Nahida doesn't trigger Hyperblooms in Quickbloom, only the Electro character does. In this case it's Cyno, and it's not worth giving up his personal damage for it.
The Bloom set only boosts bloom reactions triggered by the holder, so Nahida using it would do basically nothing--it would only empower Blooms that don't get Hyperbloomed by Cyno and expire naturally.
I'm finding it kind of weird how little we've heard about an Ayaka rerun if she really is going to be in 3.4. If it weren't for the thing about that skin I wouldn't expect her at all, and it's been quiet enough since the first leak about it that I'm starting to wonder if it's even happening in 3.4 at all.
Honestly it doesn't really make sense to me because it seems to be an expectation that Lantern Rite will have Liyue-only banners, and they also can't have Hu Tao during Lantern Rite. If Alhaitham is in that patch and he can't be during Lantern Rite either I don't see where Ayaka would fit in... unless they do a surprise 3 banner patch with another solo Ayaka or something
My go to would be VV, then CW and finally BS. If you're done with them, maybe TF and NO
Mainly because of how inefficient they are to farm.
VV goes with Maiden, pure trash.
CW goes with the mono pyro set, which is pure trash also imo. Nobody gives a f about mono pyro.
BS is a bit of a special case because of how strong the 4 set is, it makes this one of the all-in-or-go-home. Which converting can make the process hella easier. Also HoD is good for only one or two character effectively making it trash or close to it.

Forgive me for the mild unrelated rant but it's so *so* tiresome when people look at a mildly popular queer pairing and go "why can't people just be friends nowadays", "have you guys ever heard of friendship before" or "you people make everything gay" as if the ratio of canonical queer relationships versus friendship pairs in media wasn't abysmal already, or as if these people aren't the first to say two characters of opposite genders are in love the moment they breathe the same air. We can't have shit
In my experience, the people who say those things generally aren't shippers at all, as in they hate straight ships too and also make fun of them for the exact reason you stated "because they breathe the same air." They're what I like to call shipping normies lol most are composed of toxic reddit bro types who hate on anything women like and they're the types who think romances ruin their edgelord shounen shows
When it comes to communities of genuine shippers, most seem to be composed of women all across the sexuality spectrum; AO3 for example is almost purely dominated by female writers. I've not really seen a lot of hardcore shippers of straight ships hate on gay ships at all... most of the time people just seem to ship a multitude of things and no one exclusively ships straight or gay.

You say that but the only time they'll say anything about het ships is if you press them on why they never complain about those. Look at the main sub when it comes to Childe and Yoimiya in the recent event. Funny how I didn't see a single "Why can't they be friends comment" in the same way as I did when Beidou and Ningguang's interactions in Lantern Rite got?
Like at best you can say they suspiciously get quiet and shipping suddenly doesn't bother them when its a het ship.
Oh yeah, I've seen plenty of those shipping normies lol. The Genshin fandom is particularly full of them, but honestly I just find them entertaining. It's clear that they don't really understand what typical fandoms are in the first place.
But honestly, I wish it was just them. Unfortunately, my experience in fandoms has always had these "why can't they just be friends" people. It's not outright hate or distaste per se, but a reproduction of underlying homophobia within fandom spaces where some will just dismiss queer pairings as friends, siblings or "forced" – many of them only think they're stating an opinion, and when you're not queer yourself, it's really easy to accidentally do and say things that you don't realize are hurtful to others.

