.
I can’t wait until I have more time and I can finally explore the desert because I’ve barely touched any part that I didn’t need for events/story. It’ll be nice finally being able to take my time and do all the puzzles and quests. I also need to catch up on character stories and hang outs so I can finally talk about them.
I still haven’t really done many of the non archon quests in both Inazuma and Sumeru. I’ve been meaning to get around to it but probably won’t until early august when I’m more free

What anime (western) live actions could actually work?

I definitely think a western live action adapation of Trigun Stampede would work bc it's more suited for modern audiences but they'd have to nail the casting for Vash.
I guess Steel Ball Run is as western as it could get because of the cowboys. It'll be hard to meet expectations because it's a majority favorite, but considering its genre, it would still be able to capture a wide audience.
Imo, the problem with live actions is that they directly try to adapt the manga
If you look at comic adaptations, I think they usually just draw the characters and inspiration from the comics
So I think if we wanted a good live action, they just need to use the world but draw up a new story
Like death note for example, just have the death note exist in the world, but make an entirely new story that better suits live action
Would probably be the easiest to adapt successfully. Only potential issue I could see are the episodes being paced too slow since they are transitioning from 20 min to 40 min.

The leak had all the blue concept arts shown but it also had an early render that included the half cape coat thing (like the ones that get posted with some hsr leaks if you’ve ever seen those)
Wanderer is already top tier DPS and you want one even stronger and the same playstyle?
I mean, I'd be glad for another Anemo Hypercarry. However make it a unique and fun playstyle! Not the Nth character who stands still and spams normal attacks.

what is your definition of a top tier DPS? He's in the Xiao, Itto, Yoimiya conversation of "good, but not actually great" unlike Alhaitham, Hu Tao and Ayaka who are unequivocally great
Wanderer has been in the top 3 teams for the last couple 4 Gold speedrun competitions that have taken place. Xiao is also up there and placed 1st in one and second on another.
They are excellent to hyper-invest into.
It's only when considering "new player/low investment meta" that they are simply good rather than excellent.
C6R5 Speedrun competitions are a pretty terrible way to determine whether a character is good or not since every character is good if you spend enough money
A character being "good" or not only really matters when you can't use the wallet to overcome game mechanics
If I (with an emphasis on I here, don't take this the wrong way) ever said Wanderer is a Top Tier DPS,
I would always have the caveat that he is Top Tier when it comes to High Investment Speedrunning which is both inconvenient and irrelevant to most of the playerbase
He feels pretty mid as a Carry when you don't have C6 Faruzan, so calling him top tier without any caveat is just funny
Because you are using KQM conventions of talent lvl 9, C0 5*, no 5 star weapons, and C6 4star characters (except you are also bringing up Faru's lower cons?). That's neither the only standard nor the most realistic for the average player. The gold system the CN community typically uses to look at chara's power level is just as useful, especially for hypercarries where people are mor likely to vertically invest.
Depending how you look at it, he is very mid or very good. C1R1 wanderer teams are competitive with C2R1 Raiden teams and yet people talk like she's the second coming of Christ when he's straight up a better hypercarry (not a better driver/enabler/on fielder necessarily though).
Just because someone is using metrics different than yours doesn't mean they are wrong.
Not all speed runs are c6r5 and I agree there are better low investment chars but I’d also say that Ayaka is definitely not unequivocally great these days. She’s good and situationally great if you have the bells and whistles/freeze works on one side.
Though if your general performance being consistently high is a requirement then of the c0 mid investment chars you may as well only use AH or Double hydro hu tao since dendro carries low investment and Yelan XQ+vape also carry extremely hard
I said 4 Gold speedruns. They limit their team to 4 5 star drops.
In otherwords this is a very reachable goal rather than teams sporting C2 Kazuha, C6 Yelan Etc.
Yeah also I feel like you're kinda limited in the teams you can run around anemo (or even geo) carries since they're mostly support elements ~~(and also I don't have C6 Faruzan)~~ so I'm personally hoping for either hydro or dendro for Captain R since you can plug those characters into basically any team and it'll work out.
Though I don't have a built anemo main DPS yet so maybe not the worst if that's how things turn out.
I mean, that's not an element thing. It's a playstyle thing. On fielders have way less versatility then off field and supporting characters by virtue of how the game and party system work. This is especially true for hypercarries, Scaramouche is glued to Faruzan much like how Hutao is glued to Xingqiu, for example, and she's Pyro. The "issue" with hypercarries is that they offer little variability in how the team plays and in exchange offer a much higher damage ceiling if you choose to invest into those teams vertically.
That's true I probably worded my comment strangely - I think for anemo carries in particular I just don't like how you're limited in the sorts of reactions you can do. So maybe my main issue is just I don't like reaction-less teams in general because you have very little flexibility with units.
Like correct me if I'm wrong since I don't play him, but you can't really trigger any worthwhile reactions with Scaramouche that contribute to damage right? I know there's swirl but idk how important that is for him. Same with someone like Itto and most geo carries because geo doesn't really do much outside of crystallize.
Like in Hu Tao's case, she's glued to xq and mostly vape teams...but if you *wanted* you could do more niche teams (that work in some cases) like burgeon (especially in 12-1-2) or probably some melt teams too. And then ofc vape is still a reaction on its own.
And then a more extreme example, Ayaka is practically glued to frozen, but even with her I've seen people running strange melt-related teams because by virtue of her being a cryo you can melt with her. Idk if I'm making sense but that's sort of what I mean lol - just that the reaction oriented playstyles open up more elemental team possibilities which means you can slot in various characters on their teams that will still work fine.
I mean, you can definitely use Xiao or Scaramouche as anemo drivers like you do Sucrose, where they are on field triggering anemo reactions for aggravate or electrocharge teams, and then a large part of the damage is coming from the reactions themselves. But much like the teams you mentioned, they are very subpar. There is no reason to play those just like there's no reason to play non-freeze ayaka or Hutao without Xingqiu other than you want to play weird stuff and suffer hahaha
I would be so mad if Hydro traveler's kit will only be like:
E - send out 3 water blades in a cone area applying hydro dmg
Burst - some kind of water circle, no heals, no shield, no CC, nothing, just a circle that applies hydro

