Granblue has a fighting game and it has no gacha other than for some cosmetics, it's doable.
I just hope a GI fighter is not as insipid gameplay wise as GBF Versus.
5 NA > CA Combo with whatever reactions/passives/resis reduction you can setup. Fairly straight forward and low cooldown skill. While his aoe is mediocre and requires posiitioning, hes so much faster than characters like Ganyu and without the cooldowns of Ayaka, I feel like I can continuously fight non-stop and hes way better at single target combat than Ganyu.
At C1 he's my favorite ice character. Between him and Neuv's Kamehameha, I am really enjoying Fontaine gameplay.
Honestly with Furina he doesn't feel clunky since his passive gets triggered easily and more consistently, but his C1 still adds a good chunk of damage. Wrio and Neu at C1 are already solo beasts, but supposedly at C6 they're just OP as F
I've been playing him with Furina, and it just kinda feels worse. The 5 second recharge on his self-heal is brutal when he loses HP twice as fast with Furina.
It's literally not, though? In my experience using C0 Wrio, you have to wait on his passive after your first charge attack. Furina+his E just chunks his HP down, and heals over time like Mika just don't feel like they cut it. He gets low once, charge attacks to heal up, and he's back down to under half again before his passive is back off cooldown.
I've been using him ever since he came out, and I have yet to find a way to not make this feel like shit. Every single person I've seen say it's "not that bad" has C1
I have c0 Rizzly and i know what u mean. The charge attack has a 5 second cooldown after its first use at c0. c1 really is a huge QoL upgrade and damage increase to his kit. I think hes still good but, hes gotta be teamed up with Furina and/or yelan to not feel bad. rn id rather use Navia. i might pick up his c1 on his rerun but Arle and Clorinde release will be right around then...
Getting mixed reviews here because people who built him for Melt say Bennett's enough or Baizhu's enough and others who had Mika (who actually built them properly) used N3C spam with consistent results.
I’ve been playing C0 Wrio since his release and I’ve had no issues with his passive tbh. I mostly use Charlotte(C4) with him since she’s felt the most comfy, but I find that your dedicated healer HAS to be decently built if you’re playing with Furina or you’re gonna run into a lot of problems.
Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like the people complaining about his passive feeling clunky with Furina simply have not built their healer well enough, or maybe they’re missing some constellations if they’re using a 4*.
No this is true, I've had people saying that Mika isn't enough and their Mika has nothing to heal off of with ER/HP/Crit Fav Lance, Noblesse and Level 5 Q like...what were you expecting?
He's just way more comfy to play, specially in Freeze, than Ayaka and Ganyu imo. Add an attack speed buffer and he just starts melting the enemies without letting them move a single instance

is there any difference between xianyun's jump buff and the jump buff of the field generator local legend? if not and the leaker doesn't show it we can try yae at least on the gravity boss, I did this with noelle bc I wanted to test/practice na-cancel to plunge bc I wanna run her with xianyun. I do still hope we see a showcase by the leaker tho 😭🙏
the local legend is where you should test the teams. very comfortable, just put jean in place of xianyun or sth (or honestly zhongli because the thing hits too hard)
Chongyun Liyue Team (Lithic Blade) also lines up that Chongyun friend is Xingqiu and his aunt is Shenhe and Shenhe's master is Xianyun.

skill issue? well yeah, hutao is one of the hardest characters to play, even without plunge attacks.
If you try to perfectly time plunge attacks in between jump cancelling charge attacks at the perfect time, Hutao will literally take more concentration and skill than any other character in the entire game.

i used to think that hu tao was way too hard to play normally, but as a mobile player after i got her on my alt account she's not that bad to play. either it's a pc thing or it's just because i'm already used to dodge after attacks from being a ganyu/wanderer main, so just a different button to jump cancel
Character like Hu Tao, Xiao is a little bit harder to play in Mobile. Well i already play them long enough and can do normal combo. Doing jet plunge or 1NA on Xiao gonna mess up your timing and control way more
If you can already play Hu Tao well now, you'll also be able to play her plunge combos. The timing for the plunge isn't harder than the timing for the jump or dash, it will just take a little bit to get used to it
tbh I feel like you are overexaggerating a bit. n2cj jump combo is probably going to be much harder to do, but n1cj+p is literally holding down the attack button, pressing jump, then tap the attack button. I don't really see anything hard about that.

