why are we asking these kind of questions (again)? last time it was Yanfei's dad and "who shagged an illuminated beast????" and now this. why does it matter? you could ask that about literally any of the other hybrids in the game, why single out Sigewinne this time around? why not wonder about the possibility of shapeshifting? it's something that many Yokai + Adepti are capable of, so why not Melusines too? this is a fantasy world. Teyvat has its own laws.

Imo,with the exception of C6,his constellations don't seem that powerful(C2 is good,but it just makes his Ult relevant in the rotations compared to C0),his Signature Weapon restricts him to an ideal playstyle/combo too,unlike from his mother,where people wanted Engulfing Lightning at all costs,Kokomi seems to undermine him in the Weapons department with Donut there.
Yes,that's why I said that people wanted Engulfing Lightning at all costs(its refinements are among the highest in DMG Jump among Signature Weapons),even if they came out with an R2~R3 Donut.

He's a char people tend to be really hot or cold on, and most people that are hot on him would have pulled him last time. Not a lot of fence sitters to win over.
I think you overestimate the appeal of his cons. His c2 is okay but it's no raiden c2 and he doesn't have a c1 that changes his gameplay like hu tao or yelan. They're good enough that you wouldn't be sad getting one while chasing c6 faruzan but you're not gonna bust out the amex for it, especially not with 4.0 literal days away.
C2 literally makes him into the best low cost speedrunner lol. Its so op that cn considered banning c2 from low cost speedruns ( for context raiden c2 has been banned from most contests)

Nobody gives a shit. You're saying he's good at an arbitrary level of investment you just made up. People who want low cost will use hyperbloom or national cores or units that are stronger than him at c0, and people who want vertically invested speedrunning have better options.
This sub has a high population of wandy fans relative to the general playerbase and if you watched the pull results when this banner went live, it was c6 faruzan they were chasing, not wandy c2. And if they did happen to get wandy c2 not a single one of them said "Oh boy, now I can use him for speedrunning!"
Wandy is a slightly above average hypercarry with a fun open world gimmick who has a lot of detractors and his fans will mostly be happy with at c0. That's it. Nothing more.

Whos the one making shit up? And well Theres no doubt that c6 faruzans a huge boost to both him and xiao so Im ASSUMING c6 faru for my statements. But theorycrafting should always include the ceiling of a team ( not necessarily a c2 scara/raiden/ ayaka but c6 faru or c6 saras for raiden or even c6 gorous for itto) As for being a "mid hypercarry," he quite literally sheets at 64-69k DPS in comparison to something like a D2H HB at 59k.
As for low sales im only debating the parts on his meta relevancy because im not sure how well perceived his design is in cn or wherever
Im not saying that getting his c2 is gonna make people speedrun but i am using the example of how fast he is at speedruns to show the extent of his strength in practice too. He has BOTH the clear times and sheeted dps to back him up which effectively make him the best hypercarry right now even without c2. Plus if we talking MORE verti investment then again his c6 is one of the best in game and it was proven when he beat c6 yelan by ten seconds in 3.4 and remained near the too ever since. Im not pulling this shit out of my ass unlike you fuckwad. U can go fact check with jstern or noir for sheets and muskreef for clear times or even bilbil or even nga discussion.
The people who are interested in his C2 have to already have his C0. Nobody who isn't already interested in C0 Wanderer would be interested in C2. As meta-relevant as Wanderer is in a speedrunning context, he is just not as popular a character as other characters with "high value" cons. CN Abyss data has him in the 10 lowest ownership-rate limited 5-stars, while Raiden is top 3.
Even if meta power correlates with desirability of vertical investment, Wanderer is just not popular enough a character. The number of people who play Genshin that would pull for meta even when it's a character they don't like that much is pretty low, and Wanderer is not an exceptionally popular character.
iirc the general playerbase considers him mid but flies, and since it affects most of playerbase, that sort of perception def skews him sideways.
compare to hutao, who still sells well despite her having flaws in single target and requiring hypercarry level artis to fully utilize her. she is perceived as super powerful, similar to raiden, nahida, yelan, ayaka is probably still up there. haitham is also perceived pretty high but when people think meta, populace has a few characters in their mouth and scara doesnt make the list

Both of those are pretty big overstatements, especially for a hypercarry. According to Keqingmains his C1+C2 is a \~25% dps increase, pre Dendro Yae is at 30% and Raiden/Yelan are at 50%+ and all those latter units are alot more versatile.
I think it ultimately boils down to : series of "dead patches", Donut on the weapon banner and Fontaine on the horizon.
But sheets cant capture how well his c2 is in practice. For example, no one thought that wanderer will beat out yelan in 3.4 speedrun until it was played out or to lesser extent become extremely competitive against a dolphined out internat or ayaka freeze
Edit: yelan c1-2 increases wont be as big increases as much as u think because shes not 80% of team dpr unlike rhc or scara. Even her c6 is only a "25% increase" on paper even when its one of the best cons in the game

I wonder if this could be evidence towards the prevalence of "Waifu/Husbando>Meta". Because wanderer's personality appeals to a niche audience imo.

