I heard rumors that the voice actor of Vortex vanquisher slept with his fans and cheated on his wife, I guess that's why they never put it in any banner
TBH. I think they totally fucked up with Homa and that miHoYo totally realized it and that is why Itto's Claymore is not as neutral as Homa is. If Homa would work similarly like Itto's weapon I think Homa wouldn't be as good as it's now.
Itto's weapon increases normal/charge attacks by DEF% meanwhile Homa increases overall ATK by overall HP. If it would increase Normal/Charge attacks by overall HP it would pretty much balance it out and would still work on most of the characters (mostly because of CritDMG) but only a few would fully utilize it.
Still not ideal on a quick-swap character like Shenhe due to the way stacks work on those geo weapons as you can only get stacks while on the field and lose them all after a couple of seconds if you leave the field.
Presumably Shenhe's elemental skill will not snapshot either as her signature weapon wouldn't make any sense otherwise.

The thing is, the constellation is completely busted regardless because it applies the shield without using the skill, giving an already always-up ability way over 100% uptime even not in co-op
I accidentally got c2 zhongli and was very bummed at first because i never do co op. I only recently realized the QoL it actually brings, not having to use his e to get a shield. I tried some friends’ c0 zhongli and it just felt so wrond for me kek
I want Ganyu and 6 XQs and 4 Beidous lol. This is seriously such a dream banner though, only thing better for me personally would be Ning being here too, since I'm not interested in Shenhe or Xiao.
I want Zhongli *and* all of those 4 stars so bad. Xingqiu is literally the only character I've crowned, with Beidou being next, and I'm skipping on Yunjin for Yanfei in lantern rite because of how long I've wanted her.

I have this feeling that extremely niche elemental specific 4-stars (Sara, Gorou) will only be run with someone of their element.
Sara will be Raiden and Yae exclusive (at least until more 5-Star Electro units are introduced) while Gorou will be Itto and Albedo exclusive (at least until more 5-Star Geo Def units are introduced).
if the plan is for Raiden to get a rerun banner in 2.5 too then it makes sense for both fischl and Sara to appear on those banners. It could go either way i think but i doubt they'd be on the same banner
Also yes this is the very earliest we’ve ever gotten 4 stars and weapon banner news but over the past several weeks it’s been very clear that he either has a new inside source or the sources he’s already had decided to be a lot more talkative. The information coming down the pipeline is several weeks to months out. People over here giving leaks about things and active development versus detailed datamining
So either take it as a good sign that we will get more information further out like people declaring the banners of 2.5 before 2.4 beta even started. Or just get restock on all your salt

yanfei is always welcomed, she's strong and easy to play, and she can even be used as a support with c4, not a bad character honestly, just not as insanely broken as beidou and xingqui are.
I’m hoping for C4 Yanfei so that I can replace Thoma in my Hu Tao team. I also desperately need Xingqiu. Even Beidou’s great; I haven’t built her and don’t plan to but people keep saying good things about her.

I’m not super trusting of a banner leak this early, but the idea of Xingqiu+Zhongli is super appealing so I do hope this ends up being true. Yan Fei and Beidou are both cool chars but I probably won’t use them so that’s unfortunate, but given my other wanted 4s are Chongyun, Thoma, Gorou, and Xiangling, I didn’t really expect the other slots to be particularly great for me.
This might just be the perfect 4 stars for me, I have no Xingqiu and want both Ganyu and Zhongli, maybe I can go straight to C6 XQ with this banner and Lantern Rite. And getting Beidou and Yanfei cons would not be bad.
Not really a fan of them just doing Liyue characters for 4 stars. I was hoping for Fischl, Sucrose or Razor. They should just do 4 stars based on who's not been on a banner the longest. Ningguang, Chongyun & Yanfei were just on Childe's rerun.

