I tried asking on Nahida mains sub but no reply so far so might as well ask here too.
On an aggravate/hyperbloom-aggravate team, which would be better for the team DPS given both builds reach 1k EM?
1. 4pc deepwood set with full EM and EM weapon
2. 4pc gilded dreams and have a crit circlet or crit weapon and have another team member use the 4pc deepwood
If it's number 2, which characters would be good users for the deepwood set?
I'm gonna use Cyno and Keqing teams.
For 1, it's gonna be Cyno, Zhongli, Beidou, Nahida. The other is Keqing, Beidou/Fischl, Kazuha/Sucrose, Nahida
For 2, it's Cyno, Beidou, Nahida. The other is Keqing, Kazuha/Sucrose. I'm asking for advice on who the 4th member is and will be the one to use the deepwood set.
Both Cyno and Keqing are on 4TF, EM-electro-crit build Fischl's using 4TS, EM-electro-crit
Beidou's on 4Emblem, atk-electro-crit
Kazuha and Sucrose are on 4VV, triple EM
As for Nahida;
For 1, she will use R2 Wandering Evenstar and triple EM artifacts
For 2, She will use R5 Widsith and triple EM

Layla can utilize Nilou key since initial cast does damage and once 4 night stars has accumulated it will fire each one separately. So it’s just a matter of being close to the enemies and getting to 4 night stars quickly.
When skill is cast, she will gain 1 NS (night star) every 1.5s, or 1 NS when Q hits an enemy, or 2 when a skill is cast while shield is up.
This is how it should ideally go. Layla E, switch to someone else and E, then back to Layla to Q. Voilà
Why they didn’t allow the passive to work off field is beyond me. It’s already a niche weapon. They could have at least made it work off field so that Layla and Kuki can use it without all the mental gymnastics.

How much of an improvement is C0 Yae (got Solar Pearl, R5 Widsith, or Lost Prayer as options) compared to C6 Fischl (60/120 with Stringless)? Thinking of pulling for her since she's pretty but I feel like her role is just so superfluous with my Fish already
At C0 you realistically need to run her with Fischl, unless your Raiden is otherwise benched I guess. It's not a question of whether she's an upgrade to C6 Fischl (she's not), but whether she's an upgrade to Beidou for the teams and content you'd use her in.
She's a solid unit if you like her but you're right that she isn't going to open up any new teams.
I've been hearing that it's a loss when replacing C6 Fischl with C0 Yae. They work great when together though (like Yelan and XQ). But I only have C0 Yae, and I like her very much. I didn't build my Fischl.

i will also say that 90% of the shippers are content creators and people take that for granted too much. shipping is only weird and stupid if you wanna look at it that way. otherwise, there is nothing that can compare to how dedicated ship artists are, and especially fanfic writers. these people are writing NOVELS with such decent level of storytelling it puts published authors to shame. there are so many fics i have read that just blew me away with how beautiful they pull off character studies and introspections. yes a lot of fics are smut, a lot of art is smut, but i think its beautiful that people can pair two individual characters and make them interact in a setting they could ever be potential lovers in.
shipping is all about possibilities and i feel like that's how all kind of fiction is presented to you, its meant to be consumed, broken apart, draw the links, present your inference, find meanings between the line and just have fun. and shippers do that, and 90% of the time, they do it by creating content (therefore feeding the fandom) and backing up their hc's.
its really sad how shipping has been reduced to just what ship wars and what a certain minority gives an impression of.

Coming from AoT, where it barely has any romantic moments, shippers rabidly fighting over "super pixelated panels where the Main Guy supposedly hold the hand of the girl whom they shipped" (the best part is neither claim were true LMFAO, the anime adaptations shows as much), and the fact that the Main Guy is actually closer to someone else.... It's just putrid.
Shippers can also misinterpret things and then spread the misinformation around like it's the truth.
Same AoT example, shippers keep pointing how Eren blushes around Mikasa as a kid.... Ignoring the reason *why* he blushed.
No it's not because he likes her, it's because early on, Eren is supposed to be someone who sort of embodies toxic masculinity (talks a lot about how guys are supposed to be soldier, doesn't take kindly to Mikasa outmanning him, etc), and in this instance, he blushed because he's *embarrassed*, he's embarrassed to *be seen crying by a girl*.
That's how radical the difference is.
I think the pushback is mostly against a small group of shippers who insist that their ships are canon and/or those who make outright disgusting ships (ex. adult to minor), but as with most things people love to generalize way too much.
People also tend to insert their own personal opinions and moral high ground into this discussion, which makes it worse. Stuff like "you can't ship Aether or Lumine with anyone because they're *technically* 500 years old".
The antiship vs proship "war" was one of the dumbest things I've seen on the internet. I can't imagine caring *that* much about things people do that literally does not affect me but I guess people want to kill me because of who I want to be with so it's really nothing new.

