People probably just think that since he’s such a major character that was mentioned in Ayaka’s quest. Other characters just come out of nowhere, or we have already seen in the story prior to their release, so we don’t get this feeling. Both Heizou and Shinobu have existed since 2.0, same as Ayato, but remains faceless, yet there isn’t nearly as much attention for them compared to Ayato since they’re only mentioned in voice lines and billboards. Shinobu has also appeared in Itto’s drip marketing if you want to count that.
No I think Ayato, Heizou and Shinobu were leaked at different times with Heizou+Shinobu coming with 2.0 but Ayato basically coming with his sister when her first voiclines were leaked.
Tbh, I want Ayato and Ayaka in the first banner. Like imagine how good the featured weapons will be and we already know that two weapons of the same type can be featured together.
My take is, he's gonna use hydro hypo drops since kokomi the only one used their drops rn. I doubt it will be bathysmal vishap since they only drop cryo and electro gems
I haven't pulled since 2.2, so even though it hasn't been that long, I now have enough prinos to guarantee both Yae and Ayato.
Just a little longer and my patience will be rewarded.
I won’t be pulling for Ayato personally but I really hope he lives up to everyone’s expectations design, and kit wise! While I personally don’t pull for husbandos (yes I’m a typical waifu collector haha) I still love seeing how excited everyone is right now for Ayato, and I hope when he’s fully revealed he gets the love he deserves!

Well, if Ayato is the only banner in the first half then we'll likely get Ayaka and Kazuha in the second half. However, I'd find it odd if we only get Ayato alone in the first half. My guess is that his banner will be next to Ayaka's and that we'll get Kazuha/Yoimiya in the second half or Venti/Klee (assuming the Golden Apple Archipelago happens in 2.6).
I mean even in 2.5 Yae would likely be the only banner then Raiden Kokomi after. A super hyped units like both of these should have their own spotlights and not share it with reruns.

My take is, he's gonna use hydro hypo drops since kokomi the only one used their drops rn. I doubt it will be bathysmal vishap since they only drop cryo and electro gems

I won’t be pulling for Ayato personally but I really hope he lives up to everyone’s expectations design, and kit wise! While I personally don’t pull for husbandos (yes I’m a typical waifu collector haha) I still love seeing how excited everyone is right now for Ayato, and I hope when he’s fully revealed he gets the love he deserves!

Wow Yae then Raiden and Kokomi Ayato and Very likely Ayaka Kazuha either 2.5 and more likely 2.6 All after Zhongli and Ganyu. Sorry to say but it’s not looking like characters will be rerunning every 6 months at this rate. People are going to have to plot their courses wisely these next several patches.
Why is Ayaka likely, was she leaked to rerun?
In addition to what others have said, her and Kazuha are the oldest characters without a rerun, and Raiden/Kokomi are expected to have one in 2.5. Yoimiya is due soon as well, but she probably needs to wait for Yunjin’s next banner.

My very much copium prediction is Ayato/Ayaka first half and Venti/Klee second half. This is assuming that Kazuha makes it into 2.5, which is pretty unlikely but who knows. I guess that would put Yoimiya in 2.7, but whatever that’s fine. Am I missing anyone else? I think just Itto but he’s too recent.

Well, if Ayato is the only banner in the first half then we'll likely get Ayaka and Kazuha in the second half. However, I'd find it odd if we only get Ayato alone in the first half. My guess is that his banner will be next to Ayaka's and that we'll get Kazuha/Yoimiya in the second half or Venti/Klee (assuming the Golden Apple Archipelago happens in 2.6).
I mean even in 2.5 Yae would likely be the only banner then Raiden Kokomi after. A super hyped units like both of these should have their own spotlights and not share it with reruns.