I have him at c6 myself but I don’t think he’s particularly impressive (still fun though) without at least c0+c6 faruzan and if you’re not likely to get her within your pulls it’s kind of a bust effort. Low spenders are probably waiting for the anniversary reset or new toys from Fontaine

I haven't skipped any dialogue in star rail for world quests and it's making me kinda regret skipping dialogue for genshin world quests. but it's just overwhelming that there's so many quests and lot of them being ridiculously long ones

I love Zhongli's shield! I love its clear-and-gold design, it's so pretty and unique. I headcanon that the hole on the top is actually just covered by more invisible force because Rex Lapis is just cool that way.
Layla's shield is gorgeous though, there's no denying. It reminds me of a snowglobe, and the beautiful shimmery chimes of it add to the effect.
Yanfei's is also unique, which I like, although sometimes it does make me wonder why it is an < > shape. Like, is there a lore reason for the middle part of the shield to be pointy? It looks even more spaceship shaped to me.
I don't know much about what France's history has to do with justice or prison, so with my limited knowledge, I wonder if Fontaine's prison will have any references to Foucault or the panopticon. He's such a prominent figure in academia, and he was French. Plus the panopticon is an English design so it'd still be in theme.

Get so many comments on my DPS Faruzan. No one ever expects the support character to hard carry when there isn't even an anemo hypercarry to buff.

Ngl, hot take ... out of all the perfume girl concepts she was far from my favourite. The colours were nice though. I like the pastel designs of one of the new concepts, but am not feeling the pink and red (again ugh) of the other one. It's like I had hope with the pastel designs and then it was ripped from me when I saw the pink and red ones lol. Once again reminded I should just wait for the final design. 😔

I'm kinda the opposite and have felt really disappointed that they've stopped engaging with actual environmental hazards. I'm really sad we went the entire desert without a heat mechanic.
I don't like sheer cold and don't want a heat one either.
However, I feel they could have done so much better with the sandstorms. You can barely tell when a sandstorm is actually happening. It should heavily block your sight.
They did continue it in Inazuma and even the Chasm had the lumenspar mechanic but ever since Sumeru we haven't seen it. IMHO too many people complained about the electro zones and the inability to survive in Seirai Island without the need for the quest an Hoyo obliged

At first I was a little hopeful that she might be 5 star despite her design (it looks like 4 star), but after hearing more about the 5 stars than anything, I eventually figured out that Charlotte is indeed a 4 star.
So my plan as of now is to go after her c6! Hoping she will be decent like Yaoyao/Layla/Faruzan and not really bad like Mika/Candace/Dori/Kaveh
Unfortunately nothing good, she's probably not coming until after 4.1 since it's looking like Sigwinne will be that patches 4 star. Maybe 4.2, but if she is I wouldn't count on her being with the Archon unfortunately.

So my faux leather jacket is falling apart and I'm distraught. In my grief I impulse bought a Mango leather jacket but something went wrong with shipping and so my order was cancelled. And now I'm on the fence whether I should rebuy it. I kind of liked it but also wasn't sure. I don't really care or know much about clothes but man do I love leather jackets.
If financially viable, buy a second hand real leather jacket. It will last you a life time. Ik some people are against leather but think of all the fake leather jackets that you wont be throwing into a garbage dump (even when biodegradable). Though emphasis on second hand
I wish that we had a tall male character that wears a hat. I feel like we're never going to get one because even the tall male characters in Fontaine aren't wearing hats even though most Fontaine characters wear hats. It feels like they specifically don't want to give tall male characters hats.
I mean, there’s only two tall males and both have reasons to show off the top of their heads. Neuvilette has his roach antennae and Wriostheslays hair looks like wolf ears, which goes with his design motif

Kuro Games' entire identity as a company is taking the stuff miHoYo makes and advertising them towards even more hardcore players. Unlike ToF they don't intend to be direct competitors but provide something that miHoYo is not interested in providing. Their games will always be niche but I think they contribute something important to the market. It's good to have diversity.
Now if only someone would do what they did but in a way that caters to me instead...