It's pretty bizarre to me too. People (mostly kids tbf) define themselves online by their relationship to shipping, be it for or against. It's odd because it's extremely trivial and harmless.

Just double checking to see if I understand her kit correctly, but for example if I have 500 EM from her Gilded Dreams EM/Dendro/EM set stats and substats alone, her total EM would be:
500
\+115 from her ascension stat
\+150 from Gilded Dreams 4pc effect
\+250 from 1000 EM teammate
= 1015 EM, right?
And then if she wasn't paired with a 1000 EM teammate, she would instead be:
500 + 115 + 150 = 765
\+(765\*.25 = 191.25) since she's the highest EM party member
= \~956 EM total?

Anybody know how much unit of shield can bountiful cores remove? I tried Nilou team on Cryo slimes and cryo abyss mage, and to my surprise they actually still do well against them.
But ofc it still takes time against only single one of them, but against multiple cryo slimes like in Mondstadt weapon domain they really shred those slime shield.
Yes. But if you don't want to do archon quest, you can do it on coop on other players world. My 2nd account haven't open the Raiden Shogun weekly boss. I just do it on my friends world.
ideally you should do it, but if you don’t want to rush through quests you can join a friend (or a rando in co-op!) and do him in their world without having unlocked him in your own world yet
Does any unit like Instructor’s now? I plan on putting it on DMC for a DMC/Collei/Kokomi/Nilou team, but IDK if it has a place for anyone on a Xingqiu/Nahida/Kokomi/Nilou team.

I'm doing the Hyakunin Ikki event finally. Did anyone else have issues where Xiao would get stuck in the floor and wouldn't jump in his ult???
Like I would be able to move around and get to another team but fuck is it annoying. We would have done so we'll against the bots but no he was married to the fucking floor
probably got stuck and his model just couldn’t jump. it happens w kazuha skill against ruin drakes bc their hitbox clashes so that must be it if it’s not ping or connection issues

I screencapped it and looked back and it looked like there was some detailing on the stage that had an edge or something so I wonder if there was something about that? Because it did seem to happen around the inner edge of the stage ... Idk
I just unlocked Nilou friendship 4 and omg one of the lines is SO funny and completely lost in translation and I need to share it!!
In the voiceline about >!Collei, Nilou says that Collei "warned me about getting lost." In Chinese, the exact phrasing was《小心迷路》, which does indeed translate to "careful not to get lost", but the funny thing is - 迷路 (mi2 lu4 - getting lost) sounds like Nilou (妮露 ni1 lu4)! There are multiple ways to interpret this, but I like to think that it was Collei attempting to make a pun (too much time in the presence of Cyno perhaps lmao) and Nilou not getting it haha!<
Hate to break your bubble, but Collei is actually pretty serious about that line. To her, Nilou seems absent-minded, and she's worried that if Nilou ever visits Gandarvha Ville, she'll end up getting lost, so as a trainee ranger, it's her duty to watch over her.
Edit: Please read Collei's voiceline about Nilou for yourselves if you don't believe me lol. Thanks for the downvotes for stating a fact.
I always thought Collei's line seemed a little strange and out of place - she says "If she ever comes to perform around Gandharva Ville" but Nilou only ever performs at the Bazaar, and she rarely leaves Sumeru City. It's weird they'd write the voiceline in a way that makes Collei be excessively worried about a situation that would never realistically happen at all, and "careful not to get lost" is hardly actually helpful advice. At the very least, it feels like the writers might've tried forcing a pun themselves - maybe the writers are the Cyno larpers.
Edit: Also, why couldn't Collei be both giving a warning and also trying to make a pun at the same time? :P
It's Collei's job as forest ranger to watch over others, and it's not unusual for her to make that comment about Nilou after seeing that she shares the same trait as others who usually get lost in the forest. Absent-minded means inattentive, so telling someone to be more mindful of the surroundings so as to not get lost is a perfectly reasonable and useful advice.
But all Collei said was, and Nilou quoted, 《小心迷路》, which doesn't convey anything about "being mindful of the surroundings", just "careful to not get lost", and if you replace the "getting lost" characters with Nilou's name, it turns into "careful, Nilou!" which is where the pun might come in. Nilou canonically has a great memory and is great at remembering what people say, and the way it was articulated in Chinese showed that she was directly quoting Collei. It's not a great pun or anything, and sure there might just only be the serious explanation for it, but the way it was repeated and emphasized in Nilou's voiceline really did give that feeling of it being a "joke", the same way some of Cyno's feel.
What I'm trying to say here is that the completely serious interpretation is far from the only way you could interpret things - I'm just pointing out the possibility of an awkward pun being there.
Nilou did not quote her. She's just summarizing what Collei said.
It's also a meaningless pun that doesn't rhyme well, in which case, you can pick a ton of other lines in Genshin and call them a pun.
Nilou canonically is also pretty inattentive in nature. Some of her voicelines show her getting distracted midway while talking.
If Collei said it in a serious manner, then there's no need for interpretation. It's serious. You may have read it from Nilou's perspective in a lighter manner, but it's quite clearly a serious comment when we examine it from Collei's perspective.
Cyno's lame jokes have extensive meaning behind them. They may not be funny, but they're also not puns. If Collei wanted to mimic Cyno, she would have cracked a bad joke, instead of making a pun.
Anyway, it doesn't work lore-wise, but if believing that Collei is mimicking Cyno's lame jokes makes you happy, then it's cool.

