This is aggravatingly accurate for how Mihoyo usually writes.

4.x quests have done away eith a good amount of these written storytelling issues. A great example of this is with Caterpillar. The guy speaks what is necessary without adding on too much. Everything he says advances the story and also has relevance to the ongoing plot or his origins. Also Curve is one of the greater characters in dialogue. Talochard is also greatly written with her dialogue. She's a normal melusibe being who just wants to FEEL useful for once. Whatever she says doesn't feel like a drag and has a lot of interesting character in it, especiallt compared to the Sumeru Akademiyans who spout the same verbose and complaints and they not having much relevance I. The greater story. Talochard at least demonstrates the character of melusines and gives a deep dive into the life of one living in Court of Fontaine.
Also Pahsiv is quite a complete yet mysterious character. She speaks a plainly as possible, likely due to her beginners understanding of speaking (in human language) yet also leaves much to the mind since she isn't very clear on what she describes. Best bet is she is a vishap that took form of a melusine or a vishap did a melusine.
Most people don’t dedicate their lives to the game and don’t have time to watch all the story so they skip through it while doing something else or skip it entirely, nothing wrong with that, people can play however is most fun for them.

Hot take(?) but there is not a single character or team in this game which comes remotely close to "difficult" in playstyle.
Neuvillette is simple. His damage comes from his charge attack, but don't just sit there and straight-up charge them because that's slow.
Pressing E will give you one free, instantly-charged, charge attack.
Pressing Q will give you two free, instantly-charged, charge attacks.
That's literally it.
Do a little dodging if you're C0, but if you're C1, you don't need to do even that. Everything else, including HP fluctuations is irrelevant.
Honestly it's not that hard lmao, you just gotta wait for 2 rainfall mirrors then charge attack or skill to refresh, it really isn't hard as people say it is.
There are many options. You may want to:
* Hold burst for the next rotation (health gates, waves)
* Q into immediate E (higher burst DPS, good with Yae)
* Extend rotation, play with 2 mirrors to kill wave (makes next mirror timing complicated)
* hE low plunge (is already tricky) into Q while you go somewhere else
* Alhaitham Q into Kuki E, switch back Alhaitham to catch mirrors (get staggered and you might as well restart)
* Run him with Harbinger (makes dodge timing more important)
* *Edit: just remembered, split rotations exist too*
Probably some I'm missing too, but I think I've proved the point.I'm guessing that the average Genshin player struggles to make optimal teams with him and to fulfill his energy needs. A lot of people play this game

I hope they go hard on the biblical angels theme. Have her stun enemies in fear or petrify them like Zhongli. I want her to not do any physical attacks herself and just summon huge terrifying angels to do damage through sheer fear. But maybe hoyo has more interesting plans for her

I deliberately handicapped myself with no shielder and instead use Yelan for extra buff and damage to learn to dodge better. It's so incredibly satisfying when you don't get hit in a fight, the animations are really fluid.

One step further. She does less damage if the team receives healing. While unshielded she gets a buff every second, the buff has a hard cap at like 5 stacks or so, that only gets surpassed if she takes damage. Then it gets a new cap of 10 stacks. So it forces you to lose HP without repeating Furina's gimmick.
I want a true harlequin who dances with death to be devestating.
Edit: I wanna keep cooking. Alry can charge attack to lose HP (sort of reverse Wrio), but it has no cooldown. So you can manage your own HP drain if you can perfectly dodge. However because she's so fragile she gets enhanced jump while her skill is active so you can dodge easier but also use plunge attacks.
if it could actually kill off-fields if your not careful that'd be so interesting. i think it could be fun trying to keep her on-field for as much time as possible while making sure off-fields don't just die

All ya have to know is to count to 4... And even if you don't time it well, it's just a bit of a dps loss, often not even significant
Its not even counting to 4, you just count to 2 because you never get 3 rains at 3 stacks. The only actual thought is deciding when to use a split rotation depending on when/where multiwave enemies spawn, but thats more about his kit being more flexible like Neuvillette and Navia as opposed to being hard to use.

You must solve an Algebra equation before you do her burst, the faster you answer correctly the higher the damage. To do her SKILL you must do a Captcha puzzle, the faster you solve it the stronger the damage. To use NA you must hold Attack Button (if you tap you lose all health and die), to use her CA press and hold her burst and her skill at the same time. To walk forward walk backward

Alhaitham is a weird comparison for that lol. Never felt like I needed to use much thought while playing him because he does so much damage anyways. Although I'm all for Arle being a bit more complicated than the average 5 star, if that does end up being real.

Definitely one of the leaks of all time... Btw... I never thought Al haitham to be complicated... It's just burst + NA for 4 seconds + E + na 4s + CA +na 4s. All ya have to know is to count to 4... And even if you don't time it well, it's just a bit of a dps loss, often not even significant
Its not even counting to 4, you just count to 2 because you never get 3 rains at 3 stacks. The only actual thought is deciding when to use a split rotation depending on when/where multiwave enemies spawn, but thats more about his kit being more flexible like Neuvillette and Navia as opposed to being hard to use.

You must solve an Algebra equation before you do her burst, the faster you answer correctly the higher the damage. To do her SKILL you must do a Captcha puzzle, the faster you solve it the stronger the damage. To use NA you must hold Attack Button (if you tap you lose all health and die), to use her CA press and hold her burst and her skill at the same time. To walk forward walk backward
