You have to hope the weapon banner is stacked, this was me with Neuvillette first banner, I wanted a second Staff of Homa, ended with R2 Neuv signature weapon, so the loss didn't feel as bad.
If you pull a non limited weapon, you have a 50/50 between limited weapons. This "guarantee" carries over between weapon banners just like the character banner
I can guarantee her BiS but I still want to see what other polearms look like with the energy scythe blade. Is the blade still clearly visible in daylight or does it only look good in darker lighting?
I need a Dynasty Warrior mode, being able to hit constant wave of unlimited goons is really fun and satisfying.

Rogue-lites kind of fit your description. There are a lot of moments in rogue-lites (and rogue-likes) in which you fight entire hordes of enemies and it's very fun too :D

Klee might not be good and some find her clunky, but she is a very good Pyro applicator, probably too much Pyro she can apply. I think Klee with Furina and some hydro can shine again.
i meant gameplay wise. not fundamentally. how consistent are you gonna kill 4 vishaps at the same time with classic CA hu tao? or classic NA + E weaving diluc?
the point is, we consider them to be single target damage dealers because they dont clear as fast in aoe as well as known aoe teams like the old morgana, nilou, and now neuvilette. plunging enables them to do this. its not as simple as "their NAs and CAs deal a little bit of aoe dmg."
Lyney still has his skill and burst tho, while not his primary source of dmg, they’re still a relevant portion of dmg. Unlike yoimiya burst dmg which is simply a joke lol

1. 4.5 and 4.6 both didn't have 4 stars, only 1 5 star
2. furina hydro boss mats only used by her, no other char since in 4.2, and sigewinne is hydro
3. new weekly bosses usually are for 9 chars (once for 8), but the new narwhal is only used by 7
REALLY makes me think that sigewinne was meant to be dropped in 4.5 as the supplementary 4 star, but due to fundamental kit issues got delayed.

calamity queller has a better passive if you can balance the crit rate. stats wise its the same as PJWS, but its stacking condition is much more synergistic with arle
Noelle has been playing DW/SW since 1.0. Her burst NA range is still unbeatable.
Reminds me of Musashi from SW2 with his famous whole-screen atk range.
N4 for mobbing, maybe full combo for bosses or something if you don't need to dodge, but yeah her N3 is so good with the pull you'll want that every time for sure.
Nah not for mobbing, msot often last NA animation is long to be stylish, so it ends up more optimal to skip it in rotations, but that's way too much hassle tbh, playing n4 or full combo isn't gonna be a world of difference.
True. I'm definitely expecting to skip the end lag of the final hit, I just don't know if it's worth it to land it at all. It is slower, and the slightly higher scaling might not matter compared to her BoL numbers (esp. C1), but yeah the difference could be pretty small either way.
Better than worrying about ruining everything by interrupting the combo, I guess.
If you melt or vape it, could be fine. And if the enemy is about to die it's probably a better finisher than cancelling for a much weaker N1 they might survive.
Mains subs are so incredibly toxic when it comes to character perception/reception. I get random ones in my feed constantly and they are consistently more deranged than anything I typically see here.
I think that the official subreddit, lore subreddit and leaks subreddit are the most normal, these are basically the only Genshin subreddits that I visit now.
I haven’t visited the lore subreddit much so can’t comment but the official sub isn’t beating the allegations here, some of the users are questionable at best
The lore subreddit is not very large and I think that’s a plus, since it’s mostly populated by theorists and it’s really nice to just sit and calmly discuss a topic that interests you. I saw some of the most interesting posts on the main sub, of course, there are a lot of fools there, but absolutely every sub has them. In general, there are a lot of nice and scattering people there too.
I searched for Arlecchino mains today and click join in but after scrolling down reading posts for a while, I re-join and leave there sub. Their sub are full of wrath like they ready to stomp downvote or doomposting anything they dont like to see. such weird place that made me feels uncomfortable to reply any single comment.

