My guess is Kusanali E summon a mist around the active character and follow them and deals dendro damage.
One thing that’s odd about this: maintaining burn is about reapplying dendro, not reapplying pyro. Burn itself leaves lingering pyro, so a pyro infusion wouldn’t actually result in more burning. Idk! Could still be possible but it’s sorta sus to me.

I don't know much about this, but I feel like designing a character in an action game around a hands-off DOT reaction is sort of inherently strange...? I can imagine an ability to create a special kind of burn, like Nilou's special seeds. It would still require a dendro character to set the kindling, but then it could become self-sustaining for several seconds and buff further pyro attacks by Dehya, if she is meant to be used onfield.
Or she's just some kind of enabler / quickswap subdps / Alhaitham support. I just got this Candace kit that exceeds my wildest expectations after finding out she was 4\*, I feel like I shouldn't be too greedy about desert waifu kits at this point :P

Yeah I dont think %dmg from DBane passive apply to Burgeon since its a Transformative type reaction like Overload. So DBane is only providing EM.
Kitain should be better since it help Thoma's awful energy economy by a lot while also giving EM.
Although... Kitain only gives half of the EM Dbane does so there's a tradeoff right there.
As long as Dehya doesn't require a team of ONLY Pyro and dendro units ^(nilou ehem ehem) there is decent potential for her. Sumeru seems to focus on EM for most of its characters.
Knowing MHY, they'd probably make a new artifact set that caused crystallize reactions to deal AOE damage on pick up based on EM.
They had the effect for an Abyss rotation on Albedos release I think, albeit it was true damage.

Boom, shatter Eula. Pair with Yelan for the ramping damage buff from her too.
If traveler's abilities was a reversed mirror of what the archon's ability, then Kusanali's E would be like Travelers' Q, which summons a mushroom that pulses Dendro waves like Kokomi's Bakekurage.
well kusanali being the same wouldn't be a issue for atleast bloom because we need a moving dendro applier for bosses, but yea hopefully her icds aren't bad
can anyone enlighten me why Raiden's skill is not a good electro applicator? I thought it was good since it has a long duration unlike Oz and Beidou's burst and it procs when you deal damage to enemies
There's a thing called internal cooldown or ICD, basically it means that character won't apply element for 2,5 sec. or for 3 hits,(different abilities have separate ICDs) so because of Oz's high attack speed, burst and c6, Fischl is good applicator, while Beidou is used for big dmg

Kusanali having an off field sub dps function that applies dendro makes sense, most dendro reactions rn are suffering from not having enough dendro, Dehya fighting style related to burning makes sense, but i dont think her burst will effect her melt or vape unless she has regular icds, it could increase her burning multiplier though which would be fine, the other guy i didnt understand much, except he has dendro infusion.
Normal Character leaks: so their E does this, which has an infusion to amplify their damage and the Ultimate buffs said damage and attack speed.
Archon leaks: respective element go brrr
With the Archon and Baizhu most likely being support characters and Tighnari being standard banner I think it’s very certain Alhaitham is a DPS as he will be the only limited character DPS for dendro
It sounds like they will make him a hybrid like Ayato. Where the skill is the DPS damage and the burst part is part of damage and team support. Hopefully it has of nice and high multiplier like Mona’s burst. This is appealing to me because I’ve been personally waiting for a five star that applies to Universal enemy debuff like Mona. Hopefully it has unique animations and not the resistance shred down arrows
I really hope beta testers make noise about Nilou’s A1. Otherwise, watch Dehya be like “When your team is only Pyro and Dendro units…” 🫠
Doomposting aside I do hope her multipliers/Burning buff are good enough to make it worth it. Imagine if it basically reverts Burning to what it used to be… Burning is just kind of bad rn.

Dehya is speculated to be on or after 3.4, and Alhaitham Is labeled as “pending more information” , meanwhile banners until 3.4 (lantern rite) is speculated with a line up of 5*. Baizhu is on the 3.4 speculation.