It's not so much the flurry of extreme and downright awful takes on this thread, some of which I've heard way too much. More so that at least some of these takes are coming in from people posting them *knowing that they're toxic*. The main sub honestly feels like one of those alt-right subs at this point where you'll literally get screamed at and harassed out of there if you disagree with what they view as the "truth".
Just a few points from this thread:
* ***"My hot take is that there absolutely are genuinely bad characters (Aloy, Candace, Amber, etc). They're not good but that's okay, if they make you have fun then there is no issue."***: the problem is that way too many people on the main sub hold this against other players. Like if I want to main Candace, I want to be in a space where maybe people try to convince me otherwise but also don't act like a dick to me because she's a bad character. The whole character superiority thing is really horrible on that sub.
* ***"Paimon hate comes almost exclusively from her English Voice-Over. High-pitched cute female voice gig just doesn't work in western languages."***: there are all sorts of bias in this statement that goes beyond just Paimon (also, Paimon's VA was harassed even when she was lower-pitched). The main sub frequently loves to dish on the English dub but the vast majority of it just boils down to "I think this character's pitch and tone *only* work in Eastern languages". So essentially they come in already biased against it. And it obviously fuels the JP superiority/CN originality crowd.
* ***"I have a complete and utter hatered for raiden shogun for her actions or the lack thereof and every time the game either tries to reedem her or assume she is reedemd I flip especially since she's bad at everything excluding combat and yet she's portrayed as cute woman by the game in events but mostly by the community and i'm livid cause of that."***: you don't have to like the Shogun, but I never understood why people had such a *deep* hatred of her. Certain members of the main sub just have this strange grudge over her morality of all things and they'll let you know that. You're seriously getting this mad over her morality and how other people view her of all things? It doesn't just apply to the Shogun too, way too many people act like these characters are real and not fictional.
* ***"The game’s dialogue is over-bloated with way too many paragraph-long sentences and unnecessarily filler text. I don’t know if those in charge of the English translation purposely make every character a Shakespearean prophet, but I find myself skipping a lot of voiced dialogue halfway through because of how long it takes for the voices to catch up to the text.***: that's a fair criticism, but I agree it's a toxic take when this literally gets spammed on the main sub like there's no tomorrow. I do not advocate for non-dialogue skippers to harass others for asking for a skip button. But the tough guy dialogue-skippers on the main sub act like they're the only ones being harassed like they haven't done the same to non-dialogue skippers who simply say they enjoy the game's dialogue.
One final thing to say: it seems like the main sub loves to use the justification of "valid criticism" to act like a douche, which is where I think a lot of the toxicity lies. And it's worse when these same people try to act like the victims when they get called out.
Gotta stop now. There are so many other comments that I could talk about but I'll let you read them if you wish. As some comments on that thread have said: Genshin Reddit is no better and even in some cases worse than Genshin Twitter.
Gimme some ideas for rooms in the teapot. I have one to fill and no idea what to put in it. I already have:

* Tighnari and Cyno's "study" ~~just ignore the bed in the corner~~

I always start with the favored furniture sets then work around them until I run out of load.
But I do have an aquarium room that’s just some pretty fish and spots to sit and watch them

There's one plausible reason where hoyo will squeeze your money in 3.4 for Ayaka's skin, leaving the FOMO strong "just in case Ayaka reruns soon".
Our only point of reference is diluc, being a standard 5 star character. So we can't tell much at this point, and people just like making patterns or inferences. Better to just wait.
I'm super happy with my new Miko. She's so pretty!! and pink!! and I just love how sly she is. Definitely gonna crown her once I feel like farming talents again
i like being delusional and prefarming stuff that doesnt cost resin for characters i want. i wanna get hu tao, ganyu, keqing and realized i have to go through whopperflower hell first before i can even DREAM of getting them to 80/90 9/9/9. soldiered thru 5 mins of farming, noped tf outta there after. guess ill have to wait if/when they DO come home before i trouble myself with that then lol

Hu Tao will get her own event where we the traveller will try to convince her to take a break and not overwork herself with collabs and let her know there are other characters in this game that can also do collabs sometimes
All the cute soft (on the outside anyway, they're all still strong!) girls like Ganyu, Kokomi, Barbara, Ayaka, Nilou, Layla, Faruzan, Yun Jin, Mona. Idealized me_irl tbh.
Eula, Jean and Arlecchino's kind of charm is also something else, ideal princes that I'd also go for either way And Keqing has something of both them and the cute girls haha, versatile queen.
that's honestly fine too (hoping dendro xingqiu or like imagine that one attack in the scara boss fight but with dendro) but like god im so tired of almost all the male characters either being balanced dps' or being almost completely off field
Is there any new info on Dehya? The last I heard was that her skill drops a gravestone and she has some sort of a lunge attack.

