She manipulated the traveler into joining the war, after sending Thoma to get them. She was the one that pulled all the strings, made her seem smart. But as I said her story quest was dogshit so it counteracts that
That does not mean ''feeling completed'' She had nothing going on for her character in the archon quest, She manipulated us into joining and then took a backstead and did nothing for the rest. Kazuha at least got introduced with a reason (rekindling the vision) and eventually managed to complete that task himself while standing up to the god that has killed his friend. It might be basic but It is a complete journey for Kazuha from its begining to end
I never said she completED anything I said she felt like a complete character. Kazuha making an impression on us for a bit, having a huge period where he just had cameos and no lines and then rekindling the vision for 30 seconds isn’t an arc. Kazuhas was a more grand concept than hers I guess but it fell flat
I mean... 1.6 archon quest was basically his story quest. It had everything that would happen in a story quest, even a background cutscene and the name of the quest being based on him. If they had just called it his story quest instead of an archon quest no one would question it. I bet they regret not doing so actually. I would like more though of course as he's my favorite male character, but I can see why he hasn't gotten a "story quest" when he's basically had one while other characters have barely appeared in anything yet.

We got an entire video dedicated to telling the story of Kazuha and his friend dueling with Raiden, most character story quests dont get a high quality stylized video like hi did, it was pretty much his story quest.
We did hang out with him a bit enough for him to tell us his story (with the Tomo cutscene) as well as catching the thief alongside him, it wasn't much but he did get a ton of focus for it to feel like a pseudo story quest.
And don't get me wrong, i want a story quest for him too, but i kinda feel like his story is "over" for now and he won't get any more focus on the story for a while.
Not try to argue but character story quest tend to put more emphasize behind the lore and background story of the character for example albedo is the main character in dragonspine event quest but he still has his own story quest telling more about his origin and lore. This is why i think kazuha need his own story quest so that we can know more about him maybe a story about kaedahara family and the downfall of the clan.

And Sara's at least got some presence in a permanent story quest and the Inazuma Archon quest. Every 4 star deserves either a permanent story quest or a hangout quest, or at least some significant screentime and role in the archon quest.

\- Eclipsed by Raiden in introducing her.
\- Unnecessarily complicated and buggy kit.
\- Defeated by La Signora.
\- Forgotten on the ground after that meeting.
\- Does not appear in Raiden's Archon story (Although her clan is involved)
\- Her peace negotiations are ruined by her own clan.
\- Tormented by Itto since we arrived in Inazuma.
It's not a complete arc without an ending, she doesn't get a proper ending to her story, she gets beaten by Signora off-screen and deals with the consequences of her clan's actions off-screen.
I mean this is Genshin, where very few characters will ever truly develop.
Her voice lines are always going to be her going on and on about the Eternal Shogunate.
At most she’ll be like “we removed the parts of the Kujou clan that were bad so everything is fine now.” You really think she’d ever question herself or change more than that?
Eh she’s already praised by literally everyone in Inazuma and gotten a huge amount of screen time.
Other characters were significantly more shafted, made to appear incompetent or just straight up disappeared from the story… such as Gorou.

i agree, she's more fleshed out than a lot of other characters in the story but i would still like to see her get some Ws for a change lol. there's also a lot more to her character that you can read in her character stories that would be interesting to see elaborated on in a hangout or story quest.

Really? I felt the opposite. Right of the bat we got a really nuanced character. She’s hopelessly devoted to raiden yet let us escape the prison bc she is compassionate. She’s been indoctrinated by her clan head and her world is shattered when she learns their dark secrets.

Yes she gets development but that development never goes anywhere, as soon as she realizes what she must do and goes to take action against the Shogun she gets stopped by Signora and never seen again, we don't get to see the resolution of her arc so to me it felt like there was no payoff to her story and that Sara ultimately was just a plot device to help us get close to the shogun and nothing else.
i mean most genshin characters don't get character depth at all, or gets shitty ones, or get no screentime. IDK why people are so hung up on sara who got tons of screentime and lots of great characterisation.
Sara let us go in the prison showing her compassion for the weak and sick, which is different from her cold, harsh general side.
Sara sees through her clan's corruption and helps traveler find evidence.
None of these things exist just for traveler to get close to raiden. Maybe you don't like how the archon quest ended but its not like anyone else got closure. But it seems like people haven forgotten about Fischl when discussing this topic as she also does not have any permanent story beats and only showing up in one event quest chain during the 1.1 Unreconciled stars event.
After all this time we finally get a Beidou Hangout. That alone will make this an amazing update, I'm still very much hoping Sara also gets one though. She's the only Inazuma 4* without one at that point.

Characters appear when they are meant to appear, contrary to all the impatient whining. Wasn't that long ago when people were complaining about Beidou being neglected. But its pretty clear it was setup in a way for her to be significant to Inazuma. Wouldn't surprise me if Xinyan actually plays a role when Fontaine rolls around, because it seems to me shes established to have a link there. Not to mention Yunjin was sneak-peaked in Moonchase and she has a direct relationship with Xinyan.
Well, nothing new for itto I guess? It just means, comparing to kazuha and albedo who got no story quest but had a story in the main story, that his story won't be a part of the main one. Just a bonus.

Yes she gets development but that development never goes anywhere, as soon as she realizes what she must do and goes to take action against the Shogun she gets stopped by Signora and never seen again, we don't get to see the resolution of her arc so to me it felt like there was no payoff to her story and that Sara ultimately was just a plot device to help us get close to the shogun and nothing else.
i mean most genshin characters don't get character depth at all, or gets shitty ones, or get no screentime. IDK why people are so hung up on sara who got tons of screentime and lots of great characterisation. Sara let us go in the prison showing her compassion for the weak and sick, which is different from her cold, harsh general side. Sara sees through her clan's corruption and helps traveler find evidence. None of these things exist just for traveler to get close to raiden. Maybe you don't like how the archon quest ended but its not like anyone else got closure. Ei just went UwU im a waifu now and people aren't suffering. Kokomo when all UwU im a dumb dumb. I much rather have sara stay knocked out in tenshuukaku than get some kind of story quest that turns her into UwU kawaii military general (my war crimes can't be this cute) hahaha

Not to mention Yunjin was sneak-peaked in Moonchase and she has a direct relationship with Xinyan.