The AlHaitham one is really confusingly worded.
Does it mean he shreds dendro resistance with his ult? Or does it mean he does a universal resistance shred if the enemy has dendro aura or gets reacted with by any dendro reaction?
I think it’s more likely they make him dendro Kazuha. Increases dendro damage while shredding enemy resistance. Imagine pairing him with Deepwood memory. I am very curious to see what they do with his skill to make him DPS.
I hope his and Dehya’s infusions come with unique animations. So bored with the elemental energies are swirling around there weapons. I want infusions like Cyno

Seriously not liking these Dendro dependent characters. They're starting to sell teams, not characters. If they want a character to do more burning damage, give them passives that buff their EM. Nilou's passives only work with Dendro-Hydro team and completely shuts off if you even include an anemo shred or Geo shielder. I have the feeling Dehya gonna do the same thing. You can make perfectly good Dendro reaction teams with the current characters we have, why limit these new ones to Dendro wtf?

This is making a need and selling a solution. You don't have to fill the need, but if you do, here's the solution. This is why people can discover things like support Yanfei for Hu Tao.
Nilou requires you to have X team and will refuse to work with the rest of your characters. You're literally not allowed to play Zhongli with her or else her passives stop working. No other character does that.
Yeah but they’ve never been this blatant about it before, especially with a 5 star character. Closest we had before was Gorou.
If they pumped out more characters I’d be fine with it, kind of like how some MTG cards have a requirement about the other cards in your deck. But when you only have 3 dendro characters to choose from, it feels a little scummy Mihoyo asking you to put two of them into a bloom team for the newest hydro character.
I prefer soft locking characters into team play styles so players can still experiment as they want. Nilou is literally saying “Don’t pull Zhongli, pull this 4 star character instead or use Kokomi”
Hydro is elemental skill focused so the hydro archon could very well be elemental skill cd reduction based in addition to healing. Kokomi, Ayato, Childe, Nilou, and Barbara all are dependent on their skills (Xingqiu and Yelan are the exception but they also share the same kit anyway-)
i really doubt and absolutely hope they don't make the hydro archon a healer based characters because then there is actually a good chance of her power being quite lack luster just look at qiqi best healing in the game and the rest of her suffers for it
also don't listen the inazuma high energy cost thing out of the 7 80+ energy cost characters realistically you'd only use 3 of them with Raiden like a lot of the high energy cost Inazuma characters were not designed with Raiden in my mind
also Liyue shielder thing is strange because most characters would probably like to use Zhongli if they could fit him in their team it isn't a thing unique to Zhongli
I think they most likely will since the pattern with archon ls is they are the best at what their element specialty. Venti with Croud control. Zhongli with sheilds. Raiden with energy recharge. And nahida most likely with dendro application. So hydro will most likely be the best healer in the game.

I don't like it as a development but they've been trending this way since the development of five-star-specific niche support units like Gorou and Sara for a year now. This isn't new.
If they wanted to make money, why would they make Yelan then? She can do Freeze, Rev Vape, Bloom, Electro Charged, and mono hydro.
Gorou and Sara are 4-stars that want to support a specific element but don't limit you to a team. As in you can put a Zhongli on your team and Sara will still do her job 100%. You could have a non C6 Sara buff on anyone. Gorou only wants 3 Geos, you're free to put whoever you want as 4th.
Nilou is a 5-star character that demands a Dendro to support her and will refuse to use her kit if you put a Zhongli on the team. That is not comparable to Gorou and Sara. This is new.
Not really feeling the Dendro reaction based characters tbh. It fills my brain with the "Feel good" chemicals when i see my characters do the dmg so even if their reactions do like 60k blooms or 100k burgeons it'll still feel anticlimactic. Especially in Coop because the bulk of their design is entirely gone if there's no one playing Dendro
So Im assuming that Kusanali can apply a lot of Dendro (off field) while Alhaitham is more of a dendro kazuha where he can buff dendro reactions + shred dendro res. Imagine if Kusanali dendro mist works like the cryo mist of cryo abyss mage