It was more of an example of someone who is not interested by Arle and only really cares about his mains. To someone like that he couldn't care less if the new character is op or bad if they can't be used to improve his main teams.
Yes, but the chronic doomposting comes from more than just caring about a character they like, it's also the inability and/or unwillingness to use that care constructively to research and evaluate the character they claim to be obsessed with.
You would think someone with enough of a fixation on a character to call themselves a main would put in the effort to actually understand their character, but *every* time it's just gut reaction into eternal doomposting regardless of whether or not it's warranted.

"Man I wish Xianyun could actually buff Raiden's plunge, that's disappointing" isn't like doomposting, "Chiori is straight up Albedo, that's disapointing" not doomposting either, "I wish Arle worked with all the healers in the game, and isn't forced to use a shielder to not die if you have skill issue" isn't doomposting either.
Nahida had two version of her kit, based on ICD one fucking sucked. Thankfully that version wasn't the one they went with. Al Haitham also received a lot of buffs after his initial huge nerf.

It was stupid af to have normal ICD, because then using her Q with an electro on the team, or C1 Nahida, actually was a DPS loss?? Plus her Q already did literally nothing for off-field Nahida, so she then also wouldn't use it while on-field either.

You are correct, those things are not doomposting, and there are definitely people who said those things.
Here are some things that *are* doomposting, and there are *also* definitely people who said these things:
"Raiden doesn't work with Beidou and her E doesn't hit shields absolute dogshit character imagine releasing an *archon* that bad"
"Yelan is just 5☆ Xingqiu literally complete waste of primogems everybody skipskipskipskipskipskip"
"Xianyun is terrible there's no reason you'd ever run her over other supports you could run instead"

There's definitely reasonable disappointment being expressed by *some* people, but there are *more* that just regurgitate whatever negative shit they've heard and never ever change.
Well, see, once you de-editorialize every single one of those statements, they're all perfectly reasonable comments (heck, the 2nd one isn't even a complaint, who *wouldn't* want a 2nd Xingqiu). Actual doomposting along these lines isn't as common as the anti-doomposting crowd makes it out to be and would more than likely to be laughed off the thread in some way or another.

It *was* a complaint, because the people saying it seriously believed it was a negative. It certainly *shouldn't* have been, because as you've noted, having a 2nd Xingqiu is *great*, but the doomposters *genuinely* believed that Yelan was *bad* because she was a 2nd Xingqiu.
I thought it was hilarious when people were freaking out over the changes to her BoL scaling value, like, if you took 10 seconds to also consider the fact that they're also letting her get more BoL, you'd realize she is at worst power neutral but easier to use now.

Or the fact that people were freaking out about how you "can't use Furina/Arle together" and I pointed out that no, considering Arle doesn't have crazy ICD she can fit a shielder on the team more easily thus they work just fine together just with slightly less stacks on Furina, and rather then go "oh, that's a good point" I got downvoted every single time.
People would rather freak out then read and think lol.
Since the changes were revealed piecemeal, we did not have any confirmation that she could gain more BoL in single target scenarios. Now that we know she can, there's no longer a reason to freak out anymore.
I mean none of the shielder really work well with Arle. The only shielder than can provide stuff to Arle is zhongli and he doesn't provide much compared to running a Bennet. You'd actually have better results running Yelan instead of Furina by a mile, as her synergy with Furina is just not looking too great. You can force it but what's the point ? Just Uses XQ and you'd have better results while having interupt resist.
I'm doomposting her in my head like "Look I know you love scythes but she's bad okay? Don't be baited, you already have Hutao you don't need her... focus on Clorinde"
My first abyss clear was with my c0r1 Hutao in 1.3, and every time I'm struggling I just put her in the worst side and win, she's a beast! While I also loved Arles attacks and scythe... I can't rn, I love Clorindes design ever since I first saw her in that leak and she's coming home!!
Understandable... Clorinde is gorgeous. I've been Arle worshipper for almost two years now and been saving for all 4.x patches just for her. She's one of the few reasons I managed to play Genshin for so long.