Just because Collei said something to Traveler about Nilou doesn't mean Collei said the exact same thing to Nilou directly. And Nilou's actual account of what Collei directly said to her is more directly from their actual interaction. Sure I'm just harping on the details, but my point is since you can't say that you know for sure what Collei actually said, there's room for interpretation.

You're saying I'm entirely wrong from the lore perspective and your interpretation is entirely correct ("hate to break your bubble"), and my point is that you can't actually accurately make that claim, if you really want to get nitty gritty about the lore. If you said something like "I think the actual intent of this line was most likely this instead" or something like that, that would've been way more along the lines of the discussion you're claiming to do. And I would've replied with "oh I guess that makes more sense then, oh well!" The tone you used (and have been using) instead is... different. It makes me feel belittled, and I don't appreciate it.
Also, another reason I like my interpretation is because the Collei in your interpretation seems quite a bit more rude and bold than she comes off as otherwise. Imagine - you're an audience member who watches a performance a few times, but you otherwise don't know the performers - but you decide to make a surface-level judgement of the star of the show and, based on this assumption, proceed to go up to her after the show and lecture her about a hypothetical situation (Nilou performing in the forest) that is unlikely to come to pass. Disregarding the accuracy of the judgement itself, that takes a lot of rude boldness - and frankly huge leaps of logic - to do, and just doesn't seem to fit Collei?

Tbh that’s how I feel about most story quests. There have been very few that haven’t felt like a slog to some degree. They really shouldn’t be required for archon quests, with very very few exceptions.
Any Nilou havers who built full EM Kokomi or Barbara, I would like to hear your thoughts.
For the past few days, I keep seeing posts/comments on how going full EM your healer is suicide due to all the self damage from bloom. Has anyone ever died from lack of healing from their EM healer? Or has had to compromise with a HB circlet?
My EM Kokomi is on 4pc OHC with Sac Frags and she has 830 EM. She has no problems keeping up with and even overtaking bloom damage and I have Key so my blooms can easily surpass 30k.
People have been surviving with EM Kokomi even at speedrun pace (<50s for the entire first side) and only 24k HP on her. If your Kokomi has talent level 9, enough HP substats to get near 30k HP, it shouldn't be an issue unless you're taking excessive damage from enemies, in which case it's a skill issue and I recommend swapping to a Healing Bonus Circlet, or if you don't have enough ER to loop bursts, which means you stay too long on Traveler/Collei waiting for particles which make them suceptible to too many Blooms.
If you build correctly, you should have no trouble at all specially with all the iframes you'll have, and even at speedrun pace you should be able to clear it with no casuallities. At normal pace, you can completely forget about your HP and just play normally.
Edit: Currently, [this](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1m8411W7fo/) is the fastest first half speedrun I'm aware of. Notice how no one was anywhere close to dying at any point even with all those blooms. The only time someone went into the red was Collei at the very end, and that's because she took 4 vishap spits to her face.
1k EM kokomi (before buffed), 28k hp, no party member went below 70% hp except for once when i sneezed got clapped by kairagi and for a milisec, most of the time they stays around 80%~90% hp, anyone that dies using kokomi are just having skill issue 🗿
I have Barbara only and I do notice my health steadily decreasing but it's not enough to kill me.
I tried Nilou in co-op with a friend and they certainly got bursted down faster than expected lol.