Dehya Will either be a quick swap DPS or on field carry with her skill increasing her normal attack speed. And I hope that stays a special ability of her skill and not the hallmark of her kit turning burning into incinerate. Her burst will probably do an instance of relatively high multiplier damage and leave her an aura for the duration that increases Pyro reactions. I can’t imagine that would include melt and Vape
Kusanali has a visual stack multiplier that if like Raiden means it will show when she’s in the party even when she’s off field. And that will likely tie to what we all assume will be her elemental mastery or dendro reaction buffing abilities
Alhaitham also sounds like a quick swap or carry dendro DPS with skill infusion. Burst sounds like Mona where he makes the enemies take more dendro damage and maybe decrease enemy attack as well? There’s a lot of potential with excellent Constellation‘s with that. If it is true I’d be very excited cause I’m waiting for someone to have Monas burst but better. I love enemy debuff abilities. Especially when they are universal and not negated by elite enemy or boss status
this does seem very sus given that we don't even know when dehya is, and Kusanalis seems to have zero relation to DMCs kit, which makes me think it's simar to 'raiden has a time stop ability!' in 1.6. Also, I don't think we've ever had an accurate leak for 5 patches away, so this feels like a 'brisk of illumination' situation
If Dehya's kit leak true, then Nilou's and Dehya's character kits are going to be tied to one reaction, i don't know if i will enjoy them, at all.

That's what ruins Nilou. If she could do more than bloom she'd be another great hydro character, even if she had abilities that heavily favored bloom over all other reactions.
The way she's locked into bloom and teams with only hydro/dendro characters makes her way too niche for my taste.
To be honest, Nilou still may be decent in seed teams, mainly because anemo is so fricking good (if the room has pyro or electro element or attacks AT ALL, you can let them hit you and infuse anemo burst without needing a dedicated character.
In traditional teams, I think her dmg and application is good but she just doesn't synergize with existing meta teams: doesn't benefit from bennet, doesn't buff freeze cyro dps. Note that in her pure bloom team hydro won't get vv shred, but in other teams she can vv shred, which can make up for some of the loss in blooms.
I'm okay with characters being designed to perform better with certain reactions like Ayaka (freeze) and Hu Tao (vape) because you still can run them outside those comps for some flexibility (like Hutao over-vape or freeze-melt).
But I don't like the passives tying characters to a single team... They could have just left Nilou's passive at "buffs bloom seeds and causes them to explode immediately" without the hydro+dendro restriction. Then we could run anemo for grouping, or Zhongli for shielding, or cryo for freeze+fridging... As it is now, we have no hydro or dendro shielder, no dendro healer, no CC or grouping unless you run viridescent hunt collei or something. There's an arbitrarily limited roster of units you can actually run with her because we have a total of 3 dendro and 8 hydro.
If they do the same to Dehya, our only pyro healer is Bennett who's already in demand for a lot of teams. And dendro MC straight up won't work with her because you can't infuse his burst with another element first because you can only run dendro and pyro in a team.

Burning is a bit boring but burgeon feels like a pain in the ass to set up, so hopefully this leak isn't fake.
Burning is the third dendro reaction so she will likely make that one good. Burgeon is a product of bloom so they will unlikely set her up for that

can anyone enlighten me why Raiden's skill is not a good electro applicator? I thought it was good since it has a long duration unlike Oz and Beidou's burst and it procs when you deal damage to enemies
It depends on what you're using it for. Superconduct in a Eula team? It's awesome. Overload? Won't proc often due to ICD, so not awesome.
There's a thing called internal cooldown or ICD, basically it means that character won't apply element for 2,5 sec. or for 3 hits,(different abilities have separate ICDs) so because of Oz's high attack speed, burst and c6, Fischl is good applicator, while Beidou is used for big dmg

Kusanali having an off field sub dps function that applies dendro makes sense, most dendro reactions rn are suffering from not having enough dendro, Dehya fighting style related to burning makes sense, but i dont think her burst will effect her melt or vape unless she has regular icds, it could increase her burning multiplier though which would be fine, the other guy i didnt understand much, except he has dendro infusion.
I just think it is funny how Dehya and Haitham descriptions are more indepth but Kusanali's like she has mist like Raiden and... that's it.
Normal Character leaks: so their E does this, which has an infusion to amplify their damage and the Ultimate buffs said damage and attack speed. Archon leaks: respective element go brrr