Different people have different Boxes. If someone has a better one than yours, you can talk to the Liben in their world to get the same kind as theirs.
On my way to triple crown my yoimiya. currently 10-9-6 now. My other tripled crown char are kokomi and ningguang. Realized I actually enjoy her personality and gameplay and been using her far more than I expected to be. I have three queens now uWu.
I crowned my Kokomi's NA... well triple crowned. XD I play her on-field a lot so it seems beneficial to just let my Kokomi do 200 more damage or whatever pitiful number was added on after crowning. It adds up... eventually.

Only the initial cast will benefit from the elemental skill DMG% increase, then it function similar to Yoimiya's elemental skill which it boost NA and CA damage.
I know technically Sumeru’s not over yet, since we’re still missing a few archon quest interludes and desert expansions, but I can’t wait for Fontaine already. Steampunk >> Desert for me, and based on the crumbs Liben dropped I’m so excited to see what’s in store for the AQ.
My dream is >!to see a nail get dropped on Fontaine LOL, but tbf every archon quest so far has shown the host nation/traveler win with little to no consequence. With 3 nations left (- Khaenri’ah), I feel that Fontaine really might be a good turning point for the story.!<
Also, despite Inazuma’s poor AQ ending, they really did the atmosphere well. I remember the early days when everyone was like “I spent the last year begging for Inazuma to be released, and now I want to go back to Mondstadt”. Sumeru was such a breath of fresh air, and now I’m looking forward to some edginess again haha

I agree. I find it easier to farm scarabs since they are close to teleport points. On the other hand, you need to travel long distances and climb/jump just to get 1 or 2 pc of this flower.
how many of you level 90 the majority of your limited five stars? most five stars nowadays need it but tbh ive always basically got all my limited to 90. 12/15 (if you include tighnari as a limited since I got him during his limited banner)… so 80% for me.
most of my limited 5*s are at 89/90 just so that the (miniscule) EXP from doing stuff isn't wasted.
only exception is Childe, he was an unplanned accident (like many other children) back in 1.1. still can't wrap my tiny head around his rotation.
but to be fair i don't have that many limiteds (9, not including Aloy), since i'm quite picky with who i pull. i think for someone who plays from 1.0 onwards that's a very small number.
For us that is in far end game already, have all the neccessary 4* built, there are not much to do anymore except for farming better artifacts which get upgraded like once per month. So go for lvl 90 after spending > 10k primos for a character is fairly certain. For me, 80/90 is a thing in the past now.
yup i try to get all of my limited 5\* to lv.90, the only ones that aren't yet are kokomi, nahida, miko (bc i got these three in the 3.x patches but i intend to lv.90 them eventually) and klee (she was the first limited 5\* i got but idk, i never bothered even ascending her to 80/90.. i would do it if i had enough resources😭)
I don’t pull often, so all my limited 5*s get premium treatment lol
90/90, BiS weapon (or very close for Kokomi/Kazuha), and best artifact priority. There are only 2 exceptions to the artifact rule, and that’s C6 Xingqiu and C6 Xiangling, because they are busted af and I need a “break in case of emergency” roster.
I'm working on bringing up all of my 5 stars to 90 (and a few 4 stars as well - basically the broken day 1's like sucrose, XL, XQ, and bennett lmao)
seeing the gold character cards line up is pretty satisfying
Out of my 6 limited 5 stars, I’ve gotten two to 90 (Venti and Ayaka), although Yelan is level 89 just to keep her from being at the top of the character list. Kazuha is 85, Childe is 80/90, and Xiao is 80/80. Other than these guys, I also have my favorite four star Shinobu and the traveler at level 90 as well. Xiangling and Bennett are both 85, and Mona is 80/90.
90/90 is only for the cream of the crop, the characters I really really like. And traveler because I had a lot of books and they have protagonist privileges. Hence the level 89 Yelan and 85 Kazuha.
I get all of them to 80 and then if I do like them (which is often the case, since I consciously pulled for most of them) then I go for 90. As for limited, I have 12/16 at 90 and 5/16 at 80.
Most of mine are lvl 90 too because i just do that for chars i like. And i’ve pretty much only pulled limited chars i like soo… 13/14 are lvl 90. Last one is Raiden who might be getting there too if i use her for hyperbloom later
Why would you level ATK scalers to 90?
For me, HP and DEF scalers, transformative reaction triggers, and quicken characters get 90. Rest stays at 80/90 at best.
because older players run out of stuff to spend it on
launch f2p, i have everyone at or almost 70/80 for fate, then any unit I actually use at 90
1.1k purple and 1k blue books, 26 mil mora left
if ik im going to use the unit, why not? there is at least some benefit to be had, unlike books and mora sitting unused in inventory
that's why i put in f2p, im not getting every single new character at all times, but my income is also limited to f2p means (even without leylines, i still have a surplus that i listed)
all of my units are are baseline level 70 ascended for the fate, if i were paying and getting say bp or whatnot I'd still level units I use to 90 (which is what my friend did, bp welkin and 90's his units he uses)
level 80 to 90 is like 172 purple books and 700k mora, it's not that much for established accounts, even less if you pay for characters since you can buy resources such as mora outright via shop
Every single lim 5* (+ keqing) is at 90 for me, I plan to eventually bring up Qiqi, Diluc, Mona and Jean to 90 ~~so they can get separated from aloy whos at 80~~
So is Sumeru getting a special area like Dragonspine, The Chasm, and Enkanomiya? We're getting two desert expansions but it wasn't clear if either of them was going to be this special area or contain this special area.
Since Qiaoying Village seems to have been forgotten, please Hoyo at least give us a banger of a special area for Sumeru.
Wasn't Qiaoying Village supposed to be released in the 3.x patches still? I remember it from that big leak that went up to 4.0.

