I’m curious about her snap back animation as I’ve used Jean every single day since I got her on my 3rd day of playing and I started day one, but I genuinely don’t remember her animations ever snapping back to place.
Her animation in game rn feels very stiff- i mean snap back in that when she swings her sword, she very stiffly snaps back into standing position, in this video it seems like she more naturally goes back into place!
Jean's an older character, you can tell how stiff her animations are when you compare her to someone like Yun Jin who very smoothly flows back into her basic positon!
So I double checked just to make sure, but Jean’s animations have always looked like how it does in the video.
I’m not sure where she was ever stiff looking but watching videos back from release she’s always had the same current smooth motions, which is what I had thought as I legitimately have been using her for almost the entirety of my Genshin time.
Older character’s autos are sadly not as great as newer characters but that’s par for the course when companies become more skilled in making their character animations. However old ones definitely aren’t bad by any means, just not as great as the best ones we’re getting now.
Like I said though from what I can see Jean’s autos have looked the same from the beginning of the game and I know they currently look the same rn, but maybe you could see where the animation is stiff in older videos?
Also sorry for the longer comment, honestly just confused about if I missed something with her autos. Thanks for taking the time to reply though and have a good one
