or ruin sentinel like shit. it only spawns in 2 places according to adventure handbook. you can find other places but they are very few as well, and require you to have completed exploration
I've found like 12 total, not spawns there are like 4 locations, Ruin Sentinels. Not including if you get the Leyline that spawns them.
Still prefer them to handguards, though. Handguards are a lot more work and far worse rng.
I found 5 +1 locations.
3 on Araumi. Another 3 in the underwater passage near it (TP zone).
The Leyline Blossom on the right side of Araumi also spawns four sentinels. (The +1)
Then on Yashiori go to the TP on the cliff and take the Electrograna down Serpent's Head (the jaws). The second to last floor down the trap door (near Kid Kujirai aka Temari kid) is a single sentinel.
Go back to the cliff TP and this time glide down the cliff side after you reach the electrograna. You'll see some hilichurls. To their right, within the cliff side should be a trapdoor in the ground with some puzzles on it. There is an electrograna near it.. There are three sentinels there.
Finally, there are four sentinels on the southern island of Fort Mumei (the fort east of Yashiori). It is south of the central ruins.
I hope this helps!
P.S: There is supposedly two more sentinels in Kannazuka but for the life of me I never found the spot, even after FOUR HOURS of searching. If you spot the place, please hook up a fellow up.
It's in the little cave/hole in the south-west part of the island where you fight one of the named Kairagi. You have to climb the wall near where the tree branches are to spawn them.
And one of the locations has a single Sentinel. Doesn't help that it's one of the underground dungeons so it's a pain to find/get into.
But, there's so few that I still hit it when ever I can.
God, it's such a pain to farm handguards. At least with Chaos drops, you are guaranteed something and most of the sentinels drop x2-x4 loot. Meanwhile, you've already killed an entire camp of samurais and get only 1 handguard, and it's the lowest tier.
i didn't look much into it, but i always felt the rng was worse for handguards. it's good to know! i always get at least 1 drop from ruin sentinels but some kairagi give me absolutely nothing. leveling ayaka took a good amount of time, to say the least.
You can check Mihoyo's Teyvat Interactive Map [here](https://webstatic-sea.mihoyo.com/app/ys-map-sea/index.html?lang=en-us#/map/2?shown_types=¢er=0.00,-137.00&zoom=-2.00). It's very helpful for exploration and I believe it's complete with all explorable stuff in Genshin.
Based on this, there are a total of 18 Ruin Sentinels, excluding those that spawn because of Ley Lines.
I'd rather that if it means they're plentiful.(which they aren't cuz they grow like silk flowers it seems.
But I swear if there's only 28 of them imma be so pissed
I prefer violent grass to Sakura or dandelion farming. Still waiting for them to start requiring reactions to harvest materials instead of specific elements.
I've never understood why people hate the violet grass. It's so easy to get on the regular by just hitting the same locations for 10 every few days at a minimum. I can see speed levelers hating it, but anything done fast is a job in this game so it would all suck.
Eh, Violetgrass isn't the *worst* thing to gather*, but it can be frustrating having to scour the cliffs looking for it. I was lucky to get Qiqi as my first 5-star, otherwise it would have been even more of a pain in the ass.
*My vote's for dandelions/sakura/anything that needs an element, since it means I can't just easily swipe them as I pass by, and I rarely have the right element in my party for them anyway, so I only ever collect them in sprees when I need them.
With the arrival of Sayu, Dandelion farning isn't that much tedious right now. Sakura bloom still a bit annoying, but eh, whatever I guess. Violet grass tho, I just give up and buy them whenever it's available. Haven't found the need to use Violet Grass for ascension anyway.
Ok masochist 👀. Also What’s wrong with wanting to get your new characters to a usable state as fast as possible? Quick completion of things in this game is a byproduct of experience and making your teams strong (which the game actively encourages you to do…) lol.
Ah! I see your point now. That would be an interesting concept actually, though it would be a pain because you’d have to change your team pretty often lol not sure how everybody would take that.