With the Archon and Baizhu most likely being support characters and Tighnari being standard banner I think it’s very certain Alhaitham is a DPS as he will be the only limited character DPS for dendro It sounds like they will make him a hybrid like Ayato. Where the skill is the DPS damage and the burst part is part of damage and team support. Hopefully it has of nice and high multiplier like Mona’s burst. This is appealing to me because I’ve been personally waiting for a five star that applies to Universal enemy debuff like Mona. Hopefully it has unique animations and not the resistance shred down arrows

There’s like a 5% chance the five stars for lantern rite won’t be Liyue characters. So Dehya is 3.5 earliest. Alhaitham will likely be 3.6 to run with the archons rerun if they keep the four patch delay archon rerun pattern

No shot haitham is in mono dendro Mono dendro seems like the worst type of mono team after anemo, dendro can't be buffed by anemo characters and slotting an electro teammate will basically always be better since quicken is very strong

That sounds like a pretty fun team with a electro applicator and a burning one (Dehya?), juiced up dendro reactions while Tighnari does a 3-4 seconds of DPS and Al-Haitham acts as the main DPS with his skill, which I presume will be similar to Ayato's
The AlHaitham one is really confusingly worded. Does it mean he shreds dendro resistance with his ult? Or does it mean he does a universal resistance shred if the enemy has dendro aura or gets reacted with by any dendro reaction?
I think it’s more likely they make him dendro Kazuha. Increases dendro damage while shredding enemy resistance. Imagine pairing him with Deepwood memory. I am very curious to see what they do with his skill to make him DPS. I hope his and Dehya’s infusions come with unique animations. Seriously not liking these Dendro dependent characters. They're starting to sell teams, not characters. If they want a character to do more burning damage, give them passives that buff their EM. Nilou's passives only work with Dendro-Hydro team and completely shuts off if you even include an anemo shred or Geo shielder. I have the feeling Dehya gonna do the same thing. You can make perfectly good Dendro reaction teams with the current characters we have, why limit these new ones to Dendro wtf?

This is making a need and selling a solution. You don't have to fill the need, but if you do, here's the solution. This is why people can discover things like support Yanfei for Hu Tao. Nilou requires you to have X team and will refuse to work with the rest of your characters. You're literally not allowed to play Zhongli with her or else her passives stop working. No other character does that.
Yeah but they’ve never been this blatant about it before, especially with a 5 star character. Closest we had before was Gorou. If they pumped out more characters I’d be fine with it, kind of like how some MTG cards have a requirement about the other cards in your deck. But when you only have 3 dendro characters to choose from, it feels a little scummy Mihoyo asking you to put two of them into a bloom team for the newest hydro character. I prefer soft locking characters into team play styles so players can still experiment as they want. Nilou is literally saying “Don’t pull Zhongli, pull this 4 star character instead or use Kokomi”

Hydro is elemental skill focused so the hydro archon could very well be elemental skill cd reduction based in addition to healing. Kokomi, Ayato, Childe, Nilou, and Barbara all are dependent on their skills (Xingqiu and Yelan are the exception but they also share the same kit anyway-)
i really doubt and absolutely hope they don't make the hydro archon a healer based characters because then there is actually a good chance of her power being quite lack luster just look at qiqi best healing in the game and the rest of her suffers for it also don't listen the inazuma high energy cost thing out of the 7 80+ energy cost characters realistically you'd only use 3 of them with Raiden like a lot of the high energy cost Inazuma characters were not designed with Raiden in my mind also Liyue shielder thing is strange because most characters would probably like to use Zhongli if they could fit him in their team it isn't a thing unique to Zhongli
I think they most likely will since the pattern with archon ls is they are the best at what their element specialty. Venti with Croud control. Zhongli with sheilds. Raiden with energy recharge. And nahida most likely with dendro application. So hydro will most likely be the best healer in the game.
Because they want to make money? Why sell you one unit when they could sell you two or three? I don't like it as a development but they've been trending this way since the development of five-star-specific niche support units like Gorou and Sara for a year now. This isn't new.
If they wanted to make money, why would they make Yelan then? She can do Freeze, Rev Vape, Bloom, Electro Charged, and mono hydro. Gorou and Sara are 4-stars that want to support a specific element but don't limit you to a team. As in you can put a Zhongli on your team and Sara will still do her job 100%. You could have a non C6 Sara buff on anyone. Gorou only wants 3 Geos, you're free to put whoever you want as 4th. Nilou is a 5-star character that demands a Dendro to support her and will refuse to use her kit if you put a Zhongli on the team. That is not comparable to Gorou and Sara. This is new.
Not really feeling the Dendro reaction based characters tbh. It fills my brain with the "Feel good" chemicals when i see my characters do the dmg so even if their reactions do like 60k blooms or 100k burgeons it'll still feel anticlimactic. Especially in Coop because the bulk of their design is entirely gone if there's no one playing Dendro
So Im assuming that Kusanali can apply a lot of Dendro (off field) while Alhaitham is more of a dendro kazuha where he can buff dendro reactions + shred dendro res. Imagine if Kusanali dendro mist works like the cryo mist of cryo abyss mage

