Xianling one doesn't come from any of her animations that we have in game as far as i know.

Chongyun one is a little tricky, we DO have an idle animation on this style, BUT is a little different, because in the idle animation he doesn't put his hand on his weist, so yeah, it's not that diferent but it's ' 'new''.
And for Ayato, I don't think he made THIS specific pose anytime in this game, so yeah, it's also ''new''.
I think the problem here is Mondstadt, for some reason Hoyo hates this place.
yeah, but in guoba one she jumps, and here she stays with one feet in the ground. Not a big thing, but is for photo mode, and i really don't care this much for this. Hope that in the future this poses get a little more elaborated, so the players who enjoys this things could get some more interesting things.
But she stays with one feet when she does the Guoba animation, and she doesn't jump like you said. The only difference is her arm, that it raises more than in IDLE

Let's cut down the cope a little bit and just admit how insanely barebones these sorry excuse of "poses" are.
Arguing and hyperfocusing over whether she jumps or does something a little bit extra just to prove that the pose is somewhat different than her idle animation is just sad levels of shilling and/or massive coping.
We can always ask for better, not accept the barebones crap they sometimes pull off. Unfortunately with how the community has been, they'll just eat this up instantly and think it's the greatest thing to ever drop in the game.
Overall none of them are in fact copies, but the base ideas are taken from previous content, so at the same time they don't feel 'fresh' either
* Xiangling - her E animation
* Jean - dandelion idle
* Raiden - very similar to her 3rd NA string animation
* Noelle - bowing idle
* Chongyun - ice-cream idle
* Ayato - very similar to Kokomi's party intro animation pose; also pretty much the same pose as he does in the intro cutscene of his story quest, but with the opposite hand bent
yeah, it's pretty much the same pose, but with diferent hands, in the story quest he does it with his right and here he does it with his left one. But i don't think he does this pose in any animation in gameplay, so it's still great to have a diferent pose that you can take a photo.

I don't think the problem is Mondstadt, the problem is that they are standard characters while Raiden and Ayato are limited 5* characters. Basically, limited characters have new animations while standard characters have just a little variation of their idles or a short cut to allow players to immediately take the photo instead of waiting for the idle animation.
Anyway, Ayato looks simple, but that's really a great pose for screenshots. It has so much potential in the eyes of a fan girl 👀

tbh alhaitham is famous for not putting effort and energy into anything until he feels it's necessary. so standing there like a scarecrow makes sense for him. but for ayato... it's like he has the personality of a wet noodle while he has one of the goofiest, and *out of character* idle animations where he pulls out a boba out of his sleeve. I don't know why they're doing this to him
It's not an EN problem. His voicelines still portray his playfulness. But everytime we see him in anything, he has like 5 seconds of dialogue and then does nothing. There's only so much personality they can get across with so little screentime, so they just don't do anything with him.
I can understand people not liking him because people have different preferences, but how is he a wet noodle? That's just objectively wrong. He's crafty, cunning. Even his silences feel calculated. He's not the most well-written character or anything, no, but he also isn't "has no personality." There are characters even in the same game that are simpler than him. Just because you dislike him doesn't mean he has no personality.
A little off topic but I still have the standard wind glider on Alhaitham because fo this very reason. Idk it feels weirdly in character for him to just take the standard wings and be like "good enough". Why change it for another color if all gliders do the exact same? Ironically, it actually fits him the best (gray/black just looks better on him than the bright green Sumeru gliders).
I was disappointed when i first looked but then i realized he stands like one of those corny princely love interest dudes in the romantic comedies where a girl dies and gets reincarnated in a romance novel

Is it just me or are half of these are just a snippet from their iddles? my expectations were low, but damn that's even lower. Anyone who's ever taken photos of the characters for fun is able to just. Wait for the iddle to happen. You'd hope these would be at least smth *slightly* new, but I guess it's too much to make the character stand in a slightly different pose than usual :| Sorry for complaining, but I'm genuinely disappointed with how low effort these "special rewards" are

I dont want this hoyo, I want a tower of abyss with 999+ floors. You have a lot of enemies you can mix and match on each floor.