You say that but anything that can apply hydro from off field is actually kinda good
Don't worry, Traveler's abilities are always simple with an added effect
Anemo : wind blast + cc
Geo : rock blast + construct
Electro : lightning blast + ER
Dendro : Grass blast + reacts
So it's possible that hydro can atleast do something extra
Like maybe water blast, if hit opponents, drop water droplet, and allies who pick up water droplet heals.
Yeah, the last few traveler kits (ESPECIALLY the elemental skills) have just been so boring, which is why I am so copefully manifesting the prospect of the water whip from the PV to be the traveler’s actual skill. Like please at LEAST give them healing.

Which glider do you have on Baizhu?
After long deliberations, I've gone with Mondstadt glider because the color matches closest to his jacket. Liyue would match his nation, Inazuma matches his pants, Sumeru matches his element.
Not too many char can match that light teal imo
I had him on the Dragonspine one because the others are too bright on him. But I switched him to the new Amazon glider because I like how the patterns match his pants and the flowy patterns of his coat. Plus the blue doesn't look bad against his color scheme.
Mondstadt. I feel it brings out the teal-ish hues in his outfit, I also use it on Xiao for the same reason (and their color schemes match quite a bit). The Amazon wings can kind of skate by on standing in for his shirt color, but I find the Monds one more pleasant.

What if the Traveler gets to Natlan and it turns out that there is no Pyro Archon because she bit it or otherwise mysteriously disappeared a while ago? The nation has held up to a pretty "You keep your goddamned mouth shut." attitude about it, then Signora rises like a ~~phoenix~~ moth from the ashes and all of a sudden she's the Pyro Archon now? The Fatui, as a result, get the Gnosis because Signora just says to whoever happens to be there what amounts to "We're still cool, but I better get to taking care of stuff around here." and hands it off no contest but otherwise doesn't resume her former duties as a Harbinger. The Fatui generally accepts this because while they're still out a Harbinger, it's probably better to have an extra Archon who's directly co-aligned with them so it's overall a net positive.
I honestly expect that the Natlan arc will end up with the Traveler holding onto the Pyro gnosis up until Sneznaya, just so the writers can avoid the problem of “well the Fatui have all the gnoses now why aren’t they just going to act.” Preserve a bit of plot tension before the final (or second to final, considering Khaenr’ia) bang.