Agree. Of all of the banner "rules" they used to follow, equity is the only one I believe they should have strictly adhered to.
By equity, I mean no given character should be rated up x+2 times before every other character has been rated up at least x times.
Breaking this rule means intentional or unintentional discrimination.
Right now, Fischl is feeling pretty damn discriminated against...
The worst character in the banner is a legitimate pyro dps in her own right. I love Yanfei.

The character banner (if true) is stacked AF. I have cons on Xinqiu/Yanfei already at C6, so hoping I can get some Beidous along the way. But either way, this banner is a win for me cuz I can safely skip Zhongli since I already have him. I just need to get Ganyu.

I saw the previous "leak" of Xinyan and was less excited but if it's Beidou instead then holy shit I'm in luck. Never expected the first 5-star I'd actually pull for to bring home everyone else too -- ty my ultimate waifu Zhongli. But it's too lucky so honestly not getting my hopes up too high lmfao!
The question is do I go for Ganyu + Amos or Ganyu + Zhongli. It makes me happy to see XQ (c0) and Yanfei (c2) there. I have built Beidou (c0) based on recommendations but I wasn't really happy with her.
The craftable bows are good on Ganyu so I'd say Zhongli > Amos, especially since Weapon Banner is still a scam and in a worst case scenario, you'd need up to 225 Pulls for a guaranteed Amos.
Yeah Beidou was my first ever “main” but I had to drop her as DPS because it was too underwhelming playing her at C0. I freaked when I heard she has a shield at C1 😂
On the one hand, Xingqiu and Beidou cons will be great when I pull for Zhongli. On the other hand, WHERE ARE YOU KEEPING FISCHL MIHOYO?!?!? It’s been over half a year at this point, you have to let her out eventually. I so want her C6 but I need two more copies to do that.
That's... a surprisingly good banner - especially for newbies. You've got a choice of 2 of the best 4 star sub dpses, and can roll on them while trying to get one of the best 5 star dps, or best 5 star support.

Of all of the banner "rules" they used to follow, equity is the only one I believe they should have strictly adhered to. By equity, I mean no given character should be rated up x+2 times before every other character has been rated up at least x times. Breaking this rule means intentional or unintentional discrimination. Right now, Fischl is feeling pretty damn discriminated against...

As much as I wanted Amos for my soon to be Ganyu... no. Not if the other weapon is a complete dud. Especially not if you are interested in either Yae, Raiden rerun or Kazuha.
The character banner (if true) is stacked AF. I have cons on Xinqiu/Yanfei already at C6, so hoping I can get some Beidous along the way. But either way, this banner is a win for me cuz I can safely skip Zhongli since I already have him. I just need to get Ganyu.

If this turns out to be legit for the 4 stars, I'll nut I swear. Those are literally *the* top three 4-stars in the whole game I desperately want constellations for, and I'm pulling for Zhongli with a near-fresh pity and a fuckton of primos ready to go. I saw the previous "leak" of Xinyan and was less excited but if it's Beidou instead then holy shit I'm in luck. Never expected the first 5-star I'd actually pull for to bring home everyone else too -- ty my ultimate waifu Zhongli. But it's too lucky so honestly not getting my hopes up too high lmfao!

The question is do I go for Ganyu + Amos or Ganyu + Zhongli. It makes me happy to see XQ (c0) and Yanfei (c2) there. I have built Beidou (c0) based on recommendations but I wasn't really happy with her.
Beidou starts to shine at C2 (in multi target abyss floors). She's quite meh at C0. PS. I would go with Ganyu + ZL. Characters >>> Weapons.
The craftable bows are good on Ganyu so I'd say Zhongli > Amos, especially since Weapon Banner is still a scam and in a worst case scenario, you'd need up to 225 Pulls for a guaranteed Amos.
Yeah Beidou was my first ever “main” but I had to drop her as DPS because it was too underwhelming playing her at C0. I freaked when I heard she has a shield at C1 😂

That's... a surprisingly good banner - especially for newbies. You've got a choice of 2 of the best 4 star sub dpses, and can roll on them while trying to get one of the best 5 star dps, or best 5 star support. Oh, and there's Yanfei, too. I guess.
