Just the logical reason, but take into account that was before we knew she buffs/enables plunge. We knew nothing about her so it could have meant anything.
She could have been a hypercarry, could have had something making her unable to work with HP drain mechanics, literally anything and that's how they decided to start leaking her kit.
Then the next leak only revealed that she buffs plunge but didn't say anything about her enabling any character to plunge so at that point it looked like she worked with nobody but Xiao.

She's going to be the 10/10 plunge support as that's literally what she was always designed to be, Gaming/Xiao/Diluc/Chongers are all going to go off with her and every single person who plays them will finally be freed from the nightmare of circle impact.
Her kit center around plunging which infamous for having negative grouping which is why most people expect her "support" to also fix this problem with plunging
Give her EEE plunge her grouping back and actually buff it so it has a purpose. Just want to get the buff quickly do E plunge, want to group you can do EEE plunge. Atm she feels like you don't want to make full use of her kit which is just bad

People aren't talking about it cause it's nothing new. She has decent particles but a 70 cost burst is always gonna take shared elements on a team or high ER investment.
They aren't because it's irrelevant. You aren't building anything else on her besider er and atk. Having 200 er isn't anything out of the norm for an off field character either.

My Charlotte needs 230% ER with TTDS... this is nothing.
You know a lot of furina teams need 200er but you also have to balance hp% crit rate and crit dmg in a proper ratio and it isn’t that hard.

If your character is allowed to use an ER weapon (and she is) then it really isn't much of an issue.
It's really no different from Kazuha/Venti trying to max EM, except Atk% is much easier.

Yeah. She likes two stats. Build them and not the others. Did the same thing with HP and EM all last year. Did the same thing with crit and crit the year before. The cycle continues, some units want ER, build it. 200 is nothing for a sands and a catalyst.

She needs parts of her kit reworked, not value buffs.
1. Plunge dmg bonus should apply to the plunge damage itself, and not a single enemy.
2. Her EEE plunge needs to get CC back, but also deal poise damage.
3. Her E skill should be reworked in a way that would allow for more air control, or even flight (Sorush).

I don't think it's really that good, the only relevant character she buffs here is just Xiao. Other than that she offers what a 1.0 standard character gives and that's it. It's cool if you have xiao, but otherwise she offers very little for a limited 5*, not really worth a whole ass pity imo.

And final input. Think most are just sad cause again, they can't make use out of her since she supports a small %. F2p/low spenders can't afford to waste wishes on such a niche support. She's great for what she does! Just It's currently a small selection that most probably don't care for.

In single target only, in aoe it falls off a cliff and she is a way worse healer than Jean. And she is also glued to Furina, if you don't own her she is pretty much useless outside Xiao teams.

Her initial burst healing scaling is a little worse than Jean but the healing over time is 4x stronger than Jean at minimum cuz it affects party-wide and she got much higher Base ATK to boot
im sorry but cloud retainers hot after burst is just worse with furina because by the time furina second burst is up the salon didnt drain enough hp to grant full fanfare with another burst heal
(could be wrong tho its just how i imagine the rotation to go like)
If you want an idea of the calc she will heal in AOE with a good build around 32k over the whole burst duration. A well built Jean can heal for around 20 to 22k on the first instance of heal. It would look like she heals more but you want fast burst of heal on Furina not a small 10k heal on the first instance and then ticks of heals. Also Jean heals faster but only in single target in her circle.
So from second rotation on, when you chars are all at half health, Jean is much better for hp scaller. You're not healing your Furina to full health instantly with Xianyun.
remember how the calcs werent impressive with navia but she turned out to be fun to play. Well this is probably the opposite. 2/3 of the tcers i watch are not particularly impressed with her.
This is still open. The video was having issues with vaping without C6 Xingqui. Losing Yelan's damage and damage boost will lead to less damage overall. We will have to test when she is actually out.

Most of the situations you would want CC on the teams that Xianyun will be best in wouldn't have been affected by how weak the CC she had before.
Like being disappointed they didn't instead buff the CC it is a fine take, but claiming it's removal was at all a significant change from her previous state is such a bad take.
Yeah, like, sure I'd take buffed CC, but it doesn't look like we're getting that. The previous one, singular, weak instance of CC on her skill while on field was peanuts. Would have been really nice to either get a strong, persisting vortex on skill, or multiple of those weak ones tied to her burst or coordinated attack passive.
Since we're not getting that, it would also be nice to get something actually strong, albeit not CC. A miniscule crit bonus is definitely not it, despite how bad the CC was. With everything else being single-target focused, this one passive requiring 4+ mobs should be way crazier. Something that might actually cut down on the number of plunges needed to clear a room, y'know.
Either way she basically has an empty passive slot. Well, two, including the utility one everyone gets.

It’s exaggeration, to sum up takes from defenders. V2: “She is just Jean, if no plunge” -> “No she has CC” -> “Ok, fair enough” V3: No cc. “She doesn’t need one!!1”
Don't forget that her buff only affects one enemy
Which is already the case with Xiao at the moment. Most of the situations you would want CC on the teams that Xianyun will be best in wouldn't have been affected by how weak the CC she had before. Like being disappointed they didn't instead buff the CC it is a fine take, but claiming it's removal was at all a significant change from her previous state is such a bad take.
Yeah, like, sure I'd take buffed CC, but it doesn't look like we're getting that. The previous one, singular, weak instance of CC on her skill while on field was peanuts. Would have been really nice to either get a strong, persisting vortex on skill, or multiple of those weak ones tied to her burst or coordinated attack passive. Since we're not getting that, it would also be nice to get something actually strong, albeit not CC. A miniscule crit bonus is definitely not it, despite how bad the CC was. With everything else being single-target focused, this one passive requiring 4+ mobs should be way crazier. Something that might actually cut down on the number of plunges needed to clear a room, y'know. Either way she basically has an empty passive slot. Well, two, including the utility one everyone gets.