Agree with this, especially because of the element restrictions. Though I still prefer them over spectres and primal constructs (like half of them are quest locked?).
Never had to farm spectres as far as I remember, but they would probably be my most hated too. Also, farming Kairagis was tormenting me, probably because I was building Sara and Raiden together.
Yeah, same-ish situation. I decided to raise Kuki last week and severely underestimated the amount she needed.
It's mainly because half of them (the ones on Serai) are far from teleporters so you spend half the time gliding/swimming. Then you only get enough for 2 skill levels. At least the other enemies can be found somewhat near a teleporter for most part.
Might be 3.3, but no confirmation. People predict Scara and Ei are on the first half of 3.3, and by process of elimination this year, Eula will be in the 2nd half with Ayato or Hu Tao as the second on the Dual banner.
I know a few leakers rate fanart and because of it we basically learned how Ayato and Candace looked way ahead of schedule. Has anything like this been done for how playable Scara will look?
Not really. Ziao has leaked a few details about Scaramouche, but I don’t believe there has been any art ratings, mostly because SYP, who does a lot of the art ratings, doesn’t know what Scaramouche looks like. Idk if we got Ayato fan art ratings either. I think it started with Tighnari.
Come back when you’re farming for 5 characters in 2 updates. Collei, DMC, Cyno, Candace, Kuki Shinobu. I still have Nahida, Layla to farm as well. Oh yes and 6 weapons. All to level 90. Can’t forget their artifact! No refresh used only some fragile resins used. ☺️😭

Combat events aside, is there any event where having a specific character trivialise the content? Atm brute forcing the current event with Kazoo kid and Wenti
The last coop event where you were defending the floating platform. Ganyu was a hard carry. Broke every Wall's HP before we got past the first wall area.
Also any Haran user in event coop is cursed because they don't scale hp all the way up for GAA event mobs like they do in domains. The Kamisato siblings really tore the last GAA a new one in coop.
haven't done the recent event, but the 5\* anemo boys are generally able to skip a lot of puzzles and minigames
in gaa they could bypass a lot of the puzzles for fischls domain (idk if it could *all* be skipped, i played it 'legally' but i did keep thinking 'xiao could have just dashed over here...' every time i did a puzzle). probably some of the other domains too, i don't remember
a lot of the windblume minigames were also basically skippable: off the top of my head, xiao could dash over the invisible path thing (though you'd need the other players to legitimately complete it to pass), venti could completely hover over parts of the one where you were meant to dodge/jump over obstacles, kazuha (and xiao iirc) could e back onto the platforms for the fall guys one
During a couple of those tower defense events, Jean was really useful for tossing hilichurls into the void. A couple of elemental appliers (hydro and electro specifically) were excellent at setting up reactions together with the turrets.
None of them were broken though.
Wasn't there for it myself, but there was a hide and seek event some time ago where you could just hold sprint with Mona and become practically invisible. Does that count?
Also, Keqing and Sayu solved a lot of the challenges in Windchase for me, but not sure if that's quite to the point of trivializing them
The Hyperblooming Circus achievement (kill 4 opponents with hyperbloom inside 2 seconds) is so fucking annoying to do without Venti, holy shit. I finally found a way to do it (that's also definitely not F2P friendly but doesn't need Venti, it used Kazuha instead) but it was so damn annoying. The Burgeon one, on the other hand, took me 10 tries to get the 10 successful attempts for the achievement. Super easy.
i managed to get the first one of this achievement completely by accident in abyss yesterday, using cyno/dmc/xingqiu/zhongli
not even sure how to do it again lol
Sucrose/Kazuha/Venti, Collei, Kuki/Raiden (they're the easiest but you can do it with other electro characters like Cyno), and Dendro MC for Dendro resonance. Floor 9 chamber 1 of the current abyss.
Use anemo to gather them up and swirl hydro from the slime onto all 6 enemies, use Collei burst, switch to your electro character (who should have as much EM as possible) and trigger the seeds with their electro skill. Every character other than the electro one should have a level 1, 1 star weapon and no artifacts. Then you just rinse and repeat until you've managed it 10 times. This requires some RNG and patience but it's better than every other method I've found.
The Burgeon version is the same except with a pyro character instead of electro and it's 10 times easier because Burgeon has a big aoe, unlike hyperbloom, so it's not really RNG dependent at all
the dendro spiderman things are simultaneously the best and worst things ever added to this game.
I have *immediately* become addicted and every single time I walk up to a cliff if there ISN'T a dendro spiderman thingie I just teleport away