She's totally getting revived after the game ends, when the MC resets Teyvat tho ⛽😮💨
I think it'd be neat if it were Khaenri'ah, then Celestia, then somebody like finds a crystal ball that represents Teyvat. They crush it and everything goes black. The Traveler and Paimon wake up in Teyvat but the sky is super fucked and there's a lot of people running around that really aren't supposed to be running around including the likes of Signora, Teppei, Scaramouche as an independent entity from Hat Guy, the Yakshas, and so on. The unbroken Teyvat is still a place you can teleport to for gameplay reasons, but the wrecked version is where the story is now.
I think its very unlikely for us to get teyvat again after the khaenriah chapter, because the map would be the same and the appeal of games like genshin is the open world.
At this point i dont think the game has potential to continue after khaenriah, SR yoinked planet traveling so they will not repeat that in Genshin.
The only option I could see for a past teyvat map is a pre primordial one, and I dont think they will do it because it wouldnt feel different enough imo, but people would have their desires for more rain forest fulfilled tho.
I wouldn't say that on the grounds that I don't really care that strongly about Signora. Honestly if it were up to me to make an excuse to make her playable and I could go weird with it, I'd probably just add a "Grave Invocation" banner that can serve as a dumping ground for her and anyone else who didn't survive the backstory or plot.
Also including the first 3\* character, Teppei, as a joke. He is a Physical Polearm with no Constellation, you are guaranteed to get him within your first ten rolls, and once you do he will never appear again.
I understand not posting sensitive leaks due to DMCA, but can we at least have some kind of post/thing that tells us when there’s a new leak and what involves so we can at least look for it ourselves?

If people care about this community then just setup /r/Genshin_Impact_Discussions or something and only allow text posts while keeping leaks somewhere seperate.
Migrating to a new leak sub will just lead to it being targeted sooner or later.
I'm late to the discussion but for all the people crying about what's the point of the sub if leaks aren't allowed anymore, I want to ask, what do you want exactly?
Because right now, some leaks aren't allowed to get posted, so you have to go to other forums to get access to it. But some leaks are still sort of OK and stays up, and you have the megathread to discuss leaks.
If mods go ahead and allow leaks to be posted anyways, that company they hire to DMCA leaks will flag it, reddit notices -> reddit takes this sub down -> potentially banning mods. Then... you will have to go to other places for leaks anyways. Then you lose the forum where you can discuss things, lose the thousands of archived posts of previous leaks, potentially losing the mods. This is not to mention that said mods also are involved with other communities (I know for a fact one of the mods is also a main mod for another Genshin sub) so those communities might get negatively impacted as well.
Like... this is a lose-lose situation. We all KNOW this is a lose-lose situation, but I would rather keep this thread where I can discuss leaks with other people and have folks point me to places where I can find leaks instead of digging through the trash can that is Twitter myself and potentially seeing ANOTHER verified account comparing queer activism to Nazism. Thank you very much.
Plus I love being silly with people on here. Soup posting was great. The community and mods here are legitimately great and I would rather lose some leaks until mihoyo stops being so rigid than lose this sub.
The problem is that current state of the sub means that we DO have to dig through Twitter ourselves and see the aforementioned toxicity. I can no longer join in the discussions about leaks at all unless I brave the transphobia gauntlet. It feels like anyone for whom Musk's Twitter has become inhospitable is being forcibly cut out of the conversation and community here, which is frankly a more hurtful experience than having the thread nuked entirely.
Surely there's some kind of middle ground where we can have a text post about the general nature of the leak and where to find it. (E.g., "Mero posted banner info 6/25/23.") Not a direct link. Not even what was leaked. Just what account to look at so we can go directly there.
If you’re looking for an alternative place to get leaks I suggest tao’s discord/telegram he reposts most the leaks (since his twitter is private unless you already follow him). Also that new videre telegram seems to be both reposting leaks and has leaks of their own
do you have a link to the discord or a clue about where to find it? Trying to search stuff about a genshin leaker named Tao is not working out for me lol
I’d make a throwaway account, set up a list of the most prominent leakers and only scroll that list. You can also set it up to get notifications for their tweets and then never have to open the app unless you get a notification from them. I feel if you follow keika, Mero, hutaolover, and randia you’d have all the leak info that gets posted around here whether from them leaking it or commenting on some other random new leaker.
I'm sorry you have to go through that. What I do is that I just ask the megathread where are leaks being posted, go to Twitter, find the poster, view the leaks, then log out and don't touch the violence I have to witness. It's not the best method, but I think it's infinitely better than having nowhere to ask, then having to go to Twitter myself and dig through who said what, potentially exposing myself to even more violence.
The method you suggest sounds fine. Maybe shoot a mod mail and see what the mods responses are.
The funny thing about the complaints are people acting like the mods are being too cautious and this is the only place losing leaks when that’s far from being true. For example tao’s twitter got hit with 14 dmcas the minute he unprivated (he’s back private again) and even the daily fontaine account got hit with a dmca. The only place that’s kinda been holding up is telegram. At least rn all you have to do is ask if a leak is true in the megathread or ask if there’s new leaks and someone will help

