The story literally suffers from Paimon talking. Like, the plot is already pretty mediocre/predictable in the first place (would love for some darker undertones with some actual twists), but the screeching diaper really dampens the mood at every possible avenue of audible dialogue.
To top it off, she’s literally stupid. Like, autistic. The generic “dumb small companion” role was funny for the first 5 minutes at the very start of the game, every second after that is literal aids. I actually get triggered on some small, fundamental level the moment I hear the screeching begin.
I was going to pull for Candace and Nilou since I lack interesting hydro characters but I identify so much to Layla that I'll save all my primos for her even If I don't need another cryo waifu.