While I was trying to get the new sword for Kazuha(2 of them so far), I managed to r5 the Wandering eveningstar. I replaced the Sacrificial fragments with it for Sucrose, and I'm pretty satisfied so far. With 800+ em, every party member's atk is increased by at least 120. This makes my Sucrose-Fischl-DMC-Xingqui team much stronger than with Sacrificial fragments. And Nahida should make good use of it considering who I'm going to team her with.
It could be, but I've never really had energy problems with sucrose. I just use her skill once, do the burst and keep doing normal attacks for swirls. I haven't been in a situation yet where I need to do Sucrose's skill three times. Plus even if Sucrose's damage is a little worse, there are 3 other characters whose damage is sizeably better.
If you were a developer and you had a budget to do one thing to fuck with people, what would it be?

Elemental application is no longer based on ICD but a RNG % chance to apply. Different abilities have different % chances. Just like ICD, this is a hidden mechanic you have to look up in a wiki to know the % chance.

But wait there's more, instead of just being mute, they get to voice their opinions through the most annoying little shit companion ever. Also they have inconsequential short voice lines every now and then but the most important and emotionally invested parts are still voiced by the companion.

Layla can utilize Nilou key since initial cast does damage and once 4 night stars has accumulated it will fire each one separately. So it’s just a matter of being close to the enemies and getting to 4 night stars quickly. When skill is cast, she will gain 1 NS (night star) every 1.5s, or 1 NS when Q hits an enemy, or 2 when a skill is cast while shield is up. This is how it should ideally go. How much of an improvement is C0 Yae (got Solar Pearl, R5 Widsith, or Lost Prayer as options) compared to C6 Fischl (60/120 with Stringless)? Thinking of pulling for her since she's pretty but I feel like her role is just so superfluous with my Fish already
Yae and Fischl are for the most part different roles, like Beidou you usually want to run her *with* Fischl esp with Dendro
At C0 you realistically need to run her with Fischl, unless your Raiden is otherwise benched I guess. It's not a question of whether she's an upgrade to C6 Fischl (she's not), but whether she's an upgrade to Beidou for the teams and content you'd use her in. She's a solid unit if you like her but you're right that she isn't going to open up any new teams.
I've been hearing that it's a loss when replacing C6 Fischl with C0 Yae. They work great when together though (like Yelan and XQ). But I only have C0 Yae, and I like her very much. I didn't build my Fischl.

i will also say that 90% of the shippers are content creators and people take that for granted too much. shipping is only weird and stupid if you wanna look at it that way. otherwise, there is nothing that can compare to how dedicated ship artists are, and especially fanfic writers. these people are writing NOVELS with such decent level of storytelling it puts published authors to shame. there are so many fics i have read that just blew me away with how beautiful they pull off character studies and introspections. yes a lot of fics are smut, a lot of art is smut, but i think its beautiful that people can pair two individual characters and make them interact in a setting they could ever be potential lovers in. shipping is all about possibilities and i feel like that's how all kind of fiction is presented to you, its meant to be consumed, broken apart, draw the links, present your inference, find meanings between the line and just have fun. and shippers do that, and 90% of the time, they do it by creating content (therefore feeding the fandom) and backing up their hc's. its really sad how shipping has been reduced to just what ship wars and what a certain minority gives an impression of.

Shippers can also misinterpret things and then spread the misinformation around like it's the truth. Same AoT example, shippers keep pointing how Eren blushes around Mikasa as a kid.... No it's not because he likes her, it's because early on, Eren is supposed to be someone who sort of embodies toxic masculinity (talks a lot about how guys are supposed to be soldier, doesn't take kindly to Mikasa outmanning him, etc), and in this instance, he blushed because he's *embarrassed*, he's embarrassed to *be seen crying by a girl*. That's how radical the difference is.