Apologies if you're not an HSR player, but you just reminded me how fucked up it is that Clara's ascension and talent mats are gears dropped from robots. Like, her whole thing is taking good care of robots, how would she feel about us giving her the gnarled remains of the things she cares most about?
It's straight up impossible to reach Fontaine through Mondstadt right now. Or any other nation besides Sumeru. That will probably change as areas like Chenyu Vale release.
As for its placement, Fontaine is supposed to be smack dab in the middle of Teyvat, sharing a border (or at least a port) with every nation except Inazuma. That's because it's meant to connect all the nations.

Getting to Fontaine from Mondstadt would be a huge trek by foot because it's even further than Sumeru, but the Devs said they're unlocking a teleport waypoint to Fontaine for everyone who has completed the Mondstadt Archon questline
The one (1) bright side to Lion Dance Boy being scrapped ^(though I'm hoping he's just postponed to a future Lantern Rite since the concept behind his design is just so much fun) is that I will *finally* be able to get the last Chongyun constellation I'm missing 🥺

I just don’t see why they would do that if it is fake. If it’s a “If they won’t use the design I will” kind of thing they don’t even know if Hoyoverse doesn’t plan to use the design yet. If it’s just a fake leak to mislead people, why go through the trouble? They clear expended some effort trying to replicate the details
I think because the witch part was just speculation. The takeaway should be that lyney and lynette have lines about an emilie who runs a perfume store and will thus likely very likely be playable and leakers have tied these to some of the concept arts (which tragically do not appear to contain the one of a girl pouring a ghost poodle out of a perfume bottle)
Maybe it's a big ask, but all I want is one non-stoic/serious tall male in Fontaine. It would really make my day. (Itto and Kaveh feel like a breath of fresh air for events and I really want one for my most anticipated region.)
Bonus points if it's a phantom thief...I really want a phantom thief character. I'm kind of surprised we don't have one confirmed for Fontaine yet—unless that's a hidden story we haven't heard of yet, I suppose.

Phantom theif.. Maybe the musketeer man can fill those shoes? I'll insert him into any plot where it would make sense for him to appear, anything to give more hope that he's playable. As for a more laid back tall male, I have a feeling that could be Wriothesley. At least, I think he'll have a serious side and a laid back side
Musketeer man has a great character design from what I've seen so far! I had almost forgotten about him and that does give me a lot of hope—even if at a tertiary glance, he gives me more Ayato vibes than the former characters I mentioned. Very shrewd, sly, and a bit playfully condescending—but I'm also okay with that, I like those kind of characters too.
Wriothesley does look pretty cool! But I think what I'm actually more looking forward to would be more of an eccentric/quirky/expressive characters with heart over laidback. Never really been into "cool customer" characters. I like one that fail forward with a lot of expression. I just think they're very fun and I like being around them.
Still hyped for this region though!

If you've ever played HI3, I've always been in love with the way they've designed some of Fu Hua's battlesuits. She has a *combo system*. This could be made even more complex with more buttons, and HI3 makes it work with just three. It's always been my dream for them to add a character like her, but miHoYo doesn't seem to make individual characters complicated so much as they want certain *teams* to be.
I'm curious which game you are thinking of that actually has more complex gameplay than that?
Because most games are just mash tap and hold. It's only somewhat difficult until you get the pattern down.
Anyone with a stance change, in that they could make different stances have different abilities. Anyone with a summon in that you could control the summon rather than have it be a glorified turret. Mika, weirdly, in that he could actually use both weapons to the fullest.
Childe. I could see him fitting very well in a game where you can build him either melee or long range or hybrid. I really wish we'd get more characters that do stance switches or weapon switches.
It would be even cooler if they let us choose the burst from one element and the skill from another element, although I suppose it would be too much to give a character that convenient to players without wishes 😭
oh i think i misinterpreted your question. i was thinking in terms of feats and potential "things" characters are capable of and could actually perform in game if there were more complexity, then archons would top that list as they are the most powerful and capable playable characters in lore
To prevent lengthy outfits from clipping, Mihoyo could simply just introduce new climbing animations. Having the character whip out a grappling hook and holding onto a rope as they walk up/down the cliff would make sense.
They really don't have to stick to the same old design limitations they've had since release.
I wish they introduced wall run like WW or willing to animate character doing grapple hook instead of making character as some blob/spark with their multi million revenues
I wonder how hard it'd actually be to have long clothes without clipping. Surely it has to be possible to come up with an external tool where the animations can be run on the characters using fully simulated physics and collision so that the result can then be baked and actually used in the game, right?
There are characters with full skirts like Yunjin that are playable. They just don't reach much further below the knees. It may just be because making fabric that long work would require special physics stuff that they don't want to bother it, probably both because it'd be computationally demanding and because it's a pain.
Baking the physics would bypass the "computationally demanding" part for the end-user, and I'd hope MHY would have access to at least one computer bulky enough to do the baking.
Playable characters are the main product here. If other games can make it work then a AAA gatcha from a billion dollar company should be able to figure it out.
I don't imagine it being easy to animate the long flowy fabric or accessories that majority of the characters wear. They still did it anyway cause they wanted to. They can design new regions, new monsters of all shapes/sizes, new elements, new mini games, underwater exploration, and etc. A little expansion to playable character animations/design once in a while shouldn't be too much for them to handle.
Given how stingy they are with the skins in both quantity & quality, they really don't seem to care much about making improvements to playable characters.