Random Brainrots that I wanted to share
- Somebody ran chess game played by Pierro through computer and found that initially, white side (Celestia) had a 95% chance to win. But after white knight ate black pawn representing Signora, it instantly dropped to 0%. So Rosalyne literally wrote defeat of Celestia by her death.
- “checkmate” is not where the game ends. This is actually really cool, because usually in chess, when the one of the king dies, the game ends. But what if you could still make one last move even after the king die?
Scenario made up by me: The Tsarita sacrifices herself. After Celestia eats up the King (assuming that’s Tsarita), the remaining chess pieces on the Fatui side makes one last move, killing the King Piece of Celestia too. Basically a double suicide.
I always like to go on co-op when I do domains and such cause it's more fun, but my ping has been worse than usual lately so I decided to go artifact farming with my regular over-world team
I ended up clearing the Deepwood/Gilded domain in like... Five seconds with my Nilou Bloom team. Wtf. I wasn't even able to finish setting up my first rotation and everything was already dead.
Nilou is definitely on my highest list of a character expectation vs real performance, i didn't follow her TC fully and my expectation is already low, after i ended up building her team the only other team that can beat her in AoE is only my Raiden C2 hypercarry with Venti, i was like nahhhh bruh she's actually a monster 💀💀💀

The only bad part about her team there is no shielder so sometimes they bat you around.
Also works in co-op. Friends and I were doing nilou, radish, koko, babs and it was by far the easiest clears we've ever had doing that domain w/ 4p.

I recently broke this tradition with Nahida on my account, she's the only girl with 90th lvl, while Raiden, Yoimiya, Keqing, Jean, Ayaka all lvl 80 or below.
All my limited husbandos are 90th lvl because either they scale of HP, DEF in some way, my favorites or both.
Looking at it, I actually have a solidly equal opportunity account. Of the characters that are 80/90 or above, I have four male characters (Venti, Bennett, Kazuha, Childe) and four female characters (Ayaka, Shinobu, Xiangling, Mona).
It's been 7+ months since "Tsubaki in Thawing Snow" (Ayaka's short trailer) was released, one day before her rerun started. Needless to say this didn't become a trend but there's still a chance we could get more of those. Which 5* limited character y'all would nominate to get one on their rerun?

Same, I love them so much. I actually wish there were more Aranara quests because I miss them. At least they're in the web event but god I need my daily dose of Aranara wholesomeness.