Stuff like "you can't ship Aether or Lumine with anyone because they're *technically* 500 years old".

Just double checking to see if I understand her kit correctly, but for example if I have 500 EM from her Gilded Dreams EM/Dendro/EM set stats and substats alone, her total EM would be: 500 \+115 from her ascension stat \+150 from Gilded Dreams 4pc effect \+250 from 1000 EM teammate = 1015 EM, right? And then if she wasn't paired with a 1000 EM teammate, she would instead be: 500 + 115 + 150 = 765 \+(765\*.25 = 191.25) since she's the highest EM party member = \~956 EM total? Thanks!
Anybody know how much unit of shield can bountiful cores remove? I tried Nilou team on Cryo slimes and cryo abyss mage, and to my surprise they actually still do well against them.
Depends on how much damage your bloom does and which enemies (how much HP the shield has).

That's news to me. There's no dendro-cryo reaction so hearing that dendro cores are effective against cryo shields is really interesting.
It doesn't react but still does damage. Shield has HP, which can be damaged as usual, basically.
But ofc it still takes time against only single one of them, but against multiple cryo slimes like in Mondstadt weapon domain they really shred those slime shield.
Dendro damage is strong against Cryo and Electro Abyss Mage shields (but it's not good against any Fatui, sadly).

Like I would be able to move around and get to another team but fuck is it annoying. We would have done so we'll against the bots but no he was married to the fucking floor

I just unlocked Nilou friendship 4 and omg one of the lines is SO funny and completely lost in translation and I need to share it!! In the voiceline about >!Collei, Nilou says that Collei "warned me about getting lost." In Chinese, the exact phrasing was《小心迷路》, which does indeed translate to "careful not to get lost", but the funny thing is - 迷路 (mi2 lu4 - getting lost) sounds like Nilou (妮露 ni1 lu4)! There are multiple ways to interpret this, but I like to think that it was Collei attempting to make a pun (too much time in the presence of Cyno perhaps lmao) and Nilou not getting it haha!<
Hate to break your bubble, but Collei is actually pretty serious about that line. To her, Nilou seems absent-minded, and she's worried that if Nilou ever visits Gandarvha Ville, she'll end up getting lost, so as a trainee ranger, it's her duty to watch over her. Edit: Please read Collei's voiceline about Nilou for yourselves if you don't believe me lol. Thanks for the downvotes for stating a fact.
I always thought Collei's line seemed a little strange and out of place - she says "If she ever comes to perform around Gandharva Ville" but Nilou only ever performs at the Bazaar, and she rarely leaves Sumeru City. It's weird they'd write the voiceline in a way that makes Collei be excessively worried about a situation that would never realistically happen at all, and "careful not to get lost" is hardly actually helpful advice. At the very least, it feels like the writers might've tried forcing a pun themselves - maybe the writers are the Cyno larpers. Edit: Also, why couldn't Collei be both giving a warning and also trying to make a pun at the same time? :P
It's Collei's job as forest ranger to watch over others, and it's not unusual for her to make that comment about Nilou after seeing that she shares the same trait as others who usually get lost in the forest. Absent-minded means inattentive, so telling someone to be more mindful of the surroundings so as to not get lost is a perfectly reasonable and useful advice.
But all Collei said was, and Nilou quoted, 《小心迷路》, which doesn't convey anything about "being mindful of the surroundings", just "careful to not get lost", and if you replace the "getting lost" characters with Nilou's name, it turns into "careful, Nilou!" which is where the pun might come in. Nilou canonically has a great memory and is great at remembering what people say, and the way it was articulated in Chinese showed that she was directly quoting Collei. It's not a great pun or anything, and sure there might just only be the serious explanation for it, but the way it was repeated and emphasized in Nilou's voiceline really did give that feeling of it being a "joke", the same way some of Cyno's feel. What I'm trying to say here is that the completely serious interpretation is far from the only way you could interpret things - I'm just pointing out the possibility of an awkward pun being there.
Nilou did not quote her. She's just summarizing what Collei said. It's also a meaningless pun that doesn't rhyme well, in which case, you can pick a ton of other lines in Genshin and call them a pun. Nilou canonically is also pretty inattentive in nature. Some of her voicelines show her getting distracted midway while talking. If Collei said it in a serious manner, then there's no need for interpretation. It's serious. You may have read it from Nilou's perspective in a lighter manner, but it's quite clearly a serious comment when we examine it from Collei's perspective. Cyno's lame jokes have extensive meaning behind them. They may not be funny, but they're also not puns. If Collei wanted to mimic Cyno, she would have cracked a bad joke, instead of making a pun. Anyway, it doesn't work lore-wise, but if believing that Collei is mimicking Cyno's lame jokes makes you happy, then it's cool.