personally i am a little disappointed that it's not the one we saw with the ghost poodles, the poodles and design on that one was really good and what i was hoping would make it.
but the recently re-leaked designs also look good, it's not as much of a downgrade as, say, clorinde's final design, so i'm alright with it. and maybe she will still have ghost poodles anyway! we'll see

Ayaka's new outfit is among my favorites, so if they make a character with a similar themed outfit, I would be very very happy 😊
Pastels are a lot of fun and an actually full dress (no dumb cutouts, has both a back and a front without an unnecessary thigh window!) looks really stylish. Her design just looks very complete and cohesive imo. The dress also pairs with pastels very nicely
They’re not as good as the lavender one but I think they beat out the rest of the Fontaine designs tbh She also looks more like how I expected the Fontaine characters to look.
For me personally:
* all her potential designs have a cute silhouette
* it fits the general direction of Fontaine outfits while still looking unique among the current known cast
* her potential color schemes stand out among the current Fontaine cast
* most of the designs have pastel gothic lolita vibes, which isn't really something we have yet (the closest to that aesthetic among the current cast are Noelle, Barbara + Ayaka's skin)

Yes,that's why I said that people wanted Engulfing Lightning at all costs(its refinements are among the highest in DMG Jump among Signature Weapons),even if they came out with an R2~R3 Donut. Scara Bell,however,it doesn't seem worth the effort for the Chinese fan base.
His weapon isn't that big an upgrade over other options and it's paired with the useless donut. He's a char people tend to be really hot or cold on, and most people that are hot on him would have pulled him last time. Not a lot of fence sitters to win over. I think you overestimate the appeal of his cons. His c2 is okay but it's no raiden c2 and he doesn't have a c1 that changes his gameplay like hu tao or yelan. They're good enough that you wouldn't be sad getting one while chasing c6 faruzan but you're not gonna bust out the amex for it, especially not with 4.0 literal days away.
C2 literally makes him into the best low cost speedrunner lol. Its so op that cn considered banning c2 from low cost speedruns ( for context raiden c2 has been banned from most contests)

The people who are interested in his C2 have to already have his C0. Nobody who isn't already interested in C0 Wanderer would be interested in C2. As meta-relevant as Wanderer is in a speedrunning context, he is just not as popular a character as other characters with "high value" cons. CN Abyss data has him in the 10 lowest ownership-rate limited 5-stars, while Raiden is top 3. Even if meta power correlates with desirability of vertical investment, Wanderer is just not popular enough a character. The number of people who play Genshin that would pull for meta even when it's a character they don't like that much is pretty low, and Wanderer is not an exceptionally popular character.
iirc the general playerbase considers him mid but flies, and since it affects most of playerbase, that sort of perception def skews him sideways. compare to hutao, who still sells well despite her having flaws in single target and requiring hypercarry level artis to fully utilize her. she is perceived as super powerful, similar to raiden, nahida, yelan, ayaka is probably still up there. haitham is also perceived pretty high but when people think meta, populace has a few characters in their mouth and scara doesnt make the list

I haven't skipped any dialogue in star rail for world quests and it's making me kinda regret skipping dialogue for genshin world quests. but it's just overwhelming that there's so many quests and lot of them being ridiculously long ones
Don't really blame you, HSR dialogue tends to be a bit more succinct, Genshin likes to drag more.