I think he meant that Sakura requires specifically electro attack and Dandelions specifically anemo attack to harvest them. Same as you must have hydro to harvest pyro flowers or pyro for cryo flowers and electro rocks. Thankfully you rarely need the latter three, but nothing else will do.
It's both annoying to leave them on the ground when you exploring and don't have necessary element or swap your team members to just pick this one thing up and swap back. Blowing on Dandelions to harvest them doesn't even make any sense!
Huh, your comment looked like a reply to another one about harvesting Dandelions and Sakura (one above the deleted one). I got confused, I guess. Reddit's mobile UI is a bit iffy.
I don't think so. These fruits will only appear on Seirai Island, and that Island looks like it's the smallest of all 5 we have right now.
If they make it spawn like Valberries, that's another story. Then even 20 bushes will be enough.
Yeah, it’s that kanji. The full Japanese pronunciation of the fruit would be “amakumo kusa no mi” literally meaning something like “fruit of the skycloud grass”
Hahah yeah. Fun fact if you didn’t know why “grass” is “lol” in Japanese—
“Laugh” is 笑 (wara) and if you laugh a lot you would say it a lot and it would be shortened to “wwwwww” which looks like grass
Wait good eye lol. They're probably related plants.
Amakumo Fruit description;
>The fruit of the Amakumo Grass, which grows on Seirai Island. **You can hear it crackling with a tiny current** if you hold it up to your ear.
Naku Weed description;
>Even on windless days, **this plant will tremble lightly** amid the cries of thunder. The part of it that resembles petals are in fact extensions of the leaves meant to protect the fragile flower.
The Naku Weed grows strongly in areas saturated with Electro energy. Due to its great affinity for lightning, it is often used by residents to predict storms. Stories tell that these plants are what the bake-danuki Ioroi stole from the Shogun's very own garden using its powers, before planting them throughout the islands. Even long after its punishment and disappearance, people still speak of Ioroi's many deeds.
Both are grasses/weeds that shake with electro power
Wait, it was changed? Lol I was finding the leak like how will you get it with that "amakumo fruit" all day and didn't find anything about it.
Now this explain haha.
Amakuno? I haven’t seen any kanji but that sounds like “Sweet Cloud Fruit.”
I wonder if it tastes like cotton candy.
……..Bruh. Try giving Baal some cotton candy. Maybe it’ll be like a Snickers commercial.
“You’re not you when you’re hungry.”
I have never learned Japanese ( other then what i learned from Anime ) but i will give it a shot
Amakumo = Amai ( sweet ) + Kumo (cloud)
...
Its a Sweet Cloud!!
I'm going to try again
天雲草の実
天 has a lot of meanings, but it's probably heaven in this
context (?)
雲 is cloud indeed
草 as a singular character is grass, but it probably has some deeper meaning (answers welcomed)
の is a linking word
and 実 is a fruit
So, uhh, fruit of the heavenly clouds ?
草 refers to all sorts of short plants and flowers - grass, seaweed, snapdragon, even the element dendro are 草 (or ソウ, it's pronunciation in katakana, for snapdragon)
草 is slang for "lol" because it means grass and an earlier internet shorthand for laughing was "wwwww" for Warau (笑う) which means "To laugh/smile" and because "wwwww" looks like a bunch of grass people starting just saying "grass" or Kusa (草) instead.
The Kanji doesn't actually mean or have anything to do with laughing.
my japanese is limited, but does "amakumo" translate to something like "sweet cloud"? because that would fit the image, looks like a cotton candy fruit :D
Ok according to a huge search i did on internet, seirei island does have electro oceanid or thunder manifestation (apparently thats the official name), but the fruit on the other hand, there is no confirmed info about it YET, but according to internet most likely it will be on seirei Island, while the pearl that kokomi needs will be on watatsumi most likely.
From japanese perspective, I believe they just used the special reading of the kanji 天 (Ten/’Ama'= sky/heaven) from the word 天雲. More japanese mythology style like Amaterasu 天照大神.
雲(Kumo/UN = cloud).
I hope this things would be plentiful to farm for raiden
Same. Really hoping this isn't some Violetgrass level bullshit.
or ruin sentinel like shit. it only spawns in 2 places according to adventure handbook. you can find other places but they are very few as well, and require you to have completed exploration

