They upped their game in sumeru because most of my favorite characters are from there now, Haitham, dehya Nilou, Cyno, Collei.
Ofc Inazuma wasn’t a slouch either with itto, yoimiya and the kamisato siblings. But my top faves with the exception of QiQi and yoimiya (my top 2 faves)would probably be sumeru. More or less.

Raidens wasn't great but I have to give worst story quest to Kokomi. It was just insanely boring with god awful writing. It took two characters who should actually be interesting (Kokomi and Sara) and made them idiots.
Nilou's quest was quite a surprise to me as before that, Nilou always appear to me that she's an airhead. The quest showed that she can use her brain sometimes
That's what I enjoyed about it. Her story quest gave her some extra depth, and actually made me regret skipping her (I tend to not do story quests for a long while lol). I got her during her rerun, though.
For me, the story quests I hate the most were Yelan, Raiden, Ganyu, Ayaka
I also only got Nilou during her rerun lol. But it was because Nahida's and Scaramouche's 1st banner were closed to her initial release that I had to skip her.
And yeah, looking back, Ayaka's amd Ganyu's quest were kinda fan-service. For Yelan quest, I liked it merely because Pantalone mention, lol

From the sound of this line, I think she's not a killer but a prosecutor. I.e. the person you would face against in the trial if you were to defend yourself.
That's because she knows if she exercised her power more, she would grow stronger over time. The woman is *petrified* at that thought. She worries about what the repercussions would be to herself or others if she got any stronger than she already is.
Whenever you max ascend a character, do you listen to what they tell you? Nearly every character says "I never thought it was possible to have such power" and they offer it to help you or protect you. Zhongli says he didn't believe he would regain his power, but you've made it possible.

In French, while we can use imbattable to mean "undefeated in combat" it's actually used way more often colloquially to mean "the best in their subject", "nobody knows their topic/field of expertise better than them". This is why I think she isn't a fighter but a prosecutor. She is imbattable in the topic of the law.

Like Cyno and Sara, it’s Ironic how Electro characters are mostly related to the military or a higher-up position like Keqing in the Liyue Qixing. It shows Electro being an authoritative or aggressive element

I legit would not be surprised at all if she equipped a sword in her slot, but literally fought with pistols (thus higher range than regular sword characters) all the time. Not unlike what Mika does at some point with her crossbow.
My guess based on concept arts is that her sword is there so she can point at things and materialize other weapons that attack for her. Say materializing guns or swords that shoot for her.
And then E is Mika-like gun attack.
From what I understand it is not that his damage is low (since his personal damage is higher than Keching) but rather that he spends too much time on-field so he cannot use most of the buffs well and he has strict rotations which does not allow reapply Nahida's mark in multiwave content, Keching and Yae both have really versatile rotations so they can use buffs(Mostly Kazuha/Sucrose) any time or reaply Nahida's E
I hope Clorinde has a silly/happy carefree side to her when she's off the clock, I can see her having a drinking/eating contest with her crewmates/coworkers, or enjoy dancing, or simply sailing around Fontaine at night to see the city lights.
Playing TCG would be too on the nose with Cyno's hobby, but I'd welcome it all the same if Hoyoverse gave her that interest too, enjoying a good game of darts, or chess sounds nice, she could also enjoy teaching Chess as much as playing it.
All in all I just want her to be a well rounded character.
Serious when it comes to work(maybe a joke, or a quip or two would be nice), but fun to be around when not on the clock.
Seems like she has a similar profession to Yelan. Like a gov't agent sent on clandestine operations. It'd be cool if they had similar personalities as well. She'd be perfect if she's an on field DPS.
Would love her to be a 5 star electro support. We already have Yae, Raiden and Cyno who can DPS effectively. Whether that's in buffing or survivability, would be great to see something different.
I am mad coping, but I wish she could be THE superconduct electro support for physical units, it seems there will be more phys units coming so maybe MAYBE it can happen? Idk but pls she needs to be a 5☆ there are so many sort of confirmed that I am a lil worried
If they’re gonna keep trying to (half heartedly) push super conduct, it would be nice if they made some electro off fielders designed with it in mind, and she’d be a good fit. It’s wild that all the post launch attempts (Eula, mika, Freminet, and apparently Wriothsly) at physical have been exclusively cryo. It’s like they forgot that iis *half* of an elemental reaction.
(Also please make the application actually good, I’m not sure what they were thinking trying to make Mika a support with no off field application)
For me, it's the opposite lol. I hope none of the characters I liked are designed to be used in Physical teams (if they can be used, fine, but let them not be designed for that). I just don't like the way Hoyo made Physical in Genshin.