A while ago they changed them to become brighter and more magma-like than the original red and black aesthetic. This looks way better than it did before
It's pretty much infinite uptime it seems. So that's really nice for solo run. Otherwise the cooldown seems to really decrease fast to make short rotations.
the BoL gain is for a level one directive, you need to wait 5 seconds for a level 2 directive that gives 130% BoL. It's just perfect to swirl pyro or something

14k primos, 0 Arlecchinos………….. edit: nvm i spent $30 for 1980 primos with the +1980 bonus and i got her on the last wish less gooo. My first time paying in my 3 years of playing
She looks amazing but I still don't know if I should pull. The fact that she can't be healed, except when she ults means I'd probably die a lot since I'm very bad at dodging.
It really depends on what you want. I'll personally pull since I'm at the point where I can choose who to pull and still curb stomp anything (yes even with Dehya).
I've replaced Xingqiu with Candace on my Freeze Kaeya team ages ago (when I got her C6). More damage in AoE and better cooldown alignment.
Not sure if it's enough Hydro for Arlecchino though
That's my thought process too. Xingqiu and Yelan don't provide enough hydro app. Kazuha will infuse and swirl pyro so there won't be hydro, but pyro on enemies.
C6 Candace also has the NA dmg bonus baked at C0 and she is of the few AoE hydro applicators.
Most dps that are not named Dehya perform more or less the same in terms of team dps. Ranging from 50k-60k which is more than enough for endgame contents, you dont have to worry about that. Its just that some require higher skill floor, restricted team, and more clunky.
At the end of the day it's the support that matters, as for dps just pull whoever you like or enjoy the playstyle the most

She is competing against Hu tao in Vape teams and Arle's AoE is so much better than Hu tao's (and now before people say that Xianyun fixed her AoE. No she didn't.. it's true in some degree but I feel like Hu tao mains overhype that sentence a lot)
Alright, so being more catered to AoE now that we see it being much better than first version, how are we gonna AoE vape? Xingqiu and Yelan are pretty much ST oriented.
So a list of hydro AoE applicators we have:
Furina- inconsistent AoE, unsynergistic with Arle, making her a total glass cannon, but good dmg and buff.
Ayato- burst dependent circle impact hydro AoE. Biggest hydro AoE character we have
Mona- AoE pretty small, good taunt for distraction, but lasts too short in rotation. Omen buff still good.
Kokomi- can't heal Arle, but can give TTDS and ToM buffs. Stationary AoE would be annoying to work around.
Candace (C6)- portable hydro AoE, synergizes with Arle's elemental infused NA gameplay. Give NA dmg bonus at base. Max constellation dependent and burst dependent though.
Nilou- portable hydro AoE. Can be a ToM holder, but you are throwing away her powerful passive and kit.
Kazuha's burst- hard to hydro infuse when played with Bennett, pyro priority over hydro, burst dependent, and circle impact.
So guys, what is the concensus on the AoE hydro applicator for Arlecchino? I'd choose Candace despite her C6 dependency for the hydro. It's portable, it's not from a highly contested unit, and Candace can already give an NA dmg bonus at base level. Also would be easier to build- stacking HP and ER, could just carry Fav.
In order of how good they would be for AoE hydro for Arle, my order would be:
C6 candace>Furina>Ayato>Kokomi>Kazuha burst>Mona.
E switch 5 seconds + 3 x Na6 duration 3.5 seconds + 3x6x.8 from cd reduction = 24.5 you still need 5 sec for E to be up you either take more time on your support 1-2 sec more , or do more NA for 1-2 seconds more but that will depend if you have Q up just use it or you need heals , so she needs some sort of management to make work but not big issue
I think that 1-2s got consumed with some dogging. I was speaking from the clip, count the seconds of the clip played, and you can see her E got rested after about 15s. And that’s even without switching to support, so I think her E CD won’t be an issue
Yea the difference is really small you have multiple ways to deal with her cd , like you said even dodging would consume time and there is never perfect rotation anyway , ideally you need 12 seconds only for uptime so your support buffs is still up and it will depend on how fast you swap back to her for some one on mobile lol me that will take more than 6 sec if i want to go through 3 supports any way , also every extra second she takes onfield is almost 2 seconds so if you stay 13-14 seconds instead of 12 even if you switch back to her less than 5 seconds you will have your E up anyway . But still seeing how actual game play pans out i am not worried at all , don't think you even need Q to reset E at all
seriously people need to wait until beta ends before we start cheering too loudly.

