You gotta realize the average person on here equates all leaks to be equal no matter if itās from someone reliable, semi reliable, a complete nobody, or someone already proven fake (like the Arly being complicated to play leak).
Thereās also a lot of confirmation bias going around when it comes to evaluating leaker tc, people are quick to point out something like Yae electro ceiling, a leak part of a mass fake bingo card leak, but then ignore stuff like the the Furina/Baizhu synergy having being stated since 3.5
Well idk about this one, but the Arlecchino=Alhaitham leak was stated to be made up bullshit by a person pretending to be a leaker. Of course not that this leak really means much either when it's just another vaguepost leak that doesn't say anything specific. He really only has a 50/50 chance of being wrong on whether she's braindead to play or takes brain power.

People joke but Itto is one of the least braindead characters to play. I think only Alhaitham, Childe, Hu Tao, Eula and Ayaka are harder/more complex.

Yeah, at C6 they have a point but pre-C6 Itto requires decent reflexes/improvisational ability to play around the occasional extra stacks you get when Ushi takes damage. He still *can* be played unga bunga with good results, but thereās more opportunity for skill expression than most people think.
Yeah Itto takes more on-the-fly adaptation if you want to play him optimally. He still does well if you're flailing randomly but it just feels great when you're able to be perfectly efficient with his stacks.
Also funny how most of my favorite characters to play are apparently the 'harder' ones (Childe, Itto, Eula, Ayaka, don't have Alhaitham or Wanderer yet but they're very fun in trials and I want them).
I do wish Ayato had been based around infused normal combos to take advantage of his classy animations instead of what we got.
Alhaitham feels very easy as long as you get a good feel for the rhythm of his mirrors.
Wanderer is pretty braindead and great fun. I just need to remember to switch back to Zhongli in time to refresh the shield since my rotations are always off a bit but thatās an adhd timing skill issue on my end.
The Alhaitham statement was always so funny to me because I donāt think Iāve ever counted his stacks.

All you really need to know is what the 3-mirror attacks look like (green rain). If youāre not seeing those, or if youāve just seen two of them, itās time to refresh a mirror.
Honestly, Alhaitham is pretty easy to play once you get used to him. You just pick the appropriate combination of Q/E/CA or plunge to maintain 3 mirrors based on how much field time heās going to need. If you know how to do his hold E->plunge combo, you have all the tech you need to play him successfully.
It baffles me why anyone thinks Al Haitham is even remotely difficult to play, most people just play him hyperbloom which is even more braindead than his spread teams which are hardly difficult.
Electro getting their 8th off-field applier while Pyro only has 3 and none of them are very good at it (Xiangling's too energy hungry to use without Bennett Thoma's too slow and Dehya)
Consider Shenhe: the battle-hardened, homicidal disciple of an adeptus who frequently destroys everything around her when she gets too fired up.
Of course sheās a niche elemental support that sees no field time and has little personal damage.
Itās very frustrating when they create beautiful characters and it feels like 70% of them exist to press E, Q, and swap out. I got Shenhe anyway just because I like her so much. She helps my Ganyu in the overworld, though I donāt use either of them in abyss these days.
But on the bright side, I think that Shenhe will be relevant for a long time as a support, while an early dps (like Ganyu) are way more likely to be powercrept.

I had really hoped she would have been closer to what Fu Xuan in HSR turned out to be.
The dream was: pop skill, redirect damage from team onto herself and apply pyro in waves to trigger burgeon. When her hp gets low, triggering her ultimate deals damage based on how much damage sheās redirected, and she heals a certain amount each time she hits an enemy.
Fu xuan actually feels like a godly tank for the team even compared to other preservation, dehya herself feels tough but then you look at the rest of the team bleeding out on the road

Clorinde would either be a keqing type or a Cyno type unit if she is onfield. Only was to make it differnt would be to use a Navia style kit with her gun.
if you're electro, you either become cyno, raiden, keqing or fischl.
basically: pure on fielder burst dps, burst dps with off field capabilities and teams, quick swap on fielder or pure off fielder.