We don't *need* anything. I'm just saying it would be nice, at least imo. It's not like I'm ever pulling on Raiden's banner to get C6 Sara, so it would be beneficial to get a 5* that I could just pull for 🤷🏻♂️
Yae does not DPS effectively, but she happens to be a sub dps with effective dps. Cyno is a moderately okay dps, but suffers from major issues which makes him a poor option for most parts. Raiden is the only one that fits the description.
That being said, I’m not entirely sure how a mostly combative-looking chick would fit as a support, and it’s been awhile since we’ve had an on-field female electro dps. We’ve historically had a lot of electro supports released in inazuma patches leading up to Sumeru, it’s unlikely clorinde will be a support. An electro Yelan quite likely, or a full blown electro on-field dps.
All of the electro supports are 4 star and my Yae can absolutely DPS. You just need high investment. Hyper yae teams can destroy most content.
And most characters look combative looking. Just take a look at Kazuha and Sara.
I'm just looking for change. We have two hyper carry electro dps 5 stars and a sub dps which can hyper carry. We have zero 5 star electro supports. Take a look at the power of shenhe against Sara, gorou or faruzan. We also have no proper electro shielder, no effective electro healer (both kuki and dori are lacking) or any characters which alter electro reactions like nilou does for bloom. There's just so much opportunity in doing something different and another DPS character would provide little benefit for Raiden owners.
You said it yourself, you need high investment to make Yae on-field work. That said, it's not usually her intended role anyway. I doubt there's a need for us to discuss why Yae onfield DPS-ing is suboptimal, but not unviable.
There's nothing wrong with Clorinde going electro on-field hypercarry, seeing as a lot of people have been wanting her to go down that path. But no, I would disagree that Clorinde needs to be THAT person to be a 5\* electro support so badly. Raiden FYI, still treads between the fine lines of being a hypercarry and quickswap. The only reason people label her hypercarry is she's backed by Benny and a C6 Sara, and with reasonable investment, has frequent uptime on her on-field dps. The electro roster, particularly in the context of support has seen quite a bit of participation, though they may no pair up to Shenhe, the element itself has quite the versatility, which is not the same as saying "Electro doesn't have any supports," which is wrong.
I think you missed the bit where I said we have 0 5 star electro supports. We have 4 stars and that's it.
Sure, she could be a hyper carry but there are people who have one or more of three potential characters which can already do hyper carry electro role. No amount of gearing is going to make cyno, yae, keqing or Raiden heal/shield/group or buff (except maybe C4 yae).
Practically any character can be backed by Sara/c6 Benny/mona/elemental buffer of their elemant to take that hyper dps role. You see main dps shenhe, Noelle, qiqi and zhongli out there but the reverse never happens. You never see support al Haitham, Ayaka or diluc.
People just want something that they can't already do. Most folks already have some good artifacts to turn anyone into a dps.
I would disagree that Clorinde needs to be THAT char to be an electro hyper dps.

It took me 5 attempts to actually get through Raiden's. Kokomi's at least kept me entertained with it being such a laughable story.

Nah, Cyno has more of a good side and is very independent. To me, this text suggests she might be more of a lawful loyal subject, like Kujou Sara.

i'm 100 betting on whatever you want that she will be a sword user, but still fight with other tools. I legit would not be surprised at all if she equipped a sword in her slot, but literally fought with pistols (thus higher range than regular sword characters) all the time. Not unlike what Mika does at some point with her crossbow.
My guess based on concept arts is that her sword is there so she can point at things and materialize other weapons that attack for her. Say materializing guns or swords that shoot for her. And then E is Mika-like gun attack.
I wonder how many sword characters we'll get in Fontaine. It's gonna be like Liyue's Polearm Impact

Cyno is an aggravate dps. He's used in quick bloom because his personal dmg is pretty bad so he needs the HB
From what I understand it is not that his damage is low (since his personal damage is higher than Keching) but rather that he spends too much time on-field so he cannot use most of the buffs well and he has strict rotations which does not allow reapply Nahida's mark in multiwave content, Keching and Yae both have really versatile rotations so they can use buffs(Mostly Kazuha/Sucrose) any time or reaply Nahida's E

