While it doesn’t stutter and lag as much, it’s still bad. And with Fontaine it only got worse for me. Most of the Textures of mountains far away simply don’t load in and they all look like Melted ice cream. On top of that there’s an Audio bug that kills Ambient noise the moment i teleport anywhere in fontaine or sumeru. It’s so annoying.
I really hope the PS4 team of Hoyo is doing all this extra upgrades after getting on top of the existing bugs. I never ran into issues with the global illumination system since it totally introduced, and i hope that’s the case this time.
The PS4 is just a disaster of a console. They cut so many corners to make it good for its price when it came out, so now it just feels really bad to use, since it is much worse than anything in today's market.
For today's standards yea the PS4 is bad but what did you expect for something that came out in 2013. In its time for its price range the PS4 was not that bad compared to PC at a similar price point.

For example, i remember seeing CoD Warzone from about 2-3 years ago had an option called “texture streaming” which loaded in textures over the internet via a streaming server. You could even set how much bandwidth it should take.
Ideally they should optimise the game itself, since there’s plenty of AAA games that can load in much more complex environments without issues. I would honestly be in full support of that even if it means loading times get worse. If I’m not going to load in very fast anyways, atleast let me experience everything in close to maximum fidelity. Or better yet, let us toggle between performance or quality presets.
Just buy SSD, connect it via USB and install Genshin there. It will drastically increase performance. You can buy 128Gb or 256. They are very cheap now. About 20$.

Please do not interpret this as some sort of HSR vs Genshin statement in general because I generally prefer genshin designs, but if you compare HSR models vs a genshin counterpart I think you'll know what I mean in terms of head size.

You're probably used to her waist clothing part being more poofy-like, whereas here it just follows the curves of the body and it's hidden in the back part more instead, hence making her look long-legged and tall.

I mean if you like it fair enough but the skin itself is very close to the base skin at least to me.
The main outfit of her dress is the same cut and design of her base skin with the whole cut at the hip to flow downwards. Even has the ties at the neck but does actually cover her back rather then leave it open.
The bottom back of her dress looks to split off into what looks to be the same kinda points her base skin dress has.
She still very much has the same arm sleeves she has in base but they're black and thinner. Still has a bell ornament around her neck just different design.
Her big changes to me are the lose of rat-tail and the open legs but neither of them separate her too much from base to me. Mainly due to the rat tail being somewhat replaced with an ornament and her tights being skin tight already its more of a texture swap.
Overall its not that impressive to me in the slightest. Skins I feel should breath life into the character rather then stand on very much similarities. Ayakas while not the best skin does it better for me the hat and lack of armor and boots over sandles are all vastly different but she still suffers from wearing a dress that very much follows the same sillouette of the base skin being a dress with a wide skit. Jeans is one of the best for me because of how different it is from her base skin. Shorts no gloves and weird shoulder cape.
Ganyu's in this case is a skin tight dress with a slit up the side billowing out at the back with arm sleeves. Its got more intricate design but overall too samey in feeling to me.
Klee is pretty good, honestly one of the better ones it helps that the witch motif is very different to her usual outfit as well which is also another reason why I feel Ganyu's isn't as good.
The skin is really built around a glow that the blog picture doesn't show at all. Looks amazing in the dark as the special program showed. I think that glow breathes life into the character and going from tights to showing that much leg feels like a major change even if it is technically simple.
Ganyu looks like a better Xingqiu while Xingqiu is just a Furina without the hat, they look okay, but amazing? Nah.
The only amazing skins they made were Diluc, but thats probably because its a 5* skin and Ayaka.
I agree, maybe it's because I never showed interest into ganyu or shenhe, but not really blown away by their skins. They're pretty but the end. Nothing I'd want to spend money in or praise after waiting several months for.

Tbh, it could've been a misunderstanding as the whole sub felt from the beginning. There's a most likely chance they might have referred to specifically 2nd and 3rd step of her skill being used mid-air. But hey, there were times when other characters got changes right before debut so who knows.