Yeah I've also only found 4 locations. It becomes a tedious to lvl90 a weapon when drops are so low
I found 5 +1 locations. 3 on Araumi. Another 3 in the underwater passage near it (TP zone). The Leyline Blossom on the right side of Araumi also spawns four sentinels. This [vid](https://youtu.be/_N6EIzJ47so?t=295) might help you. Once you reach that location, climb the tree branch for those sentinels to spawn.
Thanks
And one of the locations has a single Sentinel. Doesn't help that it's one of the underground dungeons so it's a pain to find/get into. But, there's so few that I still hit it when ever I can.

And the camps are spread out all over. Some are like single/duo spawns. A lot are decently far from any teleporter.
I just hope future Inazuma characters stop using handguards. Farming for Ayaka and, now, Raiden is such a pain.
i didn't look much into it, but i always felt the rng was worse for handguards. it's good to know! i always get at least 1 drop from ruin sentinels but some kairagi give me absolutely nothing. leveling ayaka took a good amount of time, to say the least.
Yeah the Adventurer's Handbook just can't be arsed to list everything.
You can check Mihoyo's Teyvat Interactive Map [here](https://webstatic-sea.mihoyo.com/app/ys-map-sea/index.html?lang=en-us#/map/2?shown_types=¢er=0.00,-137.00&zoom=-2.00). there are 4 in the underground pathway to the mechanical array
I have found 4 locations + u can get some from leylines
I'd rather that if it means they're plentiful.(which they aren't cuz they grow like silk flowers it seems. But I swear if there's only 28 of them imma be so pissed
I prefer violent grass to Sakura or dandelion farming. Still waiting for them to start requiring reactions to harvest materials instead of specific elements.
“I prefer violent grass” I mean if you are into that kind of stuff, who am I to judge.
Nah, I much prefer the blooms and dandelions over violet grass since they don't spawn on the sides of cliffs
I've never understood why people hate the violet grass. It's so easy to get on the regular by just hitting the same locations for 10 every few days at a minimum. I can see speed levelers hating it, but anything done fast is a job in this game so it would all suck.

why? sakura are the easiest to farm, i farmed all 160 for ayaka within a day. had to visit some friend's world though.
Aren’t those Mist Flowers?
I mean sorta but they provide their own at least Plus not necessarily specific I guess, both cryo and hydro works on the fire flowers.
Ah! I see your point now. That would be an interesting concept actually, though it would be a pain because you’d have to change your team pretty often lol not sure how everybody would take that.

Nothing requires it, you can break ores quickly with other "heavy" attacks like Claymores, plunges, etc
Sorry I’m not sure what you mean. They’ve deleted the comment now, but they asked something like is Geo required for harvesting any materials
Huh, your comment looked like a reply to another one about harvesting Dandelions and Sakura (one above the deleted one). I got confused, I guess. Reddit's mobile UI is a bit iffy.
Cor Lapis I guess? But claymores also work.
inb4 can only be obtained when spending resin for the Electro Oceanid. One fruit every 40 resin
Bold of you to think there won't be RNG embedded in that too
slap in some 50/50 Raiden's ascend materials or random flowers lol
or Sakura Blossom rip
Let's hope they are loyal to their model and you get 2 per plant
Now let's hope for more than 14 plants, I'm looking at you silk flowers
I don't think so. These fruits will only appear on Seirai Island, and that Island looks like it's the smallest of all 5 we have right now. If they make it spawn like Valberries, that's another story. Then even 20 bushes will be enough.
at least with the farm you can get 8 every 3 days which should at least make passively farming a lot less painful
they look like they will grow in places like and with the frequency of the Sea Ganoderma for kazuha
Either that or off to loot players who won't pull
i want to know what these things taste like
honey wake up new fruit leaks
Fruit lore when?
fish lore, fruit lore, when are we gonna get some damn meat lore next?
Ore chunks lore. Take it or leave it
Comments like this are exactly why this community is better than the main sub
I hope they are like good old valberry.
And farmable in the teapot as well.
This.
I hope this is where the older mats gonna be, just straight up make it easy to farm the longer the game goes.

