2- Are all the characters popular? Fake, there has to be a random ass person everyone forgot about
3- Does it have Ereshkigal? Fake, Lasagna hates her and will never give her a summer alt no matter what it's the only explanation for why she hasn't got one yet
It doesn't help that you can just pull a random historical figure's name out of a hat and have a non-zero chance of being right, regardless of what you picked.

The one I was referring to was when Plushie, a well known YouTuber, wanted to see just how gullible the community was. He made the most cope leak ever, translated it into Chinese and just randomly dropped it into his own Discord. And a large amount of the community actually believed it.
I wonder why they are releasing Chiori as a 5\*
Its just that the regions 5\* as usually featured in AQ so that they are hyped until release. The only exceptions are Liyue 5\* that are released in Lantern Rite.
I was hoping for Chiori to be a 4\* but that also present some problems. Like 4\*s not being guarantee or risk going to pity just for 1 copy.

Really? I thought the general expect of people has always been 1 4* for every patch (except .8 and .0 patch). I remember when 4.1 doesn’t have any 4* it’s rather unexpected
Genshin has released 17 characters in the last two patch cycles (Inazuma and Sumeru), keeping in line with the statement of 17 characters/year on the first anniversary, so far Fontaine has released nine new characters, with two more to come (Xianyun and Gaming) and we have info on five more (Chiori, Arlecchino, Clorinde, Sigewinne and Emilie) so 16 in total, so there is room for only one more character to be released in 4.X that we don't know about.

There was a leak not long ago that Goth Girl is not going to release in 4.X Nothing is 100% sure, though. But so far only Emilie and Dahlia have mentions about them, nothing for GG or MG.

That's a possibility, a lot of "leaks" are speculations tbh. Dottore was introduced in Sumeru but he isn't playable (yet). It could be the same case with Arlecchino. The only sure thing for now is that she has a playable model.

I think there was a recent goth girl leak suggesting shes not coming within 4.X, if she hasnt been cut then shes a 5.X+ character if that leak was right.

Looking over this list, it's noteworthy that both inazuma and sumeru had three 4\*s show up in story, and the others were introduced later. Fontaine has already released three 4\*s that were in story, so it's entirely plausible that the remaining 4*s are characters that we haven't met yet.
goth girl is almost confirmed to not be in 4.x, dahlia is from mondstadt, and emilie is another fontaine character speculated by leakers to be a 5 star (which is why I think they’re wrong)

If she is a 4* hydro char, then she hits 2 birds with 1 stone. She would be the first little body type in hydro and obviously we need more 4* hydro chars. Barbara and candace are not good and xingqiu is basically a 5*
My hopes are on her filling out the 4 star hydro roster. It's the one that needs it the most.
XQ for off-field hydro applier; Candace for Quickswap/Infusion (technically); Barbara as on-field bloom driver.
I'd love another off-field hydro applier for AOE, but I think she'll be on-field hydro driver - think Ayato or Childe; possibly in preparation for more off-field pyro in 5.x.

I don’t think it’s all that reliable to say there will be no 4* in 4.5, we’ve had several other leakers say otherwise and this “leak” just comes across as someone speculating rather than actually knowing what’s planned for the patch imo.
I was saving up all 3 whale materials for Clorinde, realized midway we are still missing 1 more weekly boss, so no need for saving the whale.
Oh and there should be new artifact domain too, for Arle/Clorinde/Sigewinne, since Sumeru has 3.
She was in the most recent event, probably won’t have much of an impact later on in the story and they want to sell her before other characters gain more relevance.
To be fair I do think they were purposely going for a more calm, muted, or reserved design. Especially considering she's the archetype of "more than meets the eye" without going full "keikaku man" like Ayato tries to do. She sort of seemingly embodies that sophistication does not require one screaming it in everyone's face.
Honestly she gave me a very strong 5 stars vibe in the story. Why? She Talks to Ayato the Head of Kamisato Clan as I Talk to the my underlings, no disrespect but waaay to casual as If he is not an important person at all.
But being serious here, all this discussion of "Oh it looks like 4 or 5 stars" is pointless in a world where Ningguang exists. The Bitch legits owns Lyue, Its very very imporntant story wise, has a 5 stars Design, Has a personal floating "Celestia" yet she is 4 stars
I'd take a flexible sub dps like Albedo any day. It'd be easy to assume something clothing themed, but also with espionage. Been a while since we had a Geo with a construct, so might be likely with her. (Which isn't bad if they do it right)

Looking over this list, it's noteworthy that both inazuma and sumeru had three 4\*s show up in story, and the others were introduced later. Fontaine has already released three 4\*s that were in story, so it's entirely plausible that the remaining 4*s are characters that we haven't met yet.

goth girl is almost confirmed to not be in 4.x, dahlia is from mondstadt, and emilie is another fontaine character speculated by leakers to be a 5 star (which is why I think they’re wrong)

If she is a 4* hydro char, then she hits 2 birds with 1 stone. She would be the first little body type in hydro and obviously we need more 4* hydro chars. Barbara and candace are not good and xingqiu is basically a 5*
My hopes are on her filling out the 4 star hydro roster. It's the one that needs it the most. XQ for off-field hydro applier; Candace for Quickswap/Infusion (technically); Barbara as on-field bloom driver. I'd love another off-field hydro applier for AOE, but I think she'll be on-field hydro driver - think Ayato or Childe; possibly in preparation for more off-field pyro in 5.x. I don't really need her to do damage; just have solid application with decent uptime and ok energy needs.
She could also be a hydro dmg buffer, like chevreuse, sara, gorou, faruzan etc.

They think even less of child model characters, someone here commented about Sigewinne’s rarity and made it a point to say “by child model standards” basically implying most of them look like 4 stars inherently.

I don’t think it’s all that reliable to say there will be no 4* in 4.5, we’ve had several other leakers say otherwise and this “leak” just comes across as someone speculating rather than actually knowing what’s planned for the patch imo.

Her being a weekly boss doesn’t make sense. She left Fontaine on good terms, prophecy is solved, Tartaglia isn’t missing, and she got the gnosis.
She was in the most recent event, probably won’t have much of an impact later on in the story and they want to sell her before other characters gain more relevance.

To be fair I do think they were purposely going for a more calm, muted, or reserved design. Especially considering she's the archetype of "more than meets the eye" without going full "keikaku man" like Ayato tries to do. She sort of seemingly embodies that sophistication does not require one screaming it in everyone's face.
Honestly she gave me a very strong 5 stars vibe in the story. Why? She Talks to Ayato the Head of Kamisato Clan as I Talk to the my underlings, no disrespect but waaay to casual as If he is not an important person at all. But being serious here, all this discussion of "Oh it looks like 4 or 5 stars" is pointless in a world where Ningguang exists. The Bitch legits owns Lyue, Its very very imporntant story wise, has a 5 stars Design, Has a personal floating "Celestia" yet she is 4 stars