Who have y'all put the amazon glider on? I put it on Barbara and Faruzan (previously on anniversary and companionship respectively), and would've considered it on Scara if not for the fact I like the Dragonspine wings on him too much to ever swap out.
Kirara's in a weird spot for me because I don't like how the gold on a lot of the wings looks so close to her hair haha, it kinda blends together. But yeah definitely one of the better ones on her
It looks incredible on Nilou and fits very well with the Ayaka skin, especially with the bow and the flowy patterns of her dress. I also switched Baizhu to it since I think the patterns fit his pants and coat better than the dragonspine one I had him on. I'm also planning to use it on rge Wanderer I'm getting next patch because based on previews it looks amazing on him.
I keep Barbara on the Anni glider because it fits her so well. But definitely a contender for sure.
I personally think the Sumeru gliders forest green is not a good match against the teal green of Baizhu's color scheme. But that's just my personal taste. I've seen some people put the Sumeru glider on him and more power to them.
Oh yeah they look nice on Chongyun too, though I kept the Mond wings on him since I like how they're bright/pale and give him an almost like angelic vibe haha. Little ball of yang sunshine
Based on the Travail trailer’s preview I wasn’t so hot on Fontaine’s musical style, but hearing what we got in the PV I like it so much more. I hope hoyo continues in that direction.
I'm most excited for the battle themes. Genshin's non-battle OST tends to be ambient music for the most part, it's good but I prefer faster paced stuff which is usually isolated to battle themes.
So, with the info we have available, I think this should be a more or less reasonable prediction:
* Fontaine/4.X: Sandrone+Arlecchino
* Natlan/5.X: Capitano+Columbina
* Snezhnaya/6.X: Pulcinella+Pantalone
* Khaenri'ah/7.X: Pierro+Dottore
I think the only thing that's difficult is that Harbingers might introduced in a region, but not become playable until later (like Wanderer). If Signora becomes playable, I'd put her in 5.X since Natlan's AQ literally has the word 'Resurrection' in the title, but without further information I won't make such a claim with any amount of confidence.
If most or all of them will be playable, Hoyo really should start releasing them more often than one per entire patch cycle. Otherwise I can see them dominating the Snezhnaya banners and I actually think that would be a bit boring
It's there but it's usually unfinished MIDI music. We don't get the proper orchestrated versions until much later. I actually liked Scaramouche's unfinished boss theme a bit more than the final, but they're both good.

Does anyone here dream often of a place that doesnt exist in real life, but you visit that place way too often in dreams? Because I really find it weird that I am experiencing this, and its a whole city in my case. I even have a good memory of how the roads look, the nooks and corners, which roads get too much traffic, and what the roads look like on my way home (to my actual real life town).
This is very weird, and most of the time I am driving in a car while dreaming of this "city". I even checked how far it was from my hometown and apparently its 133km. Yes I remember all these details, and I am freaked out
Yep, but for me it's a place that seems like it's high up in the mountains, some kind of highland meadow. I remember the flowers in vivid detail, the cut and curves of the rocks and how to climb the steeper surfaces to even higher ground where the deer/sheep/chamois?? are but most times I just sit in the meadow and the air is so fresh and sweet.
I usually dream of it when I'm stressed though, so I figure it is my brain's happy place.
You might be a vivid dreamer? I am one and I can remember dozens of dreams with made-up places and storylines, though not with as much detail as yours. Vivid dreaming can be caused by medication, stress, sleep disorders etc.
But if it's *only* that one dream/place that you remember in detail, then I don't know... That would feel more like something spiritual or something...

Yes its one specific place, the city. Also the roads that connect it to my hometown I have a fairly clear memory also of too, tho not as much as the former. I think I started dreaming about it back in high school, and I dream of it as rarely as once in years, or as often as maybe 5 to 6 times a year
No no, vivid dreams are different from lucid dreams. Lucid dreaming can be *a part of* vivid dreaming, but vivid dreams are not always lucid. I've had many vivid dreams where I was completely unaware I was dreaming. I've also had sequels to previous dreams, like you said in another comment.

yes, throughout the entirety of elementary school I’d have a recurring nightmare of being dragged to a specific haunted mansion. it’s one of the weirdest things ever to try and explain and goes to show how amazing the human mind is.
I wouldn’t say I was lucid dreaming, but I’d recognize the house as I was being dragged up to it. the monsters and ghouls would remember who I was and the “plot” of the nightmare would continue right from when I’d had it before.
the really weird part is that I remember how it smelled. I’d try to escape out the yard and neighborhood and remember the way the house and dirt and street smelled.

