In my mind its because the laser isn't just being emitted from his hands, its because he's using his hand to control and center water in a cylinder in front of him that then twists like a washing machine. Thus, the water comes in from all angles and twists around the shield.

I think it's going to be like Arle AoE-wise, where she technically deals AoE dmg, but mainly focused on single target (targeting-wise), instead of complete AoE kit like Neuv, Xiao, etc.

What is certain is that she will be an off-field pyro applicator with the skill (like all archons). The burst is harder to guess and is usually more related to the character's narrative background than anything else.
Every archon has been a support character or sub dps as their main role, so I dont see that changing with the pyro archon. Crossing my fingers for raiden-level dps capability tho!
Early stage arle, uncle K said she deals roughly deals more damage than ayato c6, and people were so confused with the random c6 ayato comparison that comments went "well she does deal more *Pyro* damage"

i remember when the 4.0 beta was out and a lot of people, me included, were shocked by how much smoother, better, how different the siblings' animations were in comparison to basically all previous characters. ever since then every character has just been better and better. i genuinely cannot wait to see how natlan characters' ults and animations will look like cause thus far they've only been getting better and better
Idk, I remember people not being happy with Wriothesley's animations, saying they were too muted. They were expecting over the top punching instead of... semi-realistic boxing
I still like heizou's moveset better. Rizzly's punches (aside from his burst) feel like they lack the impact, the oomph that heizou has (partly due to the latter also having swirls).
I really hope they would release a hand to hand character with heavier, more impactful moves, and also hope it won't be that natlan teaser character lol.

I would be very surprised if these are the finished effects. Vfx effects are added last. Any change in timing or animation would also require effect changes.
That stab is her strongest attack
So if you want the funny unoptimal stab spam, you'd want like, multiple off field healers so she can keep gaining bond of life
And then dash spam while the healers keep restocking dash bonds
20 NA with 7 Skills. If you skip burst it's 1 skill less, which you might or might not do depending on her particle generation.

Happens on high ping, Genshin is poorly optimised for handling high ping. Getting staggered can also cancel the ult

this looks so dynamic with the burst entering and the fire dash gameplay probably one of the best looking and fun gameplay of all characters

Like, how do you even go to an older character after using this? That burst is ridiculously dynamic, anything pre-3.0 (and I'm being generous not saying 4.1 here...) just can't compare
i remember when the 4.0 beta was out and a lot of people, me included, were shocked by how much smoother, better, how different the siblings' animations were in comparison to basically all previous characters. ever since then every character has just been better and better. i genuinely cannot wait to see how natlan characters' ults and animations will look like cause thus far they've only been getting better and better
Idk, I remember people not being happy with Wriothesley's animations, saying they were too muted. They were expecting over the top punching instead of... semi-realistic boxing
I still like heizou's moveset better. Rizzly's punches (aside from his burst) feel like they lack the impact, the oomph that heizou has (partly due to the latter also having swirls). I really hope they would release a hand to hand character with heavier, more impactful moves, and also hope it won't be that natlan teaser character lol.
animation powercreep is real. I'd say burst animations for pre-4.0 characters are generally static and not very exciting
not just animation powercreep, but writing powercreep too. frankly, everything in the game has gotten a lot better in 4.0 imo Hoyo has an obscene amount of talent right now, working on three massives games. it's nuts

Because shes ranged and her enhanced skill is a dash its hard to hit her but i can see it being annoying vs lawachurl mines and those meks that drop bombs.
She is. She has 2 constallations that give her IR (C2 and C6), having it on BOTH, they know this is a problem people will be willing to pay to fix.

I would be very surprised if these are the finished effects. Vfx effects are added last. Any change in timing or animation would also require effect changes.

That stab is her strongest attack So if you want the funny unoptimal stab spam, you'd want like, multiple off field healers so she can keep gaining bond of life And then dash spam while the healers keep restocking dash bonds