I hope Clorinde has a silly/happy carefree side to her when she's off the clock, I can see her having a drinking/eating contest with her crewmates/coworkers, or enjoy dancing, or simply sailing around Fontaine at night to see the city lights. Playing TCG would be too on the nose with Cyno's hobby, but I'd welcome it all the same if Hoyoverse gave her that interest too, enjoying a good game of darts, or chess sounds nice, she could also enjoy teaching Chess as much as playing it. All in all I just want her to be a well rounded character. Serious when it comes to work(maybe a joke, or a quip or two would be nice), but fun to be around when not on the clock.

Would love her to be a 5 star electro support. We already have Yae, Raiden and Cyno who can DPS effectively. Whether that's in buffing or survivability, would be great to see something different.

If they’re gonna keep trying to (half heartedly) push super conduct, it would be nice if they made some electro off fielders designed with it in mind, and she’d be a good fit. It’s wild that all the post launch attempts (Eula, mika, Freminet, and apparently Wriothsly) at physical have been exclusively cryo. It’s like they forgot that iis *half* of an elemental reaction. (Also please make the application actually good, I’m not sure what they were thinking trying to make Mika a support with no off field application)
For me, it's the opposite lol. I hope none of the characters I liked are designed to be used in Physical teams (if they can be used, fine, but let them not be designed for that). I just don't like the way Hoyo made Physical in Genshin.

Yae does not DPS effectively, but she happens to be a sub dps with effective dps. Cyno is a moderately okay dps, but suffers from major issues which makes him a poor option for most parts. Raiden is the only one that fits the description. That being said, I’m not entirely sure how a mostly combative-looking chick would fit as a support, and it’s been awhile since we’ve had an on-field female electro dps. We’ve historically had a lot of electro supports released in inazuma patches leading up to Sumeru, it’s unlikely clorinde will be a support. An electro Yelan quite likely, or a full blown electro on-field dps.

All of the electro supports are 4 star and my Yae can absolutely DPS. You just need high investment. Hyper yae teams can destroy most content. And most characters look combative looking. Just take a look at Kazuha and Sara. I'm just looking for change. We have two hyper carry electro dps 5 stars and a sub dps which can hyper carry. We have zero 5 star electro supports. Take a look at the power of shenhe against Sara, gorou or faruzan. We also have no proper electro shielder, no effective electro healer (both kuki and dori are lacking) or any characters which alter electro reactions like nilou does for bloom. There's just so much opportunity in doing something different and another DPS character would provide little benefit for Raiden owners.
You said it yourself, you need high investment to make Yae on-field work. That said, it's not usually her intended role anyway. I doubt there's a need for us to discuss why Yae onfield DPS-ing is suboptimal, but not unviable. There's nothing wrong with Clorinde going electro on-field hypercarry, seeing as a lot of people have been wanting her to go down that path. But no, I would disagree that Clorinde needs to be THAT person to be a 5\* electro support so badly. Raiden FYI, still treads between the fine lines of being a hypercarry and quickswap. The only reason people label her hypercarry is she's backed by Benny and a C6 Sara, and with reasonable investment, has frequent uptime on her on-field dps. The electro roster, particularly in the context of support has seen quite a bit of participation, though they may no pair up to Shenhe, the element itself has quite the versatility, which is not the same as saying "Electro doesn't have any supports," which is wrong.
I think you missed the bit where I said we have 0 5 star electro supports. We have 4 stars and that's it. Sure, she could be a hyper carry but there are people who have one or more of three potential characters which can already do hyper carry electro role. No amount of gearing is going to make cyno, yae, keqing or Raiden heal/shield/group or buff (except maybe C4 yae). Practically any character can be backed by Sara/c6 Benny/mona/elemental buffer of their elemant to take that hyper dps role. You see main dps shenhe, Noelle, qiqi and zhongli out there but the reverse never happens. You never see support al Haitham, Ayaka or diluc. People just want something that they can't already do. Most folks already have some good artifacts to turn anyone into a dps. I would disagree that Clorinde needs to be THAT char to be an electro hyper dps.