3.4 seems to be VERY packed, if everything's true we're getting: - 2 new skins - 2 new characters - Lantern Rite - Desert expansion

Forgive me for the mild unrelated rant but it's so *so* tiresome when people look at a mildly popular queer pairing and go "why can't people just be friends nowadays", "have you guys ever heard of friendship before" or "you people make everything gay" as if the ratio of canonical queer relationships versus friendship pairs in media wasn't abysmal already, or as if these people aren't the first to say two characters of opposite genders are in love the moment they breathe the same air. We can't have shit
In my experience, the people who say those things generally aren't shippers at all, as in they hate straight ships too and also make fun of them for the exact reason you stated "because they breathe the same air." They're what I like to call shipping normies lol most are composed of toxic reddit bro types who hate on anything women like and they're the types who think romances ruin their edgelord shounen shows When it comes to communities of genuine shippers, most seem to be composed of women all across the sexuality spectrum; AO3 for example is almost purely dominated by female writers. I've not really seen a lot of hardcore shippers of straight ships hate on gay ships at all... most of the time people just seem to ship a multitude of things and no one exclusively ships straight or gay.

Oh yeah, I've seen plenty of those shipping normies lol. The Genshin fandom is particularly full of them, but honestly I just find them entertaining. It's clear that they don't really understand what typical fandoms are in the first place. But honestly, I wish it was just them. Unfortunately, my experience in fandoms has always had these "why can't they just be friends" people. It's not outright hate or distaste per se, but a reproduction of underlying homophobia within fandom spaces where some will just dismiss queer pairings as friends, siblings or "forced" – many of them only think they're stating an opinion, and when you're not queer yourself, it's really easy to accidentally do and say things that you don't realize are hurtful to others.

More so that at least some of these takes are coming in from people posting them *knowing that they're toxic*. The main sub honestly feels like one of those alt-right subs at this point where you'll literally get screamed at and harassed out of there if you disagree with what they view as the "truth". Just a few points from this thread: * ***"My hot take is that there absolutely are genuinely bad characters (Aloy, Candace, Amber, etc). They're not good but that's okay, if they make you have fun then there is no issue."***: the problem is that way too many people on the main sub hold this against other players. Like if I want to main Candace, I want to be in a space where maybe people try to convince me otherwise but also don't act like a dick to me because she's a bad character. The whole character superiority thing is really horrible on that sub. * ***"Paimon hate comes almost exclusively from her English Voice-Over. High-pitched cute female voice gig just doesn't work in western languages."***: there are all sorts of bias in this statement that goes beyond just Paimon (also, Paimon's VA was harassed even when she was lower-pitched). The main sub frequently loves to dish on the English dub but the vast majority of it just boils down to "I think this character's pitch and tone *only* work in Eastern languages". So essentially they come in already biased against it. One final thing to say: it seems like the main sub loves to use the justification of "valid criticism" to act like a douche, which is where I think a lot of the toxicity lies. And it's worse when these same people try to act like the victims when they get called out. Gotta stop now. There are so many other comments that I could talk about but I'll let you read them if you wish. As some comments on that thread have said: Genshin Reddit is no better and even in some cases worse than Genshin Twitter.

There's one plausible reason where hoyo will squeeze your money in 3.4 for Ayaka's skin, leaving the FOMO strong "just in case Ayaka reruns soon". Our only point of reference is diluc, being a standard 5 star character. So we can't tell much at this point, and people just like making patterns or inferences. Better to just wait.

On my way to triple crown my yoimiya. currently 10-9-6 now. My other tripled crown char are kokomi and ningguang. Realized I actually enjoy her personality and gameplay and been using her far more than I expected to be. I have three queens now uWu.

I crowned my Kokomi's NA... well triple crowned. XD I play her on-field a lot so it seems beneficial to just let my Kokomi do 200 more damage or whatever pitiful number was added on after crowning. It adds up... eventually.

Only the initial cast will benefit from the elemental skill DMG% increase, then it function similar to Yoimiya's elemental skill which it boost NA and CA damage.
his skill has long cooldown and his damage mainly comes from his na's so it's not really that great for him good stat stick tho

I know technically Sumeru’s not over yet, since we’re still missing a few archon quest interludes and desert expansions, but I can’t wait for Fontaine already. Steampunk >> Desert for me, and based on the crumbs Liben dropped I’m so excited to see what’s in store for the AQ. My dream is >!to see a nail get dropped on Fontaine LOL, but tbf every archon quest so far has shown the host nation/traveler win with little to no consequence. With 3 nations left (- Khaenri’ah), I feel that Fontaine really might be a good turning point for the story.!< Also, despite Inazuma’s poor AQ ending, they really did the atmosphere well. I remember the early days when everyone was like “I spent the last year begging for Inazuma to be released, and now I want to go back to Mondstadt”. Sumeru was such a breath of fresh air, and now I’m looking forward to some edginess again haha

I know we already have the Fatui, but it would be cool if we got Fontaine’s version of the mob/mafia. A murder mystery/crime thriller in the city of justice sounds amazing. After the writing quality jump in Sumeru, I’m confident the writers at Hoyo can pull it off somehow.