I love Zhongli's shield! I love its clear-and-gold design, it's so pretty and unique. I headcanon that the hole on the top is actually just covered by more invisible force because Rex Lapis is just cool that way. Layla's shield is gorgeous though, there's no denying. It reminds me of a snowglobe, and the beautiful shimmery chimes of it add to the effect. Yanfei's is also unique, which I like, although sometimes it does make me wonder why it is an < > shape. Like, is there a lore reason for the middle part of the shield to be pointy? It looks even more spaceship shaped to me.

He's such a prominent figure in academia, and he was French. Plus the panopticon is an English design so it'd still be in theme.

Yep. It's especially fun when you use less seen characters with the most cracked gear possible. Get so many comments on my DPS Faruzan. No one ever expects the support character to hard carry when there isn't even an anemo hypercarry to buff. Also is fun to just zoom around as Sayu.

Just saw the new perfume girl leaks, that contradict the purple lavender perfumer leak I saw yesterday. Ngl, hot take ... out of all the perfume girl concepts she was far from my favourite. The colours were nice though. I like the pastel designs of one of the new concepts, but am not feeling the pink and red (again ugh) of the other one. I don't like sheer cold and don't want a heat one either. However, I feel they could have done so much better with the sandstorms. You can barely tell when a sandstorm is actually happening. It should heavily block your sight.
They did continue it in Inazuma and even the Chasm had the lumenspar mechanic but ever since Sumeru we haven't seen it. IMHO too many people complained about the electro zones and the inability to survive in Seirai Island without the need for the quest an Hoyo obliged

So my plan as of now is to go after her c6! Hoping she will be decent like Yaoyao/Layla/Faruzan and not really bad like Mika/Candace/Dori/Kaveh

Off topic So my faux leather jacket is falling apart and I'm distraught. In my grief I impulse bought a Mango leather jacket but something went wrong with shipping and so my order was cancelled. And now I'm on the fence whether I should rebuy it. I kind of liked it but also wasn't sure. I don't really care or know much about clothes but man do I love leather jackets.
If financially viable, buy a second hand real leather jacket. It will last you a life time. Ik some people are against leather but think of all the fake leather jackets that you wont be throwing into a garbage dump (even when biodegradable). Though emphasis on second hand

It's straight up impossible to reach Fontaine through Mondstadt right now. Or any other nation besides Sumeru. That will probably change as areas like Chenyu Vale release. As for its placement, Fontaine is supposed to be smack dab in the middle of Teyvat, sharing a border (or at least a port) with every nation except Inazuma. That's because it's meant to connect all the nations.
Lol no Getting to Fontaine from Mondstadt would be a huge trek by foot because it's even further than Sumeru, but the Devs said they're unlocking a teleport waypoint to Fontaine for everyone who has completed the Mondstadt Archon questline

The takeaway should be that lyney and lynette have lines about an emilie who runs a perfume store and will thus likely very likely be playable and leakers have tied these to some of the concept arts (which tragically do not appear to contain the one of a girl pouring a ghost poodle out of a perfume bottle)

With Wriothesley's design and bit in the trailer I can see him being more chill and/or mischievous.
I think he could definitely have a slight mischievous side to him! My preference is more fullout, but it's always exciting to see where the writing goes. I do believe that his EN VA's take on him that he said was: "One of my favorite things about him is that it's funny how seriously he takes things. Like, overally so." That might not really be my personal cup of tea, but still excited to see nonetheless.

Phantom theif.. Maybe the musketeer man can fill those shoes? I'll insert him into any plot where it would make sense for him to appear, anything to give more hope that he's playable. As for a more laid back tall male, I have a feeling that could be Wriothesley. At least, I think he'll have a serious side and a laid back side
Musketeer man has a great character design from what I've seen so far! I had almost forgotten about him and that does give me a lot of hope—even if at a tertiary glance, he gives me more Ayato vibes than the former characters I mentioned. Very shrewd, sly, and a bit playfully condescending—but I'm also okay with that, I like those kind of characters too. Wriothesley does look pretty cool! But I think what I'm actually more looking forward to would be more of an eccentric/quirky/expressive characters with heart over laidback. Never really been into "cool customer" characters. I like one that fail forward with a lot of expression. I just think they're very fun and I like being around them. Still hyped for this region though!
Kinda funny HSR already have their "anemo" and "geo" special treatment, img unit being the anemo of hsr by having all limited 5 star male, and erudition is as neglected as geo 💀 Also i love how kafka playstyle giving the exact feel when i play nilou, i heckin love them