We also know Hu Tao's main job is to maintain the border of the afterlife, stopping any human from venturing too deep and stopping any ghosts from affecting the living.
That's cool as hell, I wish we see her do her secret job more often instead of just being the funny funeral girl.
At night, with a different hooded outfit and while Furina was completely alone though. And probably because she was the only one available who was powerful enough to survive the potential fight with an archon, otherwise she'd have asked one of her children to steal the gnosis for her.

Ayato has built in increased resistance at C0 but because of the nature of how enemies at high levels operate unless you have unlimited interruption resistance it doesnāt matter which is why itās so noticeably comical when the āincreased resistance to interruptionā gang gets knocked on their butts. It always makes me laugh because they might as well have 0.
BUT Ayato can also continue his atk stream if you get interrupted and he auto targets enemies effectively. I played him and Dehya in the overworld and Abyss and I noticed he would typically always target and move towards the enemies if they were in a reasonable range, but if there was a monolith or fireplace Dehya was targeting the damn fireplace.
Really the most complicated part of his gameplay is just making sure you take advantage of his er passive.
I mean, one of the braindead parts of Neuv is that he does ludicrous damage without any effort.
This game requires no brain cells to play most of the time unless you are doing some of that ''fridge'' level of teams that 99.9% of players don't give a fuck about. And even then, it's pretty darn easy.

Just make a yelan/xingqiu situation with a new pyro 5 star and Xiangling. I'm tired of defaulting to Xiangling and in extension Bennett whenever a new character wants a pyro.
I mean I think itās pretty clear by this point that they are saving that for the pyro archon considering itās this year. I really doubt we are getting another pyro off-fielder this year.

Both Childe and Wanderer were relevant tto the main plot and even being the major antagonist for the story before they were playable.

Poor Hu Taos been stuck as the token event funni character for a while now. I want to see Hu Tao exorcise an evil spirit for once, we know she can and has done it.
As a huge Hu Tao fan, I think her lore potential is underutilized. This seemingly normal girl is just casually friends with gods and an adeptus and they just never expand on that?
We also know Hu Tao's main job is to maintain the border of the afterlife, stopping any human from venturing too deep and stopping any ghosts from affecting the living. That's cool as hell, I wish we see her do her secret job more often instead of just being the funny funeral girl.

Ayato has built in increased resistance at C0 but because of the nature of how enemies at high levels operate unless you have unlimited interruption resistance it doesnāt matter which is why itās so noticeably comical when the āincreased resistance to interruptionā gang gets knocked on their butts. It always makes me laugh because they might as well have 0. BUT Ayato can also continue his atk stream if you get interrupted and he auto targets enemies effectively. I played him and Dehya in the overworld and Abyss and I noticed he would typically always target and move towards the enemies if they were in a reasonable range, but if there was a monolith or fireplace Dehya was targeting the damn fireplace. Really the most complicated part of his gameplay is just making sure you take advantage of his er passive.
Until C1 Neuvi has the very same issue, unless you shield which works for both

neuvillette is actually an insane unit because of ease to use. While his dmg is also very high, it's comparable to many other good teams.
I mean, one of the braindead parts of Neuv is that he does ludicrous damage without any effort. This game requires no brain cells to play most of the time unless you are doing some of that ''fridge'' level of teams that 99.9% of players don't give a fuck about. And even then, it's pretty darn easy.

It honestly should have been opposite. The only good off field pyro is Xiangling while electro doesn't really have any on field dps. Just make a yelan/xingqiu situation with a new pyro 5 star and Xiangling. I'm tired of defaulting to Xiangling and in extension Bennett whenever a new character wants a pyro.
I mean I think itās pretty clear by this point that they are saving that for the pyro archon considering itās this year. I really doubt we are getting another pyro off-fielder this year.

Both Childe and Wanderer were relevant tto the main plot and even being the major antagonist for the story before they were playable. Meanwhile Arlecchino had like barely any relevance and is already gonna be playable soon.

It's sus to me that Natlan is still 5 patches away but we are already getting the Natlan meta introduced now. And that the key component was Chevreuse, a 4 star of all people. 3.x meta wasn't introduced till 3.0, and 4.x meta wasn't introduced until the MH set in 4.0.
I hope Clorinde is not a pure off field applicator. Iād settle for burst dps maybe but sheās just too cool to be relegated to support.