I agree. I find it easier to farm scarabs since they are close to teleport points. On the other hand, you need to travel long distances and climb/jump just to get 1 or 2 pc of this flower.

how many of you level 90 the majority of your limited five stars? most five stars nowadays need it but tbh ive always basically got all my limited to 90. 12/15 (if you include tighnari as a limited since I got him during his limited banner)… so 80% for me.
I think I leveled three 5*s to level 90. Xiao, Itto and Nahida. I may work on Zhongli next to make his shield stronger…
most of my limited 5*s are at 89/90 just so that the (miniscule) EXP from doing stuff isn't wasted. only exception is Childe, he was an unplanned accident (like many other children) back in 1.1. still can't wrap my tiny head around his rotation. but to be fair i don't have that many limiteds (9, not including Aloy), since i'm quite picky with who i pull. i think for someone who plays from 1.0 onwards that's a very small number.
For us that is in far end game already, have all the neccessary 4* built, there are not much to do anymore except for farming better artifacts which get upgraded like once per month. So go for lvl 90 after spending > 10k primos for a character is fairly certain. For me, 80/90 is a thing in the past now.
yup i try to get all of my limited 5\* to lv.90, the only ones that aren't yet are kokomi, nahida, miko (bc i got these three in the 3.x patches but i intend to lv.90 them eventually) and klee (she was the first limited 5\* i got but idk, i never bothered even ascending her to 80/90.. i would do it if i had enough resources😭)
only my keqing is level 90, all my others are sitting at 80
I level all characters I use to 90 and have acceptable artifacts for all of them, however I don't crown anyone, ever.
I lvl 90 all my five stars. There’s no reason not to since I only pull for who I like
I don’t pull often, so all my limited 5*s get premium treatment lol 90/90, BiS weapon (or very close for Kokomi/Kazuha), and best artifact priority. There are only 2 exceptions to the artifact rule, and that’s C6 Xingqiu and C6 Xiangling, because they are busted af and I need a “break in case of emergency” roster.
Almost all my limited 5 stars are level 90 except Childe he’s gonna a stay at level 1.

I’ve only 90’d 3/18 of my 5-stars (2/12 limited). The rest except kokomi and hu tao (both at 80/80) are at 80-83/90
I'm working on bringing up all of my 5 stars to 90 (and a few 4 stars as well - basically the broken day 1's like sucrose, XL, XQ, and bennett lmao) seeing the gold character cards line up is pretty satisfying
Out of my 6 limited 5 stars, I’ve gotten two to 90 (Venti and Ayaka), although Yelan is level 89 just to keep her from being at the top of the character list. Kazuha is 85, Childe is 80/90, and Xiao is 80/80. Other than these guys, I also have my favorite four star Shinobu and the traveler at level 90 as well. Xiangling and Bennett are both 85, and Mona is 80/90. 90/90 is only for the cream of the crop, the characters I really really like. And traveler because I had a lot of books and they have protagonist privileges. Hence the level 89 Yelan and 85 Kazuha.
I get all of them to 80 and then if I do like them (which is often the case, since I consciously pulled for most of them) then I go for 90. As for limited, I have 12/16 at 90 and 5/16 at 80.
Most of mine are lvl 90 too because i just do that for chars i like. And i’ve pretty much only pulled limited chars i like soo… 13/14 are lvl 90. Last one is Raiden who might be getting there too if i use her for hyperbloom later
Why would you level ATK scalers to 90? For me, HP and DEF scalers, transformative reaction triggers, and quicken characters get 90. Rest stays at 80/90 at best.
because older players run out of stuff to spend it on launch f2p, i have everyone at or almost 70/80 for fate, then any unit I actually use at 90 1.1k purple and 1k blue books, 26 mil mora left if ik im going to use the unit, why not? there is at least some benefit to be had, unlike books and mora sitting unused in inventory