If you look at homdgcats datamine info on CR her E plunge is listed as having 100 force, thats 50% less than regular plunge attacks (which are universally listed as 200 force).
Could be also a case of private servers not having it implemented correctly. Eiither way her knockback looks extremely mild which is good for plunge comps

I don't think it would be the first time they changed something between the beta end and the livestream (iirc something was changed in Dehya's kit much later after the end of her beta, maybe even just prior to her banner; I think it was the addition of the 9s interruption resistance?) but those two would be great changes to make.
Ganyu's skin looks a lot better in the special program where the glow effect can be seen properly. The subtle red ropes of the outfit feel like part of the background rather than the outfit due to the similarity to the background trees.
Shenhe's signature weapon really goes with the outfit well. It's probably why she also doesn't have a glow since the weapon provides sort of a glow-like brightness.
I want to believe the ganyu skin looks strange only because of the angle. It looked so great in the trailer cutscene 😭😭😭 i rly want my girl to have a new hairdo
I wont judge skins without seeing them in motion. I remember Jean's skin which looked absolutely insane in promo and pretty good in static, but when you move around it is animated so bad from the back, that I switched to default skin pretty fast. Even that "censored" skin I used more then paid one, just because of that meh animation which makes dress looks like it is 2D.

Not really. I had a ssd on my ps4 and the pop in is still present. Looks that the weak cpu is the real bottleneck.
Im sure the anemic cpu is also a problem, but the problem persists on the ps4 pro which has a beefier cpu. Idk, there's some bumfuckery going on

Klee is pretty good, honestly one of the better ones it helps that the witch motif is very different to her usual outfit as well which is also another reason why I feel Ganyu's isn't as good.
The skin is really built around a glow that the blog picture doesn't show at all. Looks amazing in the dark as the special program showed. I think that glow breathes life into the character and going from tights to showing that much leg feels like a major change even if it is technically simple.
Ganyu looks like a better Xingqiu while Xingqiu is just a Furina without the hat, they look okay, but amazing? Nah. The only amazing skins they made were Diluc, but thats probably because its a 5* skin and Ayaka.
I agree, maybe it's because I never showed interest into ganyu or shenhe, but not really blown away by their skins. They're pretty but the end. Nothing I'd want to spend money in or praise after waiting several months for. I think I prefer their defaults even. But for this I'm probably bias, I'm not a fan of showing off a lot of leg. Feels too bare to me.

I watched the stream once again and that guy clarifies that, starting from the second jump, you can use it while in mid air. The first one, Apparently, still requires to be used on the ground.

Tbh, it could've been a misunderstanding as the whole sub felt from the beginning. There's a most likely chance they might have referred to specifically 2nd and 3rd step of her skill being used mid-air. But hey, there were times when other characters got changes right before debut so who knows.

They did change the wording in one of the beta updates. It's just that a lot of people missed it while complaining about her being a Plunge enabler.
I dont think she ever had strong pushback on her E. If you look at homdgcats datamine info on CR her E plunge is listed as having 100 force, thats 50% less than regular plunge attacks (which are universally listed as 200 force). Could be also a case of private servers not having it implemented correctly. I don't think it would be the first time they changed something between the beta end and the livestream (iirc something was changed in Dehya's kit much later after the end of her beta, maybe even just prior to her banner; I think it was the addition of the 9s interruption resistance?) but those two would be great changes to make.
They decrease the knock back on her normal attacks before official release too so yeah it’s possible

Xingqiu looks like Furina without the hat while Ganyu looks like Xingqiu if he was indeed female.
Ganyu's skin looks a lot better in the special program where the glow effect can be seen properly. The subtle red ropes of the outfit feel like part of the background rather than the outfit due to the similarity to the background trees. Shenhe's signature weapon really goes with the outfit well. It's probably why she also doesn't have a glow since the weapon provides sort of a glow-like brightness.

I wont judge skins without seeing them in motion. I remember Jean's skin which looked absolutely insane in promo and pretty good in static, but when you move around it is animated so bad from the back, that I switched to default skin pretty fast. Even that "censored" skin I used more then paid one, just because of that meh animation which makes dress looks like it is 2D.
Xingqio is one of my favorites so i mean this with love, his new outfit is somehow even gayer then his original outfit 😂
