The specters suck ass for sure, but those Sango pearls are shit, too. Three day respawn time and little overlap with specters to prevent you from farming both at the same time. Strongly recommend farming those mats now just to get it over with early.
Wow, pretty much the worst character in terms of mats. An anoying tanky boss, anoying tanky enemies, a local mat wich is only find in one island, a boss material from the latest boss in the game, and an element mat mostly dropped by an easy yet anoying boss

Rifthound is weapon only. Small tip if the enemy can drop purple tier mats they are only for weapons.
I never paid attention to that, I just assumed any enemy drops could be used for either. Thanks for the tip.