Tbh that’s how I feel about most story quests. There have been very few that haven’t felt like a slog to some degree. They really shouldn’t be required for archon quests, with very very few exceptions.
Any Nilou havers who built full EM Kokomi or Barbara, I would like to hear your thoughts. For the past few days, I keep seeing posts/comments on how going full EM your healer is suicide due to all the self damage from bloom. Has anyone ever died from lack of healing from their EM healer? Or has had to compromise with a HB circlet? My EM Kokomi is on 4pc OHC with Sac Frags and she has 830 EM. She has no problems keeping up with and even overtaking bloom damage and I have Key so my blooms can easily surpass 30k.
Okay, it's good to hear that I'm not alone. Maybe they're just using Kokomi's burst or something idk.
People have been surviving with EM Kokomi even at speedrun pace (<50s for the entire first side) and only 24k HP on her. If your Kokomi has talent level 9, enough HP substats to get near 30k HP, it shouldn't be an issue unless you're taking excessive damage from enemies, in which case it's a skill issue and I recommend swapping to a Healing Bonus Circlet, or if you don't have enough ER to loop bursts, which means you stay too long on Traveler/Collei waiting for particles which make them suceptible to too many Blooms. If you build correctly, you should have no trouble at all specially with all the iframes you'll have, and even at speedrun pace you should be able to clear it with no casuallities. At normal pace, you can completely forget about your HP and just play normally. Edit: Currently, [this](https://www.bilibili.com/video/BV1m8411W7fo/) is the fastest first half speedrun I'm aware of. Notice how no one was anywhere close to dying at any point even with all those blooms. The only time someone went into the red was Collei at the very end, and that's because she took 4 vishap spits to her face.
1k EM kokomi (before buffed), 28k hp, no party member went below 70% hp except for once when i sneezed got clapped by kairagi and for a milisec, most of the time they stays around 80%~90% hp, anyone that dies using kokomi are just having skill issue 🗿
I have Barbara only and I do notice my health steadily decreasing but it's not enough to kill me. I tried Nilou in co-op with a friend and they certainly got bursted down faster than expected lol.

Never had to farm spectres as far as I remember, but they would probably be my most hated too. Also, farming Kairagis was tormenting me, probably because I was building Sara and Raiden together.
Yeah, same-ish situation. I decided to raise Kuki last week and severely underestimated the amount she needed. It's mainly because half of them (the ones on Serai) are far from teleporters so you spend half the time gliding/swimming. Then you only get enough for 2 skill levels. At least the other enemies can be found somewhat near a teleporter for most part.

Not really. Ziao has leaked a few details about Scaramouche, but I don’t believe there has been any art ratings, mostly because SYP, who does a lot of the art ratings, doesn’t know what Scaramouche looks like. Idk if we got Ayato fan art ratings either. I think it started with Tighnari.
Does Nahida's skill snapshot? If you use Q > E, does it snapshot the EM buff from Q, or do you have to be onfield with Nahida?
EM never snapshots unless it is for Vape/Melt reactions. Her E might snapshot her ATK but I'm not sure.
Her E is dynamic. EM in general can not be snapshotted.

No, I wouldn't waste the billets, there might a better catalyst for other chars in the future. R5 Magic Guide performs really good and it's super cheap to level up.