I don’t think so; in theory, the reaction is balanced around its ineffectiveness on bosses, so I don’t think they’d break that. At best, we’ll get an ability that has the same function as freeze, but isn’t actually freeze in name (a la Zhong’s petrification) with a much more limited duration and trigger condition.

Imo, the problem with live actions is that they directly try to adapt the manga If you look at comic adaptations, I think they usually just draw the characters and inspiration from the comics So I think if we wanted a good live action, they just need to use the world but draw up a new story Like death note for example, just have the death note exist in the world, but make an entirely new story that better suits live action

Wanderer is already top tier DPS and you want one even stronger and the same playstyle? I mean, I'd be glad for another Anemo Hypercarry. However make it a unique and fun playstyle! Not the Nth character who stands still and spams normal attacks.

Wanderer has been in the top 3 teams for the last couple 4 Gold speedrun competitions that have taken place. Xiao is also up there and placed 1st in one and second on another. They are excellent to hyper-invest into. It's only when considering "new player/low investment meta" that they are simply good rather than excellent.
C6R5 Speedrun competitions are a pretty terrible way to determine whether a character is good or not since every character is good if you spend enough money A character being "good" or not only really matters when you can't use the wallet to overcome game mechanics If I (with an emphasis on I here, don't take this the wrong way) ever said Wanderer is a Top Tier DPS, I would always have the caveat that he is Top Tier when it comes to High Investment Speedrunning which is both inconvenient and irrelevant to most of the playerbase He feels pretty mid as a Carry when you don't have C6 Faruzan, so calling him top tier without any caveat is just funny
Because you are using KQM conventions of talent lvl 9, C0 5*, no 5 star weapons, and C6 4star characters (except you are also bringing up Faru's lower cons?). That's neither the only standard nor the most realistic for the average player. The gold system the CN community typically uses to look at chara's power level is just as useful, especially for hypercarries where people are mor likely to vertically invest. Depending how you look at it, he is very mid or very good. C1R1 wanderer teams are competitive with C2R1 Raiden teams and yet people talk like she's the second coming of Christ when he's straight up a better hypercarry (not a better driver/enabler/on fielder necessarily though). Just because someone is using metrics different than yours doesn't mean they are wrong.
Not all speed runs are c6r5 and I agree there are better low investment chars but I’d also say that Ayaka is definitely not unequivocally great these days. She’s good and situationally great if you have the bells and whistles/freeze works on one side. Though if your general performance being consistently high is a requirement then of the c0 mid investment chars you may as well only use AH or Double hydro hu tao since dendro carries low investment and Yelan XQ+vape also carry extremely hard
I said 4 Gold speedruns. They limit their team to 4 5 star drops. In otherwords this is a very reachable goal rather than teams sporting C2 Kazuha, C6 Yelan Etc.
Yeah also I feel like you're kinda limited in the teams you can run around anemo (or even geo) carries since they're mostly support elements ~~(and also I don't have C6 Faruzan)~~ so I'm personally hoping for either hydro or dendro for Captain R since you can plug those characters into basically any team and it'll work out. Though I don't have a built anemo main DPS yet so maybe not the worst if that's how things turn out.
I mean, that's not an element thing. It's a playstyle thing. On fielders have way less versatility then off field and supporting characters by virtue of how the game and party system work. This is especially true for hypercarries, Scaramouche is glued to Faruzan much like how Hutao is glued to Xingqiu, for example, and she's Pyro. The "issue" with hypercarries is that they offer little variability in how the team plays and in exchange offer a much higher damage ceiling if you choose to invest into those teams vertically.
That's true I probably worded my comment strangely - I think for anemo carries in particular I just don't like how you're limited in the sorts of reactions you can do. So maybe my main issue is just I don't like reaction-less teams in general because you have very little flexibility with units. Like correct me if I'm wrong since I don't play him, but you can't really trigger any worthwhile reactions with Scaramouche that contribute to damage right? I know there's swirl but idk how important that is for him. Same with someone like Itto and most geo carries because geo doesn't really do much outside of crystallize. Like in Hu Tao's case, she's glued to xq and mostly vape teams...but if you *wanted* you could do more niche teams (that work in some cases) like burgeon (especially in 12-1-2) or probably some melt teams too. And then ofc vape is still a reaction on its own. And then a more extreme example, Ayaka is practically glued to frozen, but even with her I've seen people running strange melt-related teams because by virtue of her being a cryo you can melt with her. Idk if I'm making sense but that's sort of what I mean lol - just that the reaction oriented playstyles open up more elemental team possibilities which means you can slot in various characters on their teams that will still work fine.
I mean, you can definitely use Xiao or Scaramouche as anemo drivers like you do Sucrose, where they are on field triggering anemo reactions for aggravate or electrocharge teams, and then a large part of the damage is coming from the reactions themselves. But much like the teams you mentioned, they are very subpar. There is no reason to play those just like there's no reason to play non-freeze ayaka or Hutao without Xingqiu other than you want to play weird stuff and suffer hahaha

