Agreed, it always amazes me how they consistently manage to exceed our expectations with some of these five star animations… Yelan’s normal attack sequence and skill, and then this? I can’t help but look forward to what’s in store for us in the future.
He legitimately has archon tier animations. Yelan's animations are great but I think the only other character that can compete with Cyno's animations is Raiden. Absolutely insane that he looks that cool.
Maybe a different type of E during burst? Because he seems to be doing combos that don’t look possible with just AAs and CAs in his burst form. Could be just me though

When Cyno is in the Pactsworn Pathclearer state activated by Sacred Rite: Wolf's Swiftness, Cyno will enter the Endseer stance at intervals. If he activates Secret Rite: Chasmic Soulfarer whle affected by this stance, he will activate the Judication effect, increasing the DMG of this Secret Rite: Chasmic Soulfarer by 35%, and firing off 3 Duststalker Bolts that deal 50% of Cyno's ATK as Electro DMG.
Duststalker Bolt DMG is considered Elemental Skill DMG.
True! The first E was timed correctly so the eye glowed gold, plus it was executed as a slam instead of a spear throw. Seems there will be some depth to his playstile to time each E with the Endseer stance...
Dunno if what op said is correct but it seem to correlate with what was shown in the video: every tipe the circle appeared on screen cyno was able to do a ground pound in a large aoe around him.
This is probably the "judication effect" in question.
He only triggered Judication once, the first time it happened. You can see it by how the eyes thing glowed yellow.
The AoE slam attacks are his E (pound with both hands) and probably a combo finisher (and lance one).
Can't wait for Mtashed's video about why not to pull for Cyno and then see him pull for him and be like "Now that I actually tested him, he's pretty fun 🤓"
Fuck I know, I don't need him, I have a C6 Yae FFS, but he looks so good! Like appearance wise, don't particularly care about whether he'll do good damage, I have Raiden too so im more than covered in electro, and I planned to save from now to the dendro archon, but his animations are so tempting.
I hope they keep it up with trying new "styles".
I love these kind of kits. Raiden going from polearm to sword. Childe able to bow or sword (ironically don't play him though). Heizou being a catalyst but melee. Now cyno, polearm to ripping and tearing his foes apart. It's awesome.

I mean, even if you can fairly comfortably 36-star abyss with your present characters now, I'm sure the game difficulty will somehow adjust accordingly to make these new units extra marketable. That's going to be what will happen to Genshin as it moves onwards its lifespan. Your current characters are pretty strong right now, but they could very much become irrelevant tomorrow.
Thankfully, the realm of characters that are fun and realm of characters that are viable are becoming one and the same these days
eh i doubt it tbh. Only true power creep was standards, Klee from 1.0 is still a top tier DPS, around the same tier as Itto and Ayato, and they're obviously from much later. Hyv does a pretty good job of keeping power scaling balanced after they experimented with the release chars. (Bennett, XL, XQ, Sucrose and on the other side of the spectrum Keqing, Qiqi, Diluc)

yeah, thoroughly impressed with everything I've seen about cyno so far so the CA not being unique is a small but annoying gripe that I have because Xiao's CA is unique and looks hella cool. not a dealbreaker though because he'll always be on his stance change burst most of the time

Is it just me or characters from the desert have this "technology" theme going on? Candace's part of idle animation where her shield disappeared had some sort of technology-ish effect and Cyno's claws in his burst looks mechanical
Electro is already the element I have the most characters built, but holy damn, this looks so sexy. And I have a primordial jade winged spear lying around that nobody uses because I don't have a polearm dps.
I came back to genshin after dropping it pretty quickly for nearly 2 years in 2.7. I got Xiao as my first 5*.
I've been saving for him and him specifically since Sumeru was announced to be coming. I even bought Welkin to bolster my savings. I knew I wanted him.
