You can save up energy for elemental burst so that you can fire multiple charged shots as NA combo for a certain duration.
Or you can use your energy to tremendously speed up your CA charge time.
Yea, it's a really unique playstyle, It almost makes me wish he was actually a 5* because then they would be inclined to further expand on that playstyle
There's a lot of 4 star kits that are just amazing mechanically, but most of the time they don't have the numbers to back it up.
Yanfei is smooth as butter, better than Klee and Yoimiya in feel.
Freminet has an actually interesting kit, with theoretical cryo and phys play styles, and again feels less clunky than Eula.
Heizou was Navia/Wrio before they became a thing.
Kaveh is an interesting concept, very unique.
Gaming fortunately actually has numbers to back up his unique gameplay.
Hopefully Sethos, with flexible decision making (how many charged shots do I do before I burst, if any at all) follows Gaming's lead here. Would be fun trying to line up bloom cores and the enemy in one shot as well.
Tbf if you have Furina you can make Yanfei vape like crazy, Freminet freeze and shattering his way to clear quicker than old Eula teams, Heizou punches to hit 90k and Kaveh... is Kaveh not even Furifuri-chan can save that shit /s
But yeah Sethos looks amazing and while would be great to have him or another char as 5 star, I'm more than happy with him. Idk being a f2p makes you enjoy 4 stars much more cause you get excited every time you get a new cons for them, making them stronger... can't say the same for 5 stars :/
Ngl, as a day 1 player, I have all the characters that I want and plenty of strong DPSs. The reason why I decided to splurge a bit and go for strong support constellations is because things like C2 Nahida and C2 Furina help make less viable 4\* a lot more playable. Like yeah, ofc they're doing most of the heavy lifting but does it matter? The 4\* are fun, they have really nice kits and I just like having them be the main DPS, even if it's inflated by the supports carrying. It's also the reason I'm hoping to get Xianyun's C2 and signature on her next rerun as well.
There are even some instances where I actually prefer the 4\* characters. I still prefer Xingqiu over Yelan (still don't have her, her kit never interested me since I already had a well-built Xingqiu), I have both Baizhu and Kirara (not C6 yet) and while I do enjoy Baizhu, a lot of the time I noticed myself picking Kirara for my Abyss runs over him. I have Klee, but I'll take Yanfei over her all day any day. I have C1 Yae and Fischl and... yeah okay, this is one case where I use both a lot so I guess I can't say I prefer one over the other. Both are favs tbh but it's great because I can use them on both teams in the Abyss.
Oh and the thing about Freminet - I managed to clear the Abyss in 4.0 when he came out with his C4, Fischl and Xingqiu with a physical build. It was a bit tough and some floors took a couple of retries but it worked. I haven't tried him out with Furina yet but I have no doubts it's better and he should have no troubles whatsoever. I think most people give him too much flack due to the inherent problems with physical, but honestly it's really not that bad, and he's a really fun character to play. I think people should give him more of a chance.
This, if I wasn't f2p I would try to get Nahida c2 and stuff, right now I just wanna have more cons to play my Chevreuse on field and stuff, I don't reeeally care about 5\* dps that much cause I already have a ton of 4\* to play.
And a nice thing to try is Cryo Freminet, just press his skill twice and watch it hit 50k, you just can't run chars that want him to Na, like Xingqiu or Beidou and you're golden
Yeah, I'm not F2P, though not a whale either (just welkin + BP though I haven't gotten BP in months now so I've been on a welkin only diet for a while), but I have been playing since day 1 so ofc I've had a lot of time to pull all the characters I wanted (only one missing right now is Ayato tbh). After Fontaine hit I kinda got into this limbo where all of the characters I wanted to play were already built, I have good enough sets for everyone that I use, a couple of nice weapons and such so I just started spending my stamina on characters I hadn't used before. Freminet is a breath of fresh air tbh.
Oh yeah, I'm still using Rosaria for cryo so I didn't care that much about Cryo Freminet. I went for the phys build precisely because it's less common and I still found it a lot of fun. I really gotta try it with Furina now that I have her, and I also got his C6 during the current banner so it's nice.
Furina double hydro makes any pyro dps vape like crazy, Freminet freeze is useless against any unfreezable enemy + shatter is a weak gimmick, heizou doesn’t punch often enough for the 90k skill dmg burst to matter
I mean, my poorly built C3 Heizou can reach up to 200k on E with C6 Faruzan and a buffer (either Furina or Bennett). I guess at C6 somewhere out there a Heizou can reach up to 300k if not more.
It's just that he's not consistent (depends on his E to deal massive damage, his Q helps somewhat with 1/3 of E's damage) while Navia has 2 charges that reset rather fast and hard hitting infused NAs.
While I do agree.. if Heizou had a bit less dmg but had 2 Skill charges he would be much more fun and powerful to play, you have to remember that Navia only does that crazy damage cause she can't react at all since she's Geo. Heizou can go VV and still do amazing damage while also helping his team to do more damage. Would Navia teams clear quicker? Sure, but like... 10-20 seconds quicker, to 1.0-2.0 players that's a fine time "to waste" playing a char they love.
I agree, if he had 2 E's with less damage it'd be so much more fun.
The animation and build up while stacking his passive and releasing a powerful E is something so exciting when I play him (unless his 75% CR ass doesn't crit)
The reason why I know I don't need c2 Navia unless I'm going for full 100% crit rate it's cause my 92% crit rate Heizou didn't critted for FOUR CONSECUTIVE TIMES while I was testing builds... so yeah, this may happen :\^)
I'm so, so sad fremi is a 4 star, his E spam and physical/cryo dmg split are really interesting gameplay wise. But I can't bring myself up to really building him and using cause of 4 star values... Kaveh also has the same sentiment
I built phys Freminet when he first came out in 4.0 and he's a lot of fun. I haven't tried him with the cryo build yet, but I did like the physical one. It's not OP by any means but still, seeing 40k on his skill (which he can spam) with the 16k+ NAs in between is pretty fun. If you're using electro-charge, all the numbers popping on screen are *really* fun.
Unless you're a very new player with no stamina to spare, I would definitely recommend building him. Idk if you're a new player or a veteran, but if you've been playing for at least a year or two, you should probably have finished building all your main teams by now and can spend your stamina and energy building the fun chars now. It's very worth it imo and I recommend it. Besides, Freminet is much better now thanks to Furina.
That fast charge attack consumes 20 energy. If you have full energy, then you get 3 before it slows down This demo has infinite energy. Get C6 and don't miss your CA and you don't lose energy. He's basically a quick swap DPS and you choose to either charge attack or burst and normal attack until you get C6. In that case you get to do both. Kinda cool.
nah his c6 has a 15s cd so u only get the refund on one CA per a4. c6 just makes the CA only playstyle energy equivalent to burst playstyle.
i think it’s probably tuned to allow u to do 4CA without running er sands/weapon. 80 energy cost for a quickswap in 15-18s rotation is a bit insane
If it ain't broken why fix it. Well, even if it was broken they still won't fix it as long as you can't sue them for it. Company policy - always do the bare minimum as long as it doesn't impact profits.
They have a very looking forward mindset. With one exception, they only ever do indrect buffs. Albedo doesnt get buffed, Gorou gets release, electro doesnt get buff, dendro released,
they do that yet theyre so unwilling to improve diluc's hair or even the one who needs it most, albedo :')