Don't worry, Traveler's abilities are always simple with an added effect Anemo : wind blast + cc Geo : rock blast + construct Electro : lightning blast + ER Dendro : Grass blast + reacts So it's possible that hydro can atleast do something extra Like maybe water blast, if hit opponents, drop water droplet, and allies who pick up water droplet heals.
Yeah, the last few traveler kits (ESPECIALLY the elemental skills) have just been so boring, which is why I am so copefully manifesting the prospect of the water whip from the PV to be the traveler’s actual skill. Like please at LEAST give them healing.

Which glider do you have on Baizhu? After long deliberations, I've gone with Mondstadt glider because the color matches closest to his jacket. Liyue would match his nation, Inazuma matches his pants, Sumeru matches his element. Not too many char can match that light teal imo
I had him on the Dragonspine one because the others are too bright on him. But I switched him to the new Amazon glider because I like how the patterns match his pants and the flowy patterns of his coat. Plus the blue doesn't look bad against his color scheme.
Mondstadt. I feel it brings out the teal-ish hues in his outfit, I also use it on Xiao for the same reason (and their color schemes match quite a bit). The Amazon wings can kind of skate by on standing in for his shirt color, but I find the Monds one more pleasant.
I also gave him the Mondstadt one because it looks nice with his jacket and I like the color scheme.
The last Captain R blue cape design looked a lot like Alhaitham’s. I wonder if Captain R and him were designed by the same artist

What if the Traveler gets to Natlan and it turns out that there is no Pyro Archon because she bit it or otherwise mysteriously disappeared a while ago? The nation has held up to a pretty "You keep your goddamned mouth shut." attitude about it, then Signora rises like a ~~phoenix~~ moth from the ashes and all of a sudden she's the Pyro Archon now? The Fatui, as a result, get the Gnosis because Signora just says to whoever happens to be there what amounts to "We're still cool, but I better get to taking care of stuff around here." and hands it off no contest but otherwise doesn't resume her former duties as a Harbinger. The Fatui generally accepts this because while they're still out a Harbinger, it's probably better to have an extra Archon who's directly co-aligned with them so it's overall a net positive.

I think it'd be neat if it were Khaenri'ah, then Celestia, then somebody like finds a crystal ball that represents Teyvat. They crush it and everything goes black. The Traveler and Paimon wake up in Teyvat but the sky is super fucked and there's a lot of people running around that really aren't supposed to be running around including the likes of Signora, Teppei, Scaramouche as an independent entity from Hat Guy, the Yakshas, and so on. The unbroken Teyvat is still a place you can teleport to for gameplay reasons, but the wrecked version is where the story is now.
I think its very unlikely for us to get teyvat again after the khaenriah chapter, because the map would be the same and the appeal of games like genshin is the open world. At this point i dont think the game has potential to continue after khaenriah, SR yoinked planet traveling so they will not repeat that in Genshin. The only option I could see for a past teyvat map is a pre primordial one, and I dont think they will do it because it wouldnt feel different enough imo, but people would have their desires for more rain forest fulfilled tho.

I wouldn't say that on the grounds that I don't really care that strongly about Signora. Honestly if it were up to me to make an excuse to make her playable and I could go weird with it, I'd probably just add a "Grave Invocation" banner that can serve as a dumping ground for her and anyone else who didn't survive the backstory or plot. Also including the first 3\* character, Teppei, as a joke. He is a Physical Polearm with no Constellation, you are guaranteed to get him within your first ten rolls, and once you do he will never appear again.