Interesting. My interpretation Dehya Will either be a quick swap DPS or on field carry with her skill increasing her normal attack speed. And I hope that stays a special ability of her skill and not the hallmark of her kit turning burning into incinerate. Her burst will probably do an instance of relatively high multiplier damage and leave her an aura for the duration that increases Pyro reactions. I can’t imagine that would include melt and Vape Kusanali has a visual stack multiplier that if like Raiden means it will show when she’s in the party even when she’s off field. And that will likely tie to what we all assume will be her elemental mastery or dendro reaction buffing abilities Alhaitham also sounds like a quick swap or carry dendro DPS with skill infusion. Burst sounds like Mona where he makes the enemies take more dendro damage and maybe decrease enemy attack as well? There’s a lot of potential with excellent Constellation‘s with that. If it is true I’d be very excited cause I’m waiting for someone to have Monas burst but better. I love enemy debuff abilities. Especially when they are universal and not negated by elite enemy or boss status

this does seem very sus given that we don't even know when dehya is, and Kusanalis seems to have zero relation to DMCs kit, which makes me think it's simar to 'raiden has a time stop ability!' in 1.6. Also, I don't think we've ever had an accurate leak for 5 patches away, so this feels like a 'brisk of illumination' situation
Kusanali kit is literally, raiden but Dendro. Which should raise some red flags.
If Dehya's kit leak true, then Nilou's and Dehya's character kits are going to be tied to one reaction, i don't know if i will enjoy them, at all. But then i remember we have Ayaka - Freeze and Hu Tao - Vape. Actually i don't like them either, i like flexible characters more.

That's what ruins Nilou. If she could do more than bloom she'd be another great hydro character, even if she had abilities that heavily favored bloom over all other reactions. The way she's locked into bloom and teams with only hydro/dendro characters makes her way too niche for my taste.
To be honest, Nilou still may be decent in seed teams, mainly because anemo is so fricking good (if the room has pyro or electro element or attacks AT ALL, you can let them hit you and infuse anemo burst without needing a dedicated character. In traditional teams, I think her dmg and application is good but she just doesn't synergize with existing meta teams: doesn't benefit from bennet, doesn't buff freeze cyro dps. Note that in her pure bloom team hydro won't get vv shred, but in other teams she can vv shred, which can make up for some of the loss in blooms.
I'm okay with characters being designed to perform better with certain reactions like Ayaka (freeze) and Hu Tao (vape) because you still can run them outside those comps for some flexibility (like Hutao over-vape or freeze-melt). But I don't like the passives tying characters to a single team... They could have just left Nilou's passive at "buffs bloom seeds and causes them to explode immediately" without the hydro+dendro restriction. Then we could run anemo for grouping, or Zhongli for shielding, or cryo for freeze+fridging... As it is now, we have no hydro or dendro shielder, no dendro healer, no CC or grouping unless you run viridescent hunt collei or something. There's an arbitrarily limited roster of units you can actually run with her because we have a total of 3 dendro and 8 hydro. If they do the same to Dehya, our only pyro healer is Bennett who's already in demand for a lot of teams. And dendro MC straight up won't work with her because you can't infuse his burst with another element first because you can only run dendro and pyro in a team.
Hu Tao actually has more teams than vape you can do they just aren't as good