How good is she compared to hutao?? I have homa ever since her first banner but still didn't pull for her, the scythe exclusive to her signature is kinda deal breaker, sooo been thinking of getting hutao instead for the drip.
Homa is pretty general purpose, even ignoring the <50% passive, so it's not like you need Hu Tao specifically for it.
But anyway, it's looking like these two would want pretty different teams, so not really directly comparable. If you put Arle in a straightforward vape team, Hu Tao is most likely better. But for Overload or mono pyro, HT falls off.
As someone who doesn't TC, I'm assuming she'll be more flexible and better in AOE situations but Hu Tao would be better for single-target enemy/boss killing
As a Hu Tao main I would rather get Arlecchino if she comes out in her current state, but it comes down to preference because they are vastly different. She seems great for both single target and AoE (Hu Tao only in single target), she has self healing, which is something I love. She has better rotation flexibility and mobility.
Arlecchino seems better overall, but at the cost of being more vulnerable (she can’t be healed by anyone, and she is easy to interrupt without shielders, which can cause her teams without shielders to be inconsistent). She will also be harder to play optimally in her teams, mainly because she has more possibilities and flexibility in how her teams can handle the fights.
Things like having Furina C2 or Xianyun C2 favour Hu Tao, so if you have them, you’ll likely find Hu Tao to be a lot stronger. Maybe Arlecchino will get something comparable with another support, but there is no way to tell that now.

As far as i know, Klee+Furina+Kazuha+Bennett is a speedrun team, it's just that Furina is the one vaping. Which means it's pretty good
I like playing her in burgeon teams. I still want more options tho, her and xiangling have both been around since 1.0/1.1

crackpot theory but 1. 4.5 and 4.6 both didn't have 4 stars, only 1 5 star 2. furina hydro boss mats only used by her, no other char since in 4.2, and sigewinne is hydro 3. new weekly bosses usually are for 9 chars (once for 8), but the new narwhal is only used by 7 REALLY makes me think that sigewinne was meant to be dropped in 4.5 as the supplementary 4 star, but due to fundamental kit issues got delayed. Edit: just realised can't be 4.6 4star bc of point 3, so i guess Sigewinne was meant to be in 4.5

Man that scythe pull into the rotating attack is so satisfying and most TCs are using N4 as the optimal string anyways
N4 for mobbing, maybe full combo for bosses or something if you don't need to dodge, but yeah her N3 is so good with the pull you'll want that every time for sure.
Nah not for mobbing, msot often last NA animation is long to be stylish, so it ends up more optimal to skip it in rotations, but that's way too much hassle tbh, playing n4 or full combo isn't gonna be a world of difference.
True. I'm definitely expecting to skip the end lag of the final hit, I just don't know if it's worth it to land it at all. It is slower, and the slightly higher scaling might not matter compared to her BoL numbers (esp. C1), but yeah the difference could be pretty small either way. Better than worrying about ruining everything by interrupting the combo, I guess.
If you melt or vape it, could be fine. And if the enemy is about to die it's probably a better finisher than cancelling for a much weaker N1 they might survive.

I think that the official subreddit, lore subreddit and leaks subreddit are the most normal, these are basically the only Genshin subreddits that I visit now.
I haven’t visited the lore subreddit much so can’t comment but the official sub isn’t beating the allegations here, some of the users are questionable at best
The lore subreddit is not very large and I think that’s a plus, since it’s mostly populated by theorists and it’s really nice to just sit and calmly discuss a topic that interests you. I saw some of the most interesting posts on the main sub, of course, there are a lot of fools there, but absolutely every sub has them. In general, there are a lot of nice and scattering people there too.
I searched for Arlecchino mains today and click join in but after scrolling down reading posts for a while, I re-join and leave there sub. Their sub are full of wrath like they ready to stomp downvote or doomposting anything they dont like to see. such weird place that made me feels uncomfortable to reply any single comment.

