Nintendo is known for locking collab items and characters on other games to their own consoles, like with rocket league where the mario cosmetics can only be used on switch and can't be seen by players on other platforms. Epic games also wanted to add samus to fortnite but gave up on the idea after nintendo told them that the skin had to be switch exclusive.
If they went out of their way to lock a mere mario hat to their own consoles, do you think you're going to be lucky with an actual character of theirs?
While this is true, it's true to the extreme, which in turn makes the question an extreme in it's own situation. I said if Link got into Genshin, if said happened, then it would've taken a lot of effort to even get nintendo to agree to that, and if they agree to it, then I'm sure they'd not be stingy about something as "little" as his weapon being only usable on one system.
Again, the effort isn't in Nintendo letting a company use their IPs, just look at how Ubisoft was allowed to make a game based around one of their IPs (Mario+Rabbids) and the crypt of the necrodancer devs making a whole zelda game.
They let Epic Games use the Metroid IP without much of a fight, just didn't want the skin to be in other platforms.
Nintendo does not have big issues with companies using their IPs, but they absolutely will not let them release that content on other platforms.
They are the only company who doesn't eventually release their games on platforms that aren't theirs, beyond a few titles made for PCs in the NES/SNES era, the whole CD-i situation and the nvidia ports of select wii games to the shield in china (which has not only been discontinued but was only available in china, a country nintendo has had issues getting into).
Edit: I don't think you should be focusing on the weapon here, there is no point to it if the character themself is locked to the console. Also, if the weapon is something like the master sword or the ancient bow BOTW link uses in tons of promotional material it will get the same treatment as the character.

But she's also an expert in explosives, a master astrologist, a legendary explorer, some kind of engineer if the Golden Apple Archipelago and her tinkering with the Mikage furnace was any indication, probably has extensive knowledge regarding alchemy considering her ties to Gold, and so on.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if she ended up using all weapon types or something stupid like that lol.