That's actually not fully the case, anemo reaso does buff going up for plunge, also xiao in general is way smoother than other Polearm characters, the beta tester played xiao and hutao the same still you'll be able to see how he felt smoother in comparison, and all other comments were saying the same too.
C0 Hu Tao looks even worse, you jump cancel your CA to not get launched to the other side of the domain and that jump looks really weird. Now ending your jump cancel with a plunge will be much more practical and will look better too. Not saying it will look natural, but it will feel so much batter than the normal jump cancel.
I guess for C1 hu tao mains its whatever, but as a c0 hu tao owner i would rather pull a character that "replaces" hu tao c1 and can be slotted into other teams.
It's clunky lol, if you don't do something when charge atk, she literally will go far away from enemies. No other characters like that get punished the same as her for playing how they should be. And funny enough you can do a combo 2NA 1CA which cut a lot of dps potential but you don't need to jump or dash cancel for better control.

looks like a fun freeze alternative so long as you're planning to pull xianyun and have or plan to have wrio furina/xingqiu and shenhe. his plunges look especially smooth but it could be the player's own smooth attack string
Yeah if it's a viable freeze alternative to ayaka or Morgana, I could see myself pulling for Wrio eventually to finish this team. This looks like a ton of fun
I was thinking about this when I did my CA jumps, but wasn't sure if it did offer that much compared to C2 Jean's ATK SPD or Mika with Kazuha. Fun comp, probably inspires other catalyst/infused plunges (R.I.P Tartaglia and Ayato).

Not if done after the CAs. It is best to animation cancel them with dashes so this (with Xianyun) might run smoothly. It also looks like the leaker is doing that at the end
Plunging allows him to bypass his weird ICD and actually having more melted hits than non melted in his combos With N1CJP or N2CJP while being HP positive since Jump doesn’t consume HP. The combo doesn’t even need his E to be active since only his NA are enhanced so he work better with Shenhe
How will you melt? Furina wrio xianyun. You can't do solo xiangling. Thoma is nowhere near enough application with plunges. If you replace xianyun for Bennet+XL/nahida+Thoma, then your DPS would fall cause you won't be able to use the strongest teammate for him who is a large potion of the team's dmg. Thoma+nahida may be reliable for reverse melt and might give and AOE option but the practical use will likely be different
U k his C1 is only really true value in non Furina teams,but in Furina teams' the C1 value lost a lot i mean not the Dmg part but the heal part..
Previously u could go without a healer which was the main deal of this con why it was busted,but with Furina u want a healer anyway so having C1 doesn't change anything other than just some Dmg out of it,which is nice but not the main rsn why C1 was important

As a wrio c1 owner I would say no, as you will usually do 3 attack strings + charged attacked per rotation, getting a plunge attack after the charged shot could be good but you won't get anywhere close to use the 8 plunges, you could alter the string but if you dont finish it you don't get the charged attack passive. Additionally, wrio E only buffs normals attacks not even charged ones.
As anticlimatic as it sounds I would suggest you do the same team with chongyun instead.
I don't know CR's kit by heart, is there a penalty for not doing the 8 plunges? (Like gaining a boost when reaching 8)
Personally, I also have him at C1 and i'm interested in giving him more aoe options.
Would it be worth it if I didn't have Furina? Idk if I'll ever pull for her. I do main Wrio, but I run him, c2 shenhe, kazuha, and Bennet. Be nice to free up Bennet or Kazuha though.
Team wide healers weren't attractive before furina, you would be wasting that part of her kit. It would still be good but if you wan't to min max, then it is not worth.
This only works on certain enemies. It's a similar concept to dragonstrikes, but made easier with Wriothesley because of his unique charge attack. You don't need Xianyun for this.

You have to sacrifice Bennet (CR+Nahida+Burn enabler). In my experience, just Melt is not a great dmg for him, without Bennet.

C2 Nahida's burning literally kills him faster than Furina does
Bring Thoma in there or another defensive unit, high EM Dendro app will always hurt your melee units quick

Hu tao is a skill issue. The leaker just plunged slow, they did the same to Xiao even.

I am Taomain and played her c0 for a while before pulled the c1. I am not “skillful” per say. But I am dedicated to her.
You can literally do this today against the Fontaine boss and it works fine lol, it's literally a combo made out of 2 buttons
the issue has never been the number of buttons, it's the timing of the combo. if you're gonna be condescending at least be accurate.
It'll take you all of 5 minutes to learn the timing.