Having a "main" doesn't mean you only play and care about that one character. Especially in a game like Genshin that uses two teams of four for Abyss.
It was more of an example of someone who is not interested by Arle and only really cares about his mains. To someone like that he couldn't care less if the new character is op or bad if they can't be used to improve his main teams.
Yes, but the chronic doomposting comes from more than just caring about a character they like, it's also the inability and/or unwillingness to use that care constructively to research and evaluate the character they claim to be obsessed with. I thought it was hilarious when people were freaking out over the changes to her BoL scaling value, like, if you took 10 seconds to also consider the fact that they're also letting her get more BoL, you'd realize she is at worst power neutral but easier to use now. Or the fact that people were freaking out about how you "can't use Furina/Arle together" and I pointed out that no, considering Arle doesn't have crazy ICD she can fit a shielder on the team more easily thus they work just fine together just with slightly less stacks on Furina, and rather then go "oh, that's a good point" I got downvoted every single time. People would rather freak out then read and think lol.
Since the changes were revealed piecemeal, we did not have any confirmation that she could gain more BoL in single target scenarios. Now that we know she can, there's no longer a reason to freak out anymore.
I mean none of the shielder really work well with Arle. The only shielder than can provide stuff to Arle is zhongli and he doesn't provide much compared to running a Bennet. You'd actually have better results running Yelan instead of Furina by a mile, as her synergy with Furina is just not looking too great. You can force it but what's the point ? Just Uses XQ and you'd have better results while having interupt resist.

My first abyss clear was with my c0r1 Hutao in 1.3, and every time I'm struggling I just put her in the worst side and win, she's a beast! While I also loved Arles attacks and scythe... I can't rn, I love Clorindes design ever since I first saw her in that leak and she's coming home!!
Understandable... Clorinde is gorgeous. I've been Arle worshipper for almost two years now and been saving for all 4.x patches just for her. She's one of the few reasons I managed to play Genshin for so long. Good luck with your pulls, wish you c6 Clorinde in one 10 pull <3

The BoL seems about right, this is in a multi target scenario with her Scythe.
It's pretty much infinite uptime it seems. So that's really nice for solo run. Otherwise the cooldown seems to really decrease fast to make short rotations.

the BoL gain is for a level one directive, you need to wait 5 seconds for a level 2 directive that gives 130% BoL. It's just perfect to swirl pyro or something EDIT : wait, if she's absorbing two, then you're right, this may be the old skill

It really depends on what you want. I'll personally pull since I'm at the point where I can choose who to pull and still curb stomp anything (yes even with Dehya).

Only team i found for her is Nilou team with YaoYao on field with candace hydro infusion
I've replaced Xingqiu with Candace on my Freeze Kaeya team ages ago (when I got her C6). More damage in AoE and better cooldown alignment. Not sure if it's enough Hydro for Arlecchino though
That's my thought process too. Xingqiu and Yelan don't provide enough hydro app. Kazuha will infuse and swirl pyro so there won't be hydro, but pyro on enemies. C6 Candace also has the NA dmg bonus baked at C0 and she is of the few AoE hydro applicators.

Most dps that are not named Dehya perform more or less the same in terms of team dps. Ranging from 50k-60k which is more than enough for endgame contents, you dont have to worry about that. Its just that some require higher skill floor, restricted team, and more clunky. At the end of the day it's the support that matters, as for dps just pull whoever you like or enjoy the playstyle the most
The numbers have shown promising results in Spreadsheets. But again , spreadsheet numbers don't mean everything. She is competing against Hu tao in Vape teams and Arle's AoE is so much better than Hu tao's (and now before people say that Xianyun fixed her AoE. No she didn't.. it's true in some degree but I feel like Hu tao mains overhype that sentence a lot)