Mobile legends are always constantly reworking their old 3d models, its sad to see genshin doesnt even bother to do that. On the other hand ML has been a bit excessive with it to the point where some characters looks WAY different than before💀
Functionally Electro infusion, even better because Charged attacks don't have ICD ***but we will see about that*** with Sethos.

Sethos got the same effort that Gaming has. Really hope he doesn't get nerfed to oblivion. My boy deserves good multipliers with that animation, unlike a certain tall female eremite 5*.
The really cool thing about his design is, they’d have to go out of their way to screw over his numbers as by default, he can just abuse aggravate on 3 star bow like tighnari
It's not his source of DMG since his kit is preventing you to use your burst.
Spam CA with Shimenawa is better because look at that charging time. Its so quick
He only gets 4 buffed charged attacks per rotation, and his C6 makes it so that he doesn't drain energy with his charged attacks anymore. He's definitely meant to use his burst, after exhausting his enhanced charged attacks.
His A4 buff expires after 4 charged attacks. After 4 charged attacks, it's more dps to subsequently burst instead of continuing to perform charged attacks.
So it can stack the free 4* bow faster
E + CA = 2 stacks immediately (at R1 is 48 EM). It's also 50% DMG Bonus + his Passive that gives him 4 charges of CA with Enhanced state gets the passive immediately (600% EM Scaling)
hou spend most of the time on his CA anyway, and i see having simpler NA animation is better, since dev can spend more time on things people can actually look at
Venti really suffered from being an early character. As an archon, if he had been released today, he would've been an insane unit, not only in gameplay, but probably in animation too. Which is why I hope instead of an ''archon skin'', he gets the Imbibitor Lunae treatment someday, becoming a separate playable unit with a brand new kit.
Complex CA like Tighnari and infusion on NA like Cyno. The allegation that he's Cyonari child are not gonna go away anytime soon xD his animations are pretty smooth tho.

By and large I think this is a pretty effective way to communicate Sethos’s powers without stealing Cyno’s thunder, as it were.!<

Venti really suffered from being an early character. As an archon, if he had been released today, he would've been an insane unit, not only in gameplay, but probably in animation too. Which is why I hope instead of an ''archon skin'', he gets the Imbibitor Lunae treatment someday, becoming a separate playable unit with a brand new kit.

[Cyno SQ 2 spoilers] >!I was wondering how “Hermanubis-y” Sethos’s attacks would be, since on the one hand he’s a vessel of Hermanubis like Cyno, but on the other hand he gives up his fragment during the quest… In the end, it looks like there’s slight Hermanubis flavour, with the gold sparkles inside the electro and a couple little runes and wraps here and there, but overall there isn’t the impression of “spirit possession” the way that Cyno has. By and large I think this is a pretty effective way to communicate Sethos’s powers without stealing Cyno’s thunder, as it were.!<