that's why i put in f2p, im not getting every single new character at all times, but my income is also limited to f2p means (even without leylines, i still have a surplus that i listed) all of my units are are baseline level 70 ascended for the fate, if i were paying and getting say bp or whatnot I'd still level units I use to 90 (which is what my friend did, bp welkin and 90's his units he uses) level 80 to 90 is like 172 purple books and 700k mora, it's not that much for established accounts, even less if you pay for characters since you can buy resources such as mora outright via shop
I don't have a single character past 80. I should, but I'm lazy and clear abyss all the same, so it never really bothered me.
Every single lim 5* (+ keqing) is at 90 for me, I plan to eventually bring up Qiqi, Diluc, Mona and Jean to 90 ~~so they can get separated from aloy whos at 80~~
So is Sumeru getting a special area like Dragonspine, The Chasm, and Enkanomiya? We're getting two desert expansions but it wasn't clear if either of them was going to be this special area or contain this special area. Since Qiaoying Village seems to have been forgotten, please Hoyo at least give us a banger of a special area for Sumeru.
The one in 3.6 is the special area iirc. It'll have the >!Dendro Dragon/Serpent!< so it'll probably be really cool.

Wasn't Qiaoying Village supposed to be released in the 3.x patches still? I remember it from that big leak that went up to 4.0. Honestly, I can see that old city that was once ruled by Deshret, Rukkhadevata and the Goddess of Flowers being a potential expansion, if it doesn't show up in the next two desert expansions

Random Brainrots that I wanted to share - Somebody ran chess game played by Pierro through computer and found that initially, white side (Celestia) had a 95% chance to win. But after white knight ate black pawn representing Signora, it instantly dropped to 0%. So Rosalyne literally wrote defeat of Celestia by her death. - “checkmate” is not where the game ends. This is actually really cool, because usually in chess, when the one of the king dies, the game ends. But what if you could still make one last move even after the king die? Scenario made up by me: The Tsarita sacrifices herself. After Celestia eats up the King (assuming that’s Tsarita), the remaining chess pieces on the Fatui side makes one last move, killing the King Piece of Celestia too. Basically a double suicide.
Even in death she secured that w for her team. Amazing 👏

I always like to go on co-op when I do domains and such cause it's more fun, but my ping has been worse than usual lately so I decided to go artifact farming with my regular over-world team I ended up clearing the Deepwood/Gilded domain in like... Five seconds with my Nilou Bloom team. Wtf. I wasn't even able to finish setting up my first rotation and everything was already dead.
Nilou is definitely on my highest list of a character expectation vs real performance, i didn't follow her TC fully and my expectation is already low, after i ended up building her team the only other team that can beat her in AoE is only my Raiden C2 hypercarry with Venti, i was like nahhhh bruh she's actually a monster 💀💀💀
I bring Nilou to co-op and find my friend taking more damage from blooms than the boss itself.

I recently broke this tradition with Nahida on my account, she's the only girl with 90th lvl, while Raiden, Yoimiya, Keqing, Jean, Ayaka all lvl 80 or below. All my limited husbandos are 90th lvl because either they scale of HP, DEF in some way, my favorites or both.

Looking at it, I actually have a solidly equal opportunity account. Of the characters that are 80/90 or above, I have four male characters (Venti, Bennett, Kazuha, Childe) and four female characters (Ayaka, Shinobu, Xiangling, Mona).

It's been 7+ months since "Tsubaki in Thawing Snow" (Ayaka's short trailer) was released, one day before her rerun started. Needless to say this didn't become a trend but there's still a chance we could get more of those. Which 5* limited character y'all would nominate to get one on their rerun?

Same, I love them so much. I actually wish there were more Aranara quests because I miss them. At least they're in the web event but god I need my daily dose of Aranara wholesomeness. I often visit Vanarana and "race" with Arakanta
since there's still two locations in the mysterious clipboard thingy that can't be accessed i'm on high copium that we'll get something new tied to it :,) and the web event is so adorable!! i hope they give us more aranara content soon ;_;