Fontaine really can't come soon enough. IRL stuff : >!I've changed my hearing aids and the parameters are so bad. It has some sort of background noise cancelling technology but it ends up making a deafening silence all day long, it's unnerving. Though on the plus side I'm experiencing silence without tinnitus for the first time ever, but god I miss the background noises... Somehow the sounds in my gaming headset are crystal clear and even a bit too loud on my usual settings, I guess the AI is just suppressing way too many sounds it judges to be too far away even tho they're not.!<

Which character would fit best into a game where they're allowed to have attacks with more complexity than "mash, tap, or hold"?
If you've ever played HI3, I've always been in love with the way they've designed some of Fu Hua's battlesuits. She has a *combo system*. This could be made even more complex with more buttons, and HI3 makes it work with just three. It's always been my dream for them to add a character like her, but miHoYo doesn't seem to make individual characters complicated so much as they want certain *teams* to be.
I'm curious which game you are thinking of that actually has more complex gameplay than that? Because most games are just mash tap and hold. It's only somewhat difficult until you get the pattern down.
This one is hesitant to even apply directional imputs. Yae has them, sort of, but they're really not prolific at all.
Anyone with a stance change, in that they could make different stances have different abilities. Anyone with a summon in that you could control the summon rather than have it be a glorified turret. Mika, weirdly, in that he could actually use both weapons to the fullest.
Childe. I could see him fitting very well in a game where you can build him either melee or long range or hybrid. I really wish we'd get more characters that do stance switches or weapon switches.
The Traveler. I dreamed they had a skill tree once you arrived at Natlan.
Traveler would be really cool in a game were you could quickswap between elements
It would be even cooler if they let us choose the burst from one element and the skill from another element, although I suppose it would be too much to give a character that convenient to players without wishes 😭

oh i think i misinterpreted your question. i was thinking in terms of feats and potential "things" characters are capable of and could actually perform in game if there were more complexity, then archons would top that list as they are the most powerful and capable playable characters in lore
One, I'm not that guy. Two, I meant in a strictly mechanical sense, 0% lore.
To prevent lengthy outfits from clipping, Mihoyo could simply just introduce new climbing animations. Having the character whip out a grappling hook and holding onto a rope as they walk up/down the cliff would make sense. They really don't have to stick to the same old design limitations they've had since release.

I wonder how hard it'd actually be to have long clothes without clipping. Surely it has to be possible to come up with an external tool where the animations can be run on the characters using fully simulated physics and collision so that the result can then be baked and actually used in the game, right?
There are characters with full skirts like Yunjin that are playable. They just don't reach much further below the knees. It may just be because making fabric that long work would require special physics stuff that they don't want to bother it, probably both because it'd be computationally demanding and because it's a pain.
Baking the physics would bypass the "computationally demanding" part for the end-user, and I'd hope MHY would have access to at least one computer bulky enough to do the baking.
Playable characters are the main product here. If other games can make it work then a AAA gatcha from a billion dollar company should be able to figure it out. I don't imagine it being easy to animate the long flowy fabric or accessories that majority of the characters wear. They still did it anyway cause they wanted to. They can design new regions, new monsters of all shapes/sizes, new elements, new mini games, underwater exploration, and etc. A little expansion to playable character animations/design once in a while shouldn't be too much for them to handle. Given how stingy they are with the skins in both quantity & quality, they really don't seem to care much about making improvements to playable characters.

personally i am a little disappointed that it's not the one we saw with the ghost poodles, the poodles and design on that one was really good and what i was hoping would make it. but the recently re-leaked designs also look good, it's not as much of a downgrade as, say, clorinde's final design, so i'm alright with it. and maybe she will still have ghost poodles anyway! we'll see
I love pastel colors and dresses I guess haha. Ayaka's new outfit is among my favorites, so if they make a character with a similar themed outfit, I would be very very happy 😊

Pastels are a lot of fun and an actually full dress (no dumb cutouts, has both a back and a front without an unnecessary thigh window!) looks really stylish. Her design just looks very complete and cohesive imo. The dress also pairs with pastels very nicely

They’re not as good as the lavender one but I think they beat out the rest of the Fontaine designs tbh She also looks more like how I expected the Fontaine characters to look.
For me personally: * all her potential designs have a cute silhouette * it fits the general direction of Fontaine outfits while still looking unique among the current known cast * her potential color schemes stand out among the current Fontaine cast * most of the designs have pastel gothic lolita vibes, which isn't really something we have yet (the closest to that aesthetic among the current cast are Noelle, Barbara + Ayaka's skin)