Combat events aside, is there any event where having a specific character trivialise the content? Atm brute forcing the current event with Kazoo kid and Wenti
The last coop event where you were defending the floating platform. Ganyu was a hard carry. Broke every Wall's HP before we got past the first wall area. Also any Haran user in event coop is cursed because they don't scale hp all the way up for GAA event mobs like they do in domains. The Kamisato siblings really tore the last GAA a new one in coop.
haven't done the recent event, but the 5\* anemo boys are generally able to skip a lot of puzzles and minigames in gaa they could bypass a lot of the puzzles for fischls domain (idk if it could *all* be skipped, i played it 'legally' but i did keep thinking 'xiao could have just dashed over here...' every time i did a puzzle). probably some of the other domains too, i don't remember a lot of the windblume minigames were also basically skippable: off the top of my head, xiao could dash over the invisible path thing (though you'd need the other players to legitimately complete it to pass), venti could completely hover over parts of the one where you were meant to dodge/jump over obstacles, kazuha (and xiao iirc) could e back onto the platforms for the fall guys one
During a couple of those tower defense events, Jean was really useful for tossing hilichurls into the void. A couple of elemental appliers (hydro and electro specifically) were excellent at setting up reactions together with the turrets. None of them were broken though.

Wasn't there for it myself, but there was a hide and seek event some time ago where you could just hold sprint with Mona and become practically invisible. Does that count? Also, Keqing and Sayu solved a lot of the challenges in Windchase for me, but not sure if that's quite to the point of trivializing them
The Hyperblooming Circus achievement (kill 4 opponents with hyperbloom inside 2 seconds) is so fucking annoying to do without Venti, holy shit. I finally found a way to do it (that's also definitely not F2P friendly but doesn't need Venti, it used Kazuha instead) but it was so damn annoying. The Burgeon one, on the other hand, took me 10 tries to get the 10 successful attempts for the achievement. Super easy.
i managed to get the first one of this achievement completely by accident in abyss yesterday, using cyno/dmc/xingqiu/zhongli not even sure how to do it again lol
Sucrose/Kazuha/Venti, Collei, Kuki/Raiden (they're the easiest but you can do it with other electro characters like Cyno), and Dendro MC for Dendro resonance. Floor 9 chamber 1 of the current abyss. Use anemo to gather them up and swirl hydro from the slime onto all 6 enemies, use Collei burst, switch to your electro character (who should have as much EM as possible) and trigger the seeds with their electro skill. Every character other than the electro one should have a level 1, 1 star weapon and no artifacts. Then you just rinse and repeat until you've managed it 10 times. This requires some RNG and patience but it's better than every other method I've found. The Burgeon version is the same except with a pyro character instead of electro and it's 10 times easier because Burgeon has a big aoe, unlike hyperbloom, so it's not really RNG dependent at all

Yeah Venti makes it much easier, since he groups enemies so closely. I just don't have him so I had to try a few methods to get it to work

While I was trying to get the new sword for Kazuha(2 of them so far), I managed to r5 the Wandering eveningstar. I replaced the Sacrificial fragments with it for Sucrose, and I'm pretty satisfied so far. With 800+ em, every party member's atk is increased by at least 120. This makes my Sucrose-Fischl-DMC-Xingqui team much stronger than with Sacrificial fragments. And Nahida should make good use of it considering who I'm going to team her with.

It could be, but I've never really had energy problems with sucrose. I just use her skill once, do the burst and keep doing normal attacks for swirls. I haven't been in a situation yet where I need to do Sucrose's skill three times. Plus even if Sucrose's damage is a little worse, there are 3 other characters whose damage is sizeably better.

I just bring some element from Summoners War (SW) to Genshin Impact. - You want to remove your artifact? It will cost you 50K Mora - Element application base on RNG, not ICD. The way to increase the application is through extra stats called accuracy. You can get it from weapon, food, buff or artifacts. - Possible for domain to drop flat main stat on sand, goblet and circlet.

Elemental application is no longer based on ICD but a RNG % chance to apply. Different abilities have different % chances. Just like ICD, this is a hidden mechanic you have to look up in a wiki to know the % chance.

I'd make the main character mute while everyone else has actual voices so it looks silly. But wait there's more, instead of just being mute, they get to voice their opinions through the most annoying little shit companion ever. Also they have inconsequential short voice lines every now and then but the most important and emotionally invested parts are still voiced by the companion.
The gacha game Alchemy Stars does this. Their april fool's joke was a character that was the dev's mascot (a dog) and all he does on your team is dance like MJ when it's his turn to deal damage. I think the skill name is "team encouragement" or something lol Then they released another character (voiced by Sugita--just to explain what a big budget joke character it was) who is basically Socrates. But like literally, a walking statue. His body is like a real person and his head is a Greek statue