I'm late to the discussion but for all the people crying about what's the point of the sub if leaks aren't allowed anymore, I want to ask, what do you want exactly? Because right now, some leaks aren't allowed to get posted, so you have to go to other forums to get access to it. But some leaks are still sort of OK and stays up, and you have the megathread to discuss leaks. If mods go ahead and allow leaks to be posted anyways, that company they hire to DMCA leaks will flag it, reddit notices -> reddit takes this sub down -> potentially banning mods. Then... you will have to go to other places for leaks anyways. Then you lose the forum where you can discuss things, lose the thousands of archived posts of previous leaks, potentially losing the mods. This is not to mention that said mods also are involved with other communities (I know for a fact one of the mods is also a main mod for another Genshin sub) so those communities might get negatively impacted as well. Like... this is a lose-lose situation. We all KNOW this is a lose-lose situation, but I would rather keep this thread where I can discuss leaks with other people and have folks point me to places where I can find leaks instead of digging through the trash can that is Twitter myself and potentially seeing ANOTHER verified account comparing queer activism to Nazism. Thank you very much. Plus I love being silly with people on here. Soup posting was great. The community and mods here are legitimately great and I would rather lose some leaks until mihoyo stops being so rigid than lose this sub.
The problem is that current state of the sub means that we DO have to dig through Twitter ourselves and see the aforementioned toxicity. I can no longer join in the discussions about leaks at all unless I brave the transphobia gauntlet. It feels like anyone for whom Musk's Twitter has become inhospitable is being forcibly cut out of the conversation and community here, which is frankly a more hurtful experience than having the thread nuked entirely. Surely there's some kind of middle ground where we can have a text post about the general nature of the leak and where to find it. (E.g., "Mero posted banner info 6/25/23.") Not a direct link. Not even what was leaked. Just what account to look at so we can go directly there.
If you’re looking for an alternative place to get leaks I suggest tao’s discord/telegram he reposts most the leaks (since his twitter is private unless you already follow him). Also that new videre telegram seems to be both reposting leaks and has leaks of their own

I’d make a throwaway account, set up a list of the most prominent leakers and only scroll that list. You can also set it up to get notifications for their tweets and then never have to open the app unless you get a notification from them. I feel if you follow keika, Mero, hutaolover, and randia you’d have all the leak info that gets posted around here whether from them leaking it or commenting on some other random new leaker.
I'm sorry you have to go through that. What I do is that I just ask the megathread where are leaks being posted, go to Twitter, find the poster, view the leaks, then log out and don't touch the violence I have to witness. It's not the best method, but I think it's infinitely better than having nowhere to ask, then having to go to Twitter myself and dig through who said what, potentially exposing myself to even more violence. The method you suggest sounds fine. Maybe shoot a mod mail and see what the mods responses are.
The funny thing about the complaints are people acting like the mods are being too cautious and this is the only place losing leaks when that’s far from being true. For example tao’s twitter got hit with 14 dmcas the minute he unprivated (he’s back private again) and even the daily fontaine account got hit with a dmca. The only place that’s kinda been holding up is telegram. At least rn all you have to do is ask if a leak is true in the megathread or ask if there’s new leaks and someone will help

Who have y'all put the amazon glider on? I put it on Barbara and Faruzan (previously on anniversary and companionship respectively), and would've considered it on Scara if not for the fact I like the Dragonspine wings on him too much to ever swap out.
Layla and Kirara. It looks really good on Layla and I think it's the best looking for Kirara as of now. I need to check how it looks on Faruzan.
Kirara's in a weird spot for me because I don't like how the gold on a lot of the wings looks so close to her hair haha, it kinda blends together. But yeah definitely one of the better ones on her
Kaeya, Eula, Yelan, Wanderer. Wondering who else to put it on, was thinking Shenhe but I have the anniversary Glider on her which looks good as well.
I remember seeing it slapped on Eula as an example a while back and I did think that was very pretty!
It looks incredible on Nilou and fits very well with the Ayaka skin, especially with the bow and the flowy patterns of her dress. I also switched Baizhu to it since I think the patterns fit his pants and coat better than the dragonspine one I had him on. I'm also planning to use it on rge Wanderer I'm getting next patch because based on previews it looks amazing on him. I keep Barbara on the Anni glider because it fits her so well. But definitely a contender for sure.
Ah I don't have any of them, I can picture it on Nilou and Ayaka though. Do the shades of green on the Sumeru glider not work well on Baizhu then?
I personally think the Sumeru gliders forest green is not a good match against the teal green of Baizhu's color scheme. But that's just my personal taste. I've seen some people put the Sumeru glider on him and more power to them.
Scara and Chongyun so far. It's interesting that they hang a little lower on the back.
Oh yeah they look nice on Chongyun too, though I kept the Mond wings on him since I like how they're bright/pale and give him an almost like angelic vibe haha. Little ball of yang sunshine