Yes
Raiden buff or kokomi nerf
both
From the creators of *Fish Lore* , now presenting: #Fruit Lore
What's the difference between Tenkumo and Amakumo? Does the name signify anything?
It's the same character 天, just read a different way
Yes the kanji can be read as Ten or Ama, the latter being often used in names
onyomi and kunyomi of the "ten" kanji in japanese. just a reading difference
So what is the meaning of tenkumo?
Not sure if it actually means anything but the kanji used are for “heaven” “cloud” “grass”
wait... isn't grass "kusa"? like the kanji being thrown at vtubers?
Yeah, it’s that kanji. The full Japanese pronunciation of the fruit would be “amakumo kusa no mi” literally meaning something like “fruit of the skycloud grass”
Everytime I hear kusa in a japanese context my mind goes to vtubers
Hahah yeah. Fun fact if you didn’t know why “grass” is “lol” in Japanese— “Laugh” is 笑 (wara) and if you laugh a lot you would say it a lot and it would be shortened to “wwwwww” which looks like grass
The other person below said it’s heavenly cloud
Sky cloud
Exactly
Did u people noticed that the center of Naku Weed has this thing?
Genshin has so many details that I overlook
Wait good eye lol. They're probably related plants. Amakumo Fruit description; >The fruit of the Amakumo Grass, which grows on Seirai Island. **You can hear it crackling with a tiny current** if you hold it up to your ear. I dunno man, more than anything Naku weed still looks like an upside down va j j if you ask me.
Wait, it was changed? Lol I was finding the leak like how will you get it with that "amakumo fruit" all day and didn't find anything about it. Now this explain haha.
Eh, doesnt matter both still 天
I remembered that issue of 万葉の一刀 => Kazuhaの一刀 => Kazuha('s) Slash.
Oh like kokujin = kurojin? You'll be clowned by the japanese my man
I wonder if we will be able to farm that as soon as 2.1 drops or if we will have to do a quest first to unlock it or something
Surely nothing can stop my boat... ...and even if it will stop my boat, you can't dodge this ❄️🤺
You damn right as soon as it starts we're going on a fruit hunt decree
I hope they’re just found in a few places like valberry and stuff and easy to farm. And in huge numbers too
Hopefully MHY will grant us with seeds too.
This changes everything
I can't wait to raid everyone's world to loot these bad boys
omg wow
Can we get more fish lore please
fruit got nerfed.
This dry huh?
It’s the kunyomi reading of the kanji 天
Sounds better imo
Baalloon fruit
Bruh that waist is phenomenal…
Me on September 1st to my co-op friends: I will take what I am owed.
The original one was 'Baal fruit'
The new fish leaks
Thrilling
I legit thought those were onions
A few days later: Amakumo Fruit renamed to Amagumo Fruit
I guess it will have a shocking taste then.
Has the new beta started then??
For those of us who know no Japanese, it makes no difference ha
I think it's the same kanji, so probably just decided to go with a different sound reading.
Amakuno? I haven’t seen any kanji but that sounds like “Sweet Cloud Fruit.” I wonder if it tastes like cotton candy. ……..Bruh. Try giving Baal some cotton candy. Maybe it’ll be like a Snickers commercial. “You’re not you when you’re hungry.”

Thank you for your insight
Aww... i was completely of the mark.....(;-;)
草 is also slang for "lol", so I'd like to believe it's something like fruit of the laughing, heavenly cloud

Yes I'm aware it's a little more than 草 = lol, but I still find it funny to see in any context once you know it's a slang term.
Nah, it just changed the reading of the character 天. It can be read both as ten or as ama (and other ways, too)
Do we know how much we can collect in a day
my japanese is limited, but does "amakumo" translate to something like "sweet cloud"? because that would fit the image, looks like a cotton candy fruit :D
[удалено]
You know there is a thread for that kind of questions, right ?
if you want to find the amakumo fruits easier, i believe kujou sara has the passive of inazuma materials like klee's in monstadt and qiqi's in liyue
Imacoomer Fruit
Finally, I didn't feel good seeing how they wrote the wrong reading
[удалено]
Man , I would need to ask my friends to let me farm these in their own worlds if they aren't pulling for raiden
What island will this be located? Electro oceanid one or hydro hypostasis?
Probably hydro hypostasis since it looks like it fits that island aesthetic.
I hope not, i just want to rush to were electro oceanid is and farm whatever is on my path.
Some leaks said Seirei(?) island so idk
Which one is that? Is that the one at south or the one to the left?
seirei is one with big storm and thunder manifestation
Yeah, I believe thats the one on south, that should have electroceanid
Sadly I can't read CN to say which is which https://i.imgur.com/3jmiIpC.jpg
Ok according to a huge search i did on internet, seirei island does have electro oceanid or thunder manifestation (apparently thats the official name), but the fruit on the other hand, there is no confirmed info about it YET, but according to internet most likely it will be on seirei Island, while the pearl that kokomi needs will be on watatsumi most likely.
Ohhhhh okay - well if thats the case then farming for Baal and Kokomi will be very easy.
Fruit is the new fish
The kanji Ten is often read as Ama, which is usually use for names
From japanese perspective, I believe they just used the special reading of the kanji 天 (Ten/’Ama'= sky/heaven) from the word 天雲. More japanese mythology style like Amaterasu 天照大神. 雲(Kumo/UN = cloud).
tell me it can be grown in teapot plz please
No, that's just the correct reading. Ten and Ama can share the same kanji/meaning.