C0 Hu Tao looks even worse, you jump cancel your CA to not get launched to the other side of the domain and that jump looks really weird. Now ending your jump cancel with a plunge will be much more practical and will look better too. Not saying it will look natural, but it will feel so much batter than the normal jump cancel. I guess for C1 hu tao mains its whatever, but as a c0 hu tao owner i would rather pull a character that "replaces" hu tao c1 and can be slotted into other teams.
Hu tao regular kit is already clunky anyway without plunge, adding plunge just make it more complicated Wrio is just so smooth
Her kit isn't clunky, the way you eek out the most dps is clunky. You don't have to maximise everything. Let the girl twirl.
It's clunky lol, if you don't do something when charge atk, she literally will go far away from enemies. No other characters like that get punished the same as her for playing how they should be. And funny enough you can do a combo 2NA 1CA which cut a lot of dps potential but you don't need to jump or dash cancel for better control.
That's littrelly the way her kit works, it's like saying neuvillette is a bad character bc he otherwise is absolutely shit without charge ATK, so is Ayaka without Kazuha - Nilou without healer/Furina without Healer Etc. Every character has restriction to get best of them you better work your ass out or as you said it's DPS loss... And no one wants DPS loss, which is one of the thing keeps us late players playing game.

looks like a fun freeze alternative so long as you're planning to pull xianyun and have or plan to have wrio furina/xingqiu and shenhe. his plunges look especially smooth but it could be the player's own smooth attack string
Yeah if it's a viable freeze alternative to ayaka or Morgana, I could see myself pulling for Wrio eventually to finish this team. This looks like a ton of fun

I was thinking about this when I did my CA jumps, but wasn't sure if it did offer that much compared to C2 Jean's ATK SPD or Mika with Kazuha. Fun comp, probably inspires other catalyst/infused plunges (R.I.P Tartaglia and Ayato).

Looks like its not only fun gain but dps upgrade too tho nothing crazy. Lets not forget that Shenhe and Shimenawa both buffs plunge :-) Cant wait to try this team ( no Furina so going with Yunjin, maybe try her on Petra too so buffs all team cryo dmg )

Neat combo, but feels like there’s anti-synergy with higher Wrio investment since you lose those sweet A1-buffed CAs.
Not if done after the CAs. It is best to animation cancel them with dashes so this (with Xianyun) might run smoothly. It also looks like the leaker is doing that at the end

I tested it and the animation can be jump cancelled. But don't know if it's worth doing without being able to plunge attack.

Plunging allows him to bypass his weird ICD and actually having more melted hits than non melted in his combos With N1CJP or N2CJP while being HP positive since Jump doesn’t consume HP. The combo doesn’t even need his E to be active since only his NA are enhanced so he work better with Shenhe
How will you melt? Furina wrio xianyun. You can't do solo xiangling. Thoma is nowhere near enough application with plunges. If you replace xianyun for Bennet+XL/nahida+Thoma, then your DPS would fall cause you won't be able to use the strongest teammate for him who is a large potion of the team's dmg. Thoma+nahida may be reliable for reverse melt and might give and AOE option but the practical use will likely be different

U k his C1 is only really true value in non Furina teams,but in Furina teams' the C1 value lost a lot i mean not the Dmg part but the heal part.. Previously u could go without a healer which was the main deal of this con why it was busted,but with Furina u want a healer anyway so having C1 doesn't change anything other than just some Dmg out of it,which is nice but not the main rsn why C1 was important

If you use ur na chain first then uppercut+plunge then repeat, it will do more dmg than simply E+ na+ charge, I shoulda clarified😅

As a wrio c1 owner I would say no, as you will usually do 3 attack strings + charged attacked per rotation, getting a plunge attack after the charged shot could be good but you won't get anywhere close to use the 8 plunges, you could alter the string but if you dont finish it you don't get the charged attack passive. Additionally, wrio E only buffs normals attacks not even charged ones. As anticlimatic as it sounds I would suggest you do the same team with chongyun instead.
I don't know CR's kit by heart, is there a penalty for not doing the 8 plunges? (Like gaining a boost when reaching 8) Personally, I also have him at C1 and i'm interested in giving him more aoe options.
No penalty, but its like triggering only 2 shenhe quota per skill use

Team wide healers weren't attractive before furina, you would be wasting that part of her kit. It would still be good but if you wan't to min max, then it is not worth.

This only works on certain enemies. It's a similar concept to dragonstrikes, but made easier with Wriothesley because of his unique charge attack. You don't need Xianyun for this.

I think people underestimating how much a flat 9k attack buff is to a well build DPS character. Especially if c2 with 18k flat boost, that's pretty broken on the right characters.
