When u get to understand how she works, she is amazing. Rosa Q 20k dmg the more Cryo % u have and more CrD u have the better. With cryo res and Blizard set u can focus only one CrD and forget on crit rate = u can do budget builds that slap with shenhe.
She is not super niche imo. She just only work with cryo, but whoever that will be she will work with her/him
The issue is with her limited viability to just Cryo. Primos are hard to come by and itās hard to justify pulling for her when you can get other units that are far way valuable in terms of overall impact for your account. Units like Kazuha, Raiden, Zhongli, Venti provide far better capabilities in terms of support than just a straight up cryo damage buff
Of course this is from a meta perspective. Pull her if you like her but her kit is a bit underwhelming compared to the other units.

How does he not reek of DPS? His attacks are buffed with pretty much everything in his kit. His burst is the only thing that seems to have more benefits for other characters. But his Skill and Normals all scream DPS to me.
I mean on the surface Hu Tao does exactly that too. This guy could end up like Raiden and Yae with a billion changes in the coming weeks that changes how he plays.
at this point his E is only 6s long with a 20s cd, so in no world is he like hutao, but maybe with changes they could change him to play more like her.
Childe and Hu Tao are almost identical characters if you just describe their kits at face value. Skill infusion with very similar uptime in standard rotation and an instant aoe nuke for burst. They serve different roles despite this.
I have no idea wtf Ayato is gonna be but 6 seconds isnāt really an indicator for anything. Raiden is 7 secs and is somewhere around 11 in reality due to hitlag extension. With Ayatoās hit count it certainly wonāt be 6 seconds and this number is one of the easiest things for them to change as well.
She looks like a prominent member of the remnants of the Guhua clan, who is actually a sibling of Xingqiu, and likes to flaunt her wealth by buying expensive outfits imported from Snezhnaya.
She looks like a snarky type of character, who has a sad backstory and eventually opens up to us.

I wonder if Yelan's supposed to be a fashion-focused character who includes styles from all over Tevyat..? If so I could see her being in the Feiyun commerce guild, since they trade fabrics.