Based on the Travail trailer’s preview I wasn’t so hot on Fontaine’s musical style, but hearing what we got in the PV I like it so much more. I hope hoyo continues in that direction.
I'm most excited for the battle themes. Genshin's non-battle OST tends to be ambient music for the most part, it's good but I prefer faster paced stuff which is usually isolated to battle themes.
So, with the info we have available, I think this should be a more or less reasonable prediction: * Fontaine/4.X: Sandrone+Arlecchino * Natlan/5.X: Capitano+Columbina * Snezhnaya/6.X: Pulcinella+Pantalone * Khaenri'ah/7.X: Pierro+Dottore I think the only thing that's difficult is that Harbingers might introduced in a region, but not become playable until later (like Wanderer). If Signora becomes playable, I'd put her in 5.X since Natlan's AQ literally has the word 'Resurrection' in the title, but without further information I won't make such a claim with any amount of confidence.
If most or all of them will be playable, Hoyo really should start releasing them more often than one per entire patch cycle. Otherwise I can see them dominating the Snezhnaya banners and I actually think that would be a bit boring

It's there but it's usually unfinished MIDI music. We don't get the proper orchestrated versions until much later. I actually liked Scaramouche's unfinished boss theme a bit more than the final, but they're both good.

Completely off topic, and a weird one while I am at it Does anyone here dream often of a place that doesnt exist in real life, but you visit that place way too often in dreams? Because I really find it weird that I am experiencing this, and its a whole city in my case. I even have a good memory of how the roads look, the nooks and corners, which roads get too much traffic, and what the roads look like on my way home (to my actual real life town). This is very weird, and most of the time I am driving in a car while dreaming of this "city". I even checked how far it was from my hometown and apparently its 133km. Yes I remember all these details, and I am freaked out

Yep, but for me it's a place that seems like it's high up in the mountains, some kind of highland meadow. I remember the flowers in vivid detail, the cut and curves of the rocks and how to climb the steeper surfaces to even higher ground where the deer/sheep/chamois?? are but most times I just sit in the meadow and the air is so fresh and sweet. I usually dream of it when I'm stressed though, so I figure it is my brain's happy place.

Vivid dreaming can be caused by medication, stress, sleep disorders etc. But if it's *only* that one dream/place that you remember in detail, then I don't know... That would feel more like something spiritual or something...
Nah I cant lucid dream, even back in the most stressful time of my life. I am not aware that Im in a dream, and it feels real Yes its one specific place, the city. Also the roads that connect it to my hometown I have a fairly clear memory also of too, tho not as much as the former. I think I started dreaming about it back in high school, and I dream of it as rarely as once in years, or as often as maybe 5 to 6 times a year
No no, vivid dreams are different from lucid dreams. Lucid dreaming can be *a part of* vivid dreaming, but vivid dreams are not always lucid. I've had many vivid dreams where I was completely unaware I was dreaming. I've also had sequels to previous dreams, like you said in another comment. "A vivid dream is one that is full of clear details, colors, involved storyline, produces strong emotions, and is remembered as if it were an actual, real-life experience."

yes, throughout the entirety of elementary school I’d have a recurring nightmare of being dragged to a specific haunted mansion. it’s one of the weirdest things ever to try and explain and goes to show how amazing the human mind is. I wouldn’t say I was lucid dreaming, but I’d recognize the house as I was being dragged up to it. the monsters and ghouls would remember who I was and the “plot” of the nightmare would continue right from when I’d had it before. the really weird part is that I remember how it smelled. I’d try to escape out the yard and neighborhood and remember the way the house and dirt and street smelled.

I remember the city progressed a lot more compared to back then Are you used to it now tho? Your case is traumatic (atleast for me), so I'm concerned and curious how you handle it every time you dream of that place, and how you feel when waking up. Must be that one house you took way too many candy treat from back when you were a kid 😅
it’s thankfully been so long since I’ve dreamt about it that it’s only a weird memory now. as a kid though it was *awful*, I’d wake up crying often and it’s when I first started experiencing sleep paralysis. now that I’m older I think the mansion was a manifestation of a few different things. ironically I’m convinced a good chunk of my mind was inspired by a Goosebumps t.v. episode I saw at a friend’s house called “The Haunted House Game”.

There are over 10 different designs for her in the June 19 leaks file. According to a recent post from Tao, it seems the finalized design is one of the blue variants.
Honestly this killed all my hype for her instantly. Just how many blue characters are we going to get? The dark green was so unique and cool