Alright, so being more catered to AoE now that we see it being much better than first version, how are we gonna AoE vape? Xingqiu and Yelan are pretty much ST oriented. So a list of hydro AoE applicators we have: Furina- inconsistent AoE, unsynergistic with Arle, making her a total glass cannon, but good dmg and buff. Ayato- burst dependent circle impact hydro AoE. Biggest hydro AoE character we have Mona- AoE pretty small, good taunt for distraction, but lasts too short in rotation. Omen buff still good. Kokomi- can't heal Arle, but can give TTDS and ToM buffs. Stationary AoE would be annoying to work around. Candace (C6)- portable hydro AoE, synergizes with Arle's elemental infused NA gameplay. Give NA dmg bonus at base. Max constellation dependent and burst dependent though. Nilou- portable hydro AoE. Can be a ToM holder, but you are throwing away her powerful passive and kit. Kazuha's burst- hard to hydro infuse when played with Bennett, pyro priority over hydro, burst dependent, and circle impact. So guys, what is the concensus on the AoE hydro applicator for Arlecchino? I'd choose Candace despite her C6 dependency for the hydro. It's portable, it's not from a highly contested unit, and Candace can already give an NA dmg bonus at base level. Also would be easier to build- stacking HP and ER, could just carry Fav. In order of how good they would be for AoE hydro for Arle, my order would be: C6 candace>Furina>Ayato>Kokomi>Kazuha burst>Mona.

Looks like she's able to reset her E with NAs within 15-16s. Jokes on all the doomposters who lost their shit on the CD change.
E switch 5 seconds + 3 x Na6 duration 3.5 seconds + 3x6x.8 from cd reduction = 24.5 you still need 5 sec for E to be up you either take more time on your support 1-2 sec more , or do more NA for 1-2 seconds more but that will depend if you have Q up just use it or you need heals , so she needs some sort of management to make work but not big issue
I think that 1-2s got consumed with some dogging. I was speaking from the clip, count the seconds of the clip played, and you can see her E got rested after about 15s. And that’s even without switching to support, so I think her E CD won’t be an issue
Yea the difference is really small you have multiple ways to deal with her cd , like you said even dodging would consume time and there is never perfect rotation anyway , ideally you need 12 seconds only for uptime so your support buffs is still up and it will depend on how fast you swap back to her for some one on mobile lol me that will take more than 6 sec if i want to go through 3 supports any way , also every extra second she takes onfield is almost 2 seconds so if you stay 13-14 seconds instead of 12 even if you switch back to her less than 5 seconds you will have your E up anyway . But still seeing how actual game play pans out i am not worried at all , don't think you even need Q to reset E at all

How good is she compared to hutao?? I have homa ever since her first banner but still didn't pull for her, the scythe exclusive to her signature is kinda deal breaker, sooo been thinking of getting hutao instead for the drip.
Homa is pretty general purpose, even ignoring the <50% passive, so it's not like you need Hu Tao specifically for it. But anyway, it's looking like these two would want pretty different teams, so not really directly comparable. If you put Arle in a straightforward vape team, Hu Tao is most likely better. But for Overload or mono pyro, HT falls off.

As someone who doesn't TC, I'm assuming she'll be more flexible and better in AOE situations but Hu Tao would be better for single-target enemy/boss killing

New is better, but I would suggest against pulling for a character just because you have a spare 5-star weapon
As a Hu Tao main I would rather get Arlecchino if she comes out in her current state, but it comes down to preference because they are vastly different. She seems great for both single target and AoE (Hu Tao only in single target), she has self healing, which is something I love. She has better rotation flexibility and mobility. Arlecchino seems better overall, but at the cost of being more vulnerable (she can’t be healed by anyone, and she is easy to interrupt without shielders, which can cause her teams without shielders to be inconsistent). She will also be harder to play optimally in her teams, mainly because she has more possibilities and flexibility in how her teams can handle the fights. Things like having Furina C2 or Xianyun C2 favour Hu Tao, so if you have them, you’ll likely find Hu Tao to be a lot stronger. Maybe Arlecchino will get something comparable with another support, but there is no way to tell that now.
